Tom sighed. He glanced at the clock from behind the sunglasses. 30 minutes till the end...then he could get the hell out of here. He heard a commotion outside. Glancing, he saw Syn take a teacher out with a rather strong punch. Without realizing it, he bolted out the door. He made his way to the entrance, but Syn was already gone. Tom glanced around, making sure they didnt see him. "What the hell is..." He ducked as the teacher was led past him, muttering to himself. Rising from the bushes, Tom decided it would be safer far away from school. He headed out. He wouldnt go to the plaza, not yet. He would have to go home first and grab some clean clothes. Ones that weren't stained with blood from the brawl. He wasnt looking forward to it, but maybe his cousin would still be at work. Or at least too drunk or high to notice him. He jogged back home, not really caring that he had left his stuff back in class.

Tom twitched on his bed. He opened his eyes slowly, painfully. He tilted his head, trying to remember where he was. "...how did..." He couldnt get up. He was paralyzed from the neck down, though probably only temporarily. He closed his eyes again. He had finally stopped bleeding, and the stain on his chest was only damp, not wet. He breathed slowly. His door was shut, so he didnt have too much to worry about. He drifted back into sleep, his thoughts still on Sakura. Sakura...please forgive me...

Tom stared around from behind the sunglasses. He sighed, glancing at the note. "The plaza...alright..." Turning, he glanced at Syn and Kit. He couldnt hear what they were saying, but he really didnt care too much. His thoughts turned to Kani. He began walking to the next and last class. On the way, he ignored the whispers for the first time in his life. He glanced back at the note. "Hey! Stain Eyes!" He looked up and fell backwards as he narrowly dodged a punch. Landing hard on his back, he rolled over to dodge the stomp. Sweeping a leg out, he caught a lucky shot on the kid. They grappled, but Tom was much stronger. He finally over powered him, landing on his chest. He raised his fist over the kids head. "Why did you attack me!?" The kid was obviously very afraid. He was hoping the sucker punch would hit. "WHY DID YOU ATTACK ME!?" "Because your..." "A freak?! Is that it!?" Tom's eyes were a deep red. He could scarcely contain the hatred he had for the kid. He had no reason, short of his eyes! "You dont deserve to live!" Toms fist fell, bashing the boys face several times. Then Tom quickly recoiled in horror. Some of the blood from the boys face had splattered into his own. Into his eyes. "No...no..." He bolted off to the bathroom, leaving the boy lying alone on the floor. He hunched over, gripping his stomach. Then he began to wash his face. "Damn it...damn it..." The blood washed out...physically. Tom stared at his reflection. "Dont lose it Tom...dont lose it...I defended myself. He deserved it." His gaze wandered to the sunglasses on the sink. He picked them up, staring at them. "Its alright...it washed out...your eyes are still stain free..." Physically at least... He placed the glasses on, heading to his last class, shaking. He avoided the hall that now had a bleeding boy unconscious on the floor.
I've also been trying to draw my own but by the time I get near anything close to a decent manga I think of a different idea that seems so much better.
I have at least 30 different ideas that never got off the ground. But anyway, I would suggest making a script, and drawing the pictures based off of those. That tends to work for most people. I myself work backwards (I already have a nice climax to my current project, but no beginning whatsoever) but that doesnt work for most people. Keep at it. Its very difficult to make a kick a** manga the first time. If you ever need help with anything, let me know! My drawings may not be the best, but I can sure come up with some great ideas (which leaves my other projects in the land of forgotten)

Tom sighed as he tapped his pencil on the wall. He ditched his class. He didnt need gym, he had enough practice running. He closed his eyes and leaned against the wall. It was a small alley between two buildings. Few people even bothered to look in it. He chewed the pencil, his eyes closed behind the sunglasses he wore to hide the red. A pair of girls walked by, unaware of his presence. They haulted at the entrance to the alley and began to talk. Oh god...go somewhere else you stupid...wait a minute....what are they talking about? He slid closer, completely silent. He eavesdropped on the girls. "Apparently the freaks are getting wilder...did you hear what Stain Eyes did?" "Punched a kid?" "Better! He threatened to kill one of them! Also, I heard that their all starting to notice each other!" "What do you mean?" "Well, first Psycho helped Vampire, not to mention Stain himself was seen with the rape girl and Jinx! Also, one of the..." He stopped listening after the last part. Sliding down, he stared in front of him. The girls finished their gossip and walked off. He sat there, immobile for a moment, before slowly getting up. "...maybe I should ditch the rest of the day..." No...I still have to meet Kani and the others... He grabbed his backpack and walked out of the alley. "....damn I hate the human race...."

Tom crouched. He was losing quite a bit of blood, but he refused to stop moving. He had to find Sakura, and make her understand. Even if she doesnt forgive him, he would take a little peace in that she wouldnt have to deal with him. He clenched his teeth and rose with a low grunt. "Shes...the tiger...she killed her father....I dont understand what...is going through her mind...SAKURA!" He shouted into the forest. Grunting again, he head deeper in, leaving a rather large trail of blood behind. His sword dragged limply on the ground. He stumbled and leaned against a tree. "Sakura...Im sorry...im so sorry..." You dont deserve her... "No...i dont..." Then why do you continue to follow her? Why do you bother, if you know that you are worthless in her eyes! "Because...I cant....control my emotions...for her..." Your a fool... "Yeah...your right...maybe I should leave her alone....go off and die somewhere..." Why dont you? "....Im done with you...leave me..." I saved you...you need me Tom...you need my help to stay alive... "Thats what I thought as well. But...using you to hide my emotions..." He fell to his knees. "...has just led me further into hell then ever before..." ..... "I...will know...peace...in death or life...but...I will never know...bliss until..." He fell forward, finally unable to continue from lack of blood. "until....I see....her...smile...at me..." His last sight was the forest spinning around him as a blue flame left his body and dissapeared. "Sak...ur...a"

Tom stared after her. He had barely noticed the kick, even though it reopened his chest wound. "She...has killed..." But how? Someone like her...I didnt think it possible... Youve been so focused on hiding from your past, you forget that others have skeletons in their own closets... I've been running from my past...from the murder... You defended yourself. It was right. "He deserved death...no matter what others say...but Sakura..." You've forgotten that you are not the only one with problems... No...I didnt mean.... You've run from the truth for so long that you've finally collapsed. It's caught up with you Tom. "Shut up..." Its falling apart right in front of you...your watching your life turn to ash... "No...Sakura..." Will never forgive you. Did you see the look in her eyes? "...disgust..." No...rage...she's confused Tom. She doesnt know why you killed, and you dont know why she killed. She doesnt understand how you can assume she never killed. You were blinded by your emotions for her, believing her to be an angel in disguise. "Maybe I was wrong...maybe I shouldnt love her..." You've finally realized it, havent you? How do you plan on redeeming yourself in her eyes now? "......." Its over Tom. Your honor has collapsed because of your pride...you assumed that only you have sinned. ".....then....do I deserve to live? Do i deserve...Sakura?" Apoligize to her. Let her decide your fate. Let her decide if you deserve her love. If not... "....then I run....like before...but I wont stop....I'll keep running....until death..." Go apoligize Tom. Ask for her forgiveness. You are...enlightened...in a way. You may still have a chance to redeem yourself...in her eyes at least... He slowly stood up. Gripping his chest, he limped into Knockdown High, and headed towards the dorms, following the tracks of Sakura's tiger form.

Tom breathed heavily. "Filth...treating him like that...they have no right!" Kani stopped him from leaping out to help the boy. He was clenching his fist tightly, and his eyes were even redder. She managed to hold him back until the teachers left. He sat down, trying to control his temper. Unstable...he need...be watche...will...care.... A memory flashed through his mind. He finally calmed down enough to slow his breathing. He shut his eyes, allowing the blood to slow its mad rush through his veins. He lowered his head, staring at his feet. Without raising his head, he spoke softly. "You make perfect sense Kani. I dont know why, but I understand completely. I will meet you where ever you want on one condition. That you allow me to at least try to get that guy to come. No one deserves to be treated like that, no matter what they've done. If he refuses, then thats that. Where do you want me to meet you?"
-
"Dont you? I would. Ive murdered two people, and only one deserved death. Why wouldnt you hate me? Im a murderer." He had a sad look in his eyes. "I dont hate you! I never have!" "You dont...why? Why would anyone even care? I dont feel sorry for myself, I dont lament about my life. I am ashamed. I chose this path, and so far, it has been paved with blood. Thats why I never cared...thats why I never felt remorse or pity to those I hurt. You watched me kill her, just now. You know that I have no qualms about killing, and yet you say you dont hate me? Then what!? What is it you feel with me! I know my emotions, and I know what I feel for you! I just figured it out, and I had hoped to keep it a secret so that you would never get wrapped up in my mistakes. I love you Sakura, but I fear that if I show that love, you will be killed like so many others! I dont want that blood on my hands, I wouldnt be able to handle it! What other choice do I have? Now it is your decision. I respect any choice you make, no matter what. What are your feelings for me? Please tell me...no matter what it is..." He stared at her, both ashamed and proud, and waited for an answer.
-
Tom smiled weakly, staring straight ahead. "My eyes." She glanced at him. The red iris, the bloodshot whites. "Heh...here we are, telling each other these things, and I dont even know your name. Im Tom." "...Kani." He shifted his gaze from his feet to the ceiling. She glanced back at his eyes. "Is what they say...true? Did you really..." Kani trailed off in the question. Tom picked it up. "...Did I really kill someone? Heh...no. I would never kill someone unless they were trying to kill me or...the red is from a genetic disease. Its hereditary, so you have nothing to fear from it. I never get enough sleep at my cousin's house, thats why their bloodshot...gives the impression of-" "Bloodstains..." He looked at her. She flushed slightly before lowering her head. "Sorry..." "Dont be. Your the first who hasn't called me Stain Eyes in around 7 years."
-
Tom walked out of the class. He had been yelled at for punching a kid. Fool deserved it. "Idiots..." He headed through the gym, knowing it was quicker to head to the office that way. He heard a noise, and crouched down. He glanced around the gym, his red eyes falling on a figure on the bleachers. He stopped, slowly rising. His backpack slipped and hit the floor. The girl looked up quickly. Tom immediately lowered his head. He was silent for awhile, aware of the stare. "...sorry...I...would you like me to leave?" He slowly raised his head and glanced at her.

Hmm...deep. Almost depressing really...what inspired it to come forth? I like it. Out of 10, I've give it a 7. Alot can be said in four lines. Alright, Im rambling...

First word...heehee...well, I was sitting in the living room when my brother "accidentally" set a book on fire with a candle. Dad came rushing in, shouted "OH SH**!" That was all I would say for three weeks. "Oh sh**!" Dog = Oh Sh** Mom = Oh Sh** Ball = Oh Sh** Well, you get the picture. Moral of the story is my first word was "Oh" :p

Sorry to say, I never had a blankie. I had this large rainbow fish my grandma made for me. I never could sleep without it. But, when I was around 4 (I had it when I was 1) I lost it for around 8 years. (Heart wrenching story) I had actually forgotten about it 2 years after I lost it. When cleaning out the garage, I found it under a bunch of old blankets (all my siblings). I had found it one day after my grandma died. Now, I keep it as my memorial to her. Its a big fluffy fish, and while you wouldnt think it too comfortable, it really is. Where is it now? Sitting on my pillows, waiting for me with my two stuffed teddy bears (both from random relatives) and a pink cat (which I hide like my life depended on it) that was made by grandma as well. :( I really am pathetic...*angst*

Tom grunted as he kneeled, bleeding from a fresh wound in his shoulder. He was slowing considerably, yet he didnt know why. Sakura...hates me...that much I know...then...why should I... He blocked another stab, barely. Akari was much faster. Tom staggered backwards, deflecting blows and slashes. Why do I care...why do I care... "WHY DO I CARE!?" Akari gasped as Tom drove his sword straight through her middle. It was too fast to be seen by either of them. She dropped her blade, staring at the swordsman with wide eyes. Tom stared back, his own eyes full of pity. "Im sorry...but I must live..." He pulled the blade out, dripping, from her stomach. She had a weak smile. Falling backwards, she stared upwards. "...H...honor our...a...agreement...warrior..." Tom dropped the sword. Kneeling, he gently picked her up. She was breathing slowly, and was limp in his arms. He walked over to the deep lake. He laid her gently on the surface, but didnt let go. Her blood clouded the water. "No one deserves a warriors burial more then you...Akari. Forgive me for killing him. Please..." Akari smiled again. "I...for...gave you...a...long...ti...me...a..." She faded into death, with Tom staring at her sadly. "Thank you...now, rest forever." He let her go. She drifted slowly to the bottom and out of sight forever. He straightened up, staring at the lake. He heard a rustling and turned. He stared at Sakura in the trees. "Sakura..." Turning, he picked up the blade. Wiping the blood off, he glanced back up at her. "Why do you stare at me like that? Heh...stupid question. You hate me. I understand. Dont worry...I wont bother you again. Goodbye Sakura." He headed back to Knockdown High, whistling softly as he entered the grounds. I dont plan on living for very long. You wont have to deal with me anymore. He headed to his dorm.

"Leave her alone..." The girls turned to see Tom glaring at them, his eyes even redder then before. He was gripping his backpack tightly, and had a pissed look in his eyes. "Just leave her alone..." One turned, obviously accustomed to butt kissing, and sneered. "And why would we do that?" Tom shifted his glare to her. "...you make me sick...all of you are just disgusting little maggots without a purpose nor a right to live! Now shut up and leave her alone!" The girls stared at him, then shivered as his glare passed all of them over. They dispersed, whispering amongst themselves. Tom glanced at Dazhen for a second, careful to avoid eye contact, before heading into the classroom without another word. He slumped into the chair, staring at his desk. Stain Eyes...Stain Eyes...Stain Eyes... Heaving a sigh, he loosened his jacket, pulling out his sunglasses. He put them on and waited for the bell to ring.
-
Stain Eyes, Stain Eyes, Stain Eyes... Tom slowly opened his eyes. His mind was wandering again, going over the name hysterically. He had stopped listening to the muttering around him a long time ago. Blinking, he felt stares on the back of his neck. He knew what would come next. "...are you sure?" "...yes! his eyes are red!" "...why do they call him stain eyes?" Tom turned, staring at the pair who were whispering to each other. He glared at them, rather enjoying the shock as they stared at his blood red eyes. It was a rare disease, something about the veins in his eyes being to weak. That, coupled with stress induced blood shot, gave the impression of eyes spattered with blood. "Because I killed someone, and their blood flecked my eyes permanently! Want to restain them!?" "TOM!" He winced as the teacher shouted at him. Getting up, he kept his head down, not out of shame, but to hide the damned eyes. "I will not have you threatening students! Now sit down and shut up!" He clenched his fists, but sat down quietly. The whispers flew even faster. crap...now the whole school will know I threatened someones life...just another whisper to deal with I suppose... He laid his head back on the desk, staring longingly out the window.

Akai took a solid blow from Breodia. He shattered several pillars before rolling to a stop. He stood up shakily, and narrowly dodged another swipe. A succubus landed on his back and began to rake her claws across his throat. He used her to shield himself from the next attack. Throwing the carcass aside, he ran for Breodia. He knew Jin and Marendithis were fighting the hordes of demons. Hopefully, they would join the battle with Breodia. He flipped over the Shadow Lord's shoulder, impaling it with a wing. He was inflicting minimal amount of damage against the creature. A thought entered his mind. He dodged a slash, leaping to the edge of a narrow bridge. "JIN! MARENDITHIS! SHIELD YOURSELVES, ALL OF YOU!" The fighters scattered as Akai raised his claws. Breodia charged towards him, letting out a roar. A fireball formed in between Akai's claws. His eyes glowed furiously. "For the lost souls!" A barrage of fireballs appeared out of fiery clouds that Akai conjured. They rained upon the demons and Breodia alike. Their screams tore the air, some bursting into flame, others slowly roasting. Akai clenched his teeth as a fireball tore past, searing his skin. He dodged towards Breodia's burning form. He threw his arm forward, impaling the Shadow Lord through the eye. A lucky swipe threw Akai against a pile of rocks. The fireballs halted, leaving only the humans and the three allies alive. Breodia roared, still burning. "I WILL KILL YOU ALL!!" He turned to face them, his eyes burning a deep red. Akai stood up, brushing dust off. He fell into a battle position as the others grouped around him. "To the very end!"

Tom finished wrapping his daggers. He had bundled his weapons, training clothes, weights, everything he owned, in thick canvas. Only his broadsword and the clothes he wore now were left. He placed the bundles on his bed, then walked out. He headed down to the grounds, leaving his door unlocked. He walked towards the gates leading to the forest. He carefully made his way to a grove with a stone ring. He sat down and waited. A few minutes later, Akari finally came into view. Both faced each other. Tom drew his sword, Akari drew hers. Both were dead serious. Tom pointed his blade at her. "This is the last fight. Whoever wins lives to see tomorrow. Whoever loses..." Akari nodded. "Accepted. What about the body?" "It isnt the first time I've had to deal with corpses. Theres a rather deep pool near here. We put it in there, and send their soul onwards." "Very well. I will honor the bargain murderer." "As will I..." Both fell into a fighting position. A moments hesitation, and they clashed in their duel to the death, the dead leaves swirling around their feet.

Tuscov paused as he heard a crash. Reya walked back in the doors. The half breed didnt bother asking what it was she did, but continued down the corridor, trying to wipe the blood off of him. He slipped and landed on his back with a loud thud. He ignored the looks shot at him from the others, and slowly climbed to his feet. He stumbled after them, still covered from head to toe in blood.
-
Tom was trying hard to not notice the stares. He kept his head tucked into his chest, hiding his eyes. He knew that they were trying to glimpse them, the rumored "stain eyes". He heard the whispers again and felt his temper flair up. He struggled to control it, and finally exhaled slowly, regaining his composure. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a pair of sunglasses. He put them on, then finally raised his head to see where he was going. He finally found the class, and walked carefully inside. He quickly took a seat before the teacher could notice him. Tom marked the nearby students, and heard more whispers. But they were a mix of his own rumors and someone elses, something about rape or some nonsense like that. He finally noticed that he and one other girl had a ring of empty seats around them. He glanced at the girl, marking her down. He didnt make any assumptions, since that could lead to trouble, and he didnt really have the right. The teacher walked up and began to harass him about the sunglasses. He didnt take the argument further, and finally took them off. He then laid his head on the desk and waited. "...another day in hell..." He muttered to himself.

Does anyone have eyes that change colour????
SilverCyclone replied to Heero Darkangel's topic in General Discussion
My eyes change depending on what I wear. If its light, they become a light blue. If I wear dark colors, they become green. It scares some people, but most just think I have really cool eyes (girls really like them! ). I havent figured out what makes them do this, but sometimes they look kind of like a starburst, with blue on the inside and green on the outside. I really enjoy my eyes. Im weird that way...There may be a scientific reason, and Im sure there is, but until I find it, Im gonna enjoy my blissful ignorance. -
Hi Aqua! I just signed up as the Angel of Fire, but I am utterly confused. Am I allied with Lucifer, or the Dark Angel? I wasnt sure, so my bio kind of avoids mentioning it. Please clear this up!
-
((Angel of Fire if that pleases you)) Name: Typhon Name: Tom Era Nick name(if any): Ember Age: 19 Appearance: He stands around 6'4", around 235 lbs. He has a slim build, and is kind of gangly. Reddish/orange hair, tan skin. He wears laid back clothes, his favorite outfit being a black muscle shirt, red shorts and an old airforce jacket (the ranks states that he's a liutenant (spelling?)). His eyes are a kind of strange orange, almost a fire color. He has a long scar running across his throat as if slashed by something, and he wears red leather gloves with the fingers cut out. Personality: Boisterous and happy, he always tries to look on the positive side of things, no matter how dark they appear. His loud voice easily carries a long distance, and he enjoys talking with people more then any other of his hobbies. He hates people who inflict pain or suffering on others, and tends to pick fights with them. He has a short temper as well, often making him go into wild mood swings, from happy to mad in a flash, giving him the nickname Ember. Bio: In the past, he was an excellent fighter. He enjoyed talking with his opponents as he fought. He never questioned his way of life, believing that God was always, and will always be, perfect. He was horribly efficient at killing. But, he was still kind, and was merciful to those who deserved it, but this also helped bring about his downfall. When he showed mercy to his foe, the dishonorable wretch backstabbed him. He would've survived if the prince had not destroyed everything. Now, resurrected as Tom Era, he has spent seven years learning fighting, though he doesnt know why he has such a passion for it. He's proficient with a blade, a mediocre archer, and an excellent hand to hand fighter. Unfortunetaly, his father was abusive, and cut his throat during a rage. Tom refuses to talk about it, believing it his problem to deal with and no one elses burden. ((If I made a mistake, please PM me and let me know. :D ))
