1. I'm more into the fluffy BL than the full-blown yaoifests, so my favorites are Gravitation, Legal Drug, Gravitation, Loveless, Gravitation, La Esperanca, and Gravitation. Sometimes I like Gravitation too. XD Okay, anyone who knows anything about me knows I'm totally obsessed with Gravitation... seriously, don't even get me started. Just leave it with a nice lil' "kill me shining". I don't think anyone's list is complete without Gravi, really. Legal Drug... Clamp. Pretty boys. Put two and two together and you've got one of my favorite manga of all time. I just wish Clamp would continue it, though... from what I hear, it's been postponed. -_- Loveless is really sweet, angsty, action-packed, and mysterious all at once. Even if it wasn't shounen-ai it'd still be a great series, it just wouldn't draw as many fans. Oh, and it has cat ears. Did I mention that? La Esperanca is really cute. I like the art styles in it. I only have the first volume so far so I can't say much about it, but I like what I've seen... is it worth it to get volume 2, does anyone know?
2.
The wierdest manga that I have read has got to be Legal Drug. But its still a good manga, just wierd at times.
Eh? What's weird about Legal Drug? I mean, what's weird about painfully pretty boys dressing up in china dresses and working in drugstores for very, VERY weird bosses? I love Legal Drug... *sigh* XD Weirdest manga... can't believe no one's suggested Azumanga Daioh yet. I think the moments with Sakaki and "Chiyo's dad" pretty much speak for themselves. If not, there's always perverted ol' Mr. Kimura, the raging battle between Osaka and Chiyo's pigtails, and Sakaki's never-ending quest to find a cat that doesn't bite. Excel Saga is also pretty high up there. HAIL IL PALAZZO!
3.
I think the show is so much better because the manga shows Shuchi looking so much older and HE NEVER HAD A SISTER!!!
I don't follow your logic. How does Shu looking older and not having a sister merit the anime being better than the manga? I personally love the manga a bajillion times more than the anime, mainly because I don't have to deal with the atrocious dub or read subtitles. Plus, the manga has all of Murakami's charm and humor intact. I also prefer the art (if you get past the first few volumes). That being said, if I had a dime for every translation error Tokyopop made, I'd be a very rich man. Which is saying something, considering I'm a woman. o_O I don't get it either.
4. Fake Star by Tomokazu Seki. Quite possibly the single catchiest song in the history of catchy songs. Numero uno on my list of songs I wish was on DDR. But if we're talking about English songs, I'll go with The Adventure by Angels & Airwaves, mainly because my brother won't stop worshipping them and besides, Tom Delonge's pretty hot....
5. Wow! Thank you so much sakurasuka! This is perfect! And yes it was for my MyO page. And to answer Satoru's question I don't care what size but I guess that doesn't matter now cause sakura's was perfect! Heehee! Thanks again!
6. Wow, am I the only one who cared for Ixion from FFX at all? Jeez. It was my favorite. I've always been a sucker for the Lightning element, and its fighting style suits me, especially considering I spent every speed sphere I got for a while raising its Agility and Evasion. I also liked the Magus Sisters in FFX, but only Sandy, because her Razzia attack does 99,999 for me every single time and I can always make her do it for some reason... she's the only one who never goes "taking a break..." so she's pretty cool.
7. Well, obviously Gravitation, I mean it's an anime about music, how can it not rock (pardon the pun)? Those songs get stuck in my head so easy, especially Sleepless Beauty. On the other side of the spectrum, the classical scores of Last Exile are phenomenal. I can listen to the O.S.T.'s all day long.
8. First off, Tohma Seguchi from Gravitation- not exactly your traditional villain, not sure if he really counts as a villain, but he's a jerk nonetheless. I like him because he's so manipulative and cunning and you want so badly to hate him but you can't... he's too gosh darn cute! Seymour (FFX) also makes my list... geez, seriously, HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO KILL YOU BEFORE YOU TAKE THE HINT? And how the heck does he get his hair so kick-butt? Maestro Delphine (Last Exile) is also pretty villainous, that tone of voice she has that tells you that she just doesn't care... plus she's a chick. You don't see many female leading villains.
9. Hiro from Gravitation... what can I say? He's mature, smart, funny, sincere, not to mention he's smokin'... and in a band! I can be a groupie AND his lover! Hahaha! Maybe I'll cheat on him with Ryuichi... probably not the best boyfriend ever but he's freaking adorable and probably great for a one-night stand. Hehee.
10. I know no one's gonna do this for me but... I really badly need a Gravitation welcome or enter sign for my new layout... I don't really care which character(s) it is, anything will do. Preferably black but color isn't an issue either.
