1.
No ones flaming anyone. If you were offened by my post then I aplogize. But you should play a game longer than an hour before making up your mind about it. My only wish is for games to be reviewd by more than 1 person from each site. It seems one person makes up their mind and everyone feels the same.Be it magazine or site. The whole review system disgusts me. Who do you trust if everyone is giving it a different grade? The only way is to play the game first aqnd decied for yourself.
So if that is the case then no review should exist. They DO get as many people as they can to review that game. That is how most review sites work. Also what would you give KH2? Also I played for around 10 hours and I think that is more than enough A. I started several characters at once. B. I explored thouroughly C. You cannot get to the third level in one hour.
2.
Alright from reading your past posts you havent even beaten the first game. You didnt even beat the thrid level. So stop trying to know what your talking about. I care because it gives pepole like yourself reasons to go around bashing the game you know nothing about. I feel IGN gives bad reviews like MGS ACID a 6.5? It desrved better than that. Jade Empire a 9.9 their highest grade for a decent game. I just cant stand unjust reviews. Your entitled to your opinion but when 1000s of pepole are reading this review they are going to think oh KH2 is crap. I want reviewrs to look at games with an equal eye.
Ok look First of all I do know what im talking about. I have played enough to know that he game is goo(7.6=good) but the gameplay needed some work. And Acid getting a 6.5 is veeeeeery generous beacause it dissapointed me greatly. Also Jade Empire=awesome game not 9.9 maybe 9.7. Also good=crap WTF? Soo an equal eye means everyone thinks its great (8+) perfect?(9+). Also for your info I have already oredered my copy and I have been planning too for a while. Even if the game is aweful I will still love it for the music(only j pop I like ina game). So why don't you try and chill with the attemted flaming?
3. Hmm I loved this anime for a few reasons but they are not A. voice acting *bleh* B. message *im more important than nature beacause I have a soul* C. Soooooo confusing at the end Why I love A. animation=lovelyx10000 B. OMFG beautiful music C. Arjuna is hott D. I liked the love story E. I liked the fight scenes F. its funny when arjuna freaks out about burgers*was hilarious* There you go
4.
Bleh, I'm just going to list my order of preference before I get on to discussion; Joint First Place: FF7/FF8 ~Final Fantasy 7, but not so much for the whole 'ground-breaking wonder' thing that others go for. I don't find the story as confusing as some, and I generally found it quite interesting/involving. The characters generally had quite well fitted personalities, though a few obvious ones were a bit too stereotypical. There were so many side-quests and sub-plots to investigate, and many of the bosses, standard and hidden, were the most challenging I've seen out of all of the FF games. ~Final Fantasy 8. To be perfectly honest, I despised this on my first go. It just seemed a little too mushy, y'know? Though, strangely enough, that element of the game is what draws me to it most nowadays. The Draw/Junction system was an... interesting feature, but it was excellent in terms of customisation and adaptability. I just think it's funny that I live the game for the reasons that other people hate it, lol. Joint Second Place: FF4/FFX ~Final Fantasy 4. I can't actually think of why I liked this, since I haven't played it in so f***ing long... but yes, it gets this position. ~Final Fantasy 10. If I could remember enough to justify my rating of FF4, this'd be dumped back down to Third Place. The characters, plot and graphics were great, sure, but it just didn't have the right feel for me. Though the game and plot were just as linear as the previous games, the lack of a World Map, for me, completely drained away all illusions of freedom. It just felt like a 'here's the path, now walk' adventure. And I hated the removal of the ATB system, I really did. What really kept me from busting FF10's a** further was Blitzball - which was so brilliant a mini-game that it could make a half-decent spinoff - and the changes to the summoning system - which would've been even better for me with ATB. Third Place: Final Fantasy 9. This one did it for me the first time through, but I'm not particularly fond of it anymore. All-in-all, it was just too easy. You didn't even have to make use of most of the abilities to get through the game, and though a few bosses could be a handful at lower levels, they weren't too much hassle if you levelled efficiently. And the stunted-growth-look of the characters... Phmeh, no thanks. Fourth Place: Final Fantasy 6. I'm not going to give any great reasons for this, I just don't like it all that much. Plain and simple. Loserville: FF5, FFX-2 This isn't because of the job system, so much, but because they don't really have that great an FF atmosphere. FF5 just has too bland and cliched a story... I mean come on... 'X-Death'? Translation error or not, that just plain wreaks. FFX-2 didn't feel too stereotyped, it just felt too much like a compilation of mini-games. It brought back the ATB, and the girls were a definite bonus for an adolescent male (face it, you know it's true), but it just didn't gel right. It was, for all its worth, nothing more than a lousy spin-off. Down into the pits it goes... I like FFXI, but, being an MMORPG, I can't exactly classify it alongside the others. I can't wait to play FFXII, but I just hope that they've made a considerably better job than their two previous Playstation 2 efforts.
Hmm why put FF9 down beacause its easy? Almost all of the FF are easy(exept 2 man that was a doozie it was close too ninja gaiden in hardness). Also Loserville is FF8 its by far the worst FF ever next to 11 and I hate that for a whoooole different reason and I dont wanna go there. Also ive changed my list from FF9 to FF10 to FF9+10 together beacause tthey are both the best. Maybe I love FF9 so much beacause it was my first FF game. Also it turned me on to anime. But we all seem to be missing one very important thing. TALES OF DESTINY 2 IS BETTER THAN ANY FINAL FANTASY GAME EVVVVVVEEERRRR. Just so you know. Also im gonna wager that FF12 is gonna be the best of all time.
5.
Actually, .hack//SIGN was very nice at the end.
Tsukasa finally wakes up from her coma and meets Subaru in real life.[/spoiler'] That's probably the best ending that could be hoped for.
What? Thats what happened? Did I miss an epidsode or zone out totally?
6.
http://www.gamespot.com/pages/gamespace/reviews.php?pid=915410 Gamespot has their review in. Which is pretty good althoguh I would think the game would have been scored higher.I was dissapointed to find out this game is pretty easy. Id think it would be harrder. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/698/698697p1.html IGN also reviewd it. Do not read unless you want to throw your computer out a window and write angry letters.I think this review was unfair. This is why I HATE IGN. http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3149052&did=1 Finnaly we have 1up.com which scored it the highest. This is a pretty good review. So KH ranged from good to great. I dont care needless to say Ill play the game and see for myself.
Hmm abot that whole ign thing only a crazed fanboy would do something stupid like that. If they gave it a bad review they gave it a bad reviw why do you care huh? Does this affect you in any way? Also 7.6 is fair if they kept the gameplay the same since before it was bleh.
7.
hitokiri battosai, that is the weirdest thing I've ever heard! ...but I like your style ;) I have another winner here. When I was four, I convinced my sister to help me pour syrup...on the cat! To this day I don't know why, and it was my idea! We chased her across the whole house, and eventually she just gave up and sat there, letting the syrup engulf her. My mom was on the phone at the time with my grandparents; she had to say, "I've got to go, the girls are pouring syrup on the cat!" and hang up. My grandad says it was the strangest excuse he'd ever heard :animeshy: I've also done things like put the tea bag in the trash and the tea bag box in my cup of boiling water, and put the trash in the fridge and the milk carton in the trashcan. God damn, I'm spacy! Worse has been done, but I can't remember at the moment :animeswea
OMFG "I've got to go, the girls are pouring syrup on the cat!" Bumber sticker quality there buddy right up there with **** happens :catgirl: . Oh and once I lit my shirt on fire. While I was wearing it. And rolled in the tall grass really slow. Tall grass=flammable.
8.
Hmm I get the feeling you werent joking :p . But whatever I really dont get depressed over an anime being over. It was a gret ride while it lasted but all good things must come to an end. The best thing to do is to find another quality anime to watch and enjoy. After finishing Champloo I really felt more satsified with the series than depressed.
OMG is was sooo a joke. A joke. And some animes are nice in the end like that but some are not. Like Hack.//sign.
9.
Arjuna wasn't complicated. It was just a fillerific anime that by watching only the first three episodes plus the last two, you'd be able get a good idea of what it's about. Everything in between was J-dorama mixed in with lectures about the environment (which were well thought out but irrelevant to the plot, IMO). And don't take NGE's ending too seriously. The concept and story are terrific enough that they can support NGE's "Classic Anime" status even without the debatable ending.
Ok so yea this is a no brainer. "people should not use words beacuse it ruins there communication" perfectly understandable. "Im am the rasha and my boyfriend"perfect sense. Oh and my personal favorite"math explains everything" yup a 2 year old understands that one. :catgirl:
10. Its a movie? Oh nvm I must be thinking of something else. O hyea that remake that is unconfirmed. But if they do make a remake(which they prolly will) ill buy that instead.
11. Hmm acually im not to pressed to play this game. Beacuse I never got past that stupid tarzan lvl in the fist one. Then my game broke :animecry: So im gonna buy both and beat the first one. Then im gonna beat the second one. Then im gonna go beat grandia 3. Then im gonna go play GW factions. :animenose
12. Im buying advent children. Maybe it will shine some light on this game for me. But im beating Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 first.
13. Buy ARJUNA!!!If you want a smart anime that is. But back to the topic at hand. Sure there are a few simple fun animes coming out now but there are far more pointlessly complicated animes coming out recently which kind of bothers me.
14. Yea one I really hate is Noir. Its like a calculus lesson with ADD. Also another complicated (but good one) is Arjuna. Was a little confused later.
15. Has aybody gone to MediaCavern.com? I think they have a sale now.
16. Grrrr I cant friggin beat that stupid boss at the end of mutation Can someone help me?
17. Hmm maybe I was being a little overcritial. But I get really P.O.ed when someone says"OMG OMG FF7 IS THE BEST GAME EVEEEER!!!"My blood boils. Ill admit the game had a decent story anf groundbreaking graphics*grit grit*. But I think it is far from the best. Its list time. FF Games that are better than FF7(in order) FF9(story is much better, characters are much more memorable, better setting,INVINCIBLE!!!!) FF10(Much more innovative graphics for the time, again better story, again better characters) FF tactics(better gameplay/graphics/characeter) Kingdomhearts1,2(dont know if they count but if they do all of the above reasons) FF4(Better gameplay, cooler story) There.
18.
o.O I'm not sure if you're joking or if you're serious. If you're joking.., Great one, you got me there. ;) If you're not... I don't mean to be rude, but you should get a life. I assure you that I only have the kindest intentions when saying this... Anime is first and foremost a form of entertainment. Most have been created so you can enjoy your time while watching them. If your life is centered around the medium so much that you it can make you depressed for long stretches at a time, you're obsessing way too much over it. That "empty feeling" that comes from completing something and knowing nothing comes after is understandable, but an unmanagable depression? You shouldn't rely on Anime alone to pass your time or make you happy. This way, if you get depressed from Anime, you can get away from it and to your other interests and past times. But yeah, once again, if you're joking. ^^ heh, you got me. -Arvi
Gotcha yea im joking about that deep depression stuff. Well actually one time with chobits I was depressed for about a week. Thats the worst ive ever had. And ive even found an immediate cure (well technically). Guild WArs. When I play this I can forget about everthing and when im done I know I can play agian and there will always be something new and fun when I go and play again. Too bad I can only play on weekends :animecry: .
19. Wow I just found a new song that makes i alot worse. A song called manic depression by Jimi Hendrix. Makes me feel like crap after watching kare kano.
20. One problem is that I hate the disney characters. Before you go and yell at me I have a legitimate reason. Don't get me wrong I love disney characters and FF characters but I am looking for 2 different emotions from each. I am looking for a more happy super fun vibe from disney movies but fromm FF games I am looking for a more animeesque feel for more of a random happyto sad to angry feel. Thats just me though.
21. Why do people say FF7 is the best final fantasy when there are clearly many other better ones. My personal favs is FF9 and FF10. Personally I hated FF7 beacuse A. I thought the story was weak B. even for that time the graphics sucked C. the gameplay is flat out borrrrring. Thats just my opinion.
22. Now its coming to the point where it takes weeks to get out of the horrible depression. This is getting unmanagable. I might have to take a couple years off of anime as a whole just so I can recover.
23. Its gotten to the point where I will not buy any anime that is not more than 25 25 min episodes long so I can stretch it out and prolounge this period of sorrow.
24. I just saw thecommercial on G4 tv. Omg is the music really that friggin awesome? II have to buy this and kingdom hearts 1 Omg Omg awesome.
25. Ive noticed something recently. Whenever I finished watching any good anime I have this horrible empty feeling right in my stomache. It's odd. Ive watched many anime but this strange feeling comes back every time. Am I the only one who feels this odd feeling?
