Originally posted by SemjazaAzazel I have never been in a Gap or an Old Navy. Weird.
You're not really missing much.
I refuse to buy labels....
You know, this subject has always intrigued me. Do people refuse to buy lables so that they can become the 'unconformists' of our society and 'go against' what is considered 'mainstream' and 'cool'? (I dearly hate that word...) I don't buy Abercrombie. I'll admit that I 'refuse' to buy it, though I will still wear the AF clothes that I already own. And yet, when I asked myself why I 'refuse' to even enter an Abercrombie store, I realized it's not because I want to rebel against the norm...it's simply because I hate their clothes and anything you own from there, someone else you know will own it too :p Besides that, it's just not my style. I'd much rather spend all of my time and money in Express or Wet Seal...which I guess could both be considered 'lables' to some extent. I think I look bad in AF/AE "prep" (hate that word as well...) clothes. I guess the reason I'm rambling is because I really am curious. Do you not buy 'lables' because you want to 'rebel'? And I assure you that I'm merely being investigative...

Raiha? There isn't room for another character right now, but there may be need for one later on in the story. I'll let you know :) ___________________ "Your appartment is a mess." Jenna pushed the medi-kit back under her seat. "What?" Justin feined shock, "You mean you didn't clean it up?" Jenna just raised her eyebrows, slightly irritated by the joke, "I was a little busy saving my ***...and yours." Justin snorted, "It was a joke." Jenna crossed her arms and looked away, "I know." Moodiness, Justin noted, irritability, too... Perfect aphrodisiacs for the seductive Dark Side. He decided to drop it...it was her problem that she was a bitch. ~~~~~~~~~~~ "Sliced them in half, huh?" Jenna's mood was still sour, "It's the least I could do." "This place really is a mess. I have no reason to stay." "Where else are you going to stay?" Jenna followed him out the door. "I have some friends that I trust." The turbolift took them up to the general parking area. "Do you want to know why I saught you out?" Jenna didn't glance at Justin as she said it, but he sensed that her emotions had become placid once again. He said it lightly and with a small smile, "A reasonable explanation would be nice."

I just found a cool book today that I didn't know existed. I looked at the copywrite date and I guess it came out in 2000...and I bought it. It's Star Wars: The Essential Chronology, which is set up like all of the other books in the "Essential" line. It'll be helpful to learn the details about things I may have missed in the comics or elsewhere. It's quite neat! It also gives a listing of every book and comic (to date in 2000...it doesn't have the most recent books, namely the NJO series) in order of the Star Wars history. It's nice! I was also wondering if someone could possibly list the NJO books in order for me...as I was looking at them today, I realized that I didn't know which one to start with V_V

When Justin was released, Jenna lead the way back to his cruiser. Her mood, Justin thought, was surprisingly calm. She glanced over at him after he insisting on piloting, "How's it feel?" Justin glanced down at his stomach, "Almost like normal." "Do you have a medi-kit in here?" She started to rummage through random boxes. "Yeah, why?" Keeping his eye on the busy Coruscant traffic, Justin tried to remember where he had stored it, "I think it's under your seat...maybe." He shrugged. "Ah, got it." Pulling out the beat up medi-kit, Jenna pawed through the contents, eventually finding what she was looking for. Ripping the package open with her teeth, Jenna pulled out a skin-colored patch. Justin glanced over, "Synth-flesh...?" He continued to watch as she rolled up the sleeve of her tunic. "Just a little scratch." The area around her lightsaber wound was black and inflamed, "I couldn't trust the medics with all the papers and **** you have to sign." She smiled at him as she carefully applied the patch to the wound, "For all they knew, I was just your little Padawan learner." She blinked her eyes innocently. "Ahh, taking care of Master..." Justin rolled his eyes. Jenna's smiled widened, "Perhaps."

Jenna?s attention was diverted to Justin long enough to see it happen, ?Dammit!? But the distraction cost her, and she paid with a quick, smoking gash in the arm. Groaning at the sudden pain, Jenna turned to face her attacker, ?I told you to leave him out of this!? ?He was in the way.? The man who had stabbed Justin jumped at Jenna, but her fury was rising. Counterattacking his every strike, she spotted the sleeping pallet and hurled it at him. He tried to slice through it, but the sheets became entangled within one another, and it overwhelmed his lightsaber. It wasn?t enough to hurt him, but the soft bed struck him in the face and knocked him onto his back. Spinning in time to face the second man, Jenna struck low at his feet and then threw the Force into a vertical jump, kicking the man in the face and causing him to stumble. It angered her that he hadn?t been knocked over completely, and that anger became apparent as she backflipped and lunged at him. Their lightsabers crashed together, two deadly beams of plasma crackled eerily and became the only noise detectable. Jenna held the man?s gaze for a long second, ?It doesn?t (she blocked a low swing) help?if you (she spun to block an attack coming from the second man) kill me!? On the last two words her frustration became more than apparent. Flipping forward and out of the reach of the green blades, Jenna felt her back hit the wall and waited? One, two, three! Concentrating all of her energy into her jump, she sprung to the ceiling, protected her head from hitting it with her hands, kicked out at both men?s hands and sent two green lightsabers flying. Catching them with the Force and flying them back her way, Jenna whirled out of reach of the two men and sliced their lightsabers in half, ?Why don?t you ever learn?!? Too surprised by her destruction of their lightsabers, the men were easily overcome by Jenna?s Dark power. Lunging at them, one clean strike cut through both of their torsos and left them dead on the floor. Filled with rage, Jenna spat on the ground next to them and stood panting with her lightsaber still ignited. It was only when she remembered Justin that she was filled with a new emotion?sudden anguish.

Sorry this isn't very long...I'm super busy getting ready for a party tomorrow V_V ___________________ Jenna always kept her guard up, even when she was sleeping. She felt something... Springing out of slumber and onto her feet, Jenna threw her cloak on the floor and ignited her saber. "What is this?" Justin's voice was low with warning. Neither man moved as Jenna stepped in front of her host, "Leave him out of this." "Ahh, so the great Lady Jenna is staying with a...Jedi." The word came out as though it was poison to the speaker's mouth. Jenna's reply was quick and biting, "What do you consider yourself, wiseass?" "A Jedi," the same man who had spoken lept forward with obvious aid from the Force, his green blade crackling against Jenna's, "...gone sour."

"Actually, men are not to be trusted nowadays." Jenna toed the man who had first charged at her, "Take this one for example." Still annoyed, Justin frowned, "Yeah, what about him?" "Well," she reconsidered, "this one was rather predictable. Relies on his wonderful blaster techniques to save his behind, when that technique is interupted by a woman, a woman...he gets pissed and charges at her." Justin watched Jenna's face slowly evolve into a model of dark anger, "What else was I supposed to do?" She looked confused when she directed the question towards him. "Well," Justin glanced at the dark hole through the man's belly, "you didn't have to kill him. There are other ways." When she didn't respond, he grabbed one of the dead men under the arms, lifting his severed head with the Force, "Help me get them out of here." Jenna nodded and didn't bother touching the other murdered man, but rather lifted him entirely with the Force, floating him in Justin's wake.

I apologize for the double posting, but I got bored a little while ago and got to drawing. Now, Justin may not agree with my depiction...but this is a quick sketch of my ideal "Master Justin". Cute, ain't he? :toothy:

Jenna was about to take a seat in one of the wooden chairs to do a bit of calm reflection, but noises from the hallway caught her attention. Drawing her lightsaber from under her cloak, she left it off as she approaced the door. Placing her ear against the thin, durasteel slider, she used the Force to magnify sound. "He said it was 5008..." She could hear that the footsteps were directly ouside of the door. "...which is right here." The footsteps stopped. She sensed danger... Backing away from the door, Jenna ignited her blade and the small entryway was washed with a dull turquoise glow. A blaster shot had the keylock smoking, and the door was yanked open by two men. Jenna smiled at their obviously confused faces, "Hello boys." The men, both of firm build and generous height, tried to get a few blaster shots off at her before they realized their efforts were futile. Jenna merely deflected the bolts, nearly singeing the sleeve off one man's jacket. "So," Jenna lifted a finger and pointed it at the jammed door, flicked her wrist to the left and sent it slamming shut, "what is your business here?" Neither man answered, though one was brave -or stupid- enough to lunge at her. Quickly and easily positioning her lightsaber horizontally waist high, the blade slid through the charging man's middle and back out again. The impact pushed Jenna against the wall, and she shoved the man over with a booted foot. "Are you smart enough to share information with me?" The second man glanced wide-eyed at his comrade who now lay motionless on the floor. Jenna watched his face twist into a painfully angered expression. "You *****, what?" but his sentence was interupted as Jenna's blade crept dangerously close to his throat. "Watch your words, sir. You will tell me the information I want." She made a small semi-circular motion with her wrist as she spoke. "I will tell you the information you want." Jenna could feel the man relax. Coming out of battle mode... "You will tell me your purpose here." "I will tell you my purpose here...in search of Justin...some Jedi Master." Her blade hadn't retreated from being stationed at his neck, "And exactly who sent you?"

At least I've found who I've been looking for. Jenna stood in the doorway of the tiny appartment and found it to be the typical Jedi living space. A bed, no, a rather uncomfortable-looking sleeping pallet, two chairs woven of a dark wood, a 'fresher station, a few cabinets and a sink. "Minimal living." Jenna mused, recalling the days she, too, had lived that way. But the air felt different. It was thick with old memories and restless whispers. Jenna closed her eyes and let them become imprinted in her mind...they told a lot of 'stories' about Justin... Feeling more than a little hungry, Jenna glanced at the cabinets that were stationed above the sink. Feeling rather ridiculous for letting such a thing as hunger distract her, she focused energy on something else thus blocking out the malicious little pangs that had been attacking her stomach for days. Crossing the floor to the lone transparisteel window, Jenna glanced out over the city. Justin's appartment was on too low of a level to see over the higher buildings, but she could faintly see the top spire of the Jedi Temple. The site of it always ignited a small fire in the pit of her stomach, and she used that dark energy to help her whenever possible. She knew from the endless teachings that Yoda had bestowed upon her that anger, hate, and agression were all dangerously connected, and woven deeply, with the Dark Side of the Force. A shadow crossed her face as she smiled...if the Dark Side was what she had to use...then so be it.

Hehe ::raises hand:: I changed the title. I thought the "MY" seemed a bit too bold...:toothy: __________________ Jenna awoke slowly and painfully. It took her a few seconds to realize that she was aboard a ship, and the realization had her out of bed immediately. She stalked over to the door of the small bed chamber and threw it open in a sudden burst of fury. Where the HELL was she...why the HELL was her arm throbbing... She couldn't feel the comforting weight of her lightsaber and snorted out of spite, "Where is it?" Justin, who sat at the controls at the front of the craft, didn't turn around to face her, "It's with me for safekeeping...in case you caught amnesia and forgot who I was and went crazy..." "I'd like it back." Jenna's tone was short and dry. "Here." Justin tossed it back toward her and Jenna caught the familiar silver handle with her mind, letting it slowly rotate in front of her eyes. The throbbing arm reminded her of what had happened, "Fayde...I've heard of him." "You're lucky you didn't die." Justin remained facing forward, weaving in and out of Coruscant's heavy traffic. Jenna shrugged, "I suppose so." She plucked the rotating lightsaber out of the air and replaced it on her belt. "Fayde overestimated the damage that one needle could do, he thought that the poison would be stronger than that." Justin finally glanced back at Jenna who was intent on watching him, "It wasn't that hard to draw out with a few healing techniques. Does it still hurt?" Focusing energy on her arm, Jenna blocked out remaining pain, "Nah." "Good." Both Jedi fell silent. Jenna studied the craft that they were in: Republic model... "You're taking me to the Jedi Council." But it was said with more amusement than surprise. "And if I was?" Jenna took a relaxed seat next to the pilot's chair, "I'd tell them that they're all wrong and that they're just too narrow-minded to realize it." Justin shot her a sideways glance and held her gaze for a moment before turning his attention back to the traffic, "But it's where you came from." He said quietly. "I trained as a Jedi, but that isn't forcing me to abide by the Jedi ways. It's not forcing you, either." She leaned closer to him, "Why haven't you left yet?" Justin set his jaw a bit harder, "The Jedi live by the Code, and I am obligated to it." "You don't sound so convinced." Jenna leaned back once again and smiled. "I'm not taking you to the Council...never even thought about it."
