Just because Gore tried to use blood thirsty lawyers to get the votes doesn't mean Bush wasn't originally chosen. Also you really don't know what a dictator is if Bush is one.
  2.
Originally posted by {SITH} Change We are paying for it...
They'd spend it on something else too.
  3. Just launch a skull trap that will do 5d10 damage, that should deal with it. Personally I think the god system in D&D is quite cool, I think it would be awesome if it was like here. There would be no more of these "do they really exist", you'd know they exist and get powers from them.
I don't really see anything which conflicts with Christianity.
It's a problem only to real religious wackos. It's a problem due to the multiple gods to worship. Instead of a single god, you have an overfather (AO), and hundreds of other gods each being worshipped.
  4.
Originally posted by {SITH} Change Do the American people have any idea how much it costs? Iraq is costing 200 Billion...
What does it matter? I'm well aware that it costs that much, but what does it really matter?
  5.
Originally posted by DuoMax I compare USA and England to germany and Itay in WW2.
You're wrong.
  6.
Originally posted by G.D. Ryoko Man do we really have to go to war? If you ask me this is a bunch of bull. I feel sorry for those who died. I am really scared though. New York is horrible. It is hard to try to get around the city. The news says that they want us to go on with our normal lives and not think about the war. If they want us to do this then why do they have to show us the war on the news most of the time. This is bad.
Quit being so selfish.
Thats because of the sanctions and embargoes that have been placed on Iraq by the U.S. and the U.N.
Also because Sadam hordes all the food not allowing it to be distributed to the people.
Not true, off memory the list was very long. It includes - Australia (People don't support) Canada (People don't support) England (People don't support) France Germany Russia
For the People not supporting it, they didn't support stepping in when Hitler was invading either. And this applies directly to England too. France and Russia are against it because they have cushy oil deals with it, and Germany has been making money off of Iraq by selling them weapons and building them bunkers to withstand bombs.
  7.
Originally posted by Endymion When was the last time Bush sent aid to Afghanistan, by the way? Last I heard, after the Taliban were kicked out, anarchy ensued and the people currently are fighting amongst themselves. Meanwhile, there's practically a big fat "0" in Bush's budget to help Afghanistan next year.
That's where UN comes in. Also just to answer the statement "but the US says the UN is worthless.", those people are talking about the security council, the humanitarian side is actually quite good.
  8.
Originally posted by {SITH} Change It is horrendous to point at one atrocity, and ignore the rest of the world arround you.
Actually quite a number countries are behind the war, the only people that are really against it are France, Germany and Russia. Sounds like the new Axis powers to me.
I am just saying that it is not the right place or time, we missed out chance 10 years ago.
WE didn't miss our chance, we were denied it by the UN.
  9. I don't see what's the big problem, I mean would Optimus Prime allow anyone to do anything evil? Of course not. http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_fullstory.asp?id=3828
  10.
Originally posted by Orien_Xel Why? Why should we just shut up and be little sheep? Because we might demoriliaze some troops?
Exactly, all of you hippies are ready to pull another Vietname where when the soldiers return home, you'll be booing them and throwing cans at them.
  11.
Originally posted by Domon And besides the fact, using nukes went dead as soon as we bombed Japan. We haven't used Nuclear warheads since then. And another thing a nuke never detonates in midair or above a city, it blows up on contact!
It detonated above ground at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That's why they could move back in in a couple of years (?) instead of millinea. Also when I say above ground, i mean not under the earth. If a nuke was planted under the earth and then blown up, it would be extremely catastrophic sending tons of radioactive debris all in the atmosphere and pretty much securing radiation poisoning for hundreds of years.
  12.
Originally posted by Tigervx Receding shockwaves? Radiation poison? I hardly think that as minimul losses. It would kill at least ten million Harry. And I know alot about weapons, so I would know this stuff, considering the population of Iraq.
When you were talking about Fallout, I was assuming the you were talking about the global impact. The Fallout wouldn't be as bad a nuke planted there.
  13.
Originally posted by Medra It has to deal with gokents 'insulting' Juu's intelligence. And the fact that she happens to know a lot about the Vietnam war, which gokents brought up. Pay attention, Harry.
Like I said just because you're in some Honors course in Middle School doesn't mean your smart.
By the way, American History doesn't dive into the Vietnam War much. Barely goes past the 1950s.
True.
But using Nuclear weapons would cause a fallout so catastrophic the deathtoll would be huge
Not really. Assuming the it detonates above the ground it won't be as catastrophic as you say, granted it won't be the best thing for the environment.
  14.
Originally posted by Juuthena Not all 16-18 year olds do that. That's kinda stereotypical, actually. I have friends who are sophmores, juniors, and seniors, and none of them take drugs, drink alcohol, or just think about sex.
You just won't be as absolute when you're older. They might not do that, but they probably don't care that much either.
  15.
Originally posted by Syk3 So, are you saying that all 16-18 year olds do drugs? I'm around that age, and I'm not laughing.
A lot of people change their mind.
  16.
Originally posted by Juuthena I'm in advanced honors in World History. My history teacher's husband, who's American, fought in the Vietnam war. My grandfather also fought in the Vietnam war. Also, my school is a public school with private school abilites. It's courses are different than all the other middle schools in the district, not to mention our school has the highest scores/test scores in the city. Thank you for not 'honoring' my stupidity. I highly appreciate it.
And what does that have to do with anything? World History is too vague of a subject anyway.
  17.
Originally posted by Juuthena Well, nobody has to get familiar with drugs. I wouldn't encourage any of that, either. I'm 13 too, and I wouldn't even think about doing those things. I'm not calling you a bad person, Dan. I just don't think it's the best thing to do in your early teens. = \
Be prepared to laugh at your ideas when you're 16-18.
  18.
Originally posted by S@bretooth hmm, yes I did notice that, along with the increase in earthquakes.
Has there been one in the past 6 months?
  19.
Originally posted by S@bretooth Do you think the Kyoto protocol should be enforced on every nation? do you think it would make a difference?
I think the Kyoto protocol is not the answer at all. It doesn't even guarantee an effect, but it does guarantee a a huge amount of money spent.
And is it possible, considering we cloned a sheep not too long ago, to reproduce ozone chemicals and place them in the hole like a giant bandaid? :drunk:
Notice that storms are getting more frequent recently? Storms create Ozone. Humans don't need to help the earth, the earth isn't as weak as the nature freaks want you to believe.
  20.
Originally posted by Charles And really, there are many young teenagers that are more mature than adults. I've met many young members here, some Dan's age, who seem to be very intelligent and mature.
 Maybe the 1 or 2 that you met here, but your statement isn't true at all.
  21.
Originally posted by Mitch It's really hard to believe such a thing happening, but I know it is true.
Why? It happens all the time. There was a real bad one in Europe during 1917 that originated in Kansas (somehow carried over there). here's a link :Link Sure that was almost a century ago, but there has yet to be a cure of a flew and with more and more use of medication, viri will mutate and become stronger.
  22.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve The department of Health would strongly disagree. there's a comercial running on TV now which explains that one joint is equal to 4 cigarrettes. No offense to you or your "source" but I would tend to believe the department of health over you.
That's true, but you don't normally smoke more than 12 joints in a sitting. You can easily smoke many more cigarrettes too. Edit: made my point a little better.
  23.
Originally posted by Sushi For the record this is Cyko speaking. ^_^ These are just some of the things that have been going on in life about now. I know it is the norm for people around my age ( 13 ). But some of it is just hard to deal with. My parents are pressuring me to stay away from drugs and some people are telling me to do them. I have already expirimented with weed and I got caught. I have been grounded ever since.
You deserved to be grounded, don't get caught. It's that simple.
I have been going to a lot of parties with people doing drugs, and getting it ON! And while I haven't done it yet, I have done my share of "stuff". A few days ago my friend's mom walked in while she was supposed to be at work. He was having a semi-party. Nothing bad was going on, music was blaring and a bunch of people were there but that was it. Everybody scrambled out the back door and he came to school with a black eye the next day.
Maybe it's been a while since I was 13 but I don't remember people having sex in parties when I was 13, that's more of a 17 thing.
I mean, I love the whole party atmoshpere. But I don't want to get grounded again. Should I keep partying it up, or just be a loser and stay home alone all day?
If you're so desperate to go out and go to parties, go for it. Just don't ***** about the consequencs.
  24.
Originally posted by Valick ok I said there was 2 answers, but I never said the 2 answers were wrong and right. They were actually both wrong. So everyone that answered is wrong, the correct answer would of been to say nothing, because there is no correct answer to the question. (actually Lady Macaiodh you are right and cloricus I have no idea what your answer is so you should tell us if thats what your answer was) This riddle also teaches you something as well. It teaches you that you should be prepared for the worst.
You're overlooking the fact that the man was supposed to tell you the right way. So you were supposed to just stand there and he would all of a sudden tell you the answer? What a stupid riddle.
  25.
Originally posted by Valick I'll give you people a little while longer to try and figure it out then I will tell you.
Go ahead and answer it, it's obvious they don't understand they have two options and will soon be talking about how they'll use their telepathic power to bring a UFO to fly them to freedom.
