1. You're the reason why people would agree with restricting Muslim's rights, Chabichou. Everything I've read from you on this board gives me the impression that: A) You support any act against Israel or Israelies that hurts them B) You partially support (or fully) Osama Bin Laden (and imposters) agendas C) You jump for joy whenever the US "loses" (basically soldier dies/civilians die) Really how can anyone care about your opinion or other muslims rights when so many sound like you?
  2. I wrote "Check for ID" on the back of my credit card in the signature part two years ago and have only been asked for my ID once. Also the other day I recieved a check that sayed "Thank you for being a valued [bank] customer" and there was a check for 5 bucks. I didn't read the fine print that said by depositting the check it signs me up for a Credit Card Protection Agency which costs $100. Read everything.
  3.
You're not living the reality that they do, and as an observer, whose sources are not presented to them in their complete form due to the media, be wise. Be smart. Seek out the truth. Seek out the truth from both the Jews and Muslims who support what is right.
Touching words from the person quoting propoganda by a fundamentalist muslim newspaper from Egypt.
  4.
You didn't see blood huh? The image quality was pretty bad so you wouldn't be able to see it. If you read the article, you would know how it ended up being video taped. I looked through the website and I don't see anything Anti American. What the hell are you trying to prove? "Oh it's Egyptian, which is Arabic which MUST be anti-American". Sorry you need a better argument there.
They're anti-American when a headline on the front page is titled "Powell's (same old) swan song." It's also biased when nearly every story is blasting Israel. It's completely one sided. I'm sure you wouldn't know though because you've buried yourself so deep in you "Israel is the evil" idea. Also I don't think Al-Jazeera is that bad of a news source, but really you'd have to be blind not to notice the huge bias that site (ahram) has.
I am shocked why so many people are in such high support of a state that oppresses a minority group within it so badly.
They oppress them because Palestinians are allowing it. Do you know what the average American thinks of when he sees that another suicide bomber blew up some kids? He thinks of them as animals and doesn't care about the palestinian plight. You do this all to yourselves.
  5.
How many times do I have to say that I don't support suicide bombing attacks?!
It doesn't matter that you support them or not. There's only so much a government can tolerate from a neighboring nation before it loses it's cool. With suicide bombing happening twice a week at one point, you'd be naive to think that Israel would just say "OK let's just talk about it guys." It doesn't matter what the majority of Palestinians think or feel about the subject if they don't stop the minority from doing stupid ****. Also good job on quoting an Anti-American news source that "shows" a palestinian boy being killed (even though there's no blood anywhere).
  6.
I consider that extremely stupid. I don't believe you "choose" who you like, it just happens.
You'll find out how very wrong that is sooner or later (most like sooner). As for stupid statements, I used to have a friend that beat his girlfriend. I found out about this and talked to him about it. He said something along the lines of "it's ok she's a slut" or something like that. Unfortunately a week later I had to have a "talk" with him that ended our friendship.
  7.
Alrlight, I'm no geek or nerd or anything, but I was wondering if someone could give me a little help. You see, the girl I was talking about in kissing help, we're going out as of tonight. Tomorrow morning I'll see her at the busstop and maybe walk with her to the busstop. I also ride the bus with her. What do I do? I've had girlfriends, but I need help so I can actually be a good boyfriend this time. So girls and guys give me advice. Do I hold her hand or put my arm around her? Do I kiss her as soon as I see her? Please give me a general walkthrough of how to handle a girlfriend. (PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRITICISM STUFF THIS TIME) Thanks a lot. :smirk:
How about you ask her if she wants you to put your arm around her?
  8.
"Be yourself" is one of the most cocked up pieces of advice ever. Why? Because "yourself" is relative.
Wow really? Being yourself is relative? You are the Dr. Phil of dating!
For example, a guy acts something like you around a girl, and the girl likes him. "Aha! Being yourself is key to success with chicks!!!!" Now, some sociopath-rapist-mysogynist-pedophile-schizophrenic approaches a chick, tells her about his stamp collection, and scares her the hell away. "Oh damn. Girls must only like guys who are handsome, rich, and have nice cars. Hello mr. right hand."
So basically tricking a girl into getting in your bed is the way you should approach it? I bet your "love" (there is none of that with you probably) life is really fun. You can only keep up something like the act you want people to pull for so long. Girls will find out, they will find out everything you don't want them too. But by then you can hit it and forget it right?
The solution for the latter if he wants to be successful with chicks? To emulate the style of the first, which has been proven to work, for at least one woman anyway. Of course, all women are different, but certain tactics and approaches hold evident for the general mass, which is what the whole fastseduction - alpha male stuff is. So anyhow, the second guy starts to act like the first. Personality is not static, it can evolve or maybe change. Eventually, the second guy isn't portraying his creepy old self, but that of his new self, which is very much similar to the "self" of the first guy.
What you are giving people advice for is what most people call a "quick ****" That's the only way you can describe it. If anyone wants a real relationship, I wouldn't follow this guys advice too much. I'm really interested on knowing how old you are. You couldn't be older than 18, 19 tops. Thinking this thread over a little more, I think this is just some light trolling. If it is, good job sir. If not, it's funny..
  9.
So are a lot of men. Your point would be what?
Women must be tricked into a relationship. I don't want to sound like those annoying teenage sitcoms that say "just be yourself" but a lot of your advice is telling people to change themselves to try to attract a girl. This leaves to big problems, such as when you no longer want to act that way. I agree with keeping your skin clean so you aren't a crater face and working out is good, but thinking about the right thing to say, making yourself look busy, and how many times to call a girl is just stupid. Even if you do hook up with the girl she'll see right through you with her harsh judging eyes.
  10.
I'd agree with you on it's kick-arse-ness, but still...why U2 I wonder? Is there any particular reason they chose them?
Because U2 is a huge hippy/liberal band and a lot of people who are apple fans are big liberals also.
  11.
If it were as open and shut as you declare, it wouldn't have gotten as far as it already has. It will probably not get anywhere close to being passed, but it is still a viable amendment.[/font']
Not really, politicians always want to try to go as far as they can go.
  12.
Except for the fact that the bill does not in any way violate the constitution. Unless I'm terribly mistaken, it means a law cannot be up for judicial review only on the basis of its religious origin. I thought I said that already...[/font']
I haven't taken government in a while but I'm pretty sure that Congress can't limit the Supreme Court's power to declare bills unconstitutional. If anything it limits a power that is stated in the Constitution which would make it violate the constitution.
  13.
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c108:S.2082.IS: Doesn't this run against the separation of Church and State? )
And that's exactly why the bill will be declared unconstitutional.
  14.
Dearest Harry, I'm going to assume you're trying to be sarcastic here, as that's what you do: try to be sarcastic. But for the sake of argument, I'll treat your points as having some sort of serious and substantial basis for discussion. Considering it's been hailed as one of the most important elections held in the past Century, yes, I think it has some major significance in both the immediate future and in the distant future.
Dearest Siren, It appears I misinterpretted what you were saying (and looking back I don't know what I was thinking) and I agree with a few of your points. I still don't think this election is world turning events just yet though. Time will tell though.
  15.
And again, this is further adding to the "Schoolyard children" mentality that's doing nothing but hurting this country's structure.
Quit being such a drama queen over this election. I'm really sick of people going "Oh noes Bush is still in power he kill us all" mentality that everyone has. In the long run do you honestly think this election will have any significance in 10 years? It's not like anything truly monumental will happen because Bush is the President, or if Kerry was. Things will stay the same for most part. Iraq will continue to be instable no matter who's the President, same with most of the Middle East. We will still have a deficit. And the division of the nation will be like what it always has been, words. Bush won. People that wanted him to be President went out and showed it.
  16.
Personally, I think this is an attempt by a scientist to get rich and famous, as they always do. I mean, maybe it is just a midget? I mean, come on. They find a woman that's super small so they dub it a new species! It's ridiculous. It's a midget, simple. Plus, in ancient times, people were much shorter than modern people anyways. As always, Mana...
I think the term you're looking for a is a dwarf. Dwarfs are like short normal people. Midgets are a completely different game. Also the possibility of them not thinking this is laughable. Just because in ancient times they were shorter, doesn't mean 2+ feet shorter.
  17.
Perhaps a better study would be to inject the anti-depressants during a mouse's puberty? The brain developes at an ungodly rate for babies, and by the time you're a teenager, you are growing mentally, but not nearly to the same extent. If one is going to draw conclusions from experimentation, I think they need more parallels between the testing and the actual situation before they can come to any sort of scientific decision.
That's true. This is just an initial study so it's not written law. But let's face it, your brain changes all the way until early adult hood. If you're given prozac at the age of 13 for some teen angst thing and take it for 4 years, the affects will still be there.
  18. http://www.newscientist.com/news/news.jsp?id=ns99996579 Here's an interesting article I saw today. To give a brief summary of it, they give mice prozac since the day they're born (when the brain is developing) and once they're taken off they become depressed and mentally instable. This is probably due to the fact that the brain is used to such high levels of synaptic serotonin and when it's off the brain has no idea what it's supposed to do. Now what this means is that teenagers that are taking prozac now when they're going through puberty and brain development could become even more depressed later on, being basically dependent and hooked on this drug. True that this hasn't been tested on humans fully yet but it does add some (more to some people) doubt about whether it's good for teenagers to use it. To add some discussion to this, how many of teenagers here (12-16) know friends that take prozac or if you yourself take it?
  19.
If that's the case, then will Bush sue Em for his ne video since it offends Bush??
There's a difference between calling him stupid (or whatever eminem does) and saying he rapes children. I'm suprised Jackson hasn't gotten used to it by now. Sure it sounds pretty bad but he's been having these allegations for atleast 10 years now.
  20.
The game world is said to be larger than Morrowind's.
Unless something has changed, their last official statement was that it is smaller but more detailed. Which I kinda like since I won't have to walk 20 minutes to gather mushrooms or whatever nonsense they think up.
  21.
As for how harmful marijuana is, well, it IS more harmful than tobacco if you compare it by volume. But since people smoke a LOT more cigarettes than they do joints, in practicality marijuana is actually not as unhealthy for those that smoke it in place of cigarretes.
Have you ever seen someone who's smoked weed frequently? They lose their short term memory, it's hard for them to concentrate, and other things. That's what happened to one of my friends and he's still a worthless stoner several years after High School. As for this "let's legalize it because kids will stop" is one of the most naive things I've ever heard.
  22. I don't remember that much spamming during my brief stay in 2001. I do remember getting flamed for calling a girl a moron for lighting herself on fire.

    my girl...

I've read through this thread and I wasn't going to reply but I'm wondering something here. Is being bisexual a new fad? I find it hard to believe that people already discovered themselves as "bisexual" already when they're 20 or younger. So I'm going out on a limb here and assuming the person claiming this is doing it because she thinks she's cool like that. Now when I was growing up in the homophobic 90's this would immediately label people as evil lesbians and to be avoided or something like that. I never participated in that because I was too busy with my own problems (not really, just didn't care) but when did this "bisexual = cool" thing occur? As for the original poster, your girlfriend is a slut. If she has multiple boy friends and girlfriends, that makes her a slut. I mean really I don't know why so many people are freaking out over you calling her a slut. She is one. Dump her. Or have sex with her, either one is good.
  24. Having a password on something is incredibly suspicious. If I found a file on my computer that was password protected I'd want to find out what it is. Hide it in the windows folder labled "secsys.txt" or something intimidating like that. Assuming he knows nothing about computers.
  25. Well a sentence of life is really 50 years. Also I think we should get violent offenders another chance as long as it wasn't premeditated. If it was they'd get death penalty or life with no parole.
