2. I'll never grow out of SpongeBob. I've watched it since the first episode in... 2001? 2000? Somewhere around there. I even play my little cousin's PS2 SpongeBob games when I go to his house. He gets mad because I'll play it for hours.
3.
Only you can make yourself happy again. And relying on someone else to do it for you is a recipe for heartbreak.
x.x You're right. Still, I'm scared to see her again.
4.
How many weeks ago?
Two.. three weeks ago? Somewhere around there. But, Ai (her nickname that we had for her) had this weird way of getting me happy for a long period of time. I dunno. Maybe I just kinda thought that she could take away the depression of him.
5. And I'm back. I couldn't think of a better title for this thread, so I used my old one. I'm gonna start from the beginning. Almost a year ago, I dated a girl that I loved very much... and then I messed up our relationship because of my stupidity. She moved away soon after, and a friend of mine said that she might be coming back. I'm scared as heck. A friend of hers said that she still has feelings for me. That's kind of the problem. I want to see her and talk to her again, but I'm scared to hurt her again. I don't want to lead her on, but at the same time, I want our relationship to come back again. It's so confusing for me...
6.
Right now I'm listening to "God Diva," and, Lady Aura, I'm impressed that you can keep track of the melody well enough to hum it! Your description of classical/techno-creepy fits it better than I expected. That's exactly how I would describe it. Oh—and it just ended. I'm kind of disappointed that it didn't keep going on for longer.
I've listened to it many more times than I can count, and I've fallen asleep to it a few times. ^^; Maybe that's why. I'm currently learning the Japanese lyrics to it. I have about... half of the song memorized. Edit: If you like God Diva, you should listen to Junkyosha No Yubi. It's also by Akira Takarano. It also has that creepy techno sound to it.
7.
In my view, simply listen to what you enjoy and don't be too concerned about what others think.
All I did was state my opinion, and then I was going to drop back out of the conversation. Then the people brought up the emo topic, and that kinda hit a nerve for me.
8.
Well thats my problem >_< i dont know what i should do.
Sorry. >< I'm not much of a help. I'm horrible at giving out advice.
9. I agree with Raiha. Don't even start with drugs. I know a few druggies, and they're MESSED UP. If whoever this is claims to be your friend, he shouldn't even be trying so hard to get you to do drugs. Just one "no" should be enough and he should've left you alone after that. Also, this is a bit hard to follow for me, so I may have misread it. I apologize if my rambling above has nothing to do with the topic. Again, don't do drugs.
10. I'm currently reading The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton. It's actually really good, but there's a lot of words that confuse me, so I'm spending half the time looking them up on Microsoft Word's dictionary.
11. I really like the song God Diva by Akira Takarano. It's on the soundtrack for .hack//ROOTS, and it's on youtube if you're interested. I like it because it starts out in a very classical way, and then it gets creepy and techno-ish. It gets stuck in my head all the time, even though I don't know the words. I'll just hum the melody.
12. I greatly disagree with the title of my thread, because I know a lot of people who listen to My Chemical Romance and who aren't "emo." I was in an AOL chatroom a few minutes ago and they were talking about My Chemical Romance being just for "emo" kids who "cry themselves to sleep at night." (Oh, lots of quotation marks...) A girl was defending MCR and said that just because there's some screaming in a few MCR songs and the clothing they wear is black doesn't mean they're "emo." I simply said that I agreed with her, and somehow, it turned into a 10-against-2 people battle. According to the people we were going against, they said the following: "My Chemical Romance wants kids to cry themselves to sleep." "Their songs are only about death." "They're the reason for teen suicide." Oh, and this one made me very mad. "Everyone that listens to MCR cuts theirselves." Okay. I know some of you may agree, but that's wrong. Back in seventh grade, I did cut myself often and I listened to MCR. (I know: stupid thing to do. I've already gotten the 3-hour-long lectures about it.) But I've stopped hurting myself. My best friend listens to MCR and she has never cut herself on purpose. Although, I do have friends that cut and they're hard-core MCR fans. I think that saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" goes well here.
13. My friend is going to ComicCon in San Diego with a few of her other friends. I'm so jealous of her~ I'll probably start going to Cons when I have my own car so I won't have to listen to my parents complaining about taking me somewhere for a "stupid purpose." They don't like the fact that I'm an anime-junkie.
14.
Being uncomfortable with change is not unusual, especially when it comes to friends and family. This is especially true if someone changes for the worst (depending, of course, on how she changed).
I wouldn't say she changed for the worst. She seems happy with it, and she isn't doing drugs or anything like that. It's just like... Um, how do I explain this...? I opened the door, and thought in my mind, "Oh my gosh! Your hair! Your voice is prettier! You're... wearing make-up now... Oh wow..."
15. I'd rather be smart because I could use my brain-power to create a machine that makes everyone else uglier than me. Then, I will be both smart and beautiful. I have strange thoughts.
16. Yay! This looks fun! Waaay older brother: Kakashi (Naruto) - He kinda seems like the protective big brotherly type to me. Slightly older brother: Kiba (Wolf's Rain) - He probably smells like a dog, and I love the scent of dogs. Also seemingly protective. Little brother: Fumikazu (.hack// [BlackRose's little brother] - I want to help him out of the coma! Sister: BlackRose (.hack//Games, Another Birth) - She seems protective, and I need people to protect me because I can't fight at all. Pet: Eevee (Pokemon) - My favorite Pokemon out of all of them. It's extremely cute, and I miss pretending I was one like I did when I was little. Aunt: Helba (.hack//Games, Another Birth, etc.) - Because she's awesome and she comes off as the aunty-type to me. Uncle: Urahara (Bleach) - He reminds me of my real uncle from my dad's side, but it would be more awesome because he'd be all anime-y. Cousin: Shino (.hack//ROOTS, G.U.) - She's pretty, has a great personality, and she seems trustworthy. So of course I want her as a cousin. Boyfriend: Kankuro (Naruto) - Yes. I have a crush on him. I have had one for like... ever. Don't judge. He's actually pretty cute without the hat and make-up. Good friend: Sohma Yuki (Fruits Basket) - I want a rat as a good friend. I could just hug him and have a pet rat to feed to my Eevee.
17.
First, I'd just like to say that I am extremely impressed with your maturity level and your careful thought over the situation, already.
Really? I thought I was going about this whole thing rather childishly. I even went to eating ice-cream and crying for three hours straight. Not as if eating a lot of ice-cream is bad for me. Actually, I need it. I'm as skinny as a toothpick.
18. I had a dream back when I was a hard-core Naruto fan. I was walking around my old elementary school campus, hand-in-hand with Kankuro. >///> I still have a bit of a crush on him...
19.
Change is normal.
You're right. Getting used to it should be normal, too. That makes me... not normal, although I'm trying.
20.
What really matters is that you guys are still friends and that's the most important thing.
Yeah. She knows that I get those "you're forgetting me" moments, so she tends to make sure to call or message me a lot when that happens. I think I'm the kind of person that is scared of change.
21. Yesterday, my best friend that I've known since second grade paid me a surprise visit yesterday. I haven't seen her since November of 2006, because she moved to California. When I opened the door and saw her, I literally looked at her and closed the door, and then I started crying. She changed A LOT. It made me a little sad because she isn't so innocent-looking anymore. But it was nice to see her. She ended up spending the night at my house, and we listened to my .hack//ROOTS soundtrack almost all night. Still, I wished she didn't make the big changes. I miss the way she, and our friendship, used to be.
22.
But it took me six years to learn!
I think I learned my lesson the first time, hopefully. He's also been trying to make me jealous by posting pictures ofhim and his new girlfriend kissing on his myspace. I cried for a few hours, honestly, but I just don't care for either of them anymore. He really wasn't worth my time and tears.
23. I remember watching my parents watching it. I didn't understand any show other than the Disney Channel at the time, so I had no idea what it was about. Oh, and I remember feeling sad for the people that were crying.
24.
You went and made it so I can't send you PMs! >>
Oops. My bad. Thanks for doing what you did, though.
25. Oh, I would've cried if my dad told me something like that. And then I would refuse to speak to him until he could convince me that he was lying. I never see any famous people in Nevada, except for at concerts.
