I most certainly did not... and no offense taken. I meant it as more of an ironic sense of things. That ***** is glad for the deaths of thousands of people? Because of her prayers? I can't stand people like her. They make me wretch. And seethe with anger. THOUSANDS are missing or dead. And she's happy that her god did that? Nowhere is it said that the Japanese are atheists. In fact, If I'm not mistaken, the majority of the Japanese are Christian or Buddist, right? Buddism was around LONG before Christ. She really should get a grip on the reality of things.

Another fire breaks out in reactor 4 at Fukushima. Three explosions, two fires.... Things do not bode well. It almost seems as if God himself wants to teach humanity a lesson.

Tahlia dreamed restlessly, her memories of the night she was brutally murdered replaying over and over in her mind. She awoke with a scream, and it took a moment to realize she was in her room at the hotel. Rayne opened the door to her room, and observed her hard, heavy breathing. "Are you alright?" "The six..." Tahlia growled. "I'll kill them... I'll destroy all of them!" "I see. Memories..." Rayne sighed. "Well, I'm not one to say anything about a thirst for vengeance, but we do have a mission. Meet in the living room in an hour." "Fine." Tahlia took a deep breath, and stood to move towards the bathroom to take a shower. Thankfully, each room had its own bathroom. Living with the others, it would have a bit more of a hassle to share a bathroom with so many people. Tahlia removed her bedclothes and turned on the shower. She let it run for a minute before stepping in. Cold showers were never all that thrilling. When she stepped in, she caught whiff of her own scent, however faint it was. She lifted a lock of her auburn hair to her nose and sniffed it. "I smell shikabane..." she said, and smiled sadly. "It should be no surprise... after all, what am I?" She laughed, her cheery voice laced with a sorrow eminating from her heart and soul. She finished her shower and dressed in her typical outfit, a simple yet flattering dress. She placed her holster on her thighs and then her guns were loaded and placed in them. She walked out into the living room, and sat to listen to whatever Rayne had to say. He waited until everyone had the chance to enter and make themselves comfortable, except for the angel Ken. She noted he wasn't there, but once the others had taken their seats, he spoke. "Kun Osaki has been staying in a nearby condo, on the top floor. Other than that, I have no idea as to what she's capable of. Killing people, naturally. But..." Rayne closed his eyes and crossed his arms. "We have the chance to observe, before we take her on. We have only seven days to learn as much as we can about her, know her weaknesses and then destroy her before her concert. We have to protect the people that might be attending." Tahlia raised her hand, and Rayne's eyes shifted to her. "Yes?" "This pop singer has to be well guarded, it's not going to be easy observing her. We can assume those guarding her are also well armed to deal with any threats to their precious singer." "Very true, and an excellent point." Rayne pressed a button on the television, and it became clear he had hooked it up to his laptop. "We'll be working in shifts, and never for too long. We'll be using the vehicles we've managed to acquire over the years." Anue smiled. "Dibs on the camero." "And I'll take the convertible." Onidus smirked. "You don't even have a license, Tahlia." "Oh... I kinda forgot that... I'm riding in it at least." "It doesn't matter. We have our mission laid out before us." Holding up his hand, he had several straws in it. "There's two short straws here, and they will be the first to go scope out the singer."

Oh dear... the third explosion and it may have ruptured the containment vessel of the number 2 reactor.... EDIT: There's a fire in reactor 4 now as well. EDIT: The fire has been put out.

The whole ordeal is just terrible. I can only hope that all of this will work out with out another Chernobyl incident. All of that beauty and cultural artifacts within the vicinity of the plant... if those things are just left and abandoned to nature... It'd be a catastrophic loss. I can only imagine how much of a scar it would leave upon the land and its people. I truely hope there is no further mishap.

Tahlia sighed, and sat down on one of the couches to eat her cheeseburger and fries. She didn't really need to eat, being that she was dead, but she did get hungry from time to time. This particular burger Ren had helped her make, though it was Tahlia's recipe, one her own mother had made on occasion. The others were now making plates for themselves, and sitting around the living room to eat. "So who made this?" Rayne asked. "It's delicious." "It was a group effort." "True, but only so the hotel didn't get destroyed." Anue quipped. Tahlia giggled, and munched away on her burger. Ken was sitting next to her, watching the window Onidus had leaped out of. He took a bite of his burger, and immediately focused on it. "Delicious! Angel Burger truly is the best decription!" Tahlia simply smiled. "See, how can a monster make something so tasty?" She went back to her burger, happy with the compliment. Ken ate his burger ravenously, like he hadn't eaten in days. "Ken, I really must apologize for Onidus. He can be... hard headed, to say the least." "And his fur clogs the shower drains." Tahlia joked. Rayne shot her a pointed glance, and his eyes shimmered red for a second. Tahlia hushed, and she went back to eating. Anue watched with keen interest, and Ren munched away as well. "Onidus... doesn't seem to much care for me." "And I don't blame him, you aren't exactly being the friendliest person either." Rayne looked out the window out at the sky, his expression sad. "It does not do that we hate each other, we have to work together in order to save more lives. I'll be telling Onidus this as well. Will you try to at least be more civil?" "I will, as you ask." Smiling, Tahlia finished her burger, and was now working on her seasoned fries. They were yummy, though Tahlia was quickly losing her appetite. "I think I'm going to go for a walk after I change clothes and see if I can find Onidus. I'll be back later." "Watch yourself, we never know what's nearby." Rayne replied. --------------------- Tahlia walked the streets, now dressed in a rather tight fitting dress and a long jacket. She wondered where Onidus might be, though if he wanted to be found, she would eventually. The sounds of music could be heard from down the street, and she follwed them to a record store. Apparently, Kun Osaki was making a comeback. Tahlia hadn't heard anything about her in years, though it seemed she hadn't aged much in the five years she hadn't been in the public limelight. Five years... And now she was making comeback. Her new album was already number one on the pop charts. Judging from the music blasting from the store as well as the many, many posters of Kun on the walls it her album playing. Tahlia listened in for a moment, though... something just didn't appeal to her about it. Tahlia could remember listening to her older albums and loving them. But... there just wasn't something there anymore, that spark it once held. Sighing, Tahlia moved on, looking everywhere before finally coming to a park to sit in. Memories of playing in a park similar to this as a kid flashed in her mind, and she sat down on a bench to thing to herself.

Discuss The Edge of Hell: The Purveying Darkness
ExcelExcel replied to Inuyasha Fandom's topic in Theater
I call dibs on the last one... whatever it is. I also have a question. For those of us playing as shikabane, what kind of time limit do we have before we become monsters? -
Tahlia began firing once more into the monster, knowing fully well that shikabane never go down easy. She aimed for the head, planning on taking out the brain. She fired as it was distracted, blasting holes into its flesh, though failing to take it out. This did succeed in getting its attention, and it came running at her. Tahlia was still recovering from her earlier wound to her chest, but she wasn't at all crippled by it. "Come on!" Tahlia fired away, dodging its blows, and jumping up into the air to deliver a debilitating kick to its head. Any human that would have been hit by it would have instantly been killed, but Tahlia wasn't fighting a human. The shikabane reeled, but wasn't down. Tahlia came down on it, wrapping her legs around one of its arms and twisted with all her strength, causing the cold, dead bones to snap, and the flesh to rip apart. It roared, and Tahlia's heart panged with grief. Despite this, she didn't miss a beat and fire away more rounds into its head. It now stood there, stunned from the many bullets and now the loss of its arm. It stumbled foreward, and fell face first into the dirt, crushing the jungle gym. Tahlia straightened up, her recovering wounds plain for the world to see, and her ample bussom exposed, showing off the shredded remains of it as it regenerated. Her clothing was in tatters, though, she seems to pay no heed to it. Her stance was defiant, poised, and ready as she brought her guns up and reloaded them. Her breast finished regenerating, and she aimed her pistols once more, one at eliza, and one at the huge monster before her. Her eyes filled with tears as she prepared herself to kill the monsters. "I'm so sorry, little ones. Maybe I can ask forgiveness one day." It was then she unleashed a rain of lead and hell, and the shikabane of Eliza was shredded to pieces, as was the shikabane of the other two. The shikabane of Itsuki and Steven separated, and they tried to flee. But with Ren's hair suddenly coming in to bind Steven, it was no match for the team's onslaught. Ken launched several arrows, obliterating it. Onidus leapt in, and crushed Itsuki body as Rayne fired at her head. Anue slowly stood, placing her scythe back within her hair. She limped to the group, though it was obvious she hated what they'd had to do. Tahlia collapsed to her knees, and began to sob uncontrollably. She'd had no choice; they'd had no choice. The children were at peace now, wasn't that enough? If so, why did Tahlia's heart still feel like it was ripping itself apart? Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder, and looked up, startled. Rayne was kneeling above her, his eyes filled with blood instead of tears. They dripped down his cheeks, and he nodded, his unspoken words clear as day. He knew what she was feeling. She nodded back to him, and stood, though she felt little better. By this time, her body had completely regenerated, though her breasts were fully exposed from the condition her clothing was in. She knew her body was hot stuff, though she also knew she was just dead flesh. All of her beauty was wasted now. "Feel special, I don't usually give people a peep show." she said, trying to make a joke to put everyone at ease with what had just been done. With that she turned to the new guy. "So... I guess I should thank you for helping us."

Tahlia rushed in after Rayne, though this was one time she didn't completely despise these shikabane. Often, the reason for a child to become a shikabane was a desire to simply stay in this world and keep on playing forever. But, even still, they are monsters. Regardless, there was a job to do. Itsuki lunged at her, running on it's hands, her bloated head screeching at the top of her lungs. She had no legs, only a jagged spine that ended in a bony spike. Flipping over, she lunged at Tahlia, and she wasn't fast enough to dodge. Crying out in pain, Tahlia dropped to her knees as Itsuki began to wrench herself from Tahlia's body and claw at her face. Blood squirted everywhere, she'd been pierced through completely just under her ribcage. Tahlia grabbed Itsuki and threw her away, slamming her into the plastic slide and breaking it. Instantly Itsuki was up again and charging Tahlia. Her wound spattered more blood on the rain soaked grass, though already she was healing up. Itsuki screeched, and pointed her spinal spike at Tahlia again. She ducked, though felt the spike and claws scrape against her face. Skidding to a stop, Itsuki began to chant again. "We're gonna play!" "Playtime's over!" Tahlia shouted, and withdrew her dual pistols from the holsters under her skirt. Itsuki charged, leaping with her claws stretched. Tahlia dodged, but her skirt ripped all the way to the hem thanks to the razor sharp claws of the shikabane. "I just bought this!" she cried, and began shooting again. By this point, all that remained of her would appeared to be a deep cut and blood all around the wound. Aiming as the shikabane jumped at her again, she shot it in the shoulder, and it squealed like a demonic pig. Itsuki rolled around on the ground, shreiking. "I'm sorry, little one. I'll apologize to you eventually... when we meet in the world beyond." Tahlia rolled to the side as the child reared up and charged at her again, this time shredding her top along the stomach. "It's too fast... I can't get a good shot off!" Tahlia cried. "Then try harder!" Rayne shouted back at her, busy with Steven. "Easy for you to say!" she retorted. Tahlia dodged to the side, and pistol whipped the shikabane as it pierced her flesh once more, this time just to the left of her heart. Crying out again, she smacked the shikabane with her pistol over and over while it twisted and writhed its tail into her, ripping her lung apart. Finally, she was able to aim at it, and shot through the monster's arm, infact shooting it off. IT yanked away, and turned to run away. "Ren! Get it!" Tahlia yelled.

Name: Tahlia Rensford Age: 18 at time of death, 4 years have passed since. Race: Shikabane Human Form: Second form: Personality: Confident and always smiling, Tahlia seems like a normal girl at first glance. In a fight, she fears nothing, and will take risks that would normally get someone killed. Her obsession, her regret... Her attachment to this world lies in the fact she has to save people and help them, as she couldn't do for her family. She is filled with filled with a deep hatred torwards all shikabane, and that hate is the reason she fights. What she tells no one, however, is her fear of just how much time she actually has before becoming just another monster. She only hopes that she is able to kill those who killed her first. Weapons: Dual .45 pistols Curse: Tahlia's curse ironically what keeps her from succumbing to becoming just another monster. By despising all other shikabane, and believing she can help people even though she's dead, she is able to keep her humanity and keep fighting with her human form. By drawing on the power of the void of death, she is able to regenerate almost infinitely, and at a truly astounding rate. When her curse fully manifests, she is terrifying to behold. History: Tahlia was a normal high school girl, who liked boys, anime, and vanilla ice cream. She lived in an apartment complex near her school, and was content with life until that fateful spring day on which she would exhale her last breath as one of the living. It was on that day that she and her family were attacked by a group of monsters, what she would eventually come to know as shikabane. In fact, the entire apartment complex was. Tahlia watched as her mother and father were brutally murdered, and then her little brother. She heard her sisters dragged away, and then they too killed. Last of all, Tahlia, she felt her legs broken, then her arms, and then her chest impaled and her heart destroyed. It was with her dying, rasping breath as her blood pooled around her, that she saw the terrified expressions on her family's faces as their bodies were ripped apart even more and set ablaze. It was then, she felt that anger, that hate that kept her from staying dead. She arose that night, her body naked though fully restored. All around her, she could see the burned remains of the apartments and the people who lived in them. Nothing remained unscarred. Everything has been annihilated. She knew then she had to find those who killed her, and destroy them.
Sooo... High fevers at early hours of the morning accompanied by aches and nausea? According to my mother, that's still prime school-attending condition.
wow... your mom seems like a slave driver....

we can always hunt down the old thread and repost them.

And just because 'Don't ask, Don't tell' has been repealled, doesn't mean it's already in effect.

After being finished with the swing you have hanging on your living room ceiling, remember to put it away. Otherwise, when mommy comes over you'll have some interesting comments and a very awkward conversation about safe sex. Also, keep in mind your mother might ask to borrow it.

Okay... post complete. sorry it's so short, guys.

NEVER, under any circumstances, throw a party the night before you're supposed to have relatives visit. Your grandmother WILL walk in to your flooded, party favor and booze bottle strewn apartment as you're trying to figure out what the hell happened, why you have a tweety bird tattoo, and when the hell your tongue got peirced in the course of the events of the previous night.

RPG Band of the Blood Moon 2: Sins of the Father
ExcelExcel replied to Drizzt Do'urden's topic in Theater
Anya was still perplexed by Dunan's mood, and she couldn't figure out what he meant by her 'ability' either. Just what had she been doing in the pyramid? Why had she known everything about what was going on? Just what WAS going on? Flexing her arm, she smacked another human out of her way. He went sailing through a window, the glass raining down on some of the other humans. Dunan and Dawner were fighting their way through a crowd, though it was a deep, gutteral roar that made them all stop to see just what the creature was. A massive, rotting hulk of a hippo came barreling at them, trampling over cars, railings, and people. Anya gasped, realizing just what it was, and narrowly dodged out of its way before it came rampaging at the group. Dunan and Dawner had rolled to the side, and they looked at her, knowing they had to take this thing down before any other innocent people were hurt by it. "Dawner! Know anything about this? What's its weakness?" Anya yelled, rushing at the undead carcas. -
Yeah... I agree. But, I say it would be a shame to just let this story remain unfinished.
