Like others have said, the bevel is far too think, and the image is really flat. There is really nothing wrong with either of those except that they are put together. o-O It just looks very sloppy. What I would recommend is setting the "metallic" part aside for a moment, and then creating some kind of slightly one or two pixeled beveled frame around the image. From there you can work the original metallic part back into it. Of course, lower the bevel to match the frame. This way, it does not just looke like the metal part put on top of the image. This way, the metal part frames the image and branches off a bit. The metal part you have now will have something to connect to. That is just my idea...

One problem. It should be "Congratulations!", not "Congratulation!". Otherwise, it is great. :)

Anime The Official Dragonball GT Dub Thread.
PiroMunkie replied to Jinzouningen17's topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by REVENGE2 Question: Is Dragonball: Grand Tournement really worth watching?
I do not know about the actual question, but, just to let you know, "GT" stands for "Grand Tour". Not "Grand Tournament". -
Originally posted by Sara *is jealous* That sounds [and looks] like so much fun!
Lol, it really was a lot of fun. An even better part about it is that the audience gets to participate. What we did was have placemats out on all of the tables that were set up that had the cast list on it and the story behind the musical and other stuff, but it also had an area on it that listed all of the rooms, weapons, and suspects. Then, with every clue that was given throughout the performance, the people could mark down their thought and stuff. The musical has multiple endings for each suspect in case you did not know. ^_~ I had a lot of fun as Plum. To begin with, he is the one who ties the noose in the rope, and I already knew how to do that. One time for practice I took some rope I had here at home, tied a noose in the end of it, and wore it as a tie. ^^ That, and, since Plum is hit on by Mrs. White and hits on the Detective, I gave him this "ladies man" kind of air. If I were coming on stage with a group of people, then I would make sure to have a girl on one arm. :p It was funny. Kind of ironic considering my motto for the play was "No love for the Plum" (it was because he did not end up with a girl in the end).
Meanwhile, our latest attempt at a musical production was cancled due to half the cast not showing up to preactice.
:drunk: ... Smack them. Smack them all. There is no excuse for such actions!
Originally posted by Sara What's really great is when you get close enough to performance that everyone knows thier lines, but not so close you have to stress about it. You can do the funnest stuff. We went through an 45-55 minute act in less than ten minutes once, speed-talking [and running around like idiots trying to do the blocking.]
Hehe, that is always fun. What we usually do is the first and last words of our lines. :p It makes people have to think quick, especially if they have big monologues. o-O Songs get a bit funky... Anyway, I do not have much of anything too noteworthy, lol. I have only been in four that I can recall: West Side Story: Did this one in eigth grade. I was Bernardo. The overall performance was good I suppose, but, being that this was a Catholic grade school, they cut out the fight scene. The one I was looking forward to the most. Stupid principal... *mumbles off* Jospeh and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: I was one of the brothers, and an extra in several other scenes (yay for rapid costume changes!). I was going to be in their Spring play, but I missed one practice and the director threatened me with my role, so I just said forget it. It was not too important anyway; not really worth my time. Clue: Hop forth to junior year! Last fall at some of my friends' all-girl school. Of course, they need guys for certain parts, so I was bribed with Mountain Dew to audition. I got the part of Professor Plum. I was probably the best guy in that one ^^, at least when it came to vocal talent. Mr. Green might have competed with acting stuff. His character had more humor than mine, and he is just a funny guy. So it fit... but he forgot most of his monologue on the final night. :p Mrs. Peacock had to remind him. The Matchmaker: This one is currently still in the making. We are about half-way through practices. We perform on the 28th, 29th, and 30th this month. I play Ambrose Kemper. Not the biggest part in the world, but I guess he will have to do, lol. It was just a bit of a step down from Plum. I, again, was bribed into this one. ^_~ The following attachment is a picture of the main characters from clue. From left to right: Professor Plum, Ms. Boddy, Miss Scarlet, Mrs. White, Colonel Mustard (in the back), Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green (in the back), and the piano player (may not seem like muchof a lead role, but is quite critical to the musical ;)).

The picture itself is not bad, but the quality of the file it pretty low. It could probably use a border, too. :)

It is not chaotic enough... at all. o.O The squares give off a sense of order, and the rest just looks like someone threw water onto a painting. Overall, it okay, but for the supposed "theme", it is too orderly and too smooth.

All the people who don't go to Church....
PiroMunkie replied to eleanor's topic in General Discussion
What thoughts or words come to mind when someone says, "Church" Well, it is usually something along the line of "Ugh..." followed by me hitting part of my body (usually my head) against something nice and solid. I do not have any real thoughts that come to mind, just an overall emotion of disgust and bitterness. Give two reasons why you don't go to church. The first would obviously be because I am not a religious person. So I have no obligation. Secondly, if I did believe in a god, or many, I would have a better chance of finding him/her/them somewhere outside a small, confined building. The idea of a church is just really hypocritical too. In most, if not all, religions, the god(s) are usually all like, "Be humble!", but then they go along the lines of, "Oh! But build me a big temple and worship me because I am great!". I would much rather not be involved with something like that. What qualities do you think a church needs to be a "good" church? Heh "good church", quite the oxymoron you have there. ;) I cannot really imagine a "good" church, so I cannot really tell you. *shrugs* -
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve I think I just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading this thread....
Heh, there actually is a bit of a more "profound" point to it once the symbolism comes in. My friend did this same thing to me today, but she was a little unsure of what exactly each thing meant. But yeah...
Originally posted by DuoMax i think i might be bisexual
So? Why does it matter? It really does not. If you are bi, you are bi; if you are not, you are not. You do not just wake up one day and say, "I think I am going to be bisexual. ^^!". It is just the way your are. Spend time thinking about it, weighing both sides of the scale; but really, there is nothing wrong with either outcome. And I prefer the term "questionably straight". ;)

I know I have done this at some point in my life... >> I think it was in grade school, though. Cube: 1,000 feet³ ; It is made of mirrors (one covering each side) ; Its color is going to depend on what is around it ; Standing in the sand. Ladder: Made of ash, and leaning against the cube. Horse: A little children's toy horse; it rocks back and forth. It is dead center on the top of the cube. *multiplies himself twice* Look! I am cubed! :p

Lol, she looks sunburned a bit. ^^; It is nice enough, though. Eh, I was bored, and decided to give it my own half-assed effort... >> [edit] I decided I did not like the yellow and blue on the wings. So I changed it to give the picture a bit more balance... >>

[morale]*dies*[/morale] Bleh, I was supposed to make a chibi banner for her (she dropped many hints), I just had the worst luck with finding any pictures... Damn you and your ... whatever it was... I would probably shake an angry fist, but I do not think I can lift my hand that high right now... It looks nice. Though, it does not really take much effort to crop someone else work, slap a border on it, and call it a banner/avatar. Eh, but who am I to talk? It is obviously more than I was able to do... The composition could be better, too. I am such a failure. *drops head to desk as he posts this*

1. DragonBall Z ended a long tim ago. :p Heh, actually, I have missed a majority of the Buu Saga because Toonami took it off the Midnight Run (cheap bastards). So, for me, I still have a while for it to "end". I do not have the money to buy the episodes, nor do I have the preferred connection to download them. 2. I am not totally understanding your question here... there have been many martial arts tournaments, and I doubt I have seen the necessary episodes to give you some accurate response. From my knowledge, if my guess as to what you are talking about is correct, they never really tell you what happens; but I could be wrong.
Originally posted by Sara :shifty: *quietly kills Piro* ...What?!
Meheh. Phase two complete! ^^ 1. Your best friend has discovered that you have never seen (or didn't like) his/her favorite movie. After a playful fight, he or she agrees to drop the subject if you just say you like it.. Fight 'til the death! :p Of course, if my friend was a girl, I would not fight at all. I would just really sarcastically tell them that I "like" it.
Originally posted by S@bretooth Here is a question for those like me who swear they would never take revenge... What if Osama bin laden came door knocking at your house, looking for asylum (spelling), and you had a gun, would the temptation bet great enough for you to shoot the bastard, or would you hand him in to the police or FBI?
Pfft, never underestimate the power of apathy. I would invite him in for a pizza or something. Since I also have a gun in this scenario, we could compare marksmanship, heh. If he is polite enough to actually knock on the door and not just blow it down, then he might be worthwhile company. It might be interesting to here things he has to say as well. One can get tired of hearing what America thinks. :p For those of you that think I am joking, I am not. Now if he had a gun too, and there was clear and present danger I would shoot him; but merely out of self-defense.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve USE CONDOMS!
Or just do not have sex until you are married and ready... o-O Condoms are not 100% fool-proof. Only about 60%-70%. There are better forms of birth control. The only method which is garunteed to not get you pregnant is abstinence. ^.~ (assuming one is not raped) My support is to go through with the pregnancy. Though, if she is a small girl it is possible to take some phsyical damage from the birth. That would be quite unfortunate.

I personally agree with Charles. Revenge will only leave you satisfied for so long, but it does not solve anything. Someone could very easily take revenge on you for taking revenge on them, and then you would take revenge on them for taking revenge on you for taking revenge on them. It would just be a vicious cycle getting worse and worse each time until one of them could finally just say, "Screw it, it takes a bigger person to just walk away." It is better to get things stopped before they even start, because it is only going to get harder and harder to walk away the deeper you go into it.

Yes, obi-wan, Android #8 was in DragonBall. If you have seen that at all, Gokou referred to him as "Eighter". The big guy that helped Gokou through Muscle Tower.

Yes, that is true. Though, there is really no point to this topic other than to bring that to attention. >> For this, I am sure the staff at theOtaku.com is thankful.
