Coma White by Marilyn Manson. The song is actually quite a bit deeper than it seems on the surface, which might be why I'm attracted to it. I'd be happy to post my take on it, but I don't think this is the right thread... And Mitch, nothing can sometimes be the best music. COMA WHITE Something is cold and blank behind her smile She's standing on an overpass In her miracle mile (coma): "You were from a perfect world A world that threw me away today Today to run away" A pill to make you numb A pill to make you dumb A pill to make you anybody else But all the drugs in this world Won't save her from herself Her mouth was an empty cut And she was waiting to fall Just bleeding like a polaroid that Lost all her dolls (coma): "You were from a perfect world A world that threw me away today Today to run away" A pill to make you numb A pill to make you dumb

If you're not equipped to handle the extreme sexual content of the folowing post, skip it. There is no great plot developement and I'm sure you've all read worse anyway. --- He smiled and kissed the side of her neck again, glancing at her upstreached leg. Allen- "You're amazing." She smiled and unbuttoned his pants, brushing his erection with the top of her hand. The fabric of his uniform was smooth. And it slid off the body like silk. Clad only in black cotton boxers and a white tanktop, he moved down her body, unfastening the various pieces of clothing and slipping them off with liquid grace. His tanktop came off sometime during this practice. He came up to kiss her again, wearing only his boxers and she a black pair of panties. She grabbed his neck, pulling herslf upward and bit him roughly. He broke out in gooseflesh and groaned with pleasure, cupping her breasts with his hands and squeezing the nipples gently. His kissed covered her shoulders with lusty glee. She shed her panties, and he his boxers. They both repositioned, Satell allowing him to edge inside of her. She groaned with pleasure and he grunted with effort, attempting to keep the act going as long as humanly possible. Their bodies glistened with sweat, both moving with eachother sensualy and savagely. Her hands wrapped around his neck, and his around her. He quickened his pace, feeling her body respond immediately. He edged deeper, she spread her legs wider. ??? On the bridge, a light suddenly came on. A power surge had erupted in the engine circuts, seemingly repairing them. ??? They layed there, entwined once again, breathing eachothers air and savoring the smell of their sex. He kissed her on the nose, glancing momentarily at the cloc on the wall. It said 5:27am. He smiled and closed his eyes. Allen- "Let's catch a bit more sleep before the ship wakes us up at six thirty." Satell- "That's a good idea." She yawned and close her own eyes.

If everyone would kindly contiue as if Ms. Rockers post never happened, it would be a good thing. If you don't know what I'm taking about, it means she followed my 'advice' and deleted it. And if you're readng this, Ms. Rocker, delete that piece of shit and pay more attention. ---------- Allen pulled away, aroused but in control. Allen- "Satell... You aren't in any condition. You know that." She smiled at him and lifted up the side of her shirt, showing him the five or six hour old bandage. He pointed. "See. No condition." She peeled off the bandage to show a scab that looked like it had been there for nearly a week. The skin underneath a broken off section was pink and new, perfectly repaired. "Wha..." She crawled on top of him, pressing a finger to his lips to silence him. Satell- "The guys on Earth gave all of us an injection before we left, right? Apparenlt, it hastens our ability to repair ourselves." She smiled and kissed him. Allen- "That would mean Sam is doing good too. We'll have a pilot back." She propped herself up on one elbow and looked at him, immitating being annoyed. Satell- "You have me on top of you and all you can think about is getting your pilot back. How dare you." He smiled and rolled on top of her. Allen- "I'm sure I can think of a few different things."

Bet you thought this was some kind of depression thread or something. Actually, the blackness I'm talking about is burnt food. And the inside is the oven. It's strange how thread ideas come to you sometimes. I'm sitting here in a houseful of smoke while my parents argue about whos fault it was that the Scalloped Potatoes burned. So, what kind of dinners have burned in your house. What was the damage, if any. What dish was it. How bad was the smoke, on a scale from accidently inhaling a blown out canlde to New York City after a 120degree summer day when the smog is as thick as the **** flowing into Lake Michigan. And I don't mean to offend anyone that has had their house burn down from a flamming fowl or a platter of charred cookies.

He had layed there, sleeping soundly for almost four hours before the door to his room had opened. His eyes shot open and he turned, squinting into the flourescent glow the corridor gave off. Allen- "Who is it," he mumbled sleepily. No answer came, the figure only walked slowly into the room and shut the door. The glow dissapeared and his eyes attempted to re-adjust to the darkness. A familiar shape stood over him. "Satell?" Satell- "Yeah. It's me." His sleep cleared a little. Allen- "What are you doing out of the medical bay? You sould be resting Van's car-" She put a finger up to his lips and kissed him on the cheek, sitting on the side of the bed. Satell- "I couldn't sleep well. And Van was nice enough to let me come here until my bandages needed changing." She dropped her hand and kissed him on the mouth. "Are you going to make a fuss?" Her eyes twinkled in the extremely low light. Allen- "No." She layed down next to him and pulled the blanket up tight. They entwined their arms and legs around eachother, drifting towards sleep. "Satell?" Satell- "Hmmm?" Her eyes were half closed and her breathing slowing. Allen- "Don't leave me." She smiled and edged a little closer to him. Satell- "I won't. And you don't leave me." He kissed her temple and hugged her close. Allen- "I won't." Within ten minutes they were both asleep, breathing rhythmically and deep in eachothers arms.

I see two surprises for me Mr. Outcast. Being honored as an Otakuboards Elite and a mention of my RPG in a signature. I'm extremely happy and honored. ;) --- Allen walked into the room slightly worried. Allen- "Hey Van... I can't find S-" The pilot was sitting in a chair, tipping it back slightly and waving at the captain. He cursed under his breath and poured himself a cup of coffee. "Dammit Sam... Tell someone next time you leave the medical bay." He smiled and spread his hands. Sam- "I told all these people when I got here. You just happened to be tryin to find me." He grinned and rubbed his bandages. The captain smiled in spite of himself. "See! He can smile!" Sam definitly was good at getting rid of stress. Allen took a sip of his coffee and poured it down the drain. He needed to sleep. Even if it was a few hours. He had nodded off in the company of Satell, but that was no more than half an hour. And coffee wasn't going to help him with that. Tex- "Anyway... The explosives that killed Vincent were only supposed to explode when the timer wound down, or when they were detonated. The timer wasn't set, the casing still read the default '99:99'. Either they were triggered in the explosion or they were defective." Kenneth- "Or the Event Horizon detonated them." Every head in the room turned to look at the new arrival to the conversation. Allen- "Welcome back Mr Rales. I was getting worried. We've already had two injuries and one death." Kenneth's face fell slightly. Kenneth- "Who died?" Tex- "Vincent..." She frowned, remembering his last seconds umong the living. Kenneth shook his head. Kenneth- "Captain, I'm going to request one more time. Please turn this ship back... I don't want to die and I'm sure none of these people do either. I'm sure Vincent didn't..." Allen's eyes turned cold. His grey stare beat down on Kenneth. Allen- "Number one, we can't leave until our solar panels recharge the batteries that will support us during our stasis. Two, I wouldn't turn back now anyway. As long as we are careful, we won't have anything to worry abo-" Kenneth- "That goddamned ship killed Vincent!" Allen stood quickly and knocked over his chair, striding across the room and looking into the Security Officers eyes, only inches away from his face. Habitually, Kenneth straightened up like he would for a seargent in the military. Allen- "We have no proof of that." He spoke quietly. "The bombs could have been defective. They could have been detonated by the meteorite shower. For all we know, Vincent could have accidently set them off. You are out of line. And if you do it again, I will personally feed you to that ship." He leaned closer. "Are we clear." He didn't say it as a question. Kenneth- "Yes..." Allen walked back to his chair. Allen- "Good. Now, you will go make your rounds. Make sure this ship is secure. That is your job, is it not?" Kenneth left without another word. "Now. I'm going to go to my quarters. I need to get a bit of sleep. Do not wake me up unless there is another drastic emergency." He scanned the room, before locking his eyes on Van. "Consult Van if you have a question. He's temporarily in command." Allen stood again, his resperation and heart rate had returned to normal after the little argument. He walked down the halls and into his small, cramped room. He layed down on the not quite comfortable bed and closed his eyes, feeling sleep creep over ihs body slowly. Before sleep took him, his thoughts drifted to next days events. It was about two in the morning. They still had one more day before they got to the Event Horizon. Hopefully repairs would be finished by then. He slept.

Day 29. One day away from the Event Horizon. Allen stepped into the Medical Bay, again. He couldn't stay away. He couldn't stay away, and he couldn't sleep. It was almost one in the morning. Everyone had went to their stations, manning weapons, the autopilot had control of the ship, and everyone else was either hurt or catching a bit of revitilizing sleep. He wasn't. Van walked up to him slowly and quietly. Van- "Her condition is stable. All of her wounds are healing at an exponential rate. I guess those new injections they gave all of us are doing really well after all. We moved Sam to a 'Quiet' room for recovery. I wanted to keep Satell here for observation for a while, but she should be ok real soon." Allen clapped his hand on Van's soulder and gave hima compassionate squeeze. Allen- "Thankyou Van. Is it possible... To... Leave me alone with her?" He gave the Captain a smile. Van- "She's in no condition for any kind of... Rough activity. But yes, as long as you don't exert her you can be alone." He smiled and left. Allen walked over to Satell, lifting the bandages and looking at the wound that looked like it had been there for a few weeks already. He replaced it and recovered her with the blanket. Satell- "Allen?" He was startled slightly. When she spoke her eyes didn't open. She kept them closed. Allen- "Yeah, it's me. How're you doing?" She smiled and took the hand that was stroking her hair. Satell- "I'm a little cold. And this bed isn't very comfortable." He smiled and grabbed another blanket from the cabinet. Allen lifted Satell from the medical bed and took her over to the couch in Van's office. He sat down, Satell positioning herself so she was half on him and half on the couch. Allen layed the blanket over them and began stroking her hair again. She was sleeping within ten minutes, and he was nodding off. Van walked into the medical bay, had a heart stopping moment before he realized where the two were, and smiled. The two were sleeping soundly on his couch. After checking Satells stats again, he left.

Van- "Captain, she's not responding to anything. Even though lungs repair themselves fast, she needs blood to do it. I can't get a good vein..." He trailed off. Allen watched the breath whisper in and out of Satells partially open mouth. This had been exactly why he didn't want her on this mission... He had known the risks. He had known the previous mission inside and out. Allen- "I can't lose her Van... Do whatever you have to." The doctor nodded and retreated to a back room. Allen moved to Sattel's head and kissed the corner of her cool mouth. "Don't leave me..." Van came back with an extremely long needle and hooked it up to the IV machine with accuracy that can only come from years of experiance. Van- "Captain. This is going to cause her a lot of pain. If you want to leav-" Allen- "I'm not going anywhere Mr Ambrose. Do what you need to save her." He nodded again and carefully slid the needle into her collerbone and beneath her remaining lung. Her face contorted slightly, but she didn't jerk. He slipped the needle into her aorta and began the transfusion. Slowly, color began to retun to her face. Warmth came back to her skin. And her breathing came down from ragged gasps to a more normal rate. Her eyes fluttered for a moment and opened. Allen smiled and kissed her full on the mouth. When he pulled away, tears dripped down his face. There were small drops of water on Satell's face aswell. Van carefully brought the incredibly thin needle out, droppin git in the biohazard can. Allen- "Don't do that to me anymore..." She smiled and wrapped his hand in hers. Satell- "I'll try not to."

Allen strode into the cockpit and immediatey rushed over to the unconcious Sam. Allen- "How's Sam?" He was fine. Wounded. Concussed. But alive. He walked over to Tex. "Arthur is trying to repair the thrusters. I hope he's alright. As for the others, I have no idea where they are." He walked over to a terminal and punched up a few different screens. A short conversation passed between Satell and Tex, but Allen could care less. The damage was pretty bad. Thrusters offline. A few dozen punctures that were repaired and holding. One that was still depressurizing the ship. He clicked his radio over to Rubens carrier signal. Allen- "Ruben? Ruben come in. This is Captain Chubbs." Static came back to him. Ruben- "Captain? Thank God. I was beginning to think I was lost." Allen- "I'm glad to hear you're not. Now there's a puncture about twenty feet port of you. Plug it and go round up the rest of the crew. I want everyone at their stations in less than twenty minutes. Clear?" Ruben- "Crystal." He removed his radio and set it down. Rubbing his head he walked over to Satell. Allen- "Are you ok?"

Allen- "Dammit! Everyone said we were clear for at least three months... Not even space trash... How the hell could something this big get through their satellites?" The color was beginning to rise back into his face, and along with it a sence of anger. The echoes were reverberating through the corridors of the medium sized ship. He switched off the PA and ran to an emergency locker. He grabbed a couple 'Caulk Guns' and threw them to people as they passed to door. The guns worked like chemical patches. You hooked onto the punctured part and pumped a compound into the hole. When the compound hit the frigid cold of space, it froze solid, sealing the hole and synthesizing all the compounds of the ships hull making a perfect seal. They had an extremely good chance of getting hit. The ship was nearly three hundred feet long, one hundred feet wide, and seventy feet high. Hopefully the Pilot was as good as he boasted he was.

He returned Havens stare with equal coldness. Allen- "Yes. That's everyone. Now all of you will listen to my portion of the briefing." He looked around. "Ms. Megelani, would you kindly save your nail care needs for a different time? This is rather important." She gave him a curt little smile and slid her nail file into a pocket. "Thankyou." Arthur- "Captain?" Allen looked at him and nodded. "Now, we all know what's been told to the public. We also know it's bullshit. Some of us," he looked at Satell, "probably know better than others... But how about you lay it all face up for us." Allen- "My pleasure Mr. Sayed." He looked around at everyone again. "Everything told to you and the public was bullshit, like Sayed here said. What really happened is as follows. The Lewis and Clark docked with the Event Horizon. After finding the crew either slaughtered or missing, it became a salvage mission. They prepped the Event Horizon for travel, but never finished. Some of the crew was killed by Dr. William Weir. Some were believed to be killed by the ship itself. The Black Box of the Lewis and Clark to earth before the detection of Graviton emission was detected, meaning the Event Horizons engine portion dissapeared after the Lewis and Clark was destroyed. Also meaning we have a gap. No one really knows anything about that mission but what the BB and the remaining crew members told. What they did find out was that the Event Horizon had traveled to something that resembled hell." A few people looked doubtful. "I know it sounds impossible, but that's what the BB and the crew said. The crew, a more reliable source on this specific subject, said something about strange scans. The BB confirms this. The scans detected the ship as a living being. Which means it was somehow alive and attempting to save itself, think of it as an immune system of sorts. Dr. Weir was never accounted for. All reports say he was MIA, but the crew says he was 'absorbed' by the ship. Turned into part of it and possibly a representative of the hell dimension. This is all extremely confidential and you are the first to hear it except maybe a handful of people. Our mission is to recover this ship. We are more prepared this time. A better ship. A better crew. Weapons. Medicinal preperations. And," he took a breath, "we also have the power of God." Everyones eyes widened. "I personally don't believe in Him, but the Roman Catholic Church took the time to bless every single thing on this ship. They thought it might help. And who knows, we might get there and find the ship completely abandoned with no funky shit going on. But we might find exactly what the other crew did. We won't know until we get th-" An alarm blared. Vincent- "What the fuck..." Red lights flashed on. Allen ran to the nearest control panel and typed in a few commands. The color ran out of his face. "What?!" Allen- "We have a meteorite shower in-comming." He eyed Sam. "This is your time to redeem yourself you cocky little shit. Get your ass to the cockpit! I don't feel like dying before this fucking mission starts!" Sam was up before he started his second sentence. "Everyone else! Get some fucking emergency repair kits! We might have some work on our hands..."

1) The answer to this one is a definate yes. I also BMX bike, but I do more of an offroad thing. 2) I bike through all the offroad paths near my house and eventually come to a gaggle of dirt jumps. Nothing really major, and I've hurt myself more times than I've made any good jumps, but ncie jumps none the less. PS, I always wear a helmet. 3) Even though wonderful hobbies like knife collecting are dangerous, most parents now a days have the sence to keep track of stuff like this. When kids go out and skateboard/BMX/snowboard/rollerblade/etc the parents really can't keep tabs on them at all. That's my three cents.

Entwined in a deep kiss, the two made their way into an empty room. It looked more or less like a closet of sorts, but the setting didn't truely matter. She broke the kiss, allowing him to nip her neck and dart his tounge along her collerbone, purring like a predator on the prowl. She slid her shirt off easily and set it down on a random box. Allen removed his own with ease, Satell raking his chest and leaving long white marks down his military toned body. His shirt landed next to hers and they embraced again, kissing with feriosity only love combined with lust can produce. She bit the tender skin of his jawbone carefully and longingly. Nearly a month in stasis pods tend to make you a little... Well, horny. He kissed her again and traveled downwards, his tounge darting over her bare chest, flicking her nipples to full erection. She gasped and ran her hands through his hair, roughly. They burned for eachother. Like two flames aching to join into one harmonious pillar of light. But it wasn't yet the time. He stood and kissed her fully on the mouth, his tounge dancing with hers. He stepped back, both of them breathing rather hard, and handed her the shirt she had discarded. Allen- "It's best we get going... We have about-" He glanced at his watch. "A minute." She smiled and kissed him again. Satell- "Until later then." She slipped on he shirt and waked out of the door, her color high. He smiled and put his own shirt back on, grabbing the suitcase he had dropped outside the door and walking toward the mess hall.

Allen watched the man go, a little red in the face from yelling. He picked up his cup of coffee and downed the last. Checking his watch he walked out of the mess hall and into one of the many corridors. There were a few things that needed to be picked up from his room before the briefing started in fifteen minutes. Mostly some film crystals and audio recordings. The door to his quarters hissed open and he stepped inside. His suitcase, black and unremarkable, stood open just the way he had left it. He quickly put the papers in and everything else he needed. The audio files. The film crystals and such. The suitcase snapped shut. He turned around to find Satell standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorjam. Satell- "Well that was rude how you just tromped off." He gave her a half smile. "You know, there aren't all that many quarters on this ship of yours. I was thinking I might have to stay in here. With you." His smile widened. Allen- "I was thinking the same thing, but right now we have to get to the briefing." She sighed exasperatedly and walked out, Allen behind her. His door slid closed. He stopped at the nearest compad and pressed the hail button. Three tones came out of every speaker. "This is Captain Chubb. The briefing for the mission will start in approximately five minutes. I expect everyone to be there." HE released the button and continued down the hall, his arm around Satell's waist and hers around his.

Allen- "I think it might." He walked over to her, taking the can of coffee and setting it on the tabletop. He wrapped his arms around the womans waist and kissed her. She pulled him closer and hung her arms around his neck. The captain broke the kiss he started reluctantly. "I thought you weren't coming. Actually, I thought I asked you not to come." She gave him a quick kiss on the neck and vaulted off the table, and out of his embrace. Satell- "I know, but USAF asked me right after you. They also offered me a small fortune." He nodded, 8.5 million Federation cedits wasn't a bad deal no matter what they wanted for it. Allen- "Well why didn't I see you in a pod?" She smiled again and slipped back against his body. Satell- "That's my secret darling." He smiled and closed the door to the mess hall.

OOC: I'm dissapointed to not see everyone that signed up participating. You'll all be getting a PM. --- Quite an annoying person the pilot was. Even after reading over his personel file Allen decided he didn't like him. He was obnoxious. He was an antagonist. But most of all, he had a smart mouth. A smart mouth wasn't something that fit well on a ship led by Captain Allen Chubbs. He sat up on his bed and skimmed over the information USAF had given him. Of course he had been briefed of the previous Event Horizon mission before volunteering, but these went far more indepth. The Lewis and Clark had a sort of 'Black Box' feature that, if the ship happened to be destroyed, the data module would make it's way to Earth. What they had found was extraordinary. But that was for the briefing. Allen walked from his room to the mess hall, hoping to get a bit of coffee and take a stroll around his ship, the USAF Bladerunner. It was the fastest and most heavily shielded ship in the fleet. Weapons weren't all that important when you could weather an assault from two hundred Stinger missles. The doors to the mess hall slid open to reveal blackness. Allens eyes grew wide and his heart skipped a beat. The lights flickered on, illuminating a large room with a circular metal table and sevral white plastic chairs. He cursed himself for being startled at such a thing as darkness when they were surrounded by it on all sides. The room had that sterile smell that often came with new things. Though his ship wasn't new. Just remodeled. Given a few upgrades for this mission, you could say. He rummaged around for a coffee pot and came up emptyhanded. Worry set in and he began to rip things from the cabinets. Sam- "Problem captain?" And right on cue was the pilot. He was leaning on the doorway, a smirk on his face. Allen- "Didn't I tell you to drive?" He smiled and pulled a compu-pad from under one arm. Sam- "I am. Complements of USAF." He waved the pad. A glint of metal shone from the backs of one of cabinets. Allen ripped it out and grinned. It was a stovetop coffee maker. "You know, I bet they did that on purpose just to mess with you." Allen- "You would know, right?" Sam made a little bow. Sam- "But of course, captain." He strolled down the hallway chuckling to himself. Allen filled the pot with water and set it on the electric stove. He stopped, breath catchign in his chest. Allen- "Where's the coffee..."

Please see the Black Horizon recruitment thread for a listing of those that have made it. If you show up here uninvited, I may have to roughly hand you over to the nearest moderator. A ship. Metal. Plastics. Glass. At the most basic level, atoms. The Event Horizon. Over fifty years ago a great man, Dr. Weir, pioneered an experimental engine capable of bending time and space and therefore sending a ship anywhere in the blink of an eye... by harnessing a manmade black hole and ripping a hole in our dimension. The ship disappeared near Neptune. Seven years later it came back, transmitting a scrambled message. The ship Lewis and Clark and their rescue crew were sent on a mission to rescue the crew and salvage the ship. After arriving they found the crew massacred. The ship seemed to have opened a gateway, or ripped a gateway, into a dimension of pure chaos. It went in a ship. It came out as a living thing. Dr. Weir aided in the deaths of many crewmembers of the Lewis and Clark, eventually succumbing and becoming one with the Event Horizon. Ina last valiant gesture, Captain Miller destroyed part of the ship, saving the remaining members of his crew. Miller and Weir, along with the portion of the Event Horizon that housed the engine core, were sent to what could only have been the hell dimension. Now it's the present. The year 2101. Earth Tactical has picked up a distress signal from none other than the Event Horizon. A team has been assembled. A ship has been given. It's time to finish the mission and bring that ship home. --- "The crew is dead. Your ship killed them." --- The stasis pods whined shut. Everyone had barely enough time to mutter a 'hi' before they were shoved into the pods for the month long journey. With their newly enhanced ion engines, they would be pushing about 50 Gs. Plenty of force to easily liquify one's body. The pods were filled with stasis gel. Their bloodstream was pumped full of sedatives. They all went to sleep. --- "I am home." --- ===--Mission Day 27. Stasis Pods Open. Crew Revival Begin. Injecting Stage One Recesitating Fluid.--=== --- Allen slowly got out of his pod. His head ached and the cold metal of the floor wasn't very enjoyable either. He slipped slowly over to the showers and began rinsing the gel off of his body, dropping the tight and extremely uncomfortable stasis clothing. The stuff, in his opinion, felt like snot. And being submersed in it for almost a month tended to make you feel slimy when you got out. A few others were getting up as well. He toweled off and slipped a pair of boxers on. Another thing he hated about the pods, you were submersed virtually naked. It got into every crevase of your body. He shuddered as he removed a string from his navel and flung it to the floor. He cleared his throat seeing that everyone was either up, or awake. More of the latter. Allen- "For those of you that don't know, I am Captain Allen Chubb. We have a mission to do here, obviously. Hopefully you all know the gist of it. There will be a briefing in the mess hall in one hour. Be ready by then." He looked everyone over, studying them. Perhaps this mission would go better than the last. The Lewis and clark had lost the remaining parts of the Event Horizon. The official cause of disappearance was, once again, reactor overload. Three months ago, the part of the ship that had made it back also vanished. They were to recover the entire thing. It would not be easy. The damn reactor better not explode again.

Ok, so far everyone's in. Vegeta rocker, you need to changed your assingment. Kinetic changed his about ten minutes before you posted, so he had first choice. --- Name: Allen Chubb Age: 36 Gender: Male Assignment: Captain Personality: Usually an extremely compassionate person. Under pressure he often makes the decison that will better his crew. Pleasent to be around. A mediator. Has intimidation on his side when he wants to use it. Appearance: About six foot. Pale grey eyes. Light brown hair nearing towards blonde. A well toned body. Usually dressed in black jeans and a black tshirt or tanktop. Short Bio: Allen was raised in a highly military family. After highschool he was pushed by his father into the service and took a loving towards space ships. He used to be a security officer on a lunar patrol ship, but moved up the ranks after a series of lucky breaks. He became a captain at the age of thirty two and was ordered to lead the mission to the Event Horizon three years later. It has taken nearly a year to get to the ship. The stasis pods will let them out soon, nearly two days away from the ship.

Johanas has listened to Rubens story silently. When it ended he took the chance to try and help him. Johanas- "...Are you sleeping well?" Everyone turned to him and looked with a questioning eye. Ruben- "Ummm... No, not really. When I do, it's usually short sleep. Dreamless." Johanas chuckled slightly. "What?" Johanas- "Unknown to most people is that there isn't a sleep in the world that is dreamless. Everyone dreams. It's just that sometimes your mind chooses to supress the dreams, for whatever reason. Maybe your mind thinks, subconciously that it would be harmful to you. But everytime you sleep, you dream." He focused his glowing eyes on Ruben. "I might be able to help you make sence of your dreams, and therefore your problem. The only thing that I can think of that might give me problems are the An-Khef." He saw everyones puzzled expressions. Everyone, that is, except for the demon. He was smirking slightly. "I'm sure sai-Beial could do a much better explanation than I could," he recieved an icy look from Belial, completely contradictory to the smirk that was there before, "but I guess mine will do fine. Johanas- "The An-Khef are demons of the deep mind. They sometimes manifest themselves in dreams, making them nightmares. Less often, you see them in the real world. People that are insane or have two people in one mind have been touched outwardly by the An-Khef. The demons failed to be restrained in the inner parts of the mind. Everyones subconcious stronghold." He took a deep breath looing from one face to another before turning back to Ruben. "I'm equipped to handle the An-Khef if I encounter them, but I'm worried if they 'touch' you. The risk is well worth taking to find the root of your problem, but it's your decision. Ryn does not force his practices on people."

OOC: Jesus... Please put more effort into your posts. I don't want to have to refer you to a moderator. And nothing is better than a two-line post. IC: Lorn stood there, dumbfounded. The minute he walked in the door Kalipso had dashed upstairs, Shay had ran somewhere in the house, and Michelle and Ryin had jumped outside. Lorn- "Once again, I'm clueless. Elektra... Would you mind?" She shook her head. Elektra- "Not at all Lorn. Kalpso lost her diary. I found it. I returned it. I didn't read it. Shay came down and got this wierd look-" Lorn- "Yeah... I felt something too..." Elektra- "-and bolted out of the room. Then Michelle and Ryin went out there." She thumbed towards the outside. He nodded, dwelling on the surge of... Something he had felt. He peeled off his damp running shoes and set them next to the door. He'd have to throw some baking soda in there before they began stinking... Lorn made his way into the kitchen, noticing someone had made coffee. He took a cup, thankfully, and sauntered upstairs. He needed a shower badly.
