1.
Originally posted by AJ2K1 4 Life K,..I hardly talk here, but I do talk..and I was just thinking about the Genesis thing.... Christians say God created the Universe and all in it in 6 days,..and then he rested... I don't know what Jewish people say...althought I assume it's the same as they beleieve in the Pentateuch, right? Muslims say God created the universe in 6 days as well. But he didn't rest after that. (We think it an insult to say that God needs to rest) Science though,...says it was created in millions and millions of years... I personally, believe in both science and religion, and try to find a solution 'therein' as my uncle'd say... so...I was wondering about your standpoints... 6 days,...or billions of years...? (btw, I have no clue on this whatsoever, but I think I'll stay on the '6 Days' side)
A'ight look, where does it say anywhere that God's 'day' is 24 hours? He is the very creator of our time, and 6 days could be anything; 6 minutes, 6 years, 600,000 years, etc. A day to us could be a blink of His eye. So if one day is one blink or whatever, imagine how long a day would be 'His' time. All in all, the universe etc etc. probably was created in millions and millions of years- to us. Time has no meaning when you're immortal, think about it. The whole 6 days thing was probably given for a small analogy of what really was, like after a couple-thousand-years segment He created this one thing; or one 'day'. And so on.
 2.
But i know God is real. What can i say?
Glad to know Zanza and I aren't the only ones here who think that :D heh, you can't say anything, it's all up to the individual what they choose. All you can do is just stick to what you know and not worry about what other people say....
 3. I haven't seen a whole lot of anime, but from what I have seen, these are my picks: Hotohori (Fushigi Yuugi)- I don't care about his narcissism, he has the right to be! I like his character tho, that stoic front when he's actually crumbling to pieces inside,... it makes me want to give him a big hug and tell him everything will be alright.... Tasuki (Fushigi Yuugi)- heh, my other half's favorite. I like the bad-boy persona, even though deep down he actually isn't bad; he just looks that way. And that's the way I like it, a guy can look as bad as he wants, but he's got to have a good heart. Trunks (duh)- yeah yeah, a lot of girls like DBZ 'cause of him, but I liked DBZ before he ever came into the scene (in terms of what was being shown on toonami), so :cross: . Anyway, why I like him is pretty self-explanitory; good looks, and a good character. I've seen some other animes with some good-looking guy characters, but in truth I can't think of 'em right now... oh well....
 4. eh, the whole topic is a little too... personal for me....
 5. oh my......... how um, interesting..... *assumes the fetal possition in a corner...*

 12. OKAY, to all those who are saying that there is no proof that God exists, and that without the proof it's false- prove that he doesn't exist.
All this from the man who was raised in a mormon household (godd**m cultists........)
I'm going to address this issue straightforward. I've read back a bit, and someone had the audacity to say that Mormons weren't Christian, simply because their beliefs were more 'radical' than his. What is a Christian- someone who believes in Jesus Christ. Now, if the the title of the denomination at hand is called The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints, it is pure logic to say that the Mormons believe in Jesus Christ, therefore making them CHRISTians. I don't recall ANYONE here having the authority to decide who is and is not a Christian because of personal differences. FURTHERMORE- how dare you call Mormons cultists? I don't know or care what kind of household you were raised in, but I will tell you this: I am and NEVER will be a cultist. How dare you insult me that way, because of your own lack of understanding and overabundance of ignorance? Your own judgements do not determine an entire denomination, and doing so demonstrates your close-mindedness. The Mormons were never cultists, and I challenge any and EVERYONE to counter this statement, as I have read and learned everything for myself concerning this matter, and I tell you this now: you will be proven wrong. I have proof, go ahead and throw any and all 'anti-Mormon' crap at me, I dare you......
 13.
Originally posted by No-Name on friday me and my friends were walkin back frum my house during lunch (weve got open campus at high school and i live right across the street) and as we were coming back, we heard this roar of chearing and yelling and a-woo-hoos. we ran to see wut was happenin and these girls were just tearin each other apart. they were clawin at each other and pullin each others her-it was brutal. then i cop came in and broke it up. high school sure is amazing(ly violent).
That is so stupid.... if I ever do get in a fight, I can promise you one thing- there wouldn't be any hair-pulling or clawing like a bunch of cats. If I'm going to actually expound my energy to violence, it's gonna be done right....
 14.
Originally posted by No-Name i like to breakdance. seriously. a lot of ppl try to bull$hit u and say that they can breakdance then u tell em to show u and they cant. i can only do like 3 or 4 moves tho. my best is my one-armed handstand and my second best is my windmill.
YES! *high-five* :D That makes five breakdancers I know of. I'd like to see a great revival of breakdancing, that is so cool to watch.

 17.
Originally posted by BabyGirl Ohh myyy! This is my sort of topic right here! Dancing, yes, it is my life. If you read my profile, you will see that it says so :D I love to dance  I've danced my whole life...ballet, jazz, modern, you name it...and of course there is booty dancing...something I specalize in...ahh yes, dancing  P.S. Billy Elliot was disturbing, and I couldn't understand what they were saying half of the time >_
 18. Never gotten into real fight before, which is rather weird considerin' I'm always punching my friends (um, guy friends, k) and wrestle an awful lot. I'm more playful-aggressive than I'm-gonna-tear-you-apart-cuz-I-need-anger-management. If someone were threatening anyone in my family, I'd fight (heh, dunno how successful I'd be). If someone were attacking me, you better believe I would throw everything I've got at 'em, I'm kind of paranoid about that around here, considering things that have been going on lately..... but no, no real fight for me.
 19. K, so I just finished watching Billy Elliot, and I got to remembering my old days of dancing myself..... and then I came here... and I got wonderin'...... who here dances? I don't mean ballet or tap necessarily, or if you you even have a particular style, but do you get enjoyment out of dancing?? Like nothing else in the world matters? I do. I want to learn swing dance sooooooooo friggin badly, it looks a ton of fun to me. Other than that, I just move however I feel, music is very powerful in me. heheeee, I go friggin nuts to blur, and yet I can waltz too, and everything in between. ......yyyyyyeah, so I guess I'll open up the thread to y'all now...:cross:
