eh, I'm not sure where I'd want to go................ what I don't get is all of you people wanting to go back to medieval times!! It wasn't just fighting dragons and sword fights and what you read in fairy-tail books. DO you have any [i]idea[/i] how filthy it was back then? The mere stench of just standing in the street would make you pass out, not to mention the fleas and lice and other unsanitary things in common life. Royalty really didn't live any better. I imagine those castles to be a massive prison, always dark and cold and dirty. *shudders*:drunk: And there is much more, um, 'information' about society and lifestyle in that period that's just...... appalling. (let's not get into torture) Well, if this kind of thing suits you,.... hey, more power to ya. *backs away slowly*

*rubs hands together* oh yeah, this is definately my type of thread. :love: okay, being a skeptic, I look for more than just a 'feeling'. You know how many times I've had a 'feeling' for someone? Know how long it lasted? Neither proved lasting; by any means. So I have to have more than just a butterfly-in-stomach, electric-shock-through-spine kind of feeling (yes, I'm demanding:demon: ). A feeling can go as quickly as it comes. I need something solid, reliable. Friendship usually outlasts anything, if it's a genuine one. I'm a complicated and rather difficult person to understand. But my friends take me the way I am and love me all the same. This element is a necessity- just calm, basic understanding and accepting of the good with the bad. I need a shoulder to cry on, or a gentle hug more than I need sweaty palms and a make-out partner. My ideal match would be someone who could be/give me both, with friendship being the cement of the relationship.

Well, no one is always one or the other. I myself am.... I guess generally an optimist. I've had to learn to become that way though, as I used to have clinical depression (chemical imbalance). Every so often, everyone gets depressed for one reason or another. The important part is learning to pull yourself up again, unless you like living in a confused gulf of self-imposed misery. Personally, it got old for me after a while...

Trust me, if I could find a guy I could be with for a long time, I'd risk it. But see, I'm not so fortunate. So I find the only way for me to deal is to at least dabble here and there with different people. At least I find out what qualities I like, and what things would get under my skin after a while. *sniffles* aw man, I just depressed myself. Nevermind! :demon: :angel:

OKay, so what are y'all's take on the whole deal? Who prefers casual dating, and who prefers a steady relationship? You can't relax or laugh a lot without the help of a plant? Sheesh, that's kinda sad bro. I personally think the smell of weed stinks. Blech, almost as bad as cigarette smoke (not trying to offend anyone, but I really hate those smells). I myself have never been officially 'high', I've never felt a need or a want to go do that, tho I've had many opportunities. It's not worth it, none of what has to do w/ getting high is, I've seen what it can do to people. But hey buddy it's your choice, do what you want.
