Originally posted by Queen Asuka That's exactly what made me start liking Snape. I ALWAYS disliked him until I saw that part in the movie because in the book they never really elaborate on it. But in the book Hermione accidently knocks Quirell over, which made him lose eye contact, which helped Harry out. And it also helps that he looks like Trent Reznor and you just expect him to start spouting out lyrics from NIN anytime...
Heck yeah!! I said it before the movie was ever released; they ought to get Trent Reznor to play Snape. Wouldn't he be like, perfect??! I do like the way Snape's voice sounded, though. Even if he didn't look enuff like Trent (I think there was room for improvement) he definately sounded the part. And you know, Quirrell was pretty good, too. Except he was too cute, I imagined Professor Quirrell to be more like a squirrel. lol. lessee........ oh yeah, and they aged prof. McGonagall(sp?) waaaaay too much. Dumbledore's beard is too frizzy- if they would just FIX THAT he'd be close to perfect. Dudley wasn't fat enough! And Malfoy needs to be paler and meaner, not just a brat. *whew* okay.... nuff fer now - heh, you know that'd be pretty funny. Snape's teaching Potions, then all of the sudden 'You are the perfect drug!' heh, that'd be hilarious if they were to ever do that. lol......................... shutting up
Originally posted by Queen Asuka The Chess game was my second favorite part, too. The look on Ron's face as he sacrificed himself was classic. He was totally adorable. And Hermione was really cute, too. But I just didn't like Harry Potter. And since I re-read the first book today, I noticed that the movie has more humorous undertones in it than the book does. The book is more SERIOUS than the movie. And the movie is also aimed to a more childish level, while the book actually makes the more mature reader think. I love the way you totally suspect Snape for everything, but then he ends up trying to help Potter out. And Anna, I totally agree...they left alot of important stuff out. They didnt' even name Hedwig for crying out loud...
Ack, you're right! good grief....... You know what? Snape is like, one of my favorite characters. That is so weird. I mean, I hated him the first and second book, but I started liking him more in like, the forth book, and for somereason, the movie topped it off for me. I think what did it, was when in the Quidditch match Ron & Hermione see Snape muddering the counter-curse. I think actually seeing Snape's true concern for Harry materialized in human-form kinda switched me over. And his character is so..... complicated. I mean there is SO MUCh that we (the readers) don't know about him yet. Okay, well I guess I'll get off my Snape trip for now.

I just got back from seeing it. It was pretty good. They left out some very important stuffs :cross: but other than that it was pretty good. Gawl those books friggin rule. To all you people who are just too stubborn, heh, your loss! Oh yeah, and the Quidditch match IS the best part of the movie. And the chess game was *better* than what I had imagined. So anyways, it was good.... I'd give it... 3 stars outta 5.

Hmm..... Bad drivers REALLY annoy me. Okay, for example, TWICE, just today- two idiots tried to cross over three lanes of traffic- and they didn't even have their blinkers on. What do people think those lights are there for?? Decorative purposes I suppose! sheesh...:flaming: I also hate IGNORANCE. Ah, so many examples to choose from...... I think I'll just leave it as is. One other thing that kind of .... irks me, if you will.... is when people refer and classify other people as 'normal' or 'weird'. Okay, just what do you descibe as normal?? Not like you? People who say they don't like normal people are doing the EXACT same thing people do when they say they don't like 'weird' people. It's still a stereotypical slander against someone who doesn't share your interests, mainstream or otherwise. Sorry, just had to get that out. QUIT JUDGING! gah.... okay *collects self* anyways........ I also dislike when people swear in every other sentence, and I dislike when people smoke around me (had to use my words carefully there). And I CAN'T STAND aggrivating, annoying, loud, obnoxious children. >< Nor the parents who don't shut them up!!! eeeeeeeee.... I need to go calm down......

Hmmm.... do I have boyfriend.... yes and no. It's more like a 'dating' thing, nothing 'official'. That's what ruins it all, by saying 'okay, let's have a steady relationship', you automatically put an expiration date on it, b/c it will run out sooner or later. I've been 'seeing' this dude for about a month and half now...... I'm quite proud b/c that's a long time for me!  :naughty:

Welllll, I haven't been on for a while!..... mystical Pan, good lord child you *are* cute! That's a pretty dress you had on. Piro your delay is making me impatient.... lol, I wanna see your pic! Anywho, I guess that's all for now...
Originally posted by Forest_Pixie i can't believe people think that i look like a mom!!!!!! man now i am all depressed.... are oyu guys saying that i look old??? is that it??? i'm only 16!!!! god dang it!!!!!!!!
Yes, you do look older than 16. It's not an insult saying you look like a mom, you just have an older look about you. :D

I don't really have a lot of secrets. I mean, I have things that I don't tell people, but, I dunno....... I'm more like the 'secret keeper'. I have more of other peoples' secrets than I do my own. I've never once told, so I guess that's why they keep coming...

I is cuuuuurious......... I must see pics..........:naughty: So,...... Piro........ you look like Trunks, eh? .......... postyourpicassoonashumanlypossible........ just to um, see if you're telling the truth..... :D   and (lol) kuja dear, I recommend you post ANY pic of yourself, cuz I'm starting to fall into the common notion around here that you're um, more than what you're admitting. lol, ... I want to see everyone's pic. I mean gah, if *I* of all people can post a pic of me :nervous: then YOU all should, too! 'Cause I said so...... nyeh. :cross:
Originally posted by PiroMunkie I'm pretty much the same way. I've only had one girlfriend in the past, and that didn't last long at all. So I took that relationship and learned from it, to help me figure out what I want in at least just a friend, that's a girl. Nowadays I find it easier to make friends with girls, in fact, I have more (girl) friends then I do guy friends. I don't like this Britney Spears 'im an easy whore' thing. It is revolting, I'm happier with her wearing pants a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. I don't need to see their whole body, the only thing I like to look at when it comes to girls is the face. That's where everything is, you can tell how one's feeling by looking at their emotion in their facial expression. I like to see their eyes, causes there's so much in there, so much that I don't even know. I only know them for who they are now, and I like them that way, so then I get interested in what has happened to them. How much and what kind of life experience has this person had? That's what I find the most interesting, that's where you can get into deeper and more meaningful conversations, and that's where you can make the connection. How much is this person like yourself? How much are you like this person? What can you learn from this person? What can this person learn from you? Where along the road in life did your separate paths begin to turn so that you would eventually meet at the intersection? And from there, what path will the both of you take from there, together? Will you just stay friends? Or will you decide to be more than that? Or will you start out as friends, and then decide to go further in your relationship? And when you've been that way for a while, where will you go next? This is what it's all about for me.
Dude, quit freaking me out!! I swear, that is EXACTLY how I think. You're a stalker, I know it! You're not from Omaha, you're walking around Georgia somewhere and reading my brain waves. :worried: weeeird....... :therock: hey... you think like me. ... Therefore you rule. Congradulations. :D
-
hehehee.... TMNT ruled. :D I don't classify/judge people by what their interests are...... heck, no one could catagorize me, b/c they find that I just don't fit the stereotype of anything. I RULE!! :smooch: j/k, I'm in a good mood.

Stand up for your convictions. I have to do it all the time. I'm 100% straight-edge, I'm quite familiar w/ standing my ground. It can be hard, but you become a stronger person. Some opinions, like beliefs and anything else you value, ought to be voiced when appropriate. And then some things you just have to let go..... you have to choose your battles wisely....

I don't think I have any major phobias........ although I have.... 'quirks', pet-peeves... For example, if you snore in your sleep, you better hope I never hear you, or you'd end up dead probably. Ever read "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Poe? know how the guy in the story killed the old man because there was something about his 'evil eye' that vexed him? That's like me and snoring. It sends me into a rage! My sister snores, and it's all I can do to not choke or smother her. Scary, eh? It's like something I can't control, I just get angry and want to just..... punch something, stop the noise at any cost! OKay, um,.... :drunk: moving right along... I also can't bring myself to touch dead things. Like in biology you have to dicect a worm/grasshopper/frog/fetal pig/sheep heart, whatever your schools do? I just can't do it. I mean, I love tearing things apart, and you'd think I'd have a field-day.... but, I guess it's a subliminal fear that it would come back to life right as I'm ripping off it's leg or something, and it'd start twitching or something...:drunk: :drunk: okay yeah I'm messed up,....... and I also suffer from post-paranoia from a reaccurring nightmare I had for 8 years. I'm a perfect picture of mental health!!! :excited: :naughty: :nervous:
Originally posted by Lotus Too bad, I have short fingers, so I am not very good with musical instrument.
That's why I gave up on guitar myself. My fingers are too short for bar chords. The only instrument I can really play is drums, you don't need long fingers for that. :D
Originally posted by Queen Asuka Anna, Ryan was one of the best guitar players I have ever witnessed. I really enjoyed hanging out with him. He could sing so well, too. I bet he's a big romantic. He sure does seem to have all the good stuff in him.... *sighs*
well, you're right until the romantic part. Even if he has it in him to be that way, he won't be for a looooooooooooong time. Trust me, there's some damage that's been done, and it's gonna take a loooooooooong time for him to 'heal'. I've persoanlly never seen him as romantic at all. But hey, I could be wrong. ?
Originally posted by Lotus Thanks for the compliment. My mother always said I'm ugly.
honey you are NOT ugly. I don't know why your mom has said that, but she is wrong. Don't let those kinds of words affect you.

ah yes, guys who play guitar........... *faints* I've heard guitar-playing since before I was born- literally. And I grew up to my dad and his various bands playing 'til 2:00 AM for more than half my life. Since then he's stopped playing alot, he still does 60's/70's accoustic songs, but nothing like it used to be.... *sniffles* But yeah, guitar players have major brownie points w/ me.
