[color=purple]With all her might, Celestia pointed her wand at the ceiling and drew an imaginary circle, which transformed into a portal. Asunan, Amarest, and Mereduin fell through it. Mereduin flinched at the sight of Morak, but Amarest and Asunan dashed towards him, swords out and ready. Mereduin stayed behind and tried to comfort Celestia. Riv tried to escape, but the glue prevented him from moving... Meanwhile, Toshi appeared out of nowhere. "Hey ladies, need some help?" he said as he took out his sword and dashed towards Morak. Morak took out a sword of fire and struck back. Meanwhile, Mereduin shot a fireball at Riv, burning the glue around him. Freed, Riv snuck up on Morak from behind, and within seconds, Morak was hit on the head by a swiftly swung Lemaria. "Celestia! Celestia! Please, say something! Anything!" Mereduin cried. She tried to wake Celestia up, but she would not move nor breathe. "Asunan!" "Yeah, what? I'm busy," Asunan whispered loudly. "Please, if you don't mind, Celestia's dying, and..." "And?" "Can you help?" "Ohhh... I don't have time for this, but I can't let anyone fall." And with that, Asunan prepared an arrow, chanting a prayer for Celestia and a curse for Morak as she did so. She shot the good arrow at Celestia's heart, healing her instantly. Celestia slowly got up... "Gotta... stop... Morak..." Celestia muttered as she got up. Asunan nodded to her, and they tried to think of a plan. Then, a miracle happened... Time stopped. Riv looked around, dumbfounded. "Did I do that?!" he asked himself out loud, confused. The others looked at him. "No," Toshi finally said. But Asunan and Celestia were talking frantically, trying to come up with a plan to stop Morak. "We'll only speak to each other telepathically so Morak can't hear us..." "We'll read his every move." "We have predicted his fall..." "There will be great sacrifice... and a miracle..." "My... uncle..." "Your what? Oh, you mean..." "LUCEUS!!" they both shouted. Strangely enough, an angel holding a rainbow sword appeared in the center of the temple. Everyone was astounded. "I have been sent here," Luceus announced in a loud and echoing voice, "to help you. Riv, Toshi, Asunan, Mereduin, Amarest, Celestia, Line... (Line appeared at that moment) My seven warriors, erm... (he looked at Celestia and shook his head) OK, [i]mostly[/i] warriors... Anyways, I have stopped time for you so that you may come up with a plan. Guys, this world will be saved, but I must face Morak alone. You all must leave." "No! I'm staying!" Toshi shouted. "There's no way I'm about to quit." "Yeah," said Riv. "With our combined forces, we'll never fall!" "You can help," Line added, "but you can't stop us." "We're on your side," Mereduin delared. "My sis is right," Celestia said with a smile. "With all our combined forces..." Amarest started, then looking at Asunan... "We will triumph!" Asunan announced. "GO!!!" everyone shouted in unison. Luceus smiled, giving them a "you are brave" look. Everyone looked at Morak, and time started again...[/color]

[color=darkred]Kalimon and Kerpymon headed over to the beach. Meanwhile, Clair was doing something... "I sense that Angel is coming. I must be alone." Clair got up and ran. Suddenly, she came to a portal, leading directly to the Shadow World. Clair paused, then entered the portal, which closed behind her. A shadow appeared: the shadow of Lucemon... "O my fallen lord Lucemon..." Clair chanted, "Rise!" A cloud of data appeared before her. "Lucemon, your data is as good as new. Let the ritual begin!" A portal appeared below the cloud of data. Soon, data from more fallen villains from long ago appeared: VenomMyotismon and Sakkakumon. She then said a little rhyme... "Sakkakumon, VenomMyotismon, hear my call! Let out your strength and rise above all! Evil falls, good rises again, Unless a new power is awakened within. Evil, conquer the Digidestined! Failure, heroes, out of the question! Data, possess a friendly soul, Take over the Digital World as a whole!" Sakkakumon and VenomMyotismon were brought to life! (Shouldn't Kalimon have done that?) The three Digimon flew out of the Shadow World and turned into energy balls. The orbs flew out and hit two Digimon: VenomMyotismon's sphere hit Kalimon, and Lucemon's hit Kerpymon. The third (Sakkakumon) hit Clair, who left the Shadow World. All three Digimon acquired new attacks: the attacks of the Digimon whose data was contained in the energy balls. The Digidestined all heard an explosion and knew there was something going wrong...[/color] :devil: Mwahahahaha! Evil will triumph! (sorry to offend you, Digidestined...)

[color=blue]"I'll play this Magic Card: Card Destruction! Now all players must discard their hands!" Marik shouted. Cyrus groaned; he had to discard Monster Reborn! But then he drew Time Wizard and Premature Burial, so it wasn't that bad. "And now," Marik continued, "I put this card face-down, and I set one monster in Defense Mode. My turn is over." "My turn," Amy declared. "I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your face-down card," she said to Marik. "And now," she announced, "I'll place a monster in defense mode as well. Then I end my turn." "And now,"Cyrus shouted, "I summon Celtic Guardian! Destroy Marik's face-down monster!" It was a Giant Soldier of Stone. "Ha-ha," Marik laughed. "You'll have to attack me with something else." "All right," Cyrus said, "Maha Vailo, attack... Fini's monster!" It was a Magician of Faith. "Uh-oh," Amy thought, "that means she can bring back Raigeki!" "Hahahahaha!" Fini laughed. "My magician's special affect allows me to bring back one magic card from my graveyard and return it to my hand. And I choose Raigeki! On my next turn, Cyrus, your Maha Vailo is done for!" Cyrus growled and ended his turn. "All right, Cyrus," Fini declared, "you know what I'm gonna do. Activate Raigeki! Destroy all of Amy's and Cyrus' monsters! Then I place two cards face-down and end my turn." "All right," Marik announced. "I summon Zombyra the Dark! Attack Cyrus directly!" Cyrus was down to 1100 life points. Zombyra the Dark lost 200 attack points, leaving it with 1900. "All right," Amy announced. "I summon Dark Elf! Then, I pay 1000 life points to have her attack Zombyra!" Marik was down to 4250 life points. "Watch this," Cyrus sneered. "I give up 800 life points to activate Premature Burial! I bring back Maha Vailo from the grave! And since this is an Equip Card, it gains 500 attack points! Then, I place one card face-down and summon Celtic Guardian! Celtic Guardian, attack Fini directly!" Fini then activated Mirror Force, but Cyrus smirked, activating Call of the Haunted. The Equip card caused Maha Vailo to have 2050 attack points again. Cyrus then ended his turn. Fini placed a monster in defense mode and ended her turn. She had a sudden vision that she was going to lose soon...[/color]

[color=purple]Celestia intended to use her powers to put the kingdom back together, but Asunan stopped her, insisting that she would save her energy for fighting Morak. Then something strange hapened: a portal opened beneath Celestia, who fell through it. Asunan freaked out. "Celestia! What's happening?" "I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye now," she said. She then floated down the portal gracefully. "I don't know if and when I'll return," she continued, "but I'll... I'll be OK, but at a sacrifice..." Her voice then drifted into silence. Asunan gasped and tried to jump in the portal after her, but she failed and fell on the ground. She then burst into tears. "Celestia's my friend, the best friend I ever had..." Then a vision came to her. "Morak. Morak's doing all this," she said out loud to the group. "Morak can choose who he wants to fight him, and he chose Celestia first. Celestia will be destroyed if someone doesn't help her now... unless she's willing to give it all she's got, I'm worried..." Mereduin and Amarest nodded and sobbed, also being good friends of Celestia. Mereduin suddenly broke into a bawl... "Don't worry, sister, you'll be OK! I believe in you! You can do it! Stop Morak!" Riv and Toku were pacing around. "I must stop Morak," they said in unison. They stood there, hoping another portal would appear and take them to Morak too..." Line sighed and looked at the sky, thinking about why Morak could have done such a terrible thing. Meanwhile, Celestia stood in a temple, facing Morak. "I WILL defeat you," she declared. "My powers never fail. I have seen the fate of this world. You will fall at the hands of fate." And with that, she chanted something underher breath, causing one of her arrows to light up intensely. Its light shone so beight theat Morak had to cover his good eye. (One of them had been blinded thanks to Asunan.) She then threw the arrow at Morak's other eye, successfully blinding him. But that did not stop Morak; he closed his eyes and remained quiet. Celestia did the same. "I hope you know," Morak finally said, "I can still hear you and pinpoint you that way." He listened closely with his exceptional hearing, and when he heard nothing, he dashed in the direction where Celestia originally was. "Well, it's time I stopped walking and started flying," Celestia said. Suddenly, another portal magically opened... "Morak!" someone shouted. It was Riv! The portal closed behind Riv, who stepped forward, confronting Morak, Lemaria out and ready.[/color]

[color=dark red]Clair said to Angel and Gypsymon, "I'm taking the fake Karanlik to Virtualmon. You two stay here, all right?" Then she thought, "Karanlik is acting strange, as I predicted. Now I predict he'll turn back into himself soon..." Then she led Karanlik to the Shadow World again, not looking at him and keeping her eyes closed the whole way. Karanlik tried to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen. She was somehow sort of mad at him. Meanwhile, Angel and Gypsymon were still in the mountains. Angel was watching Megadramon, and Gypsymon ran over to her to find out what she was doing. Megadramon suddenly landed in front of both of them... "I bet," he growled, "that you're a friend of Virtualmon, am I right? I saw your fight, and I was disapppointed when Clowmon had to stop it. I'm going to get her back... and then, I need to get Virtualmon back for what he did to me!" "What are you talking about?" Gypsymon asked. "Well," Megadramon continued in a booming voice, "That robotic freak held me as a stupid slave for so long that I became angry and decided to destroy him! Hey Angel, are you trying to stop me?" Angel thought a moment, deciding which side to go on. Now that Karanlik wasn't with him, and that the Digidestined were all far away, Angel would have been outnumbered, if it weren't for Megadramon. "I'm with you," she declared. "So, Megadramon, how did you break free of Virtualmon's control?" "Long story, better get going," Megadramon answered. And Angel rode on Megadramon, looking for the portal to the Shadow World. Gypsymon stood there, surprised. "Hmmm... I knew she'd convert..." she thought. "The nerve! I'll go try to find the Digidestined, one by one. How about the Kari girl first... Yes, she's the perfect target." And with that, she started to head over to the beach. To get to the beach, Gypsymon first had to go to the forest. There, she saw a battle between Birdramon and Lopmon. Suddenly... "Lopmon Digivolve to..." "...Turuiemon!!" "Gauntlet Claw!!" Turuiemon shouted. She rushed toward Birdramon and attacked. Birdramon winced and yelped in pain. Then she fell to the ground and De-Digivolved back to Biyomon. Gypsymon then came out, surprising Turuiemon, so that she De-Digivolved back to Lopmon. "Gypsymon! What are you doing here?" Lopmon said, startled. "I'm looking for the Digidestined. By the way, who are you? I've never met you before." "Oh I'm Lopmon," Lopmon answered. "But don't worry. I'm kind of on your side." "Heh. That's funny. Virtualmon never told me about you." "Who's Virtualmon?" "You mean you fight for the side of evil and you never heard of Virtualmon before?" "I don't work for him, if that's what you're trying to ask; I just hate humans." "Oh. And why was the Birdramon attacking you?" "Old friend." "Old enemy, you must mean..." "Yeah... We met when I was still a baby; she tried to eat me..." "That's terrible... Hey, mind if we get rid of her?" "Sounds good to me. But I don't have the heart. I prefer to destroy humans. You do it." "OK. Psywave!" Gypsymon declared. The attack hit Biyomon and turned her into data, which Gypsymon absorbed. "Well," she said, "I got rid of your 'old friend'. Now how'd you like to help me get rid of the Digidestined now?" "OK! At least that won't make me seem weak. Only problem is, I need help with Digivolveing past Champion..." "I'll transfer some of my energy to you. Here. Now let's both Digivolve!" "All right!" Lopmon exclaimed. "Gypsymon Digivlve to..." "Tarantillamon Digivolve to..." "Arukenimon Digivolve to..." "...Kalimon!!" "Lopmon Digivolve to..." "Turuiemon Digivolve to..." "Antylamon Digivolve to..." "...Kerpymon!!" Kalimon and Kerpymon then headed off in search of the Digidestined, hoping Clair would return soon too. OOC: In the signup, I said at the last minute that I was just going to be a ghost, but I'll still start with Mori being alive. It was a dark October night, and people were running around, giggling. One group of boys bassed by with mischievous looks on their faces. "Where are you going?" one of them asked. "To the movies," Mori's mom answered. "How about you?" she asked. "Oh, we just passed by the cemetary. It's on the way to the movie theater. You know, you really shouldn't pass by there. It'll give you the creeps, especially when it's nearing Halloween. I heard something bad's gonna happen that day, but we don't believe that, right?" "Right," the other two boys declared. Mom nodded, but Mori put her hand on her shoulder and shook her head. "I know that something will happen," she said. Then she whispered into the boy's ear, "I passed by here before, and I heard a ...voice... talking to me. It said something about a gathering, something about a group of lonely ghosts... I'm not a psychic or anything, I just know. And don't tell my mom, OK?" The boys nodded in agreement. When Mori and her mom got to the movie theater, the place was dark and deserted. Mom gasped in fear, muttering something like "cemetary's not cursed..." under her breath. "I don't believe in ghosts," she mumbled. "Or ghost stories. And I DEFINITELY don't believe in curses." "Nooooo, Mom," Mori thought. "There IS such a thing as ghosts, and I'm going to prove it one day." Then, out loud, she said, "Well it looks like this is our unlucky day. Come on, let's go home. If we're all going to die or something, we still have a week to enjoy our lives." Mom cast her a dirty look, and Mori looked away from her. Was her prediction right? Was there something funny about the 31st of October that made Mori and the three boys worried?[/color]

This monster's special effect allows me to return up to two monster on the field to the owner's hand. And I choose... Black Luster Soldier!" "WHAT?!" Marik shouted. "Unbelievable!" "Well, Penguin Soldier, attack Marik directly!" Marik was down to 7250 life points. "Your turn, Cyrus." Cyrus drew Monster Reborn. "He-ey," he thought, "this can come in handy!" "All right," he said out loud, "I place one card face-down and end my turn." "You have no monsters on the field," Fini stated. "Hysteric Fairy, attack Cyrus directly!" "Nope!" Cyrus declared. "Reveal Magic Cylinder!" Fini was down to 7200 life points. "Grrr..." Fini growled. She transformed herself into Dark Magician Girl. Amy and Cyrus let their spirits take over. "My turn," Marik announced. "I place one monster face-down and end my turn." "Cyber Jar," Amy thought. "Hmmm..." Any's turn. "I play Nobleman of Crossout!" she declared. "And I'm destroying your face-down monster!" she said to Marik. "Noooo!" Marik shouted. "Not my Cyber Jar!" "Then," Amy declared, "I'll switch my Penguin Soldier back into Defense Mode." Her turn was over. "I draw," Cyrus announced. He drew Maha Vailo. "And now," he declared, "I summon Maha Vailo! And I attach Malevolent Nuzzler, giving it a grand total of 2850 attack points, with its special effect. It gains 500 extra attack points for every equip card I play on it. Now attack Marik directly!" Marik was down to 4350 life points. "Now I place one card face-down and end my turn." "My turn," Fini declared. "I activate..." she said with a smirk, "...Raigeki! This card will destroy all of your side's monsters!" "Oh no you don't," Cyrus declared. "I activate Anti Raigeki! Now your fairy is destroyed!" "No!" Fini shouted. "Well then, I'll put this monster in Defense Mode and end my turn." "I can't believe we're losing! Unacceptable!" Marik thought. "No more Mr. Nice Guy. From now on, we're being as mean as we'll ever be!"[/color]

[color=dark red]Virtualmon was on the computer, trying to gather up new allies. Kalimon was practicing her attacks. Soon... "Clair?" asked Virtualmon. "I need you to go find Karanlik and Angel for me. And take Kalimon with you." Then he turned to Kalimon, who was right in the middle of an attack. "Kalimon, I need you to turn back into Gypsymon again, so that you don't look suspicious to anyone else. Now both of you, go." Clair and Kalimon nodded, and Kalimon turned back into Gypsymon. "Agreed," they said in unison. Karanlik and Angel were heading down the mountain. Clair and Gypsymon suddenly came out of a portal near them. Karanlik was taken by surprise, and Angel was later on as well. "Well, you two, what brings you here?" she asked. Karanlik turned away. "You're the last two I expect to see," he muttered, as if he was angry with Clair and Gypsymon. "Virtualmon sent us here, as you may already know," Clair explained. "After all, we're his only allies now..." "I have to ask you two a question. Why did you decide to be on Virtualmon's side? What did he do to help you?" Gypsymon paused, then started. "Ever since I was a little Dotmon, I was a happy little Digimon, with lots of friends and having the happiest time of my life with them. Those were the days... Then, there was one point when I Digivolved to Rookie and everyone else was still in their In-Training levels. Suddenly, this totally evil Digimon named... Flowamon, I think... interrupted us..." "Who were your friends?" Karanlik interrupted. "They were... um... I don't remember... there was... Pagumon, Yaamon, Kapurimon, DarkViximon, Waxmon, who Digivolves to Candlemon, then... I don't remember the rest... Anyways, Flowamon seemed nice and I asked her if she wanted to be my friend but she just attacked me and everyone else. She was so violent! She destroyed all my friends and left me with no one! "I barely managed to fend her off, but I was so lonely and depressed after that... I tried to kill myself many times but I failed... then... he came. Virtualmon came out of nowhere and said to me, "Hey, little Digimon. I'll be your friend. You can be on my side." He kept his word, and I inally got my first home and my first happiness in a long time. Of course, I've always been on the evil side; I like to cause trouble, you know, but... it bothers me... and I don't know why..." "I see..." Angel said in a somber tone. "That's kind of sad." "Hmmm... Virtualmon saved your life, like he did to me... Clair, what happened with you and Virtualmon?" "It was the most frightening moment of my life," Clair said. "Before I met Virtualmon, I was a little girl that knew nothing about Digimon. I was always looked to as being weird, but... I just wanted to be normal. One day, I wished to have my life changed and not have anyone tease me anymore, that I could be strong and nnot be the weak little girl that I was. Then, out of nowhere, Virtualmon appeared. He sort of kidnapped me and took me to the Shadow World. I was kind of frightened back then. Anyways, Virtualmon put me in a cell and started doing some sort of research. Then there was a giant flash, and the next thing I knew, I was totally different... I found out that I had been transformed into part-Digimon. Now I'm made of data!" "If you hated Virtualmon so much," Karanlik blurted, "how come you're on his side?" "I was just getting to that. Something inside of me told me that everything would be OK. But when I was transformed into part-Digimon, I felt different, in a good way... I felt as if I could see everythin clearly, as if I could suddenly predict the future or something... and I felt this great energy about me that I felt was not weakness. I felt power for the first time, and it felt just wonderful. I felt brave and not shy anymore. I didn't know how to thank Virtualmon. You see, Karanlik, he does have a good side, but it will be hard destroying his evil side. Ohhh... I may sound supid saying this, but I'm beginning to miss what little family I have... I wish... I could go home for just a short time... But how can I in the form I'm in? Oh well, maybe some other time. I can wait." "Another life-saving case," Karanlik thought as the group headed down the mountain. "Hmmm..." And he decided not to think about life-saving situations and tried to figure out how to destroy Virtualmon's evil side.[/color]

[color=teal]Amy and Cyrus were in the Shadow Realm, preparing for a duel with Marik and Fini. As they entered it... "What?" Cyrus shouted to himself. "I transformed into a Celtic Guardian!" "And I transformed into a Mystical Elf..." Amy said with a sigh. Marik transformed into a humanlike version of the Winged Dragon of Ra. "Hahahaha!" he laughed menacingly. "You two have no iea what you're in for! This duel has more at stake than just your cards. If you lose, I'll take all the cards in your deck, plus I'll banish you to the Shadow Realm for eternity! Your minds will be full of nothingness!" "And," Fini continued, "we'll both acquire your Millennium Items if you lose as well." "But if [i]you[/i] lose," Cyrus sneered in a let's-make-a-deal tone, "you will lost your minds and your millennuim items and your decks to us." He held up his Millennium Feather Duster, and the eye on it flashed. "Well then," said Marik, "the order of this duel will go as follows: First I'll go, then Amy, then you, then Fini. Agreed?" "Yes," declared Amy. The duel began. "I'll put one card face down," Marik declared, "and put a monster in defense mode. I hope you know, I have a totally different deck than before, when I met Yugi." "Wel then," said Amy, "I'll..." [i]Wait[/i], she thought, [i]his monster is a Man-Eater Bug! I can't fall into that trap![/i] "I'll do the same as you, Marik." "OK, my turn," Cyrus announced. "I summon La Jinn! Attack Marik's face-down monster!" He fell into Marik's trap. "Reveal Man-Eater Bug!" Marik laughed. "Destroy his monster!" Then bug destroyed the genie, and Cyrus was taken by surprise. "You'll have to duel better than that," Marik said, "in order to beat me. "Now I'll go!" Fini declared. "I summon Hysteric Fairy! Attack Cyrus's life points directly!" Cyrus was down to 6200 life points. "Grrr... stupid fairy..." Cyrus mumbled. "But I'll assure you, I'm not done yet!" "I hope so," Amy thought, "because he can't afford to make any more careless mistakes..."[/color]

[color=purple]Tr'shiel, Line, Veil, Toshi, Asunan, and Riv were heading back to Arrav, and Celestia, Amarest, and Mereduin did the same, except in a separate group. All of them were running as fast as they could, as to get to Arrav as soon as possible. They all took their weapons out, ready for battle. Sure enough, a large army of soldiers was at Arrav, and Celestia's group was there too, fighting off the soldiers. Some of them were being forced by Celestia to attack Morak. Asunan giggled at this sight, still preparing a few enchanted arrows. She shot one at the sky, which immediately caused a thunderstorm to come. Celestia saw this and did the same, causing a mini-tornado to appear nearby. The tornado sucked up a huge amount of soldiers, and the rest were struck by lightning. Soon, only a few were left, and they were easily defeated by Riv's group. Now only one was left: Morak.[/color] OOC: Sorry that post was so short...

[color=dark red]Cadomon, Kinemon, and Driavamon fought against Galfmon, Dryphonmon, Beelzemon, and the others. Driavamon focused on Beelzemon. "Sleep Wave..." she cooed, staring right at Beelzemon, emitting hypnotic waves from all over her, making Beelzemon drowsier by the second. Within a few seconds, Beelzemon fell into a deep trance, then his mind went completely to Driavamon's control. Dinobeemon saw this and rushed over to stop her. "Masquerage!" he shouted, trying to catch Driavamon off guard. But it didn't work... "Psychopath!" Driavamon fired the attack at Dinobeemon. Meanwhile, she said to Beelzemon, "Now, Beelzemon, go attack your friend there. Corona Blaster!" "Corona Blaster!" Beelzemon shouted, firing the attack at Dinobeemon. While the two of them were fighting, Driavamon turned to WarGrowlmon and Zudomon, saying "Well, you two Ultimates are my next victims." Meanwhile, Cadomon was fighting Dryphonmon. The storm that was coming did not worry her. She just waited for Dryphonmon top have a go. Soon, two thunderbolts came crashing down on Cadomon, who used her telekinetic powers to redirect the attack back to Dryphonmon, who was taken by surprise, having just focused on her attack. "You can't beat me," Cadomon sneered, "if you don't pay attention. Spellbind!" She fired the attack at Dryphonmon, who became tangled in some sort of string. By the time the string had unraveled, the sky had returned to normal: a clear, starry night. The thunder and lightning were gone too, and the same went for the dark clouds. "Well, Dryphonmon," said Cadomon, "looks like you'll have to try something new in ordeer to defeat me." Dryphonmon tried to make the swirling clouds reappear again, but that ability seemed to be disabled at the moment... Meanwhile, Cadomon attacked Taomon with a Super Psyblast, making her De-Digivolve back to Renamon. Galfmon and Kinemon fought, and it appeared to be a tie. Curse of the Darkness and Dark Force combined to form a giant sphere of dark energy, which exploded the second it was made. Both Digimon fell back and got up again. "Grrr... stalemate," Galfmon muttered. "Well Kinemon, I must say I'm impressed. But it's not over yet! It's not over until I destroy you!" Meanwhile, the angel Digimon that was watching the fight emerged, revealing herself. She was white all over, except for her eyes, which were bright blue. She looked sort of like a white Angewomon except without the headgear, wearing a long white gown, and holding a wand with a bird's head on it.[/color] OOC: This Digimon sure sounds a lot like it came from Cardcaptor Sakura... IC: [color=dark red]"Hello there, fellow fighters," said the Digimon. "I am Clowmon, and I have been sent here to end this fight. Cadomon, Kinemon, Driavamon, Galfmon, Beelzemon, Dryphonmon, WarGrowlmon, Renamon, Zudomon, Tullimon... It ends here. Our fate is sealed. Card Spell!" she declared, forming cards all around her, all with pictures of Digimon on them. She struck one of them with her wand, and the card glowed while the others vanished. A Zephyrmon was summoned from the card, and she started to attack... "Plasma Pods!" she shouted, attacking Galfmon. After that, Galfmon attacked Zephyrmon, causing her to disappear. "So Clowmon," he said, making an assumption. "You fight for the side of evil, right?" "I fight for neither side," Clowmon answered, acting like she was trying to keep a secret. Kinemon knew what her secret was, due to the fact that she could read minds, but she didn't tell anybody. "Vortex Portal!" Clowmon announced. She threw her wand into the center of the battlefield, between the two sides, and started transfering her energy into it. Meanwhile, Honru and Phantomon were watching over Clair, who had transformed into a harmless little girl. "What's Clowmon doing?" Honru wondered, holding Clair. "I dunno," Clair answered. "I don't have ESP anymore, remember?" Phantomon couldn't stand by any longer. "I'm with Clowmon," he declared. "I don't know what side I'm on either. I don't know who to listen to anymore." Honru nodded. "Honru," Phantomon continued, "I'll go see what Clowmon's up to. You wait here." "No," Honru announced, "I'm coming with you." She nodded and ran along with Phantomon and Clair to the battlefield, where Clowmon was finally done with the energy transfer. Then, without warning, a vortex appeared from Clowmon's wand, and Clowmon flew over to the center of it, turning into data. The energy transfer required a sacrifice. Meanwhile, the vortex swallowed up everyone, transporting them to different parts of the Digital World, and all the Digimon De-Digivolved back to their Rookie forms. The Digidestined were all transported to the beach. Honru and Magemon were transported to the forest. Karanlik and Angel (the vortex made them De-Spirit Evolve) were transported to the mountains, and Gypsymon and Clair were transported to the Shadow World, in Virtualmon's realm. Cadomon, Kinemon, and Driavamon all fused with Clair again, turning her back into her original form as opposed to the little girl she was before. Virtualmon appeared. "So," he said in a weird accent, "where's Karanlik and Angel?" Gypsymon frowned. "That's a long story..." she muttered. "But to make it short, they decided to... they decided to convert to the good side..." "They WHAT?!?" Virtualmon shouted, feeling betrayed. "Gypsymon, Clair, how did you let this happen?" Clair then told Virtualmon everything: the conflicts in Karanlik's mind, the fact that Virtualmon did nothing for him after saving his life, how Angel agreed with him, everything. "Well... Well then we'll just have to beef things up a little for us," Virtualmon decided. "Clair, you need a new amplifier, a better one. Gypsymon, you need to Digivolve to Kalimon and practice your attacks. Meanwhile, I'll try to round up allies." He chuckled to himself, thinking, "We will never be stopped. NEVER."[/color]

Now my Maha Vailo has 3050 attack points!! Maha Vailo, attack and take out the rest of her life points!!" "Not if I can help it. Magic Cylinder, go!" Amy commanded. "Nooooo! I lose 3050 life points!" "And you have 50 left." "Grrr... I'll play one card face down and end my turn." While they were playing their game, a girl appeared holding what looked like a long version of a Millennium Rod, except with a streamer hanging from it. "Hello, you two," she said in a sinister tone. "I see you two are both duelists right?" "Hey," Cyrus shouted, "don't interrupt us in the middle of a duel!" "I have to. My cousin told me to." "Your who?" "Hahahaha!" an evil voice said. It was Marik! "Why hello there, mortal fools. I am Marik Ishtar, and this is my cousin Fini. You two are about to experiaence a force like none you've ever seen before!" "What do you mean?" Amy asked. "Are you two challenging us to a Double Duel?" "Why, you read my mind," Fini sneered. "Let's do this!" She then held up her stafflike item. It was the Millennium Staff, which let the user transform into any Duel Monster at any time. She turned into Marie the Fallen One, and Marik transported Amy and Cyrus to the Shadow Realm, preparing for a duel.[/color] OOC: Sorry this post is so short; I have to go now... [color=blue]To these disruptions, Celestia woke up instantly. She looked at Rimnil and Kioto woth fury. She then took out the two arrows she kept and looked at them. "I haven't used these in a long time," she thought, "but they might come in use... still I wouldn't want to hurt them... I'll do it as a last resort." Celestia used her telekinetic powers to separate Riv and Kioto. "OK, no fighting each other. Period. No exceptions. Kioto, try to control yourself! Rimnil, you'll pay for this!" But Kioto would not snap out of it. Celestia took out one of her arrows, rested its tip on her forehead, and chanted something under her breath. The arrow glowed and turned bright blue. She then used her powers to shoot the arrow at Kioto. A few seconds after the arrow hit Kioto in the head, Kioto began to calm down and come back to his senses. He then scratched his head and noticed the arrow... "Celestia! What did you do that for? And how come this arrow doesn't hurt?" he said, dumbfounded. "Don't worry, I put a special spell on it so that it wouldn't hurt you. I also transferred some of my mental energy to you, which should prevent you from being taken over by Rimnil." She then took the arrow out; it didn't even leave a scar. Then she walked back inside the cave and went to sleep. Riv and Kioto soon did the same.[/color]

OOC: What, and let the army take over Krii? IC: [color=purple]Asunan prepared her arrows. Celestia wandered over to her, grinning. "You're getting good at this," she said to Asunan. "Here, use my arrows too," she continued. Asunan continued infusing spells into the arrows, Celestia helping her out all the way. "Here, you go help out Riv with taking on Morak. I'll go defeat the rest of his army. Don't worry, the rest of my group will help me. "But Celestia..." "Are you saying we can't do this alone?" "There are too many of them..." "...Pain happens as a sacrifice, Asunan. We'll take a lot of damage in the batle, I predict, but we'll make it in the end, I know it. Even if we have to make a sacrifice." "...OK, but be careful..." And with that, Celestia ran off with Amarest and Mereduin and started fighting the rest of the soldiers. "You won't win," Morak sneered. "I doubt it," Riv said in a cocky tone. The two were fighting when an arrow shot into Morak from the side, right into his left ear. He soon started to become deaf. "Sorry, Morak, looks like you won't be hearing from us anymore," Asunan shouted from on top of the tower, jumping off it and landing on the main wall of the castle. She prepared another arrow, trying to aim at Morak's eye, hoping to blind him. Her plan was to weaken him, sense by sense. Meanwhile, Celestia's group fought the soldiers. Amarest swung her sword violently at them, and Meredion shot flames at them, burning the soldiers with their own armor. Celestia threw soldiers all over the place with her mind and also helped out Amarest and Mereduin when they needed it. The battle raged on.[/color]

Clair was angry, very angry. And so was Kalimon. Both of them paced around in the forest, wondering what to do. Honru and Phantomon were discussing a plan. "We should figure out a way to Digivolve further," Honru suggested. "We're way behind..." She sighed, unsure planwise. "MagnaAngemon Digivolve to..." "Seraphimon!!" "Parakitamon Digivolve to..." "Dynatomicmon!!" Kalimon's army of Digimon had Digivolved to Mega at last. Clair fired Dark Mind Attacks everywhere in frustration, completely upset. She decided to go back to the fight, but staying on the other side. A strange feeling overcame her, as if she was unable to control herself. "Psychic Storm!!" she shouted, hitting some of the Digimon with the blast, especially Beelzemon and WarGrowlmon. She also hit Galfmon with the attack. "Galfmon, if you are planning to go against Virtualmon, I have no choice but to get in your way. Kalimon's not here, but I can take you on alone. Come and get me!!" Galfmon stood there, wondering why Clair had become so crazy all of a sudden. Everyone else decided to attack, and Galfmon did the same later on. "Curse of the Darkness!" "Solar Wind Destroyer!!" "Corona Blaster!" "Masquerage!" "Talisman of Light!" "Static Shock!!" "Atomic Blaster!!" Clair instantly called upon her telekinetic powers, hoping for the best. The attacks hit and stopped before her, hovering there for a while. Meanwhile, Kalimon was in the forest, practicing her attacks and nearly destroying the forest. Honru was wandering out to the desert, wondering where Clair ran off to. She suddenly found her there, trying to fend off all the good Digimon's attacks. Honru gasped in fear and ran towards her. Clair was focusing her mind on getting the attacks back to the other Digimon, and the opposing Digimon fought back with all their might, the Digidestined's Crests and Digivices glowing. It was a tie until... "Tullimon Digivolve to..." "...Sakuramon!!" Sakuramon was a Samurai Digimon, with the attacks Flower Dance, Solar Blade, and Hyper Cut. She ran up to where the other Digimon were standing and attacking Clair, and she did the same as they did. "Solar Blade!!" she shouted. Within seconds, Clair's concentration finally broke, and all the attacks hit her. Kalimon, meanwhile, was coming out looking for Clair and tried to save her, but it was too late. There was a giant explosion and lots of smoke. Kalimon stared at the cloud of smoke in a panic, hoping Clair didn't die from the attacks. But no Digi Eggs came out... "Dynatomicmon, blow the smoke away!" she ordered, and Dynatomicmon did as he was told. The smoke cleared, and in the place where Clair had been was a sphere of energy... A voice spoke from the orb. "Hahahaha. I predicted this would happen. You thought I had finally been defeated, but no. Oh no. I'm back, and better than ever..." "Digi Split, activate!" "Execute Split Evolution!!" Clair stood there, in a trance. Suddenly, three copies of her appeared, and the original glowed and devolved into an innocent little girl, who ran out of the sphere and near where Honru was. Meanwhile, her three copies morphed into three separate Digimon, all different. One looked like a dark angel similar to LadyDevimon except white, the second looked like a cross between Witchmon and Sorcermon, and the third was a glowing blue dragon. "Driavamon!" the Dark Angel Digimon shouted. "Cadomon!" the Sorceress Digimon shouted. "Kinemon!" the Psy Dragon Digimon shouted. Aldamon declared. "Vulcan's Hammer!" Zudomon declared. "Corona Blaster!" Beelzemon shouted as he turned into Blast Mode. "Talisman of Light!" Taomon shouted, having defeated all the Devidramon. "Dark Mind Attack!" Clair announced. Karanlik was talking to himself, finally gaining control of both his spirits. He prepared to attack... Arukenimon, meanwhile, was hit by WarGrowlmon's Atomic Blaster. She fainted. "Atomic Blaster!" WarGrowlmon shouted again, trying to make her De-Digivolve. But it didn't work. Instead, Arukenimon rose up into the air, some strange energy field lifting her. She began to laugh sinisterly... "You've done it, WarGrowlmon. Now, Digidestined, bow down before me!!" She then glowed, and then... "Arukenimon Digivolve to..." Arukenimon changed, looking like a cross between a devil and a vampire, like a female version of Myotismon with a staff with a skull on it... "...Kalimon!!" But then... "Paildramon Digivolve to..." "...Imperialdramon!!!" Kalimon stared at the newly Digivolved Imperialdramon and laughed. "So, you think you can defeat me, huh?" she sneered. "How about a little taste of my powers?" "Mega Crusher!" Imperialdramon shouted in fury. Kalimon dodged the attack with ease, flying around him on red bat wings. "Web of Doom!" Kalimon declared, throwing a huge black web on top of Imperialdramon. "You think a little spider web will stop me?" Imperialdramon teased, trying to brush the web off with his arm. But the web stuck to it, and soon enough, Imperialdramon became tangled in the web. At the same time, the web sapped his energy, making him De-Digivolve back to Wormmon. Wormmon started to run for his life and just barely escaped the battlefield before Kalimon could hit him again. Then Beelzemon faced her... "You witch! How about a piece of me?" "Fine then. Another victim." Kalimon tapped her staff on the ground, and a swirl of dark egergy appeared in a circle on the ground around her. "Dark Spirits' Command!" Kalimon shouted. "Come forth and obey! Destroy him!" Within moments, Flowamon and Warblemon, plus a few Patamon, appeared. (Those were all Digimon defeated by the villains. Remember them?) "Digivolve, my friends!" And the Digimon digivolved into their Ultimate forms: Tullimon, Parakitamon, and four MagnaAngemon. They all began to attack... "Lunar Laser!!" Tullimon declared. "Inferno Beam!" Parakitamon shouted. "Angel Rod!" all the MagnaAngemon shouted at once. Clair was the first to notice Kalimon's army of dead Digimon. She smirked and continued attacking the others. Galfmon was fighting Aldamon, and Clair was fighting WarGrowlmon and Taomon atthe same time. She seemed to ahndle it well; twice, the heroes' attacks backfired due to Clair's powers... The villains seemed to be winning, but there was something going on with the Digidestined... Clair sensed a great difficulty inside while she was fighting. It troubled her, but she tried not to pay any attention to it. She told Succubimon, but that was it. She didn't understand what Clair was talking about. Weird...[/color] Oh finally, here is a picture of Virtualmon. He's a little guy and looks weird, but he can do a lot! And those things that look like wheels aren't wheels; they're hovering devices.

[color=blue]Celestia thought about the plan for a moment, then said, "It will work, I know it. But we must take one thing into caution: There are creatures guarding the back of Rimnil's lair; we need to defeat them first, but that will be a piece of cake. All we have to do is lead them away from Rimnil and attack while Rimnil still thinks we're not there. And, we have to do this in the daytime, when Rimnil's dark powers will not be strengthened by the night." Riv thought about Celestia's piece of the plan and nodded, thinking somehow that she could be right. He knew a little bit about Rimnil, and he suspected that he had guards around the mountain. Ki also agreed with the plan, but he knew the group would have to be careful; he felt that Rimnil's powers would be strengthened by hatred and anger, him being such an evil creature. Kioto shrugged, releived that Celestia agreed with his plan and didn't go against it. A swordsman's instincts, in this case, are almost as good as psychic powers. "We should all get a good night's sleep, then," Riv suggested. Everyone nodded. Checking that everything was safe and clear, Kioto said "All clear!" and went to sleep with the others.[/color]

[color=purple]Asunan prepared her arrows and shot one of them at a nearby soldier to test it out. The arrow exploded with electricity on contact, paralyzing the soldier. Asunan smiled and fired another one; it burst into flame and singed another soldier from inside. Then, Asunan took out her sword, which she hadn't used in a long time. She swung it around over her head, then dashed into the crowd and spun around, swinging the sword at soldiers in every direction. The soldiers took a lot of damage even with their steel armor. Riv was slashing his legendary blade at soldiers with ease, and the others did the same. But then, more soldiers came and threw javelins at them, scoring almost direct hits. Riv and the others were taken by surprise and fell to the ground. * * * "We need you, Celestia. We need you..." Images from the war flashed through Celestia's mind, causing her to have a mini nightmare. Suddenly, when she saw the group being attacked, she instantly woke up, waking up Mereduin and Amarest with her. "You must wake up, you two!" Celestia shouted. "Asunan needs our help!" Mereduin and Amarest got up sleepily, then rubbed their eyes and panicked. All three of them ran out the castle and towards the battlesite. There were several screams heard, most of them coming from Asunan. Riv was falling down and getting up angrily, Toshi was swinging his sword helplessly while laying on the ground, and Line shot arrows in a random direction blindly. (She had stolen a nearby archer's bow and arrows.) But then, Celestia and the others finally arrived. There were some large rocks floating in the air around them. Celestia sent the rocks flying towards the group of soldiers, knocking a few of them out. Mereduin jumped up and shot fireballs at some other soldiers, whose metal armor made them weak against fire. Amarest dashed into the crowd, her sword glowing and ready. Within a few minutes, the group of soldiers completely forgot about Riv and the others and focused on Celestia's group. A perfect opportunity. Riv's group got up and started to attack with their swords again. Who will win?[/color]

Maria and Gomamon, Duke and Guilmon, Matt and Hoodmon, Impmon, Stingmon... versus Succubimon, Duskmon, Arukenimon, Honru and Wizardmon, Clair... "Hey perfect!" Arukenimon whispered to the others. "This battle will be five on five! We're evenly matched! That makes it more interesting." "Yes, it does," Angel whispered back. Karanlik and Honru nodded. "Well," Honru declared, "I think it's time to attack." She put on an evil smirk. "Yes, I know," Clair whispered back. "Let's move it!" And with that, Arukenimon, Honru, Wizardmon, Succubimon, and Clair all jumped out from behind the bushes and attacked... "Thunder Ball!" "Dark Mind Attack!" Arukenimon fired a few Spirit Needles around, creating an army of Dokugumon this time. Succubimon was also getting ready to attack... The attacks surprised the Digidestined and the Digimon. Then they began to Digivolve, into WarGrowlmon, Beelzemon, Silphymon, Zudomon, and Paildramon. Wizardmon also Digivolved to Phantomon. The fight began. "Psychic Storm!" Clair shouted. All the good Digimon around her got hit, except Beelzemon, who had dodged it. "Acid Mist!" Arukenimon declared. The attack hit Beelzemon. Then she thought to herself, "I must Digivolve again! But when?" "Desperado Blaster!" "Laser Eye!" "Corona Blaster!" "Vulcan's Hammer!" "Spider Thread!" "Psychic Storm!" "Atomic Blaster!" Turuiemon just sat by and watched, deciding whether to fight of not.[/color]

"I've had enough Digivolving for today... now I have to Digivolve [i]again[/i]?" "Yes; sadly, it's the truth. My predictions never fail, and my prediction is that Beelzemon will defeat us both if you don't Digivolve! Unless... hmmm..." Clair thought a moment. "Unless I help. Now that's a thought." "What are you muttering to yourself now?" Arukenimon shouted. "I said that you might not have to Digivolve if I help you." "Great! But... are you sure?" "No problem. I'm sensing that this one's a piece of cake." Clair heard footsteps near them; Beelzemon was coming. "Now!" she shouted. The signal. "Spirit Needle!" Arukenimon shouted. Clair and Arukenimon hid in the center of the group, unseen by Beelzemon. Stingmon flinched and said to Beelzemon, "I think we should get out of here. They greatly outnumber us, five to one!" "No," Beelzemon chuckled, "I think we should have a little fun. Double Impact!" The attack turned a few of the Beetlemon into data. Meanwhile, Stingmon rushed into the group and hid with Arukenimon and Clair. Then he vanished. "Electron Cannon!" shouted one of the MetalKabuterimon. It hit Beelzemon, but Beelzemon got up and struck back. Clair whispered something to Arukenimon, who turned into her true form and emerged from the group, right after Beelzemon destroed the remainder of the MetalKabuterimon with a Corona blaster. However, Arukenimon stole half of the data. "Acid Mist!!" she shouted, shrouding Beelzemon with the attack. Beelzemon braced himself. "Dark Mind Attack!!" Clair declared, firing the attack past Beelzemon's defenses and scoring a direct hit. Then, Arukenimon trapped Beelzemon with a Spider Thread, after which Beelzemon lay there, immobilized. Clair hit him with another Dark Mind Attack, causing him to De-Digivolve all the way back to Impmon. Before Arukenimon could fire another attack, Impmon ran away back to where Stingmon was. Arukenimon and Clair giggled at each other, and Arukenimon turned back into her human form. "Good one!" Clair congratulated Arukenimon. "See, I told you you wouldn't have to Digivolve!" And they were thinking about the battle for the rest of the day.[/color]

"Good," Riv thought. "This is a perfect hiding place until we head towards the mountain tomorrow." "And we shouldn't get lost either," Celestia thought. "I'll help them along if they do." "I wonder..." Kioto thought, "how did Rimnil find out that we were coming? We don't need two mind readers here..." "I'm getting tired," Ki thought. "We should find a place to sleep soon." Those thoughts lingered in the group's minds as they walked on, searching for the perfect place to hide. "Here," Celestia suddenly declared. "Nobody will find us here, I'm sure of it." She pointed to a spot behind a bush. But as Riv looked more closely, he saw that it was actually an opening to a small cave. "Hey, you're right. We can stay in here. You sure there's nothing in it?" "Positive," Celestia answered. The group then entered the little cavern, which was almost completely dark. But within a minute, Riv's sword lit up, helping the others to see better. Sure enough, the cave was empty. A perfect place to hide. Kioto closed up the entrance to the cave with grass, while Riv and Celestia made a small fire in the center of the cave. Everyone sat in a circle around it, enjoying its warmth on that cold night. They sat for a while, talking for a bit about Rimnil's plans... "It's obvious that Rimnil knows about our plan," Riv declared. "Yes," Ki said, "I can feel his anger already. He is furious." "I personally hope he won't find us before we find him," Kioto muttered in a slightly worried tone. "But if we do meet, he's history." "Defeating him will be hard," Celestia said, "because he has already set up an army of creatures already--vampires, goblins, evil gnomes... mutant animals, some armored... I have to think about this some more." Then she closed her eyes and saw Rimnil and his army of creatures...[/color]

Asunan was placing some of her arrows on her heart and on her head, making them glow a ceratin color, infusing them with a certain spell. Toshi, Riv, and Line were preparing their swords for combat. (Asunan foresaw more attackers coming; she told the group there was a huge army of them!) "Thank you, Celestia," Asunan thought, "for everything you have taught me about the use of magic in archery." She smiled as she thought about Celestia; now she seemed as special as she was to Mereduin, even though she wasn't her sister. Then Asunan stopped... "Wait everybody," she declared in a quiet tone. "I sense that more attackers are coming. We must be prepared and alert." "More of them?!" Toshi blurted. "Didn't we get rid of them all?" "That was only a small portion of an amazingly large army. Uh-oh, I sense more coming--more than twice as many as before... We need help!" With that, she closed her eyes and tried to contact Celestia... "Celestia! Wake up! Trouble!" she thought. "More attackers are headed our way, and there's too many of them! We need help! And bring Mereduin and Amarest too!" Asunan prayed and hoped that Celestia could still hear her if she were asleep. She needed her help more than anything now.[/color]
