Okay personally I see no reason to waste a slot for Magical Scientist when I could just as easily fill that slot with Ha Des seeing as how he does the same thing, also I could play a Light of Intervention or Royal Command, or wait wait I could aslo use Sasuke Samurai seeing as how it kills ANY monster in face down defense mode. So therefore I could kill off a Cyber Pod, Fiber Pod, hell even a 2000 defenser! So you see the current monster removal theme here is not substandard its rather advanced for only being out a year. And personally I think the Different Dimension Warrior cards are okay but why use them and run the risk of hitting a Cyber Jar or something worse with it when you could save it for something better.

[COLOR=darkblue]I have to agree with Tom on this, Magical Scientist really is pretty poor in this current Metagame, so what if you could get out something like Dark Balter, that's just 1000 life points of yours down the toilet so all he can do is attack one monster and then go kaboom on himself and the point of that would be nothing seeing as how you could slap out a Royal Command or Light of Intervention which would prevent all flip effects, unless you have a Bookd of Moon and then therefore you could use your own flip effects. And summoning a Paladin would be pointless seeing as how you can't attack directly with him. Personally I see Magical Scientist as nothing more then fodder for tributes like oh say Cannon Soldier or Amazon Archer etc.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][SIZE=1]I think your deck is pretty good Tom, I might suggest that you try and get an Apprentice Magician simply because once its Normal Summoned you can slap on a counter onto your Marionette and when its killed in battle you can get out you Old Vindictive Magician faster. And then I stopped and I was in some sort of command center, it looked rather advanced, with all sorts of fancy buttons etc. I looked around some more and then a small robot came plodding out. Personally I think the union monsters like the XYZ combos simply because you can equip one monster and make it even more powerful and then un-equip it the same turn just to add a little more muscle to your field.

All I can really say tom is watch the restricted list for Breaker and Virus but until then go wild with three. Yugi boy, you're deck seems impressive at the moment all I can say is put a Jinzo in and maybe a Summoned Skull or something else that has some muscle to the deck and you'll be fine.

I think he has De-Fusion in for the new threat of Dark Paladin. Right now also since Breaker and Virus have not been put on the list yet (Konami I swear always waits a month and a half before they update) is why he's using three, heck if I had three of them I'd be using them until the restricted list was updated, lol.

True, I could use three Limiters and yes that would be a good combination but I just decided not to in the long run seeing as how yes DNA surgery would save them but why take the time fighting to save them. I mean yes it is a good combination but there would be the risk of Jinzo being on the field just as I play Limiter remover and then kaboom go all of them. But I might just trim the deck down by cutting out machine boosters all together. Hopefully I could get the pieces out faster.

But I also intend to take full power of these new fusions with their great effects and their Light Attribute and beef them up with a Luminous Spark. Basically I'm totaling this up if I only get one Sasuke Samurai, if I have 2 I'll have a 48 card deck.

[COLOR=darkblue][SIZE=1]Personally I think another of the big sellers that are also in the new set are the XYZ cards seeing as how you don't need a polymerization to make their fusions, except the downside is that you need to remove them from play, of course that's where good old Mircale Dig comes in handy. But Dark Magician Girl will be majorly sought after by everyone seeing as how people can finally work with a Dark Magican deck to an extent, we still need to wait for Dark Magic Curtain.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[COLOR=darkblue]True, very true that it does take six turns for it to be allowed out so yes a Swords of Revealing Light would be very useful too, thanks for the suggestion. I'm also tempted just for kicks to throw in two Spellbinding Circles and one Nightmare Wheel seeing as how they stall your opponent's monsters.[/COLOR]

Except Offerings to the Doomed makes you skip your next Draw Phase. You're much better off with Tribute to the Doomed if you're leaning towards it.

And besides I just wanted suggestions seeing as how this is a [b]rough draft deck[/b] and that Snatch Steal and Premature Burial are major must haves seeing as how Snatch Steal is better than Change of heart and lasts longer. United We Stand, Mage Power, and Axe of Despair are the main staple equip cards for any deck. And one more thing, Premature Burial is a much needed revival card right next to Monster Reborn and Call of the Haunted. And 11 traps an excessive amount?! Three "Barrel Behind the Door" are a major must have seeing as how you can deflect a Magic Cylinder activation, or Ring of Destruction, or any other cards that require life point damage. Ring of Destruction is a major Monster removal card as is Mirror Force. Magic Cylinder is great at deflecting attacks that could have a crucial impact on the duel and Spellbinding Circle is yet another great staller. Imperial Order is a major duh-duh card to have, its really much better than that of Magic Jammer and thats another thing Barrel Behind the Door comes in handy for. Metalmorph is great at bypassing things like Magic Jammer and Imperial order, of course I'm just debating on using it.[/COLOR]
