Well, you know it is kind of hard to post again when its considered double posting, lol. I would post but you know the rules. Plus I think we need a little more direction with how to deal with this situation. Maybe you could give us a little more direction??

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"]Jonathan was still slightly groggy from the combination of jet-lag and a minor hangover. Against Michael's wishes, Jonathan had gone out and gotten slightly drunk. The next morning he found himself back at home and regularly dressed for bed. "Just what the hell happened?!" Jonathan mumbled as he looked at Michael form in the corner of his room near the closet. "I believe in this day and time I would say I hauled your sorry ass back here after you got yourself completely wasted you jackass. Though I think I might be wrong." The templar said as he rubbed his leg from standing. It was an old habit he had developed back when he was alive and never quite dropped. When Jonathan was finally able to stand he got dressed and fourteen hours later he was standing in the airport of Helia. The airport security had been a little tight when he entered and exited the plane. Mainly due to the fact that he had a long sword, commonly used among knights, packed in his carry-on luggage. When he explained it was an heirloom he was simply returning to a family friend he was allowed to bring it aboard. Though Michael continually protested and bitched. However when they had arrived Michael had gone eerily quiet. "Michael are you all right? You've been too damn quiet for my liking and I'm starting to get...." "Quiet!! There's something foul in the air. I say we quickly get to the sacred pool. I can sense something coming from there. Though it might just be my gut telling me something's wrong." With that in mind Jonathan quickly hailed down a local taxi and was whisked away to the sacred pool. When he arrived he was greeted in the usual manner and was glad to be rid of the pilgrimage luggage, but when it the attempt to make the man part from the sword in his bag he put his foot down and told them that his prophet was sensing something wrong at the pool and he demanded access to the area quickly. That was all nice and done but just then the sound of a massive burst of water against ground alerted Jonathan and he quickly drew forth his sword and took to running as fast as he could to the pool.[/COLOR] Apologies if this isn't quite up to par. Jonathan yelled as he stormed across the rain-soaked lawn. The day had been any other usual one in his hometown located on the Eastern seaboard during the summer. Rain, rain, and the occasional warm day. "Calm down Jonathan. This time you might be able to get the answers you want about how a demon could pierce a ritual like ours and possess your brother." Michael's calming voice echoed in the young-man's head. "Yeah, yeah.. God dammit!! I'm really pissed off about this. I don't want to leave home on some damn pilgrimage. It just seems too cliche for me..." The young man muttered to himself and yet at the same time it seemed more like he was trying to convince himself that he didn't want to go. Yet in the long run he did. While Jonathan changed into his normal clothes Michael still chimed in the boy's mind, "Look, just go for my sake if not for your own personal sake. It could be educational..." The young knight said in a convincing tone. Jonathan sighed in a defeated manner as he stuck his wallet into his pocket and grabbed his car keys. "You know, you're right. I should just give this a chance. But tonight I'm going to go out for one last hurrah and hopefully have some fun. Though I don't know. I mean it just seems so hokey that right after this ritual...." "JONATHAN! Are you implying that God all mighty himself is up to some sort of scheme?! Never have I heard such blasphemy from you! You should put your trust in faith at least a little!" "Look where that got you though Michael.. Excommunicated from the church itself and slaughtered for doing something right..." With this the young Templar fell silent and shook his head. The conversation was over on the subject. Jonathan would go but not to the point of excitement though it could provide some answers about his brother. "Well, I guess I should start packing before we leave." With that he started to gather some clothes up for his flight.[/COLOR] I hope that was okay.[/SIZE]

I think I'll join. ^_^ [B]Name[/B]: Jonathan Stallard [B]Age:[/B] 21 [B]Gender:[/B] Male [B]Personality:[/B] Jonathan is usually the jokester and the heart of any group. Granted he has played his fair share of annoying as hell pranks but if anything serious happens he is the first one a person can turn to for support. However he does get agitated easily by sheer stupidity and constant whining. Most people believe that's why he's been kicked out of most of the coffee houses, he starts up a lot of crap with the emos. However he is a firm believer in what is right and wrong and believes in his religion of Prophetism. [B]History:[/B] Jonathan grew up in a normal middle working class family with two older brothers and a younger sister. His father worked and still does work for a large factory that is partially owned by the church. His mother worked for a law firm until she had Jonathan's sister. Then she became a dedicated stay-at-home mother. Their life was a typical family's life until Jonathan's oldest brother turned sixteen. The family celebrated and Jonathan's oldest brother went to hopefully gain a Manifest. However the ritual soon took a turn for the worst and a demon escaped on accident and took over Jonathan's brother. The young boy went on a rampage. First eviscerating the priest that had performed the ritual and then he turned on Jonathan. But the demon was stopped in his tracks when a younger priest and his Manifest were able to stop the creature. But this was not without its consequences. Jonathan's brother was forever scarred by this encounter and had to be locked up in a special institution within the Vatican to make sure that if a demon ever tried to take hold of the boy that they would be able to stop him. For the rest of the family Jonathan's other brother declined to have a ritual for a manifest saying that he didn't want to end up like his older brother. Jonathan however wanted to go through with the ritual and when he came of age he performed and was met with his manifest Michael. North Wind- A strong force of cold air is ushered in and causes snow and ice to fall. Usually this leaves the target of this attack either frozen solid or left stunned. Dragon's Endurance- This ability allows Jonathan to survive any type of weather condition. His body temperature will warm if he is in freezing conditions or will drop if in too hot of weather. His stamina is also increased to sustain him for days without food or water. Though once this ability is finished, it generally is turned off when Jonathan wills it. He is left famished and extremely tired. ~Later~ Heavenly Strike- With a short prayer for the soon to be vanquished foe Jonathan will launch himself into a frenzy of sword strikes that are almost invisible. Lance of Longinus- Jonathan will summon forth the holy lance and use it to finish off any resistance. However he will rarely use this, only big threats are worth this. Wrath of Heaven- With an intense prayer Jonathan will be able to summon forth an Archangel and it will take over the fighting for about five minutes. Though this only will work four times. [B]Prophet Name:[/B] Michael of Acre [B]Gender:[/B] Male [B]Powers:[/B] Vorpral Slash- Focusing his energy into a blade that Jonathan has he can cause an invisible blade to lash out from the sword that will never miss its target. Impenetrable Shield- Michael will create a barrier capable of blocking most physical attacks. Bullets, it not from a machine gun, are blocked as well. Master Swordsman- Adding his skills to Jonathan's the two are able to pull off some very complicated and very powerful sword attacks. ~Later~ Blade of the Templars- This will allow Jonathan and Michael to use the most powerful blade among the Templar Knights. This blade is unblockable and will not be denied a target. Heavenly Shield- Michael will sacrifice some of his energy to call upon heavenly devices to protect the young Jonathan. Darkened Sky- This attack practically blots out the sun as thousands of arrows rain death upon the fool stupid enough to invoke Michael's wrath. [B]Personality:[/B] Michael, being a Templar Knight is very secretive to most people but lets the young Jonathan know all of his secrets and is capable to assessing a situation quickly. He is your average soldier/knight. [B]History:[/B] Michael was a Templar knight during the last of the crusades and fought against many enemies and was able to secure the holy land for the church. But like most of the Templars he was betrayed by the Vatican and killed because of his "treachery" . However he was accepted by god and awaited the day until he could meet someone who could possibly set him free. [COLOR="Blue"]OMG OMG OMG!! I have witnessed I don't know how many cases of sheer stupidity!! Though some people might say I'm just a bad driver... Okay so the first problem occurred on New Year's Eve.. I was driving to the local Best Buy to check out if there were any Xbox 360 games that I wanted. However as I was about to come upon the local Dillion's a freaking idiot looked both ways at the crosswalk and looked right at me and started to cross!! This is what's the kicker, [B]I had a green light the entire time.[/B] Fortunately I swerved and missed the fool and honked at him but the dumb idiot gave me a deer-in-the-headlight look. Then yesterday a high-school kid did the exact same thing!! He crossed at the wrong time but I saw him start to so I stopped fully and the dumb prick walked behind my car with a smug look on his face. I really had an urge to get out and yell at him and give him a few well chosen words at the time. I have got so many driving stories its not even funny. People here in Kansas just don't know how to drive all together...[/COLOR]

[COLOR="Blue"]Well its hard for me to believe I've been a member for so long too. Though I think I was a member during the transition from v5 to v6 I think. Well it was when I was a sophomore in High School so that was like five years ago... SO yeah it was during v5! Yaaayyy!! Domon can count after all!! But yeah, I've been on multiple hiatuses. What I'm posting is to ask this of any other members who have done this too and if they come back and see multiple things have changed among new faces and how they cope. Me, I just kind of go with the flow and such I mean. I really haven't been on due to my evil dial-up connection at home and I just recently got a new laptop with wireless connection. [COLOR=blue]Well let's see... I was in a free-period/study hall like class when I saw the news. I was freshman in high school at the time. Then later that day I was crying because of all those people who died and the fact that there were kids on those flights. Now six years later I have several friends that have signed up for the army and marines and they are over in Iraq fighting and I worry over them. Especially my best friend who is like my brother. So I remembered the day by keeping my friends in my heart and prayers. But for all those people that died on that day I think all we can do is grieve for them and remember them. I guess I can put it best by quoting Craig Ferguson. This day [9/11] is like a scar. You get the wound that eventually heals up but you have a scar. After that day there are many things that changed about us. The way we view terrorists, our homeland security, etc. But also Colin Powel said that all of those events should not dictate how we change but we ourselves as Americans dictate how we as a society change. Its not the president, congress, or any elected official. We, the American society dictate our change.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Well, basically every singer of age (generally 17) will be in Point city for a big festival that will start that day. The rpg will basically start off with everyone "getting ready" for the festival. I can't really give too much away. But I'll try to post an outline in my first post for when the rpg gets started. BTW. Has anyone seen Lionheart?? If he's been on lately or is on later tonight can someone that has signed up please PM him and tell him that I'll be getting the rpg up in the next few days. [COLOR="Blue"]Well, after having skimmed through some of my old posts/threads I came across the old OB Graphics Club thread. I really liked that thread because everyone could join and submit their own art at a pace and get pretty darn good feedback. I would really like to see something like that or that very thread brought back to the light!! It was fun and you could always get plenty of help. Also I was thinking of maybe a Photoshop tutorial-esque thread. Kind of like a Q&A thread like something along the lines of "I really would like to do a background like this" and maybe post an example of someone's art. Or even have the person who made something that they feel would be really benifical to someone else's photoshop portfolio submit their art and how they did it step-by-step. Really that's all I can think of at the moment.[/COLOR]

[B]Singers:[/B] The supposed keepers of peace and harmony. They are the last surviving members of a lost civilization that was destroyed in a great cataclysm. However, the singers have remained distant from the rest of mankind. Keeping their island home a hidden secret via their ancient technology. But being isolated doesn?t mean that they haven?t gone into the realm of man and brought back news and new technology. Though they were charged with being the guardians of peace. The singers have become far too distant from the world and have severely isolated themselves. With this in mind and heart. The younger generation of singers have deemed the ways to have grown veiled and uncaring for the rest of the world and therefore have become Instrumentalists so as to ?bring peace and harmony back to the world.? [B]Instrumentalists:[/B] Originally a lower class of singers. The Instrumentalists taught the young singers about keeping order and harmony in the world and amongst themselves. But a few, very few indeed, were rebels and disagreed with the way the leaders of the singers ran things. This caused harsh punishments on all instrumentalists. A lot were taken into the mountains and left there to fend for themselves. As time progressed the younger instrumentalists created great mechanized weapons and began to wage battles against their singer kin. The politicians tried to get the singers to allow them to be the vanguard of man. Let them help keep mankind under control.. This was because many of the singer guards had failed and allowed too much warmongering among man to start. The singers though explained that such warmongering was allowed because mankind needs to remain unaware of a higher power. A power that greatly supercedes them and could very well destroy them. If mankind knew of the singers, the island, and the power. They would first try to get that power through treaties, then the jealousy would start and then the violence. After this the Instrumentalists cut all ties to the singers and declared a full fledged war on them claiming that the singer?s goals were to allow mankind to destroy itself. Mankind should be aware of the island and its inhabitants. [B]Island of the Singers:[/B] The island is what every single person on earth believes to be the Bermuda Triangle. Yes, the island is in fact that large. With four major cities in it, with at least fifty other small towns. The first major city is the capital which is called Point City. It is named this so because it faces towards North America and its conveniently placed near the top point of the triangle. It is a very modern city but it still retains some of the ancient buildings. If one were to visit the old part of the city one would see the old temples that were used to worship the light and gods. The second city is Ashur. It is located on the western seaboard of the island and is primarily fishing. Some might compare it to a New England fishing community of modern times. Also there are cruise ships that will cruise around the island at night, but that has been cancelled due to the recent uprising in Instrumentalist activity. The city is usually quiet and peaceful. The final city of the singers is Scarlet City and is located amongst the mountains of the island. With that in mind is considered to look like some of the Pueblo Indian buildings except very modern of course. Also the Singers? major military installation is built deep into the mountains. Nearly impregnable, it is where a lot of the key political members live so as to avoid being kidnapped from Point City. The Instrumentalists recently captured and are now occupying the city of Liron. The city is currently under martial law entailing a curfew, tapped phone lines, etc. Mostly though the people are allowed to live normal lives. Though there has been some resistance to the Instrumentalist occupation. However most people accept the fact that the prophecy will come true and they will be freed. Now for a story about the grand machines that the singers and instrumentalists use. The machines vary on design but their premise is the same, all were derived from the Prelude machines. But these machines have very intelligent artificial intelligent units. They interact with the pilots and even forge strong bonds with the pilots. However, they are flawed and sometimes the singer machines will become corrupted. They question what the elders do and this causes the pilot to do the same thing. The process is horrible. An A.I. Is taken into purging of corrupted files. When in fact this erases all emotions for a short time in the system. Though an Instrumentalist machine is one that has been saved from this purification process. Though taken from their original pilots the A.I.s are extremely overjoyed to be away from the horrors of having their feelings wiped from existence. Even though they might be destroyed they are glad to be free. The Prelude to Harmony and Destruction though are old machines that have been around for at least a thousand years plus. No one knows where they come from or how they arrived on earth and came into the possession of the singers. But a legend has said that the first two pilots lost their souls into the machines. The soul trapped in the Prelude to Destruction has become like the systems in the Instrumentalists? machines. While the Harmony?s soul is still young and learning. [/FONT][/COLOR]

A sidenote to this. This rpg is a remake of my old rpg that I did a few years back. Anywho, just thought I'd let you mods know just in case. The dos and don’ts of the world always seem to not apply to those who lay them down, yet it is those who have laid them down who seem to think they can flaunt them, but if someone else were to, those people would chastise them. Is this because they consider themselves superior, or is there more too it? No one wants to be honest anymore, they hold meetings in secret and have spokespeople say that “It will be just a little longer,” but nothing is ever done to relieve the problems of the world. The politicians are too concerned about filling their pockets with money and staying in office. A mother weeps, a child cries, and a wife looks on in disbelief. This scene has become the norm in most places in the world because of the hatred and greed that is generated. The life of this planet is all of its own. Its is much like that of a dance that never ends, but where there is a dance there is a singer and a musician. The singers are people who bring peace and harmony to this chaotic world, they also bring the light and fight for it. Yet, there are always the Instrumentalists. The Instrumentalists are Singers who have become evil either by force or by their own will. They have become tired of fighting for the light and deem it senseless and ignorant. Of course, some of their evil can be dispelled by the song that our chosen one sings. Our battles have now escalated to the field of using mechas and will remain that way until something new happens. Unfortunately, only the chosen one who guides the Prelude to Harmony is the only one who can save our brothers and sisters, only will its song free them and bring them back to us. So we wait, we wait for the one who was chosen. But unfortunately, there is the sad truth that a person who is close to the chosen one will become his/her enemy and pilot Prelude to Destruction. Our hope dwindles and we fear that the chosen one will not appear soon enough, we just hope that the young boy, whose name means peace and harmony will come forth and accept his fate as our savior. In sports he was decent but he felt no need to participate except to get away from home. He always wanted to pilot one of the machines that were being used now. To be free in the sky, to do whatever you wanted. It looked like the life. However when Zoltin turned 17 he was approached by one of the priestesses of the temple and foretold of his destiny. In the land of music two will rise One for harmony, one for discord. The child cries for compassion. The adult screams for acknowledgement. Two friends bathed in blood. To the ends of time they will fight. Until a song is sung to bring forth peace. Needless to say Zoltin was surprised if not bewildered. He didn’t understand until he came home and was informed of his birthright. He was to chose which great machine he was to pilot. [SIZE=1][COLOR=Blue]Having not been on OB or online for that matter during this time I'm just basically catching up on this whole ordeal. First off I want to say to those who got screwed by those three jerks. I'm sorry that you guys had to suffer that kind of crap. Especially Panda and her husband, Kei, and Adam. I mean, what kind of lowlife does that to good natured people who are trying to help out with a charity?! The behavior demonstrated by those three are a perfect example why some people walk right by another person who is in need. Or why I see so many people walking by a Salvation Army bell ringer during the Christmas Season. Too many darn people are pulling scams that tug at heartstrings and its just flat out disgusting. Secondly. I'm glad those three scumbags are being hauled off to prison. They not only messed with voice actors, but anime con goers, you guys from The Otaku and countless others too and that's not right at all. So I'm glad that those three are losing a ton of money, going to prison for quite awhile. Maybe they'll have learned something after sitting in a nice little concrete cell for a few years. And the fact that they won't be able to get a decent job because what they did is going to haunt them for the rest of their natural lives. I bet their parents are really ticked off at these three. Thirdly, I have to agree with James on the relationship between MyO, OB, and The Otaku. Granted TheO is the parent site of OB and MyO but like any kid, OB and MyO have grown up and are going out on their own. TheO is still a popular site, I mean I remember when there wasn't any real news coverage, this was back in early '01, and now look at the site! Its been re-done to host news coverage and such. So kudos to Adam and James for what they've done thus far with all three sites.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Blue]OMG! I'm addicted to where I work which is Schlotzsky's. We have some really good sandwhiches. I swear I've gained some weight from eating our food. Chipotle is also very addictive. I love their Fajita burritos. I'm also addicted to Oreos, much like taperson, I just can't get enough of them.
