For more information on that series you should check out mahq.net. Now for the appeal. I believe what appealed to me with Gundam was the character development and the mecha designs. With the original MSG I was drawn in because of the plot twists and how it seemed like neither side was in the right with what they were doing. Also, I think the appeal was also with the model kits.

With that he turned his attention to his notepad, when he realized that he'd been writting down shorthand notes about these kids the whole time he was listening. [I]"Great, I'm actually starting to think I'm turning into one of those shrinks."[/I] Jacob thought as he smirked inwardly. When he finally came back from his quick daydream he could still hear Sara crying so Jacob decided this would be the best time to throw in some helpful words and for a break from everyone else. "Okay, how about we all take ten minutes of a break, I think all of us need something in our stomachs." With that most of the kids, including Jacob dispersed or left the room entirely, Jacob managed to catch Sara just as she was fleeing to the bathroom. When he caught up to her he placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Sara. What happened to you is inexcusable, your parents should not have thrown you out and their comments were very wrong. They had no right to call you a whore, you're young, kids make mistakes all the time and it was a mistake." Jacob flicked aside one of his bangs. "But right now you are carrying your child and that something to be happy for. Don't worry, there are some great people here who can help you get a job and a place of your own." Who Jacob was referring to was the fat over weight slob of the career director for youths that worked down on the first floor in a cramped office that seemed to get smaller every day because the man seemed to put on just about twenty pounds of doughnuts. He could be a real ass but Jacob knew that if he played his cards right he could get this guy to help Sara get a job and a house, "Just let me make an appointment for you and I'm sure things will work out." A small hiccup escaped the girl's mouth as she nodded and Jacob let her go into the restroom. On his way back to the room he saw Mase sulking on a bench in the hall, Jacob pulled up a seat next to him. "I'm sorry that you had to go through that experience with kids in elementary school but I'm glad you came here for some help. Look, I know someone who has some anger management classes," Jacob chuckled at this, "In fact, he's the guy who got me in this professiion." Jacob wrote down the guy's name and what room he was having his classes in. "I'll make an appointment for you." Mase nodded somewhat as Jacob got up and walked back in and sat down in the seat he'd been sitting in for the past hour. When everyone filed back in or walked back over from the coffee pot Jacob looked around and pointed to Yuki. "I do believe its your turn to talk Yuki."[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=Navy]Jacob got a look of surprise on his face with the personalities of the last three people. As he scribbled down some notes down near Esau's name he cleared his throat and looked at the group as he placed his pen down and stood up in front of the group. "Okay, since I've been introduced to all of you, I'll introduce myself. My name is Jacob, I'm twenty-three years old, I big interests are swimming and helping kids. I really like listening to just about any kind of music, and I'm a big Family Guy fan." With that Jacob sat popped his left knuckle, then spoke again. "All right, I was thinking that since we have time we could start telling each other about our pasts. Sara, would you please start??" Sara was still sitting down as she started into her story. As she began Jacob pulled out another pen and started jotting down a few spare notes as back up, mainly because he was supposed to but he didn't enjoy this because it took him away from paying attention.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]I really like how this story is taking these dark twists and turns, it really rivets the reader to the screen ^_^[/SIZE]

His routine was normal for the most part, he got dressed, got his coffee at the star bucks, and then headed to his job. As soon as he walked in the door the director of the shelter came over to him with a frazzled grin. ?Good to see you here Jacob, look I know its kind of early but could handle this group discussion? Its dealing with these troubled kids.? Jacob just had a deer in the headlights look. ?Umm.. Are you sure I can handle it?? He asked gingerly, ?I mean this is my first day here.? The director nodded at this, ?Yeah, I know, its your first day but if you can handle this for me I would greatly appreciate it. Basically you just need to get these kids to open up to each other and to you. Just go with what your gut instinct tells you .? With that, Jacob was thrust into the room where a group of teens were gathered. They all turned their heads and Jacob could already tell they all had something on their minds. Smiling as he took his seat that was facing the entire group he made sure his I.D. was clipped onto his shirt. ?Good morning guys and gals. I guess I?m going to be with you, my names Jacob. The group of twenty people came towards the chairs from the small refreshments table. A couple of the people had Styrofoam cups of coffee and eyes that spoke volumes. The young counselor, Jacob, had just started today and was eager to help these people. However when he?d gotten into the room and seen that most of these people were practically kids, maybe a few years younger than him. So he was a little shocked when he was given this group. Once everyone had taken their seats Jacob introduced himself and the rest of the people introduced themselves and once it returned back to Jacob he spoke up. ?Okay, now that we introduced ourselves how about we start with you.? Jacob said as he pointed to the individual sitting at the six o' clock position in the circle. The person stood up and began. Okay, basically this rpg is basically about teens from every walk of life, the story is set in New York and will go in chapter format. Basically it will be one chapter will be started by me and then the character will follow up by introducing him/herself and then there will be some twists and turns with character development in that chapter, I will not only play my character Jacob but some key people in the other character?s life. Basically meaning your character could be a kid that was rich and was caught doing something like having sex with someone of the same sex and was kicked out of their house and is now living in this group home, or your character could be a normal kid except he/she was a drug addict and is now recovering and such. Basically its going to be the nitty and gritty of the city. I?m not going to require biographies because that would just be repetitive biography typing for you guys I really hope you guys enjoy it and can come up with extremely good biography/stories. Okay, first off to beat a dead horse even more. Anime is not dying, in actuality its thriving here. The only problem is that 4kids has been getting their hands on too many of the anime franchises and then they've been screwing the animes over royally with their evil dastardly editing, and I'm sorry their voice actors are below sub-par. I've watched a lot of Gundam and a majority was unedited. I haven't watched SEED except for the first five episodes and that's due to the fact that I'm getting the series on DVD and not relying on TOONAMI and plus I hate sitting through 10 minutes worth of commercials and only 5 minutes of show. But serioulsy, some series are better off being on DVD only, I mean Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta is out on DVD and its a good thing because Kill 'em all Tomino really has a rampage with killing people off and the last episode is pretty violent, so many horrible deaths. SEED has me wondering if Tomino didn't do some of the scripts, espeically with the way two characters die horribly! But anyways, 4kids is the only company that should never do animes because they are getting too many for starters and then they butcher the stuff they have. Stuff done by ADV like RahXephon, Full Metal Panic, Evangelion are pretty good. That's all I have to say.

Ismet became a different person, his coordinator powers appeared on the surface more often and then one day while he was seventeen at a fencing class his coordinator prowess emerged and he was able to respond with lightning quick reflexes but he was then shunned and he eventually left his grandparents home and went to the Orb country. For the past year he?s been living in peace working at the Orb military base and has been around the gundams since construction and is rather familiar with the cockpit and controls (seeing as how he helped design the OS.) [B]Mech Description:[/B] This mobile suit still retains the original Strike Gundam look except now the armor is colored and it now carries a Tactical Arms backpack which is like the Astray Blue Frame?s. It can separate and change into a large gatling gun or an oversized sword. Unfortunately, both of these units are so heavy that they can only be used in a zero gravity enviroment (e.g. space or water) to try and use these units on solid ground would mean the mobile suit?s limbs would crumble under the weight. In CE 80 the Earth Alliance gave the extremist anti-coordinator group Blue Cosmos a grant to become a branch of its military division. More like they gave Blue Cosmos free reign to do whatever they want such as cause mayhem for the coordinators. One such feat was on December 25, CE 80 when the Blue Cosmos arrived at a colony where a mass protest was taking place in response to the Earth Alliance?s allowing of the Blue Cosmos to become a military branch. The response to this was cruel and up there with the holocaust committed back in 1945 by Adolph Hitler. Blue Cosmos drained the colony of all breathable air and pumped poisonous gas into the colony and killed every single thing. ZAFT quickly responded by sending a fleet of ships to the colony, they then destroyed the Blue Cosmos task force but not before questioning the commander of his motives and it was revealed that the commander did it for sheer pleasure, at that instant the ZAFT ships opened fire and destroyed the Blue Cosmos ship. After the battle was over the ZAFT fleet hacked into the colony?s navigation computer and sent it in for a crash course to earth. The Earth Alliance tried to stop this catastrophe but they soon realized it was futile, their space forces were too little and too thin. All that was accomplished was that the colony was blown in half and one half exploded over North America releasing a plant killing virus created by ZAFT, it was later discovered that the colony had in fact been a massive lab for designing biological weapons and that the virus only killed plants of certain types, mainly wheat and corn plants. The other half of the colony harmlessly landed in the Mediterranean Ocean and has remained submerged. This entire incident was named Christmas Day Massacre. In the past five days though, both sides have begun readying for a massive war that threatens to engulf everything in destruction. However, not every single earthling is ready for war, the pacifist nation Orb has tried to negotiating with both ZAFT and the Earth Alliance but both refuse to listen to Orb?s pleas for civil behavior and for both of the angered sides to go into a full investigation. One conference held in Paris resulted in the Earth Alliance delegate walking out of the conference all together. The true intentions of the Earth Alliance have been shrouded and kept secret by the Blue Cosmos since they have gained enough power to control all of the Earth Alliance. ZAFT on the other hand has made it clear that they are going to conquer the Earth Alliance and they?ll do it by any means possible. While remaining pacifistic the Orb faction has been secretly hording its resources and has built and rebuilt five gundams they are: Strike Gundam, Red Astray Gundam Frame, Blue Astray Frame Gundam, Freedom Gundam, and Sword Calamity Gundam over the past three months. Along with these gundams being rebuilt they have given them the Neutron Jammer Canceller device, Orb got its hands on the original device and blue prints when they salvaged what was left of Freedom. Also, the Archangel has been re-commissioned for active duty to carry these five mobile suits around. Along with these five mobile suits being built, Orb constructed thousands of Astrays and made them strong enough to wipe out any EA suits. Finally, when all of this was completed the Orb government decided it needed five pilots for the Gundams. Okay I would like the following. Jayme said as he mocked an old sailor he'd once met while getting some fish at the market. Carmen blandly stared at him and he took that as his cue to leave the bridge. Jayme decided that he shouldn't waste the eggs at the moment because who knew when they'd need them. Instead he had chopped up and grated two potatoes into hash browns and was cooking some bacon instead, the smell unfortunately attracted some unwanted guests. The first guest had been Bane, he came down the steps and looked in the galley like a kid whose mother was making cookies and Jayme shot a glare at him that basically said to get out. The second guest was Jakob and he was about as curious as Bane so a look did it for him. The third guest was Natalie who needed to be yelled at to get out. Finally Carmen came in and Jayme could practically see the drool coming off her mouth, clenching his teeth he had asked Carmen to leave but she refused to and that's when things got heated. "Get out of my kitchen!!" "You're kitchen?! Just who the hell do you think you are!?" "I'm the only thing keeping you guys from eating off of dirty plates and other things!!" "What in the same hell is that supposed to mean you jackass?!" "It means get out of my kitchen or I'm putting a cycling combination lock on the fridge!!" At this the rest flinched and they heard Carmen storming up the stairs with a flustered look on her face as she slumped down onto one of the couches with a defeated look on her face. A few minutes later Jayme came up with two plates and placed them on the table and stalked back down for three more and then disappeared and reappeared with the silverware. When everyone was finished Jayme picked up the plates and walked back down to his domain and shut the door.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Storming over to the drawers that were attatched to the bottom of the bunk beds Jayme pulled out a fresh set of clothes and a towel and stalked down towards the shower. The room was dark but when Jayme turned the lights on he noticed a large arachnid scurrying up into the ventelation shaft. Somewhat glad he closed the door and locked it and then proceeded to wash himself. After Jayme finished with his shower he walked back into his quarters which he also shared with Jakob and strapped on his shoes. Once he was fully dressed he headed towards the room Jakob was in. When he was about to unleash his fury he saw Jakob was looking at a letter. "This thing was left in the message box after I got rid of all the crap." Jakob said as he pointed at the letter displayed on the screen. Jayme nodded and set off to get ahold of Carmen.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Well, the game just ended and the Patriots have won the game. But I'd like to look back at the pre-game show and half-time. The pre-game show as a whole was just flat out amazing, I was really pleased with how it was presented. The half-time show was a lot better than last years (wardworbe malfunction my butt) I really enjoyed watching Paul McCartney. In all honesty both teams played great and it was a close game so both teams deserve a round of applause.
