Interesting, most interesting

If you're looking for background images and the like poli7777777 I suggest you use the Art by Request sub-forum, and once you upload the image it should tile itself. Hope I've been on some help.

Well all tou need to do is click on edit style's and pick color's then go to a site with your fav. character's picture and type in the site's picture's URL and your all set. Well you'll know what im talking about with the URL when you see it. :catgirl: :animeswea .

Aside for the fact that hotlinking is not really encouraged/allowed.

Yes, you do 'ned' some help. If you find an image that you think would make a good background, save it to your computer and then upload it to Imageshack. Copy the 'direct image' URL that it gives you when uploaded. Then, back to myOtaku. Go into 'Edit Styles' and 'Add Background Image', and paste that URL in there.

It will likely be another crappy, eye-numbing background like far too many out there, but nevertheless, a background it will be. Enjoy.

This thread is also in the PC/Mac forum here. Maybe they should be moved/merged?

Now, for music, it's sort of the same as a background. In this case, you'll need to find the midi you want and have somewhere you can upload it to yourself because places like Imageshack are for images only. Once you have it uploaded, go to Edit Profile and scroll down to the bottom. From there, you can add music to your site by putting the URL of the song into the URL textbox.
