[size=1][b]The sound of the bolt being moved in its mechanical way. That was the thing she needed. The sniper, whomever it was, had finally made one mistake.

The single noise allowed Teigra to approximate where the sniper was hidden. The bolt's sound was metallic enough not to echo around the cathedral as much as the barrage of bullets were. She looked around the pillar a bit, carefuly not to let the sniper see her sneak around.

She knew there was something wrong with that stained glass window. There was a completely black shadow at the bottom of the window. At first, Teigra thought it was a container of some sort, stored way up high on the supported bridgeway that spanned over the main entrance of the cathedral. He was there. She just knew it.

Taking a great leap from the pillar to the wooden pews, Teigra took two shots at the sniper, missing him widely. She could hear him sniggering up there laying down on the floor of the bridging. A barrage of bullets hit the wooden pew, splintering it. Teigra lay behind it, her hands covering her head. She took out the other of her H&K P8s. She could see where he was from where she was on the floor.

Teigra stood and shot seven more times, each missing the sniper. He shot a couple more times at Teigra as she ran and hid behind another marble pillar on the opposite side of the room. Smiling from behind the pillar, she took one more shot, and yet again missed the sniper. Teigra could now clearly hear him chuckle loudly from the bridging.

Then it happened.

A large crack echoed through the cathedral. The sniper suddenly fell silent. He turned his head to see a large area of the stained glass window behind him crack and fall towards him in one big pane. He tried to scramble out of the way but the glass collided with his head and shattered in thousands of pieces. This was just the distraction Teigra needed.

She threw a rope up to the bridging, a grappling hook at the end. It caught the railing, allowing Teigra to climb up behind him. The sniper felt Teigra land on the bridging, whirled around and tried to bring his rifle to her head, only to find her gun was already at his. He looked shocked.

Here was a girl that he thought was the worst shot in the world, only to find out she had everything calculated down to the last detail. Now she had the upperhand. The sniper smiled, thinking of something that could save his life.

He quickly grabbed her arm and flung himself and her out of the stained glass window, shattering more glass. They were free-falling through the air. Next stop, stoned pavement. Teigra was rolled onto her back, so that it wwas the first thing to hit the pavement along with any glass that was going to slice it on impact. Thinking quickly, Teigra had to get out of this situation otherwise she would be killed.

At that moment, she flipped the sniper around, so his back faced the ground at the last moment. There was a sickening crunch as Teigra landed on the sniper, the glass underneath him slicing into his back, neck and head. It was rather gruesome. She felt his body buckle underneath her as she landed on him.

Stumbling off him, Teigra made her way to the bench and sat down underneath the light and gave a sigh.

OOC: Alright, this has gotten REALLY slow. This RP isn't over, but I think that this particular thread of it is. We probably need some time to just get over Assassin Academy for now.

As such, Assassin Academy is suspended. Not closed eternally, but a mandatory vacation of sorts is now in effect. I need some time to think out the next step in the storyline, so I hope yo enjoyed this chapter. I'll be working on Assassin Academy 2 for about the next week or so.

See you soon. Hopefully.
