After a long, long, [I]long[/I] wait (as in, a nine year one), the long awaited sequel to one of the most popular, most highly modded, and most highly praised games ever created, [I]Starcraft 2[/I], has finally been announced.

A high amount of new features are being introduced for the galactic saga; that we can be sure of. But so far, we know of only a few...

AMAZING! Wow, I've been waiting forever for Blizzard to make it official, and they finally got around too it! The vids look amazing, just incredible; the graphics are [i]sick[/i] and some of those new units look out-of-this-world sweet!

Those gameplay vids were just spectacular, it's like watching a really awesome sci-fi movie! The Protoss look completely different and the Terran are as cool as always, though I havn't seen much of the Zerg as yet. Oh man it's going to be so awesome! Korea must be going crazy right now![/COLOR]

Ive been waiting forever for this game i cannot wait for it to come out. I went to Blizzcon and grabbed some starcraft 2 shirts as well as saw a sneak demo of it which was awesometacular. As soon as that game comes out it'll be another 2-4 years of hermitism....at least haha.

[font="Tahoma"][color="#696969"]It's here! It's finally here! I would've posted in this thread earlier but I was playing too much Starcraft 2 to care! Please tell me there are other Otakus out there that got this wonderful, RTS masterpiece.

Blizzard completely blew all of my expectations out of the water, especially in terms of the campaign which is about 10 times longer and more detailed than Brood Wars (and that may be an understatement, it's huge). I love the new Battle.net and its features although I'm still awaiting chat rooms. Still I only really play with my friends so Party Chat works fine.

The matches are just... insane. I'll go into that when I know someone else here plays but I will say that I play Zerg and if you can't deny my rush at the beginning it's GG. Consequently it's a lot easier to rush with Terran now too (Reaper rush can be just as deadly, if not more, than a Zergling rush).[/color][/font]

That being said, because he has a 'hearing' problem he plays with the sound all the way up. Is there, do you know, a way to get rid of the flavor text that is spewed every time he makes a single action? If I hear those idiot space marines say "you can count on me!" one more time, I may reformat his hard drive with vinegar and rubbing alcohol.

I love Starcraft! I've been a fan for quite some time now. Anyone play Starcraft 2 online? Haven't played it much so I'm a noob but it's fun playing with people.
