Scream, Aim, Fire: Another Epic fail for BFMV?

The new album, Scream, Aim, Fire, is another attempt by Bullet for my Valentine, a not-so-epic metalcore band. I had their album, The Poison, and after a few songs (2) it was a snore-fest.

But is the new album another epic fail, or are BFMV headed for better career?

I've heard hte single Scream, Aim, Fire, and to be honest, I was surprised. At first I didn't know it was them. Now, the song isn't anything spectacular, or even special, but for BFMV, it was actually pretty good, even though I wouldn't buy the album for fear of wasted money.

So, has anyone bought or even listened to this album? If so, is it better than the last, are they headed for the right direction, or are they falling even deeper into the Ocean of ****** Metalcore?

I hear it's heavier than their older stuff. I havn't heard th entirety of the new single, just because, I don't really listen to the radio or watch MTV all that much. I bet it's just another chugga chugga, chorus filled salute to metalcore..

If you're into metalcore, then get it. Metalcore isn't ******, it just doesn't have many originals in the genre.

Every time I try to listen to this I find some other better mathcore/hardcore band to listen to and skip it entirely. Everything I have heard from bfmv has been mediocre but I wouldn't call any of it straight bad except for maybe a few songs.

It seems to me that you like them and are to scared to admit it so you can continue to say all metal core sucks.

I Agree, Most Metalcore Does Suck. But there Can Be Exceptions. (As With All Types of Music (Except Rap.)) They're Cover of Metallica's Welcome Home Was Pretty Decent IMO. But what do I Know I Listen to Power and Symphonic Black/Death Metal. (GO DIMMU!)
