It was in Durham (sorta) and now it's in Raleigh. I started going two years ago because of a girl I met at school, so this'll be my third time. Anyone ever gone? Anyone going? What are you dressing as? Any stories to share of past experiences? Did you prefer Durham or Raleigh's location? Why? SHARE YOUR STORIES. >:U I'm dressing as Maka from Soul Eater, because I have brown hair and green eyes already. Just make sure that if you really want to get in something, you get there early because lines grow fast. And then the obvious things, like don't leave your money lying around, or carry too much cash with you, because I've heard of people losing lots before. There's no outside grassy area anymore with the new in city location, but there's a McDonalds really close by. That's where most people went last year. Otherwise I'd look into seeing what food places are on Hillsborough Street. Not stopping to eat/drink gets people in trouble sometimes. Passing out and stuff. akiodie Posted April 13, 2010 Share Posted April 13, 2010 $50 bucks? on what the entrance fee >.< - money - cellphone that's about it... i usually take all the stuff i buy up to my room or my car so i leave a lot of stuff in those places... ^^ i use to bring a messenger bag full of notebooks, an art pads, pens, pencils, sharpies it had all my convention badges from the previous conventions i'd went to as well as most of the concert tickets from jmusic shows, it had buttons all over it and is coated in people's signatures and drawings... but i had to retire it because it got to be so sentimental i was afraid of losing it... if that makes any sense... i'm thinking about starting up a new one though... I staffed it as a suit[security sort of] this year and am only now regaining consciousness[use of said consciousness] and so on and so forth.
