To love, and lose, they say
is better, to ,have not

I can see pure azure
as the breeze rattles on
perpetual peace
for once

I can see snow-fine sand
and crystal waters
they call for me
but I choose to ignore them

The sunsets are perfect
a full rainbow pulled
over the sky in beauty

The people smile
in perfect happiness
but still so fake
serving the rich and fat

I love the life
that I do not lead
because if I had it
I would be disgusted

I love this beauty
so natural and lovely
but the people poisoning it
are truly vile
and make this place
real

OOC: hey everyone from the BAHAMAS! I am loving the air and the perfect landscapes. Other tourists, the kinds that are loud and obnoxious and ruin a perfect sunset are the only thing that are pissing me off. I will be back tomorrow, so I will probably be on more. Talk to you guys from winter very very soon! Ja ne!

Nothing comes out
I try to scream
as I gasp for air
but am stifled once more

My mind refuses
a poor soul
thinking so much
to speak my thoughts

I can only watch
in helplessness
as the subjects leave
my thoughts wasted

I want to scream at them
"What do you think of me?!"
but I am no longer
in control of my voice

Everything else
affects my chords
binding them back
and stopping my breath

I suffocate from rules
and customs
and lives
and cannot speak
to those I wish

I restrain myself
no longer alive
a shell of myself
my soul locked inside

it will break free
because it fights
and struggles
til its spark goes out

Losing what fragile control,
We liked to think we had,
And now that we're here,

Never join you in the sky,
Stuck on the ground unable to leave this spot.

down here under the stars
i feel free and completely undone.
never having to do anything
but sit and wait for them to take me home.
back home to space
where my life will be complete.
how i long to be up there once more,
back in the home i once knew.

they know what i am.
they know who i am.
never have to say a word
simply live and die
beside the stars i love.

I will never see his face

He has hurt me physically

Then we dance and feel great joy
as my wrists join in my ploy
surrendering their lifeblood then

Not even looking heavenwards,
Because she isn't one of them.

Wings have been clipped,
And now she's here,
The earth angel that everyone knows,
But nobody cares about.

And although some might like her,
It's a passing emotion,
And while others are in love,
It's never really real.

Because nobody can love someone,
Who loves all of them,
And can't possible single out one,
To stay with for the rest of this mortal life.

Is she imortal?
No, she is simply an earth angel,
With no rights therin,
Except maybe one.

She loves them all,
No matter what they do,
And this love will be her undoing,
But she doesn't even care.[/color]

Sunrise flows like water upon flesh
to bless bare shoulders, caressing pallid skin.
She can feel the river stir beneath her boat,
a delicate shell that rides the rising waves.
Her breath is mist and gossamer in winter's icy air.
But winter is no more; this row will herald spring,
will summon warmth into the drifting water.
She is Moses, parting the seasons
as her oars part the wine-dark river below--
she is Venus, gliding to glory
on a single scalloped vessel.

Just alone, and calm,
And strong.

Wire shapes are rediscovered
Revived again from year-long slumber
Reindeer, Santa, holly leaves
Cookie-cutter Christmas trees.

Rolling pins are found again
Butter, sugar, shortening
Flour coating everything

And as the sugar flurries fall
It starts to look like Christmas.[/size]

The warmth is a flood,
Entering every part of them,
And spreading life,
Where there could only be death.

Echoes are heard,
Very slow and quiet,
And there is an overwhelming peace,

Time passes slowly
as words appear
to be swallowed by white
the keys are clacking furiously
but it means nothing

I cannot begin
no direction to take
I cry out in anguish
as my road turns south

I cannot take that one
it screams of wrong
I cannot go that way,
it is not where I can be

My brain is rattled
from the screen of blank
my letters piercing
a small part of paper's thick hide

I will see soon,
if I keep going
I will stumble,
broken and bruised
on the right road

and my journey shall begin

Two souls connect
physically and greater
I can see the energy
of happiness unbridled

From afar I observe
a watcher on the sidelines
of the energy unfolding before me
for two are in love

their tendrils enrapped together
they walk with a certain elegance
and I crack a smile
not of derisity, but satisfaction
detached, but still part
of a moment of inhibitionless joy

Two are in love
their love is known wide
they see none around them
their aura spreads wide
and I watch, alone
enrapted in the outskirts
of their joy

While pulling together.

Spread the clothing out,
Pick the favorites,
And don them with ease,
Then zip the boots up.

Walk out the door,
Down the stairs,
And head for the exit,

Then turn again,
And blink for the mascera,
Carefully blotting it,
Then use the glitter.

Careful now,
Line the eyes,
Make no false moves,
And then rub on lipstick.

Follow with lipgloss,
Purse your lips,
And blow a kiss,
