Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]

[COLOR=MediumTurquoise]We're falling,
Falling on all sides,
And nobody cares,
That we're so alone.

And each of us,
Become stone,
One after the other,
Falling so far.

To the earth,
To the ground,
Behind the world,
And everything else.

So come down,
To the sand,
Where we rise,
Like foam of the sea.

And we're happy,
Together here,
Seperately apart,
Coming together.[/COLOR]

My inner soul,
With your gentle touch.

You wanna spin your guns?
You wanna be a hardcore gangster
and rob liquer stores for fun?

You aspire to be a villan, huh?
You aspire to be proper and sheik?
You aspire to be a proper rogue
and become a covetous sneak?

You are a street fighting man, huh?
You are a gorilla in a suit?
You are a tough hombre
that never blinks before he shoots?

You going to get a real job, huh?
You going to earn your keep?
You going to find gainful employment
or are you gonna continue making mama weep?[/center][/color]

Come with me,
And we'll jump,
From this old cliff.

See those hills?
We'll jump them,
And find something,
On the other side.

Under this starlit canopy
I have come to understand
The shapless form of your beauty

Your flowing glass will wait for no-one
and refuses to be tamed -
Teach me my orgin
Bring me to my senses
Open the eyes of my eyes
And make me understand your presence
Inside of me -

In this place,

Swing your arms up,
Catch me when I jump,

Touching my head,

Then raising me again,

[size=1][color=crimson] Well I've never posted in this thread before. So here is my first poem ever posted in here.

I stand above thin ice
Waiting for what you are,
Shone in a velvet slice
Of curtains from afar,

Burning fires in the passionate night,
Sweet smell of righteous innocence,
Caught between my crimson plight
All blood swarms in cold resistance

A pool of limbs
In which I lay,
A severed hymn
From far away,

Nothing lets me be
In this dreadful constant sickness,
Never have I seen
All that is rapturous in the distant,

I must forget all that wore
On my own dreadful soul,
Please paint all my core,
All the blood soaked holes,

Bind me now or I will die,
In darkness upturned
Please unwrap me so I can thrive
In light I shall ever burn.

To rest against mine,
As we sit here,
And I drift away.

Your hands so warm,
On on my cheek,
The other resting,
On my hands.

And my knees curl,
Up against your lap,
As my eyes slowly,
Bring my lashes together.

I am comfortable,
Here with you,
I am safe,
In your arms.

And as I drift away,
To the darkest place,
The quietest realm,
I hear your voice...... .......somewhere.[/color]

Heh, it's hard to write poems without any angst for me. But I must say I really like this poem.

There's a village by a beach
It tells stories that we know
Yes, the beauty of a peach,
Moist lips that always show.

A girls hair strewn in the wind
Sitting upon a cliff basking,
From the village I'm asking
Of this beauty, all spin'd

Around by her countenance,
I see her there on the face
staring back, I'd dance
All day long, watching her pace.

Just for the beauty, I'd do anything,
Comparing her to the midnight moon,
Anything for her, many things
That I know I'd always do.

Love or lust, which one can it be?
I see less beauty from a grove Of flowers,
or the glistening cradle of the sea
Your beauty as always has it ever empowered. [/color][/size]

In open fields of wild flowers,
She breathes the air and fly's away,
She thanks to Jesus for,
The daisies and the roses,
Of no simple language,
Some day she'll understand.

The meaning of it all,
He's more than the laughter,
Or the stars in the heavens,
As close as heartbeats,
Or songs on her lips.

Some day she'll trust him,
Learn how to see him,
Some day he'll call her and she will come running,
Fall in his arms,
The tears will fall down and she'll pray.

raised up on a pedestal
before you can get there
on your own

You live for yourself
and die for no one
welcome to the family
and be content with
comfortable unhappiness

fading to the back drop
beneath the moon and night

Rises from the frozen waste,
Like steam from a rice cooker,
Like a wellspring of water.

The Dawntime,
Pours its light down on us,
Like a fond embrace,
Like a gentle caress.

The Equinox,
Is a time for new beginings,
Like a tilting of the earth,
Like a spreading of something more.

The People,
Are of the sunlight,
Like newborns in the spring,

I am the pale shadows,
The cool eveningtide,
That comes when the sun goes away,
And the simple silver stars.

Dreaming longer,

I am the quiet mornings,
The stilness coming,
That brings a new life to earth,

Be Still, fair heart
let hands do the work
stay still, mind alight
and let the body flow

Neither heart nor mind
can do these things
that are set before you
only pain will come
if the heart is used

Too much emotion
for the mind to endure
more scars will form
more tissue will burn

The body must take
the brunt of the strike
the mind must stay idle
and relish in the light

For light will soon come
and the mind will awake
happy and free
in the brightness it sees

for mangled flesh
is easily healed
but my spirit is crowded

the things you've seen
the sins you've sinned

I've been smiling now
every day
since you passed him by

Angry because of you,
And your tangling words.

I am a dreamer,
Not a radical dreamer now,
Like someone I see,
But a quiet light.

I am a wish,
For those underneath my eyes,
That they will rise,

the molds of people set

my friend is there
I cannot bear
to see you get him yet

He is not yours
you selfish pig
and you have hurt us so

So die alone
and write the tome
of your cruel and voiceless life

empty words, self-centered views
a credo all your own
you've been the best
and pulled abreast
a person from sacred pews

Decency and friendship
set in the wood he sat
upon a bible of trust
and mindful of lust
for the power he wished he had

you pulled his mind
to your game of lies
and gave him what he wished
but now he's yours

but who will save, delve to the cave
of the man who sought friendship?

That I have some semblance,
Of a character,
That is admirable.

But I don't think I do,
And I think I'm tired,
Of being here,
In this darkened room.

I would love to say,
That I have good friends,
That truly care,
And love me.

But I don't know I do,
And I wish I could understand,
Why some live,
And some die.

I will now say,
That I care about things,
I shouldn't really care about,
And I feel things.

That I want to forget,
That I want to block out,
That I want to lose,
That I never will.[/COLOR]

but the path i was on always seemed to stray.

You said I wont be alone anymore,
But now I dont know what Im waiting for.

The shadows are chasing me in the dark,
And when I run I end up right back at the start.

Im tired of waiting come save me now,
I would save myself but I don't know how.

Im so afraid I don't know what to do,
I wish I would be more like you.

Its over now you never came,
And now, Ill never feel the same.

Now Im all alone again,
Ill never see you till the end my friend...
