Omnislash is 15 hits so 150,000-15, but yeah, Omnislash looks neater, Lionheart is stronger. (Plus Omnislash doesn't always hit straight 9,999s, and it doesn't have an added Renzokuken) And yes, it was Meltdown :updown: [/b][/size]

On my slot, I almost always hit LionHeart, or maybe Blasting Zone if not LionHeart Anyway, I don't know about you, but if I cast that vitality down magic (what's it called again?) then do LionHeart, I have about 4/5 hits of about 1,000 HP each, with a following LionHeart. That's about 50,000HP + 180,000HP damage. Anyway, I don't see how you can do about 23 shots in the 11 seconds (or whatever other time limits you get) that you have, considering how long some options are. But anyway, I rarely use Zell anyway, so you could be right :updown: But anyway...LionHeart isn't so reliable on your game? :confused:[/size][/b]

[b]The friendship item isn't the compatability stuff ^_^ It's where a moomba comes down and starts clawing at the enemy. Anyway, if you have the LionHeart, use it on Adel. For some reason, none of my other Renzokuken finishers come up against Adel, so I guess the same might work for you. And be careful, because right after that, you got to fight an annoying Sorceress boss that keeps multiplying and changing and stuff. Bottom line- Use Shell and Regen on Rinoa if you haven't got LionHeart (like everyone else said) :)[/b]

[b]Some limits to be learnt, need an earlier limit to be done so-so many times. Other limits need a number of monsters to be killed by that person. So maybe you either haven't killed enough [i]'baddies'[/i], or maybe you need to set your limit level down one level, and perform a limit a few more times ;)[/b]

[b]The best way to get limits up quick is to let yourself be 'Fury'ed. It's supposed to knock down your Hit Rate too, but I still rarely miss. If you wanna do it yourself, use a 'Hyper' (or whatever it is that cures sadness) when you're at a normal status :) [size=1]EDIT: I meant use hypers on all your chosen characters, and then battle a fairly-strong-for-your-standards-monster and weaken quite a bit. Then just keep curing yourself, and casting your limits, and curing the monster and yourself. That's what I did :updown:[/size][/b]

So really, when you ask what so-and-so-game-name's like, we can only tell you its system etc. OK, ignore all the above, I'm just really tired ---------------------------- I'm sure this doesn't count as a spoiler ---------------------------- (BTW, other ppl, feel free to correct this sleepy child) [u]System[/u] OK, FF9 used a Magic Stone system to build up abilities etc. for characters, right? And FF7 had Materia... FF8 uses the Junctioning system, whereby the GFs (Guardian Forces...AKA the Eidolons/Summons) can be 'junctioned' to playable characters, to give them status plusses. Magic is not in the form of spells using MP, but items, which are 'drawn' from normal monsters/enemies. These items are also 'junctioned' onto characters' abilities to improve them. Item-junctioning can only take place after a character junctions onto him/herself a GF/GFs. Certain GF can only give item-junctioning access to certain statuses. Some statuses can be accessed with some GF, by the GF learning abilities from AP from battles. Eg 1- Draw: In a fight, Squall's commands are: Attack Draw Magic Item The Draw command here means that Squall can absorb magic (item form, remember) of whatever element the monster is. He will then have that magic stocked up, ready to use in his Magic command, along with any other drawn magic. Eg 2- AP: Before the fight, you go to the GF menu, and choose an ability which you want the GF to learn. After a battle, you may receive say, 20AP. The ability you've chosen to learn may need 50AP to be learnt fully, in which case you will need a further 30AP to learn it :p Eg 3- Item Junctioning: Some statuses of characters can be improved by adding magic to it. A status may be, say 'HP' (can't remember proper String names). Attaching a large amount of a strong spell to it will boost it immensly, like say 100 (or was 99 the max?) Flares.
