Chocobo breeding is hard. I tried it so many times according to so many guides. Then my friend made up his own technique, that involved mating a C-Rank and A-Rank chocobo (instead of the usual S), which got him a Gold Chocobo in 3 days. So I gave him my memory card :p ------------------- EDIT: Oh yeah, the other thing I wanted to say: (spoiler?! wabblah!)
You get three parties in the final fight against Sephiroth, everytime. Two parties of three, and one party of two. Then that way, (I think) if your party ever dies, you can switch parties. But I wouldn't know, since my strongest party of Cloud-Barret-Red/Yuffie always took Jenova/B Seph/S Seph out. After you beat Sephiroth, whether or not you have Omnislash, as part of the story, Cloud breaks an Omni all over Seph. And you pretty much can't do anything else. No escape, no magic, or attack, or item, or summon. Well you can counter attack, according to my friend. I laugh at him, who hasn't seen Omnislash. *laughs at Jon*
Like Mztik_Gohan10, I'm a Muslim. I celebrate Eid. One after Ramadan, where everyone celebrates and family meet and stuff, having just fasted for 29-30 days; and one in two or three months' time, to celebrate behind the story of Ibrahim AS (Abraham) and Isma'il AS (Ishmael)

No-one can score past him (he's a Goalie) as he's about Level 10 whilst everyone else is still at Level 3. Go Jecht Shot, whoo!

Double Cut is cool. Especially once you get it to 4x Cut and you get a few other ones to give your other part members. That way, every turn with 4x Cut, you can take off (40,000-4HP). Double Cut would've be neater though if it could be linked with Counter, but no such luck. Another handy thing would be Omnislash, which could then be mimed by Cloud repeatedly, while the other two partymembers were left ready to heal. But yeah, most useful thing is Knights of the Round, with a W-Summon. MP Turbo that and you have (130,000-13HP) worth of damage that can be mimed for no MP charge :) ------------------------------------- You know, you shouldn't tell me to edit your posts. :whoops: Anyway, what do you mean by MP charge? Do you mean the cost or something? 'Cause I was sitting here thinking "Charging up MP, eh?" -Break You brought it up, lol. I meant MP Cost, not Charge. I'm sure everyone has them days when words just seem to disappear from your mind... -AJeh

I was born in London, UK, and stayed for about 2 years. I can still remember it, actually. Then we moved to Manchester, and had our own shop in a little area called Levenshulme for a year or so. We eventuallt had to close down the shop because of me. I basically would take ice cream out of the freezers, and eat the tomatoes, and put things where they shouldn't belong. I can remember these days as well (partly because I cut off most of my tongue x_x) Anyway, we moved to a nice area called Fallowfield (still in Manchester) where we lived until I was 8. Now we've moved to a not-so nice area called Longsight, but I still like it here. This is basically where I've lived for the past 6 and a half years of my life. Out of all those, my most favourite place would have to be Fallowfield, because of all the memories I have of what me and my cousins would get upto whenever they popped down (or up) from London. Places I've holidayed would be Bangladesh (when I was 5/6 and 11); Dubai (I don't know which country this place is in, but I visited when I was 5); Amman, Jordan (when I was 11), and India (when I was 11). More locally would include: Oldham (all the time), and London (all the time). Out of them, I'd have to say I loved Jordan the best. The hotel we stayed at for the whole time we were there was really fancy, and had about 3 different dining halls for different meals of the day. And the room service was excellent, I had my own large room, and I couldn't understand a single word on TV! :)

Which member would u like 2 meet in real life?
conpiracymonki replied to Boo's topic in General Discussion
I'd like to meet: (In no order whatsoever!! OB names used) Mainly: -Break The man with the dancing banana. Funny; makes nice comics; original in every way >_ -
I liked MGS2. The graphics were brilliant but not all it offered. I thought the storyline was something...new. I've never had a game that just messed with my head so much. And it tried some funny things as well, like the 'switch off your console' and the 'Fission Mailed' parts, and a few other things. The controls in that game were as close to perfect as possible, as well. Gah. I guess I can't explain it, but I think there's a lot more to MGS2 than just the graphics.

If you keep making the distance smaller, then the time it takes to make the distance will get shorter. So shouldn't it not really make a difference at all in the first place? Like if you take the distance you can travel and split it into millionths, then each millionths of that distnce will still take only a millionth of a second to travel anyway. Or.. *scratches head* It'll take me infinity to walk to shops that're 10km away, anyway
Originally posted by cloricus have a question for you guys; at its thickest point how many light years thick is the milky-way galaxy? (I know the answer so I'll be able to tell you right or wrong. HINT: Think Monty Python.)
Uh...Ni? Sorry, but what I posted for was to say that it is not a trick question. Mosquitos really do have teeth. Piro knows, and I've even looked it up.

Uh... weather is daily and climate is more of a monthly thing? *shrugs* How many teeth does a mosquito have? :D *looks at piro*

Gaming Your favorite video game hero of all time
Originally posted by Cyko Also, aren't these type of threads against the rules here at OB? :therock:
These types of thread are famous for starting silly little argumetns over who is the best etc etc, and that's why you're not supposed to make them. But this one seems pretty fun, and no-one's at each others' throats so I think the Mods have let it go on or something. Anyway: 1. Snake (Metal Gear games)- I'd say Liquid, but this is for heroes, so yeah. The guy's got a wildcard FOXDIE bomb ticking inside of him; the coolest attitude; he insults Otacon so easily (even though I think Otacon's cool too), and he can be so funny when he wants to be. (Like when he calls himself 'Pliskin', and when you see him running around in a carboard box, lol) 2. Frog (Chrono Trigger)- The Masamune wielder. He is so awesome. I still don't get how a frog can be so mysterious, so cool, and still pull off being so serious and likeable. 3. Cloud (FFVII)- Can I say Zack? If I can, pretend I just said Zack. That big sword, the attitude, the history, and that Omnislash. oof. -
The first quarter of 2003 in the US, eh? That means probably about another 6 extr months of wait for us... Anyway, Xei and James have seriously made me excited about this one and I can't wait. In fact, neither can my friends, lol. ;)
-
Yeah, like James said, the game was fairly easy upto where I played it (can't even remember where now) apart from those Yevon Temple puzzles where it's all dark and gloomy, or too bright to see, and the holes in the walls just camouflage themselves and the orbs and the... *Hates Shiva and Bahamut Fayth thing*

We have two weeks to go 'til Christmas Holidays, and I'm totally refreshed already, what with having had no school since Wednesday due to school problems, and religious reasons (EID!!!) Now to fill in the next 2 weeks, all we need is an early Bank Holiday Monday; a critical illness that runs amok in Manchester; a broken school boiler; a really big earthquake; and maybe a lawsuit against the school. Yeah. Life is perfect. Except when I lost my favourite trainers in school on Tuesday :(

Wow, that was real good. I'm not one for criticising, because I suck at noticing mistakes and such, but I thought that was different from any other form of poem I've read that I can remember. Two questions (which'll make me sound like a total idiot): What exactly are the cooties? (I've wanted to know that one for a logn time) And what does that 'Circle Circle Dot Dot' bit mean? :whoops: Sere, that still didn't help :p (Look below peeps)
-
C'mon! We don't need people that look like the characters to act as them. (Although it'd help a lot with keeping track of who's who) We need people that can act the part good, and can fight like them. Donnie Yen should be Kazuya but he looks younger than Kazuya is supposed to be to me. Jackie Chan should definitely be Lei seen as they both are comical people, and they look real similar, and Jackie could easily fight like that. Jet Li would make a fairly OK Law in my opinion, and an excellent Jin if they did a revamp and made new costumes for the characters. Yen and Li in another movie together *eyes water* *goes to watch OUATIC2*

Mancunian vocabulary = all slang... Dark/sick/awesome/mint/phat(I hate that one)/Nice/Oof- great/excellent/brilliant/very good: 'Played Tekken 4?' 'That's a dark game..' Check- look/listen. Also used for sarcasm and surprise: 'Check, yeah', 'Oi Check', 'Check -_-', 'Check!' Oi/yo/check (said really fast)- Attention grabbing noise/one-syllable word: 'Oi so-and-so' They're the obvious ones off the top of my head. Ones that me and my friend use also include: Prunehead, Poon, Nobbin, and things along those lines... --------------- Aaright Scousa? lol Liverpudlians is having strange accent. We use 'style' and 'class' too. Not that much though.

Vegeta's hair probably looked brown before he arrived on Earth because of the atmosphere of whatever planet he and Nappa were on, like in Namek, like TN said. I mean, come on, his suit looks orange-ey in the pod and planet. EDIT: Or was his suit greeny? Damn my memory...

In No Order Whatsoever Wutai, FF7- I like the oriental theme. The whole place is brilliant, lol. Black Mage Village, FF9- BMs galore, and a funny little tune to boot. How can you not like this place? Cosmo Canyon, FF7- Best tune ever, and the whole place is amazing. Lifa Tree, FF9- Or was it Iifa? I can't remember, but the tree looked pretty peaceful... looked peaceful, anyway Besaid, FF10- Another one of those calm places.

Yulaw stood before the Japanese hotel in awe. It was all paid for by Heihachi. Five star, and free of charge. He eyed it up and down, and stepped inside. 'Damn that guy's generous. And bloody rich too...' The men inside asked him a few things in Japanese. 'The hell?!' He had no idea what they were saying. But as soon as he slapped them his invitation to the Iron Fist Tournament, they all hushed and took him to his room.

HEY?! What was wrong with MGS2? I'm not exactly a Raiden fan, and I prefer Liquid over Solidus, but that game was awesome. (I completed it about an hour ago o_o;) The dog tag collecting, the guards' reaction to being aimed at with a Stinger at the testicles, lol. The game is so detailed down from hitting your head inside a locker to the way the smoke blows with the wind in the Tanker level. I can't wait for Substance... more seagulls to murder Heh Heh
