1. Actually, the question did say the 15th Lindblum War ;) And it didn't start in 1600. (1601, lol) And you can defeat the Ragtime Mouse :) I love the random knowledge I possess :whoops: EDIT: I fixed tag, and I have no idea about your Dyne question.
2. Ross -_- I haven't even seen the film, lol EASY QUESTION: FF7, what are the names of Aeris' real parents, and the woman who raised her?
3.
Originally posted by BabyGirl Roxie, I was reading your post and I REALLY like the name Diego. For some reason it reminds me of an animal that was personified in an animated movie, but I think it's an awesome name.
o_o Diego from Ice Age? Anyway, I've never really thought seriously about real names before.. But if I do choose to name my children (my family has a tradition of letting relatives suggest names first), I might name one of the girls Jan. Which'd be short for Jannah, after my eldest little sister. Which means Heaven/garden.
4. The wolf came to a halt, panting furiously. It looked back sharply, and not sensing any movements or noises, calmed down. It gave its head a quick and rough shake, and almost immediately dried its coarse silver coat. It cautiously walked on. And as it walked under a bald spot in the forest, the wolf eyed the fading silhouette of the helicopter against the bright light of the moon...
5. For a beginner, I'd say take on FF7. Mainly because I thought it was very very very nice :) Actually, because it is neither too difficult, nor too hard, and it doesn't seem to rely on graphics, and yet has decent enough graphics not to put you off the whole game (as a beginner). And it has lotsa sidequests too, and it's a cheap and easy buy :) Although you might wanna try FF8, or 9, or maybe even 10. Depends on what you're like, I guess...
6. Final Fantasies have long stories, with characters you can easily recognise with, and understand. And each one has its own twist, be it the system (like the EsperMateria/Junction/Magic Stone systems etc.) or the any other odd little things. And yeah, it takes about 2 hours of gaming before you actually can see past the turn-based battle systems. (Or atleast it took me that long) o_o' And the FMVs are for each Final Fantasy are way ahead their time (Eh...the ones that have 'em) o_o'
7. lol YYH, He meant FF12, not FF10-2 ;) And yeah, it looks beautiful. It makes me think... golden...dark ages.. o_o Don't say a word..
8. OK... I've started the thread now, and yeah... :) *PMs everyone a notice*
9. A young man washes his face in a river shining in the moonlit night. He steps into and disturbs the clear flowing waters, untying his hair. He glances at the moon, and lets himself, for a minute or two, to forget everything. The piercing silence of the forest convinces the man that he is safe for the moment, and he closes his eyes, and allows himself a content smile upon his face. Eyes, that open to the sound of a distressed howl, and a smile that is wiped away by the sound of shouts, gunshots, and the whirr of helicopters. 'That fast..' As he begins his sprint into the dark thick of the forest, his limbs seem to lose their firm shape, and he disappears... :)
10. Name: Gael Sex: Male Warrior type: Scorpion Warrior rank: Scorpion captain :)
11. Yes you do, lol I remember seeing Alexander try to protect Alexandria with its wings against Bahamut, and all the black mages being sucked up by Atomos in Lindblum. Just remember the FMVs
12. Yes ¬_¬ The one where I was in the toilet during the countdown... Quiet you
13. Alexandria = Bahamut! And Atomos, the gate-thing = Lindblum
14. Atomos! Um.. simple one (I'm braindead right now..) QUESTION: At the end of FF7, how many years later do we see Midgar again,
in ruin
?
15. In our school we have a uniform ^_^ But yeah, if you wanna go by trainers, tracksuit bottoms, and bags, then everyone has whatever they feel like.
16. I'll give it to you :) It was Tantarian. I remember that because that's as far as I bothered to go :p
17. I can't wait for ZoE 2 In fact, I picked up ZoE for £15 yesterday. And yeah, doesn't seem to have the best storyline ever, but the graphics are beautiful, and the fighting is rapid, and fun. And that's all a game ever needs to be..: fun And maybe long too, hehe :p
18. Well I've been looking forward to it for a long time, anyway :) Stuff I found out a while back: A new company will be making this game, as to the other two (which suddenly makes me remember that I can't even remember what the other company is called *twitch*). A new mystery character can be unlocked after completing the game with both Ayame and Rikimaru; like Tenchu 2. However, the company (names forgotten) has decided to keep the character a secret. (Tatsumaru, maybe?) All there is a new item-special ability type thing. Everytime you perform a stealth kill, you receive a Japanese letter. Once they make up a word (or was it just 10 letters?), a new ability can be learnt, like mind control etc. And even though it is not clear in those screenshots, I'm sure Rikimaru gets lots of sets of clothes in this game. I've seen him wear a green, brown, white, red, and silver/grey suit. And I seriously doubt all of them were becasue of lighting ¬_¬ Anyway, there's lots more, but I have a sucky memory And yeah, MGS has a more stealthy type-thing going, for some odd reason. (Even though this is the ninja game, and MGS is the game with the Stingers and stuff) o_o
19. I get depressed when I finish a game >_< Anyway, I guess doodling has to be one obsession for me. I tend to doodle everywhere on my exam papers for luck (the perfect excuse ¬_¬), except below the line that says 'Nothing Below Here', and my name. Maybe 2% of my doodles actually ever get anywhere, and maybe only half of them a decent 'anywhere'.
20. One I used on my own character in an RPG: A guy has him lifted by the hair, and then sticks his other hand into his mouth; down his throat; and rips out his spinal cord. Trunks' body falls to the floor, still and lifeless. The guy drops the spinal cord beside Trunks. It's a heap of blood, jelly, and bone. Another one (simple) I used on myself: In a friendly spar match, he is grabbed from behind, and his body and head pulled in opposite directions. I like killing my own character in RPGs, lol
21. Evereybody likes 'Changes', lol. I think 'I'm Still Breathin' better, but that's probably because it's more paced.
22. Cloud = AB type blood :p Question: In FF9, during the race against Hippaul, at level 30, what card do you receive?
23. Not including DKO's answer above (seen as though Nerdsy hasn't said whether it is correct or not), a table!: Questions | OB____________| Original _| Answered | Screenname____|_ Tallies__| ___9___ __ GinnyLyn _________ iiiiI iiii ___8___ __ Desbreko _________iiiiI iii ___8___ __ Tasis _____________iiiiI iii ___6___ __ AJeh _____________iiiiI i ___5___ __ Bremma __________iiiiI ___3___ __ Nerdsy ___________ iii ___2___ __ Mitch _____________ ii ___2___ __ Final Flash _________ii ___1___ __ Valen _____________ i ___1___ __ Devlin _____________i ___1___ __ Break _____________i The table is in order of most questions answered, most to least, so far. In the tally line, 'I' is just every 5th answer. Whenever 2 parts of the same question was answered by 2 different people, one point was given for to everyone who answered a different part of the question. If more than one person answered the same question (same part), then the point was given to the first person. This isn't a contest or anything; I just thought I'd give a little update, me being that bored.
24. If you do the Elena-Yuffie sidequest thing at Wutai, then you have the option of whether or not to fight the Turks in the W-Item tunnel later. Obviously if that's the final showdown, then if you return to the Gelnika after that, no fight ^_^ I've never seen a copy of Mystic Quest in my life...
25.
Originally posted by TED Then I wonder, how could God have created the Universe and if the Universe encompasses everything, where did God come from? Also, how could one single entity control what was going on in the entire Universe, or even just Earth.
If God created the universe, then He created time and space along with it. So He's outside of space, and there is no where.. He's timeless and spaceless ..I think that's what I think It's like if you created a string puppet that came to life. If it never saw a human being, I don't think it could imagine its creator as being stringless. You are totally separate from what you create. I don't think God is just a force or an entity either. I think He's more than that, in that He is something unimaginable to us, again, because we can't understand anything outside of time and space, like the puppet. Doesn't think he has put his across as well as he could have >
