1. Yeah they were good choices, but now I'm looking for some new ones in 2003! I still have some money so bring on some suggestions please. I don't mind either X-Box, Gamecube or PS2 games now :demon: thanks ....
2. You can post or just vote, but if you post I would like to have an explanation why it is your favourite Mech please. :) Can't think of mine right now hmmm? I'll get back to you on that. Grant :demon:
3. I don't think Dead to Rights is going to be that big a hit next year. I like the original idea of the dog and loads of blood, :D but that's it really. I don't think the graphics look great on Dead to Rights, but awesome on Ninja Gaiden! Of course MGS2:Substance is going to get overated reviews, but that's what I was aspecting from making MGS and MGS2 which were excellent games. The game is really to make up to their fans as most people played as much game as they did watch cut scenes (including me). Hopefully it will be much longer with all these VR missions and extras. I think it will be fun on the skateboard and playing as Cyborg Ninja should hopefully be super cool, so I can get ready for Ryu of Ninja Gaiden and slice people up ooooh :excited:
4.
Originally posted by Zidane Hmm, I dont know if I'm ever going to have kids, he he, but i'll probably change my mind. I'd have to say, I'd name my boys to be Leo, or Ken. And for girls, perhaps I'd name one Kelly, or Honour. I just think original names would be great to grow up with.
I want my child (if I have one, hopefully) to have an original name it would be better than the average common name. Kelly ain't terribly original and Honour she may get ripped apart with that name as times change (more bullying). I thought you would want your son to be called Lucas lol as you say it everytime you see me. Leo and Ken are cool names (computer game's names come in handy I see) At the moment I would probably call my son Harry and as for a girl, maybe Joanna hmm? I can't think right now, but it doesn't matter I suppose I ain't in the situation to name a child, well not right now anyway ;)
5. My best moments have all came from Resident Evil so far as games like Metroid Prime aren't out in England. My favourite bits would have to be
Richard getting eaten by either Yawn or Neptune depends who you play as, the really ugly and scary Lisa jumping of the edge when she sees her mothers face (hilarious when she shouts mother and dives off lol), and the other good moment was right near the end, the twist of Wesker turning bad is really good!
I like games like RE with alternative ending scenes it makes me want to play again!
6. I don't use my large controller as I feel the buttons are far to close together which can be vital in a game if you press the wrong button. The 'Compact S' I just feel I can grip onto it easier. Buttons are more spread out and I find I can click on start and back button easier when it's under the left analog stick. I also don't have to reach high for the black and white button. Basically I think the 'Compact S' is simply better and looks rather cool as well!
7. Okay Okay so FFVI and FFVII it is. Zelda and Pokemon both come out in Spring some time over in England. Chronicles won't come out till November, FFXI and FFT are TBC at the moment so I would be waiting for a while so I will have to get use to the game on FFVI and FFVII. Thanks for the help I hope I enjoy the games as much as you lot do.
8. Alright, Alright I'll get it lol. It's probably only £5 or something a long the lines of that, but I definetely want a new one as well! So if anyone has information that can make my mind up please post. Also I could be interested in buying one of the GBA games they are making on FF (Tactics and Chronicles), but I'm not sure whether there is alot better games such as Legend of Zelda: A link to the past, Metroid fusion, Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire, Golden Sun: The lost age, etc. What do you think ... Needs serious help too much excitement for one night and it's 3:05am here so better sleep on it. Edit: Sorry I didn't see your last post. I would prefer to wait for the new GBA RPG's though. Yes I will get FFVII, maybe FFVI.
9. Now I also hear there is a FF Tactics Advance, but it's not going to be like the old PS game. It's supposed to be the best turn based on the GBA since Advance Wars, so I'll be likely to get that, Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire, maybe Chronicles (GBA), Metroid Fusion and also the Zelda one for GBA is going to be really good ARGH! I like RPGs on the GBA, but still not sure what to do hmmm? I really doubt I would play FFVII if it's a PSX game, because that's what I'm like really, so it's really out of Chronicles, FFX, FFXI (hopes I get broadband sounds good stuff) or if it's that hard a choice wait for FFXII but maybe not lol. Anyone know what would be the best GBA game? Plus more opinions about what you think please on those over games  I'm just a confused gamer really. p.s What do people here think of Kingdom Hearts as that also has FF in? Do you just find this as a mockery to the game with disney characters in or is it good? Thanks :demon:
10. Yes indeed the songs are rather annoying! I know it can be 4-player I just usually say 2-player as I never play with 4 people usually. Ahh is multiplayer any good as I can't be bothered to look really. THPS4 has pretty cool 2-player, but I suppose this will be mostly things about graffiti. Hmmm could be fun :)
11. Oh that's good as I like Pokemon games! :D Well I would go for say FFVII, but to be honest I never buy or play on PSX games anymore. I forgot to say, but if it is really that good I may have to bend the rules. Is FFX really short, because I don't like short games too many are being created lately! I know it has fewer disks or something. The moves sound confusing, but fun! :excited: Does anyone recommend FF Chronicles or FFXI? Do you think they will be worth waiting for, because I will probably prefer newer versions to the series as better graphics, improved gaming hopefully and the fact I love COOL cut-scenes. If you say it's like Pokemon maybe I should get like the GBA version also that will be good. Now I'm interested I did some quick flicking through mags and I hear Chronicles looks a bit like FFIX and you can use GBA as a controller to link up. :whoops: As for FFXI it will be the first one in the series to go online and you can customize your own characters. Coolies! Too much of a choice to make lol. Headache
12. WOW it does sound pretty interesting I must say. I'm not a big fan of turned based I do like my action/shooting games, but if it's addictive to everyone else I think I should buy at least one and see what it's like. Do you ever get lost and stranded without anything to do though? I usually give up when that happens you see, because I get bored easily. I hear there are loads of moves, items and magic is it really confusing? Is it like pokemon in anyway as in enemies having weaknesses or just an all out battle knocking off your enemies HP? Also as a beginner what do you think would be the best game to start of with? One of the newer ones being released or an old one? Thanks for your help ... Grant :demon:
13. Oh yeah I know the game Panzer Dragoon Orta you mean right? The pics I've seen on it are quite bizarre really, but very good and detailed. I see like mystical beasts and big missiles lol. Anyway yeah they are making Shemue 2 for the X-Box and it should start straight after the first one finishes. Both look good I admit.
14. Yeah I know they get everythink early it's annoying I mean they already have X-Box Live! I haven't actually heard of that game ... What's it about? Talking of Dreamcast, Shemue 2 is going to be a big release for most people, but I'm not sure if it will take my liking. You never know. What does anyone else think about the best game on X-Box for 2003 then?
15. Well I know absolutely nothing about the Final Fantasy series. I was wondering if someone could explain to me what it's about and why so many people like it? I know it's an RPG so that's kind of why I haven't been interested in it. Suppose I shouldn't judge like that. HELP me to understand and maybe my mind will be changed as I know of several people to be addicted to the Final Fantasy games. I hear all the games are different though (I think), so could be hard to explain ARGH!
16. I haven't encountered Rhyth actually but I am pretty far though. In an early post I said I wish this could be two player lol when it is. I must of been really tired then, but I haven't played it as yet. I hope I helped you out, but I'm getting bored of doing the same thing over and over. There needs to be more of a challenge and I meen soon!
17. Well mine has now changed. My latest album I got was : Slipknot - Slipknot as it was a bargain. My favourite song at the moment : Well I still got No One Knows stuck in my head, but also Slipknot - Spit It Out and Korn - ADIDAS, don't know why but I've got into them again as I bought albums recently with those songs in! Good stuff. :) Rock/Nu-Metal still my favourite and I still hate garage and also classical stuff or anything that resembles old boring music! Favourite band : Well that's a hard one for me right now. When Linkin Park do some more albums they could be better, but I think I will have to choose Korn!
18. Well now this feud thing has stopped if anyone is confused whether to get this game it should be like the other duo platformers that took Toe Jam & Earl's spotlight such as Jak & Daxter and Rachet & Clank. If they didn't take to your liking that much then I would advise you not to get it. :)
19. 2003 is going to be a big year for the X-Box with X-Box Live and all, but as there are already threads on that I'm interested in the game you want the most in 2003. I know you Americans will get games before me in poor old England (LUCKY), but what one do you want the most? Well for me I'm really looking forward to a number of games from the X02 showings. I'm interested in whether Perfect Dark 2 will be better than the one on the N64, because I loved that one especially multiplayer. It would be brilliant online! Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance is also going to be a massive hit, but I hope it will be longer than MGS2. I'm very excited to see whether Ninja Gaiden is going to be as good as it looks. :excited: Last, but not least Halo 2. It should be such a good game, but I'm not sure if I just think this because of the hype over the first one hmmm? Well there my suggestions ... What are yours? p.s please give explanations or it should be classed as SPAM! :whoops:
20. Could I ask how do you get all 3 sets of weapons at once? I don't know if im just not very well knowledged about Vice City, but I'm not sure how to do this? Sniping up there is fun yeah and helicopter goes a bit crazy. I think you get a wanted level, because well if you walk into a police station with a gun it would be a bit suspicious.
21. Max Payne ain't a policeman, but yeah I agree with the rest. I don't think the graphics look that great more like a PS2 game although some PS2 games have conjured up great graphics but on the whole not as good. Don't worry though everything is nice and bold with blood! From what I have seen the gameplay is like lock on and fire, mixed with hand-to-hand combat. Also I've seen some weird sub games. There is a strange dancing segment where you jab the buttons in time to make a pole dancer gyrate alluringly to distract some guards lol. You sometimes get to control your dog to find secret routes. I haven't heard about these everlasting battles you have (seems to be quite a few men though), but I know there is a heck of alot of blood so I'm not sure if that statement is correct. Also I heard it came out in November in the UK, but it will most likely get delayed. I don't think this game will last you long so it may be best just renting it. I hear there are really long cutscenes which may put you off replaying it. I do like the idea of having a dog with you it's original and should be good, but I hear it's easy to summon him when you may of wanted to do a slow-motion dive, so hopefully you can change the controls. Well it's up to you at the end of the day ... could be interesting!
22. Ryu looks so cool, I want to be like him. :D Well the key factors are basically all-out combat and stealth, but the good thing is unlike splinter if you get caught I don't think you will fail your mission. I heard Ryu can do simple sword combos, throwing shuriken stars, one-hit kills and dodging manoeuvres which will probably prolong his life. Aside from cutting his enemies in half with one fatal swipe of a blade, Ryu I believe can also suprise his foes like by clinging to walls and attacking from above which is kind of what you were saying Tommy. It will be fun to knock a pillar over a crush a poor little enemy. :) This game looks like a cross between DOA3 and Splinter Cell, the only real bad thing I have come across so far is that Ninja Gaiden won't be coming out in England until November at least. :(
23. Well they always change the roster. The game needs a shopping mall *takes idea from No Mercy*. You should do season mode but you should have to buy things from this shopping mall with your earnings however much you should get. You should save up money for different things you can buy such as - clothes, moves, weapons, arenas, matches, and superstars (Maybe old wrestlers, and I think it will be funny if they could put in superheros such as spiderman lol but I doubt they have the authority) Another idea I would love to see is simply voice overs in the game, because on season mode where they just randomly open their mouths it looks rather stupid and nothing like they were actually spose to see. Talking would be great and also I think Smackdown should try including some made up storyline instead of always going with what happens on the T.V as there will be more suspense and won't be so darn repetive. Add more cut-scenes and include BLOOD to the game :demon:
24. It is also not very realistic nor good the fact that you can't break up submission holds. Smackdown 5 should do loads of new matches like - inferno, strap, chain, casket, the elimination chamber, etc. Also the royal rumble is way too easy. I think 6-8 people in the ring again and keep the referee. More weapons and backstage areas. I can't think right now, but the game needs something to make it original!
25. Well if your were I think you are this is what you will have to do. Once you have completed tagging 99th street Poison Jam will then go on to tagging all over Chuo Street. You will need to take on the annoying armoured police in their tanks and then go for the leader officer who is easy. Once you have done that same as usual go grafiti over all of Poison Jam's wreckless work. When you have completed that you can now go over to them and they will offer to race you. Not really hard at all. After that instead of joining you they run off to Rokkaku-dai Heights as the stupid bunch of monkeys that they are. Then basically carry on from there. Sorry if I've spoiled anything for anyone but it's pretty basic and it just the same sort of thing each time (maybe slightly harder, but not much). Hope that's the right bit, sorry if not but it's there if anyone needs it.
