1. Well I didn't say X-Box was the best I still think PS2 is until the PS3 is released. It says that X-Box console compared to the other consoles is better in these departments: -Graphics (250MHZ NV2A) -Memory/Storage (64 Megabytes of RAM/8GB) -Power (733MHZ) -Audio (Dolby Digital 5.1) -Online gaming (as they are the only ones so far I suppose) Also other little things like DVD which is good, no need for memory card and you can play a CD on your X-Box while playing on some games and are bringing out loads of titles showed in X02.
2. I thought that Gamecube was the best though, but everywhere I read now it's not the best and I didn't even ask for an X-Box and parents just got me one, so I didn't exactly complain. But I still love the Gamecube they just need more games now and a better variety for 2003 and they will do great. I can't help the fact I suppose X-Box are doing a really good deal now, so it makes more people change their minds! It's funny how the little handheld gaming console beat both X-Box and Gamecube in the sales, but that's still good for Nintendo.
3. You can take photos with 'em, send emails and of course even make phone calls with mobiles. What next ... Well I will tell you what next - gaming on your mobile will be the next massive thing. You have to see Nokia's new N-Gage, which they're selling purely on its gaming capabilities. p.s I put this in Nintendo forum as they have the best handheld gear! I think this could be real BIG in 2003 as long as it ain't too expensive! What do you all think about this then ... Anyone know anything more about this, because I would be interested to know. :demon: Sure... *moves* - Desbreko
4. Well as for this Christmas 'war' the stats go a bit like this (maybe just for England and may change a bit as recorded bit before Christmas): PS2 in the lead with a whopping 61% Then the GBA sneaks in with 18% X-Box trying to close away from Gamecube with 14% Last, but not least .. well wait yeah they are least with 7% I don't know how factual that information is but it should be right at the moment. I don't think it's all over for Gamecube as they are bringing out there big guns next year (in England anyway). X-Box could steam ahead with X-Box live as well, but they will have a long way to catch up! What do you all think about this?
5. It ain't out here yet in England yet till March :(, but I suppose that gives me time to get broadband, I really want to get it as it sounds great fun if I can find people to play I'm sure all of you wouldn't mind would you? I will try and get Unreal Championship and Mech Assault when it out here.
6. Well for RPGs loads of people are usually interested in the Final Fantasy series or maybe say Grandia 2. Some people strongly dislike Kingdom Hearts. I don't really know about Gundam games, but as for battle I can't think of a game like SSBM so maybe Tekken 4, but it's different to SSBM though. Adventures .. well MGS2 or Vice City could be good titles to try unless that doesn't class as a 'Teen' title. I will get back to you with more it's very late or lets say early here in England.
7. Well that depends really what type of genre were you looking for? Any age limit? explain plz ... :demon:
8. Wow I like all those bands too and New Disease is well good a long with the other two especially Get Inside! Haven't heard of Tejano music hmmm? Corey has got to be one of my favourites too and they are great bands he is in. Someone with my taste :D
9. Melee would be so mega fun online and although I really enjoy Mario Party 4 I think it would be too slow to play online and may get bored or would ave to go before the match finishes. Im sure they will do like Tony Hawks online and Resident Evil which would be cool.
10. Yeah sorry I did like know it was out lol. It supposely not a great game, but if you have enough for both then sure why not. *thinks what to get* hmmm?
11. The assault rifle and the human pistol has to be the best ones as they just rock where as the others are usually a pain, I will edit this when I learn the names of the guns, beacause I've only started playing! Co-op multiplayer is pretty damn cool. :D
12. Well you should be able to buy the assets soon then you buy sunshine autos and away you go!
13. If you've had a birthday lately what gifts have you recieved? I would be interested to know to see what your all into, but if you haven't had a birthday as of yet for a while then what do you want to get for your birthday so I still get the jist of what you like. Then tell me later on your birthday if you did actually get what you would of liked. It's as simple as that, so get posting!:box:
14. Yeah there all good ideas. I also think you should get a bit of choice when it comes down to doing missions. Like options whether to do it or not so it changes storyline or like they give you an option of different missions to do and you get to choose whatever one you want. That would be good so when you complete the game you can restart it and take a different route by choosing different missions and if they haven't fixed the technical flaws then I could be bothered to actually start again when it crashes (meaning I wouldn't have to do the same stuff over again). The game needs more things to do with money you get and make it more realistic by mugging people instead of killing them at some glows up on the floor lol.
15. Yeah same here on both of the games  they really need to do something about it! I warn you if you do like pedestrian riot and the other pedestrians ones DON'T save or it will stay on there. I did this with one of them turned on through most of GTA 3 which made it very hard to complete missions.
16. Yeah I would get Mech Assault or Dead to Rights, but being in crappy England they haven't been released yet! Probably worth the wait, but I'm sure I can find the cash. I'm getting bored with getting all the THPS games, but I may think about getting JSRF though or Crazy Taxi 3, but I suppose it's just going to be the same as no. 1 and 2 which I have for the Dreamcast. As for action games for the X-Box erm either Unreal Championship, Dead or Alive 3, Hitman 2 or Silent Hill 2; Inner Fears. P.S I already have Timesplitters 2 for Gamecube. As for other consoles maybe LOTR: Two Towers (heard it's good, but short) and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. What do you all think?
17. I have to agree to some extent I mean if you can legally have sex at 16, I think they should make like a 16 rating for nudity! Killing and murders would probably be a higher rating it depends how much gore really. Swearing ... well doesn't everyone nowadays, so like 11+. Probably totally wrong but what the heck.
18. Yeah I am, because the game is the one that has crashed not the console that's fine. When I saved it did say warning cheats may effect the game or something like that, but if Rockstar are going to create cheats for this game they need to sort out the technical flaws! :flaming:
19. Yeah I know he's an author, but also he has a few films under his belt as well including The Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games, Clear And Present Danger, and The Sum Of All Fears. Tom Clancy's quite a class act to tell the truth. I don't though if Splinter Cell is based on a game I don't think so, but his alternative history novels and the Red Storm games, that the Rainbow Six franchise was a dual book and game project if that makes sense lol.
20.
Originally posted by Final Flash I love most kinds of games... But most Sports games I don't like. I mean, what's the point? Go out and play the real game, you know? I have a soft spot for Strategy and FPS game, of course. Not to mention Beat 'em ups and the like... Of course, Arcade Shoot 'em ups will always hold a special place in my heart.
I suppose, but most sports I suck at especially skateboarding lol and I'm too lazy so I usually buy a football game once every few years. Sometimes skating or BMX games and usually a few wrestling ones. All the games you like I agree on although as long as they are not short FPS games, as they make me angry! :flaming: Short games I reckon should be cheaper as finishing games in a day is really taking the ****.
21. I got an X-Box for christmas with Halo and Splinter Cell. I would like to buy a third soon, but I don't know what I want hmmm? Genres I don't want are RPGs, racing, and I don't mind a sport or a platform game. I really would like another action packed game though, so it doesn't leave you with much of a choice. If there isn't a suitable suggestion I suppose I could just save my money up, or buy a PS2/GC game, but then which one should I buy :(. I've heard some suitable suggestions for an X-Box game but whats your opinion? If not then what games should I save up for? Or if you think I should just splash out the cash which game(s) should I get for the other 2 consoles? Help me out please!!! :demon:
22. I haven't really played Silent Hill 2 and I only played SH1 on a demo which came free with MGS and that was freaky enough. I can't really compare Resident Evil to the Silent Hill 2 then, but I will go with your word that it's better than RE. Plus I have the Gamecube version of RE so I'm not much help there, but I'm looking forward to RE0 and RE4 they will hopefully be big hits. As for PS2 MGS2 is really good and all with superb graphics, but I just think it's too short and a heck load of cut scenes that tended to confuse me lol. Not complaining they were good (a funny one was when colenol went crazy) and there were loads on MGS as well, but the game itself was alot longer. They both had good plots and MGS2: Subtstance should be a good contender for this section. Too many good games are really short and I can't really pick an ultimate game for the PS2. *Tries to think of a challenging game* RPGs can probably hook you into a game for longer like the Final Fantasy series, but I get bored with them usually, so probably out of Silent Hill 2 (may buy it to see if it's as good as you say), Vice City (apart from the missions so many more things to do and have fun with, but need to sort out technical flaws!), The Getaway (takes time getting used to, but for me it sure is a heck of fun and cut scenes are excellent with great Londoner accents. Also when your finished you can roam around doing as you wish), Timesplitters 2 (I've got it, so when I get round to playing it, should be a great deal of fun, especially multiplayer) or maybe Splinter Cell when it hits the PS2 in England (as stealth games are usually challenging). May edit when think of new ones! :demon:
23.
Originally posted by Alexus_Bing Hasn't there been two Tom Clancy games released recently? what's the other one? Splinter Cell sounds like a very good game. However, I agree with TheDarkOtaku, and that too much darkness can ruin a game, but too little can make it seem to realistic. Stealth games are hard games to create, but I think this one could be near perfect! Can one of the game's owner please inform me about the weapons, and how many ways are there of killing people with your bare hands? Also, What is your main objective in the game, i.e Metal Gear Solid - Prevent the launch of a nuclear missile.
Well there are a few Tom Clancy games, but there are probably more than what I can remember. There is the Rainbow Six series - Rainbow Six, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear and a new one coming out which looks pretty decent Rainbow Six: Raven Shield (could be the one your thinking of). Also there has been The Sum Of All Fears and another game called Ghost Recon, but not forgetting of course Splinter Cell! I suppose darkness can ruin games yeah, but thats where the night vision goggles come in. Stealth games are pretty challenging and there is a little prelogue thing at the beginning of Splinter Cell which is useful as I never read the instructions lol. I haven't really started playing the game so I don't know the plot and all I know is you can have a pistol and you can fight with your hands, but its best to strangle people and then clomber them over the head. It does remind me a bit of Metal Gear Solid apart from the fact it's vital on this you don't get caught on MGS it's just a pain if you do. So far I rate this to be a brilliant game for the X-Box and people with PS2s can wait for it's release on the PS2. :tasty:
24. I think if you do loads of cheats that what creates the error like mine, because that what happened to me. I had finished it and it won't let me load, :( I will probably take it back to the shops. The cheats are stupid if they make errors!
25. Ahh sorry I read wrong it just says that Rare can't make Donkey Kong anymore, but they may be able to for the GBA. Of course Gamecube is still great console, but couldn't good old Bill just buy more and more companies!?!
