The Final Fantasy series, VII and IX in particular since those are my favourites and I try to do everything in them. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, pretty much the same as above. Great game with an awesome story that I like watching. And getting through some of the dungeons take a while. Zelda series. Pokemon Red because it was my first Pokemon game so I tried to catch all the pokemon that I could. Took me a long time. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, Elite Beat Agents, and Moero! Nekkitsu Rhythm Damashii!Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 2 - All three are rhythm games on DS Lite and I'm sure I've spent over 100 hours on each trying to either pass the levels or get S Ranks. Trauma Center can be extremely frustrating if you continually fail a stage and can't get past it to continue and finish the story. Those are the first ones that come to mind, but there are probably others.
Hey Mike! It's been a while, huh? =D I didn't count Sharingan as one of the Techniques/Jutsus but lemme know if ya want me to. EDIT: Edited some bits in Description and Jutsus/Techniques. Let me know if you want me to change anything. Kitty, Hope you don't mind that we're friends. Name: Uchiha Himiko (Miko-chan to her close friends) Age: Thirteen Gender: Female Physical Description: If anyone saw Himiko they would be able to recognize her as the daughter of Sasuke just by her appearance. She has thick raven hair that falls just below her shoulders, with the same endless onyx eyes as her father. Her skin is also as pale as his even though she spends a lot of time out in the sun. She just guesses that it runs in the family since her father's relatives were also very pale naturally. She also inherited her father's smirk and death glare which she uses often. She has a lithe, athletic figure and stands at about 5'5". Himiko wears slightly baggy black pants with her shuriken pouch wrapped around her right thigh, and a navy blue shirt much like her father's from his old days, with the Uchiha crest between her shoulder blades, visible under her hair, but instead of wearing the typical sandals she chooses to wear black combat boots with special soles that allows her to channel chakra through them. Weapons: Besides the standard ninja gear (shuriken, kunai, scrolls, etc.), Himiko wields a pair of custom made black sais with a holder on each hip. Each sai is perfectly balanced and has the Uchiha crest engraved at the base of each hilt. Fighting Style: As an Uchiha she is well rounded in all areas. Jutsu/Techniques: -Sharingan - Acquired it through her bloodline, currently still has currently got two commas and is working on gaining her third. -Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu - All Uchihas learn this while they are young as proof of age and to prove that they can uphold the Uchiha ways. Sasuke started teaching her as soon as she was old enough to have chakra control. Himiko has no problem with using this jutsu for extended periods of time. -Chidori - Using Chidori has the potential to drain her completely and she needs to have a large percentage of her chakra to pull it off. If she tries to do it with not enough chakra she can be so exhausted that she faints, but this is only if she overdoes it. Short Biography: Himiko was born to the last Uchiha heir after he finally decided to take a bride, Mihara Kazuki. Her family was quaint but during her first years she didn't see a lot of her father because he was either helping the Hokage with rebuilding Konoha, or he had to go out to support ANBU teams seeing as he was the Commander. Once she was old enough she began her training with her father who tried to be around more. They would practice everyday at the crack of dawn until she was tired. She got a grasp on chakra control easily while she was young which advanced her swiftly into learning jutsus. Before her father started to teach her jutsus he taught her how to use her Blood Limit, the Sharingan. It took a while and while she was learning it hurt her eyes to keep it active for long periods of time. As soon as she could at least activate it she was started on jutsus. Himiko was told of the history about Katon: Goukyakuu no Jutsu and she put all of her energy into mastering it. She wasn't satisfied until she didn't feel tired after doing repeated fireballs. During the learning she would keep her Sharingan up for as long as possible to build up resistance, eventually she had got it to a stage where she could keep it up for a day without tiring. Himiko hit the Academy as soon as she was able, already having been trained so she had an advantage over most students. Her father continued to train her on the side, keeping up with their dawn sessions. He helped her to work on the Chidori. It was hard and took a long time, longer than Goukyakuu she eventually got it. While she learnt it she got tired more frequently so they would spar. She admires her father a lot because of his strength. Himiko has several friends from the academy, but someone she finds herself particularly close to is Uzumaki Hotaru. They are a year apart but they became close while they were growing because of their fathers being best friends. She is not as cold as her father used to be in his Genin days, but she is very competitive and can be arrogant, but more confident than arrogant. Himiko is a perfectionist and wants to master all of her jutsus and techniques that she is learning so she can be the best someday.
OOC: I'm so sorry this is so late, I got caught up with all my uni work. Hope this is still accepted because you haven't said anything. Word count of the actual RP bit is 798. --- I was shocked to say the least when a foreign force seemed to spiral around me and I felt my body change. Before I knew it my voice had dropped and I had lost my feminine figure. Indifference told me that we, the final five contestants of The Great Otakuboards Bermuda Triangle Mystery had been transformed into the opposite gender (as if that wasn?t obvious already). Besides Sasuke being my favourite character from the anime Naruto, I really wasn?t happy to know that was my new name in place of Sakura, at least until I found the antidote. ?Oh, you only have a week to find the antidote before you stay that way permanently!? Indifference added finally before I was about to walk away. A vein in my forehead throbbed in anger, I was not amused. But instead of vocalising my anger I took a deep breath and wandered off, thinking about possible whereabouts of the missing antidote. I don?t know about any of the other contestants but I definitely didn?t want to be stuck as a guy (I shuddered at the thought). ?Oh where, oh where could the antidote be~? Oh where, oh where can it be~?? I sang softly to myself as I strolled around OB, looking around to get some ideas. I frowned at the sound of my lower register voice. Other Otakuboards members walked normally, getting along with their daily activities, their lives weren?t plagued by the problem of a strange magic. There were just so many possible places to look because OB was just so big! The first place I thought of trying was my very first posts, looking deep into my history (wow, I was such a newbie back then). I searched for a couple of days, sorting through many of my old posts, a lot which have been deleted since they were in deleted forums of the past. I still can?t believe it?s been so long since I joined OB, four years have felt like forever. But back on track...my search through my past posts was unsuccessful. I was fairly disappointed because it had taken a lot of time to sort through all the posts, and the deadline was swiftly approaching! I decided to go and find some of my closest OB friends to ask them for help. The three I found the fastest were BKstyles, Disenchanted, and Redemption. I quickly consulted their opinions. BK knew it was me because he had been there when we had all transformed, but Disenchanted and Redemption were shocked. Redemption has known me the longest and helped me to think. Then I remembered that she had gone through many name changes in her past, all voluntarily of course (not like my current situation >.>). I had my inspiration and I thanked them hurriedly, rushing off leaving the trio shrugging and continuing whatever they had been doing. That was it! The two times I had requested name changes. The first time from Sakuramon to Ohkami, then from Ohkami to Sakura. I was confident the antidote would be found in one of those PMs that I had sent, I just had to find it! I despaired when I arrived at my Inbox as it told me I had 2495 messages stored, with 1423 of them in my Sent folder, which was where I was to be headed. I rolled up my sleeves and got dug in, looking for those two particular private messages. I knew it had been a long time so I started at the back. I searched hard but I couldn?t track down the first message of my initial name change, I guess it?s been too long and was removed during one of the OB updates. Never mind, there was still another one to go. I steadily shuffled through the twenty-nine pages of Sent messages, finally finding the elusive message on page 15. Ah the memories, 28th of February 2005. Now to see if it indeed held the antidote I was searching for. I took a deep breath and looked in, my face lighting up as I saw the vial of amber liquid. I was so relieved, because the deadline had almost arrived and I really didn?t want to miss it. I grabbed it from the message, twisting off the cork and gulping it down swiftly. I felt that mysterious energy swirl around me again in reverse and I was back to myself. My eyes glowed and I ran to find a mirror, making sure I was really back to normal. I sighed in relief as everything was in order. I casually returned to the Community Events forum, elated to just be Sakura again. ?I love Uchiha Sasuke, but I don?t want to be a guy ever again.? I sighed happily with a soft smile.

I feel terrible. Sincerest apologies to the crew, I know I said that I would post but uni's been a bit hectic lately so I haven't had much time to be on OB. But honestly, I prefer direction/objectives to work on, especially at times like this when I'm not feeling very creative. If you keep Cameron in when we get into the objective type stuff then I'll try my hardest to get some sort of post in. (Hope I can keep that....) Sorry again, I feel bad .___.

Sorry about my lack of posting and stuff. At the moment I can take up editting when needed, so just send stuff my way when ready, A_M. Just always feel free to send it my way, but I'll let you know if I'm not free to do it. If I have more time I may start writing my own articles up. It looks really good at the moment ^^

Apologies for not posting in ages. I promise I'll try to catch up and post within the next couple of days. >

Galatéa had a short conversation with Alastor, a Chaser on the Gryffindor team as they entered the Great Hall. She loved playing Quidditch with such a passion, she would be crushed if she didn't make it onto the team again. Not to seem cocky or arrogant, but she personally felt she would get in again. The reasons for her confidence was firstly that not many people tried out for Seeker, most went for the somewhat easier positions that had them in on more main action; and second, she had the skills needed to be a great Seeker, maybe as good as James (Senior) and Harry Potter some day. Throughout the Sorting Hat Ceremony, Galatéa had watched with rapt fascination. She was always interested in where the Sorting Hat placed the brand new First years. After her Second year at Hogwarts she had started trying to guess where the students would go by appearance, even though she knew they were sorted by what was in their hearts and souls. After the second straight Gryffindor she turned joyfully to Albert who was beside her. Her smile faded to be replaced by a slightly concerned look, seeing that Albert was out of it at the moment. He snapped back to attention, like what had happened on the Hogwarts Express. "I'm fine. Just dozed off." Galatéa frowned but nodded and dropped it, not wanting to annoy him. She knew how he felt about not wanting to talk at times, and hated it when people would press her for an answer when all she wanted was silence. After the Feast was done and the students were dismissed she walked the halls easily, the Gryffindor House looked like a flock moving together and helping to guide the new students across the moving stairways. The older students pointed out certain corridors and paths along the way to help them with getting around the castle-like place. They eventually made it up to the tower that was their dorms, saying the password to enter and giving greetings to the portrait of the Fat Lady. Galatéa stretched her arms above her head as she stood in the common room, watching the rest of the Gryffindors file in. She noticed that Albert was already heading up the stairs that lead to the Male side of the dorms. "Where are you going?" she asked quickly, taking a few steps toward his retreating form. "Bed. I'll see you tomorrow." was all he said, waving at her without turning. Galatéa frowned after he left. She was really worried about him, even though they had only been together for a few hours since last year he was acting really strangely. She tried to push it out of her mind and talked for a while, before noticing the time was late and she had to wake up early for classes tomorrow. She went to her usual dorm and claimed her usual bed which already had her trunk and baggage at the foot of it. She changed into her pajamas quickly and stood still at the side of her bed for a while. After a couple of minutes she decided she wasn't tired enough to go to sleep, so she ended up organising her things, propping her Firebolt 3.0 next to her bed. It was the newest model of broomsticks out, having come out during the summer. Many of the flaws from the previous models had been straightened out. She smiled slightly, she had been shopping with her father when she spotted it and her father had bought it for her as a present from him and her mother. She stored her Broomstick Maintenance Kit in one of the drawers of her dresser and pulled out her sets of uniforms, which also had her Quidditch robes among them, putting them away into the top drawer. Galatéa left all of her school tools in her trunk, and straightened the piles of textbooks that had been toppled by everything else moving around. She pulled her wand out of a slot in the trunk since she hadn't needed to use it at all, and placed it on top of the dresser. She rubbed her eyes, looking around. It looked like she hadn't really even left Hogwarts. Galatéa got into her comfy bed and fell asleep with a smile. She loved Hogwarts, it felt so homey.

Sorry, I may have missed it earlier. But do we have to try out every year? Just asking because Blayze mentioned it in his post about trying out again. Either way for now I've gone with that we do so it fits with Blayze's post. If not then I guess I'll change it.

Galatéa smiled at her memories of the past summer that were spent with her dad at home and in his office at the Ministry of Magic. They had mostly talked about her year, even though he knew most of it since they corresponded frequently by owl. And as usual she helped him with some of his work and research, which she had been doing since a young age. "Oh I see, your uncle is funny by the way...." she stopped seeing Albert's expression. It was deep in thought and wasn't really paying attention to anything around him. He seemed to snap out of it and they smiled together and laughed. She didn't know about him, but Galatéa felt at ease around Albert, she felt like they had bonded from both being in the same House, and from sharing lessons and personalities. Albert turned to stare out the window at the passing countryside, Galatéa watched the drizzle fleck on the glass windows. The Fifth year boy suddenly turned to face her again, slightly startling her. "Hey, why do you take the Occlumency and Legilimency classes for, Galatéa?" Her eyes widened slightly for a second. She scratched her cheek thoughtfully. "Well, to tell you the truth...It's because of the things I've read with my dad, and stuff he's told me over time to do with evil witches and wizards manipulating people with unaware minds." her eyes got a slightly faraway look as she continued. "The stories about them are terrible, and I never want that to happen to me. That's why I want to learn Occlumency, to protect myself from that." Albert seemed to nod in agreement, they were very valid reasons. "As for Legilimency, well...I'd never abuse such a power, we went over that when we started the classes. But I wanted to learn it because if I ever needed it at some point then at least I would have it. Like my mum has to use Legilimency sometimes when she's working. Before I took it up I discussed it with my parents to see what their opinion on it was, and they both approved and encouraged me in taking them." she finished. There was a soft silence in the carriage, the only sounds that could be heard were the talking and shouting of the other students in neighbouring compartments and the patter of rain of the glass panes. "How about you, Albert? What made you want to take up Occlumency and Legilimency?" she asked, now curious of his reasons.

Galatéa and her father, Matthias walked along Kings Cross Station, her father was pushing her trolley with her trunk and baggage on it, with Columbus' cage sitting on top. "How are you feeling about this year, Galatéa?" he asked as they strolled along, looking at the Muggles rushing about busily. "Quite confident. I can't wait to continue my Occlumency and Legilimency lessons, and to get back into Quidditch; I'm so out of practice." "Haha, you'll be fine. You always are after breaks." They stopped in their tracks and looked at the wall between Platform 9 and Platform 10. She still remembered the first year she went through, she wasn't confident but trusted her parents... ~"Where's Platform 9 3/4?" Galatéa asked her parents, looking back and forth between 9 and 10. Her parents guided her over to the barrier between the two and pointed at it. "...It's a wall." she replied. "The gate is right through there." "A-are you sure?" "Of course we're sure. We went to Hogwarts remember? Just trust us." Galatéa put on her determined face and nodded. Come on, she had grown up around magic her whole life, why did it surprise her that there was a possibility of a hidden train platform through a brick wall? She took a couple of steps back and threw herself toward it, squeezing her eyes shut before she hit. When she didn't feel anything she opened her eyes and was in awe at the Hogwarts Express and all the parents and students, she was really going to Hogwarts, at last! Her parents followed shortly and wished her well, seeing her off and waving as the train pulled away.~ Galatéa ran through first, moving through the wall to the other side, revealing the sign Platform 9 3/4. Seconds later her father popped through as well, wheeling the trolley to a stop. Galatéa looked around, seeing parents and their children parting to start a new year of Hogwarts. She hugged her father closely and grabbed her trunk, baggage and cage. "Take care, and don't forget to write home every now and then. And try not to use your Animagus too much, you know it scares the new students." "Yes, father." she rolled her eyes playfully. "All the best, Galatéa." "Thanks, bye!" She walked through the train, moving around people who were meeting up with their friends. She took a couple of minutes to duck into a bathroom and change into her school robes, displaying the Gryffindor colours. Galatéa entered a compartment when she saw it was one of her friends, a fellow Gryffindor who shared a lot of classes with her, including the private lessons of Occlumency/Legilimency. "Hey Albert." she said happily, sliding the door closed behind her. She shoved all of her things into the overhead compartments except for Columbus which she sat next to her on the seat across from where Albert was sitting. "Galatéa. Ready for the new year?" he asked, sliding up a little. "Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it, how about you?" "Should be great." he smiled slightly. Galatéa smiled back at him, they were quite similar in many ways, especially in personality because they both had two very different sides of themselves. She turned her gaze to Columbus who just looked at her, she reached through the bars of the cage and stroked his soft feathers. "The beginning of the Fifth year..." she murmured. OOC: Hope that was ok with you, Lionheart. If not lemme know.

Wow, I really love the concept, sounds like fun ^^ I normally play females so I don't see a problem in that area, but for those who do, perhaps the Ladies could have a partner group that are men? I'm not really sure what you were thinking but that could be an idea. But I'm really interested in this.

Yeah, the thing about interaction between the different years troubled me too. And keeping track of the classes will be hard to keep up with, but I don't have any solutions, though Cyriel's sounds quite good. I was never in any mixed classes but I have friends who did, though they were and are rare here.

Just letting you all know if I get in; I'm not that big of a HP fan >.> I haven't read one of the books in a loooooong time! I don't remember anything from OotP (haven't seen the movie either), didn't read HBP, and don't really have any intentions of reading DH. But wow, this is already getting confusing with the amount of characters and the classes. @.@

Personality: Galatéa has a somewhat shifting personality, presenting herself happily as either an individual by herself, or with a group of friends. Most of the time she sees herself as being an open person, with a friendly personality, but there are frequent times when she will shy away from people for any variety of reasons. When it comes to her studies and anything she's interested in she is a fierce competitor and doesn't often like being beaten, but she takes it lighter if the person to beat her is a friend. Galatéa has been known to show no mercy when she's determined about something or when it comes to studies, even to her friends. That is why when she turned into an Animagus she discovered that the form that represented her inner self was a Wolf, and when she thought about it, it fit perfectly because wolves are mostly social animals, living together in packs, but they can also survive perfectly well alone. They are also fierce and aggressive animals in the things they do, even when it comes to members of the pack. Bio: Galatéa is the only child of a pure-blooded, wizarding family so she was brought up with magic constantly around her. As she grew up her interest in all things magical increased and her parents would tell her often that she was showing great magical potential even at a young age. When she was younger Galatéa spent a lot of time with her father, Matthias, who was a researcher/scholar working for The Ministry of Magic. While he did his work he would teach her about little things here and there to do with what he was presently working on. So she started her education very early. Her father was also interested in Quidditch and told her stories about his old days in Hogwarts when he played for the Gryffindor Team as a Beater. If there was a game on then he would turn the tv or radio on to watch/listen to it. She unfortunately never attended an actual game. Her mother, Viléna, was supportive of everything she did but wasn't around often because she was often away on Auror business, being one of the best and highest ranking Aurors out there. She would come home as often as possible and try to stay as long as she could, but Galatéa understood what her occupation entailed. One day when Galatéa was eight years old, her mother returned from a trip with a young owl in a cage, looking like it had just gotten its pinion feathers. She named him Columbus and they have been together since then. Galatéa was so happy when she finally turned eleven, and she had waited with her father for the letter to arrive, coming by owl. For a few minutes she sat with it in her hands, staring at the wax seal of the Hogwarts crest. Finally she slid a finger under the flap and broke the seal, unfolding the letter and reading its contents. She bounced around the room happily, this was the moment she'd been waiting for for so long. Together with her father she left the house immediately, their destination Diagon Alley to get her supplies for the year. In her second year she was looking around in some thick library books and found a book about Transfigurations. When she flicked through it she knew it was misplaced and should be in the Restricted Section because it had chapters on Animagus Transformations. Instead of turning it in Galatéa took the book and studied it, learning how to transform. It took her months to actually fully transform her entire body, then she spent the rest of the year perfecting it so she could do it easily at will. She was discovered by one of the teachers and was brought in front of the Headmistress who forced her to become registered and gave her detention for a month. Galatéa joined the Quidditch Team as soon as she was allowed to and after trying her in several positions it was decided that her best place was as a Seeker. She also joined the Duelling Club to increase her learning and skills in that area because it would be sure to come in handy. Her four years haven't been overly exciting besides the events mentioned above that all got her really pumped (besides the detention). She has requested private classes before in order to learn the Patronus charm, and starting the Occlumency/Legilimency classes last year. She still doesn't know what she wants to do once she finishes her studies at Hogwarts, but so far she just goes with whatever comes. Classes:
?Defense Against the Dark Arts ?Care of Magical Creatures ?Transfiguration ?Ancient Runes ?Herbology ?Charms ?Astronomy ?Potions ?Occlumency/Legilimency [Private]
Notes:
?She is an Animagus ?She plays Seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team ?She is a member of the Duelling Club ?She is very interested in Occulemency and Legilimency ?She has a Patronus, also a Wolf because like the Animagus transformation it reflects her inner self

Ok, I did finally get my post in. Sorry if it's not very good or long; done at night when I'm about ready to go to bed, but at least it's done right? >.> Matt, I didn't really know how to approach the Cameron thing, so I hope that's ok, if not you know how to contact me. Now I'm going to sleep :catgirl:

Major Cameron James sat patiently in the private express shuttle from Mercury. His eyes were closed as he leaned back against the seat, his mind was buzzing with ideas of what would happen on the expedition he was to embark on. His was excited about it to say the least. Working on an expedition was a great Time passed smoothly, leaving the Major to his own thoughts. The trip wasn't long, but he didn't have any idea of how much time had passed. "We've arrived, Major." the pilot announced. "Thank you, have a safe journey back." he opened his eyes and flashed a small smile, grabbing his packs from the floor and slapping him fondly on the back before exiting the shuttle. There was someone waiting to meet him at the docking station of the shuttle. The guard saluted him, but also took the hand offered to him by Cameron, shaking it firmly. "Right this way, Major." his deep voice rumbled, leading them off through the doors of the docking station and around the winding halls of the base. At last they reached a particular door which he was told lead to the docking area of the larger vessels such as the Argo Navis that he would be boarding. Cameron reached into one of the inner pockets on his jacket and pulled out his ID card, swiping it over the reader, then allowing his retina to be scanned to log his entry and prove his identity. As he stepped through the doors he was amazed at the appearance of the ship. It was magnificent in every way. He'd worked on a large variety of ships from being part of the army, but none that he had come across looked as glamorous as the Argo Navis. Cameron was lead all the way up to the entrance of the ship. The entire way upward he had been staring at his soon-to-be new home, taking in everything that was there, every detail possible. "Here you are, Major. If you'll make your way toward the Bridge, that should be where they are communing. All the best." the guard moved to salute again but saw the extended hand first, taking it. "Thank you for your help." Cameron smiled and entered the Argo Navis. He wandered around the halls with his packs, attempting to guess the directions to the Bridge. As he got closer it was easier because he could hear talking. When he entered the doorway there were quite a number of people there. He flashed a bright smile and looked around. His eyes swept the room and spotted the three individuals who looked like they came from the army. They all looked familiar and he thought that maybe he had seen them while working with the other defense forces, but Colonel Marcus DeSouza was well known anyway. He dropped his baggage and snapped to a swift salute. "Major Cameron James, reporting for duty!" "At ease, there's no need for all of that here." Colonel DeSouza told him casually, but he had seemed to stiffen slightly when he had announced his name. "Yes, sir." Cameron relaxed and introduced himself to the others that were present. He discovered the ranks of the other military officers, a Lieutenant and a Captain. He couldn't wait to get going and start the expedition. "Colonel...?" Cameron approached the Commanding Officer cautiously. "Yes, James?" Marcus turned to face him. "Excuse me if I'm out of line, but is there a...problem?" "What kind of problem would there be?" "The only thing is that I saw you stiffen when I announced my name, sir." "It's...nothing." "Yes, sir. Excuse me, sir." Cameron nodded, leaving the Colonel to talk to some of the other crew members.

I'm sorry that I still haven't done my opening post but I've been busy for the past week. I'll try to get one in as soon as possible. More than likely within the next two days or so. But just so you all know I've never been a fan of introduction posts >.>

Yay, looking forward to this. ^^ The ship looks pretty big O.o;; But I was wondering since there isn't any crew besides us, if the ship or something else incurs a large amount of damage, how is one mechanic going to be able to fix all by herself?
