2. If you don't want to get banned or something, try not to triple post, either, and don't provide links to other forums. Anyway, I go back on August 25. Well, I guess I should say I start rather than return, since I'm starting High School this year. Summer's already half over! It's going too fast! *breaks down and sobs uncontrolably*
3. I dont have any tattoos or piercings. I don't think my parents want their 14 year old son getting rings and such. However, I'm not sure if I'll ever get piercings. It just seems so...unappealing. A tattoo, maybe, but not in the near future. A dragon or snake or something reptilian would be cool.
4. There's actually a way to get rid of all the weeds at once, but it's not exactly easy. You have to be playing between midnight and 4:00. There is a ghost that appears, but you can't see him until you're practically on top of him. When you do find him, he asks you to find 5 spirits for you, which are floating around the town. All you need to do is bag them with your net. Bring all five back to the ghost, and you will have a choice of three rewards: free roof painting(lame), a random item, or removing all weeds. Very cool, and only takes about 15-20 minutes after finding the darned invisible ghost. You can do this any number of times, I think.
5. I haven't done too much, yet it's all going by too fast:( I did spend a week in Lake Tahoe, and actually went water skiing, if you can call standing up for two seconds skiing. That water is cold! Other than that, it's been kinda boring. I've been practicing for cross country and trying not to think about high school. I may go to Cuba for a week or so in August because my dad is being deployed there. Basically I've been hanging around at home, playing video games, reading, watching tv, and, of course, going on the OB.
6. I got it pretty soon after it came out, and I played it for a couple hours everyday. I kinda lost interest a while ago, but I'm thinking of starting up again. I want to finish paying off my house. I'll have a horrible time pulling all the weeds, tho:(
7. I've seen Kenshin DVD's at Suncoast, so they might have the Samurai X episodes there. Suncoast has lots of anime, so you might want to check that out if you didn't know. Hope that helps.
8. I live in Fallbrook. It's about an hour north of San Diego. Before that, I lived in 29 palms, close to Death Valley. Before that, I lived in Virginia. Before that, I lived in San Francisco. Before that...
9. Hmm...Usui on a stick...sounds good. That was a bad job of editing, but there wasn't really anything else they could do. At least there wasn't half a sword and little flecks of blood, lol. I couldn't see the sword, but I just figured that's what happened. The battle was too short, tho. It would have been better if they didn't do it one strike at at time. *strike*talk*strike*talk*strike*insult*
10. You mean the Gigas? There are: the Red Gigas: Recumen the Green Gigas: Grendel the Blue Gigas: Bluheim the Purple Gigas: Rhaknam the Yellow Gigas: Yeligar the Silver Gigas: Zelos Whew, thats a mouthful. Q: In Super Smash Bros. Melee, what do you do to fight Giga Bowser and the Crazy Hand?
11. yep, it appears after you beat it with each character. I knew someone would ask that ;p
12. I'll give it a shot. In Skies of Arcadia Legends, what are the six 'colors/moons' and what does each one represent? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sorry about the double post, but there hasn't been a reply for more than 2 months. I just thought I'd try and bring this back. I'll post a new question. In Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, who are the seven characters you can play as? Combined the posts. An easy way to avoid this sort of thing is to copy the text from your old post, delete it, and then make a new post. Copy the old text into the new post, and then add the new text. That way you have one post with both the old and new text, and the thread appears back at the top of the page. ^_^ - Desbreko
13. Yeah, it's pretty violent and bloody. I saw the first OVA and there's a lot of death. I didn't see any others so I don't know about
Kenshin and Tomoe's relationship.
I agree with Dan Rugh, there are lots of ways to kill people with swords and also spears. And, to add to that, if someone has been stabbed and is not dead, their attacker is not satisfied to see them dying on the ground. No; they have to stab them again, preferably through the neck, and kill them for good. Plus, not only is there blood, but large amounts of it per person killed. If someone just gets stabbed through the chest, while the sword is still in them blood goes flying out every which way. I don't know if that's realistic or not; I've never killed anybody, lol. But what the hell, it's anime.
14. In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, after you light the Jupiter Lighthouse and meet with Isaac you learn that the reason Felix was trying to light the lighthouses for the Mars clan because
his parents are being held hostage by them.
This is the burden that Felix bears. He doesn't necessarily want to restore Alchemy, but is being forced to. When Isaac learns
his father is captive also,
it becomes his burden too. Also, you don't know what Isaac's party is doing up 'til Jupiter Lighthouse. You hear about another group following behind you, but that's it. They may have picked up some items along the way, just as Felix has. I haven't heard of another sequel. That would be cool.
15. Im pretty sure that MM comes fairly soon after OoT because somewhere (either in the instruction book or at the beginning) it said Link had left Hyrule looking for "a friend" or something like that. I assume that his friend is Navi, as you
see her flying away at the end of OoT
, but I may be wrong. Besides, it has been confirmed to be soon after OoT, as Desbreko mentioned. Also, after beating WW, I figured that L'sA came soon after, because you see
Link and Tetra sailing off.
At the beginning of L'sA Link is caught in a storm on a ship. You see only him, but maybe he got separated from the pirates or something. Hmm... I kinda like ShadowLord's theory...very unique.
16. In Link's Awakening, how many Ocarina songs can you get and what do they do?
17. The quote of the week is by the mayor.
18. I'm pretty sure my first game was also SMB and Duck Hunt. Wow... That was so long ago I don't even remember if I ever beat Mario or not. I also got a Sega when I was like 4 or 5, so I grew up on Sonic too.
19.
Originally posted by SonicSlash it doesnt have to be steps...it is very possible to,foresay, use a hookshot using 2d cliffs...
Yeah, but to go up and down at the same time? Maybe its just me, but I just dont see it happening. I hope im wrong, though. More 2D zeldas would be great!
20.
Originally posted by SonicSlash All he has to do is use what Golden Sun does to get things higher and lower. It can be done...
Heh, I believe it can be done, but I afraid that just using steps or whatever might make it too easy. No one wants that;p (i hope..)
21. I'm pretty sure Sonic Mega Collection could be one. I think the point behind the graphics is (duh!) to keep the games as they were o n the Sega Genesis; I have some of those games on Genesis and I know I think it would doing the games injustice to alter it. Goeman was also a great game, but only the people who tried it knew, and too many people just ignored it. It provided quite a challenge, too. At one point I was so frustrated because I kept doing the same part OVER and OVER and OVER for several hours that I accidentally broke the video/audio cable and my brother was really pissed at me. However, I still want to buy it if I ever see it somewhere. My personal opinion is that Kirby: The Crystal Shards was underrated. I only knew one person who ever bought it. I rented it and beat it after about three days, but it was really fun to find the shards and experiment with different enemy combos.
22. Wow, that is a really great idea. I just played the demo and loved it! However, i'm a little skeptical about how they are going to do the dungeons, because in the 3D games it has a big basis on being able to go higher or lower, like the water temple in OoT. They might need to remodle some of them, but I'm sure they'll find a way. *starts drooling at the thought*
23. There are lots of good games, but I'd have to single it out to three: Tactics Ogre:Knight of Lodis Breath of Fire 2 and i can't forget Golden Sun: The Lost Age! These games are my favorite GBA's, i can't pick just one. :edit: oh yeah, i forgot advance wars! can't wait for #2!
24. Over in a s/w corner of the screen there is a bush you can use Cyclone(?) on. When the bush is gone, a djinni pops out and hides underneath the statue. Use tremor to fish it out. :note: remember not to double post, EMU!
25. N64 had some classics- I'll never forget games like goldeneye, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and StarFox. N64 set the stage for some pretty good games, some of which have sequels on GameCube.
