You gotta have imagination... I personally only use Photoshop and Image Ready, but only Photoshop is already enough, because I used to use it... Now, you can search for some tutorials with google or any other search engines, and search for "photoshop tutorials"... You will get lots of results, and some will help you finding what you want, and other than that, I can only say, originality is the key ;)

Have you really, "forgotten"? I mean, so far I know, you can't do transparency with paint... Can you? --{And the banner looks good, although, the bg doesn't match even a little bit with kenshin... Maybe if you made it blue (I know the original is green OK?), it would match Kenshin more...}-- *edit* ^^; Scratch the banner comment... I thought you had put it here for commenting ^^;

I don't like Digimon, but that looks very good... You got some pretty crisp colors, plus a well defined line... It's good... 9.5/10

I'll tell you one thing, don't make the main image the same color as the background... It doesn't look good, and don't put so much text on a banner, and also, make that Vash with a little better wuality...

Oh my God! O.O I LOVE the way you colored that thing, even though I don't really like the fading of the background clouds really, I love the dinossaut, and the colors ^_^ 9.8/10

I like it! Very dark-ish >=) lol, but yeah, the quality itself is a bit low... If you can, try downloading or buying Alien Skin's Image Doctor... It's good for fixxing image quality ^_^

Agreed with the guitarist thing... I listen to mostly bands which have good guitars... And even though you don't like rap, you shouldn't be sayin that... I'm almost sure that someone will disagree with you, and it will become a flaming war very soon enough...

Hmm... I don't like it really much... The way it shades so suddenly seems weird to me... And the text is hard to read...

I like it very much... It has style, and the background blends well with the pic ^_^

Hey Anakin, you can always try searching for Photoshop tutorials everywhere on the internet... I can list some links here, though I don't know if some still work... It gets you to some good places... OR, you can always try PMing or IMing people to ask... lol Now back to topic, I liked a lot how you made those spikey blending things there... Look vedy good... But I think you could change that grid to something different... Though I dunno if some wavy textures or something different... Although that's just my personal opinion ::is tired of seeing so many grids:: lol

Same here for comp-coloring... I only started a few weeks ago XD Anyways, it's not bad... I would say that I liked the drop shadows a lot... Normally they wouldn't look really good, but they did there... And I don't like Digimon, so I can't tell if the face is right or what... But yeah, you could've done some better shading on some parts here and there, but overall, it's not bad...
