I think it's stupid, Mc Donalds' has calories guides available to the public if they want to see how much FAT they're going to eat. So it's not Mc Donalds fault, what do people expect when they eat fatty greasey fries, a large calorie filled coke, and a greasy burger everyday...please don't tell me you eat like that every day and not plan to die of a heart attack, when you like 40? Please!! People should take responibilty for their own health, and not sue just cause they were to lazy to walk into Subway. Now I'm not saying I don't eat fast food, but I eat it in moderation...like one or twice a week at the most. Please people, instead of serving court lawsuit, go eat some place healthier for you...simple as that.

Just wondering on what your thoughts are on the afterlife situation... Whether you believe in Heaven or Hell or neither. When you die what happens, does it go black and is that purgatory? Here's my take on the situation: Once you die, your own life is played before you, and every hurt you ever caused someone else you than feel. Or every joy, ect... But all the emotions are intensified, and once your life is done, you go to heaven. Everybody does, for the film you see is either a punishment or a reward for you living a good/bad life. The only reason someone would go to hell, is if they were truely unsorry for the acts they did against god, themself, another, or humanity. So what are your takes on it all? Sorry for the downer mood of this thread, I thought it would be nice to hear others opinions, and open some peoples to new ones. The thing about the OB is that the threads are always changing, mixing it up....It nice to hear and to help others on their problems; whether from a boyfriend to just questions about life in general. The OB is a place where people can go and vent their problems or share their joys.:)

Poltical sides should NEVER outweigh one's beliefs in their self morals. Human rights for all, it is every thing god given right(or whatever you believe in or if you believe in anything at all) to live a life free of oppression against them. And it's others responibilty as GOOD HUMAN BEINGS to help others in pain, suffering, hunger, or whatever. The question is how can one just there, like getting their hair done or playing video games, do nothing. Knowing that someone out there is straving in some 3rd world nation. We need to help them, NOT BECOME DICTATORS!!! It's their lives, all we should do is offer help and guidance. May everyone be safe, all may soul be happy and fulfilled.

I'm trying to learn my native language, Korean. OMG it's so hard trying to figure out the stackings of the characters of the Hagul language and uh...I know how you feel. It's a little overwhelming at times but stay with it. I hope you succeed in learning Japanese...What worked for me is books, tapes, and websites. Just keep looking for them, and maybe if you're lucky enough to have an Japanese friend, they can help you.

I'm not in College yet, but I've thought about it. I'll double major in Mass Communications and Creative Writing.(Despite my lack of spelling ability) It'll be hard, but after I'm done I hope to Be a journalist, but if I get my dream of being an Actress, I'll remember you all....

I liked Clarissa Explains it All, that Camp One(can't remeber the name), Rocko's Modern Life...all good. Ah, the old days..remembing the younger days of like 6 and 7. ;0

I saw it and , OMG Johnny Depp was so hot in it....;) The movie is a must see if (for the ladies out there) you like hot guys, cool fight/action scenes, and the not a half bad plot. The leading lady's acting was a bit poor, but oh well! You should go check it out for the fights, graphics, of course Johnny Depp...:) But just remember it's 2 hours long so be patient.

I really love Audery Hepburn in the movies I've seen her in, my favorite is : Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love her because she always plays the hopeless romantic down on her luck...I guess I have pity on her, and yet I look at her great classic Hollywood charm. Katerine Zeta-Jones is also a fave: movie- Catherine the Great, Chicago. I love her for she is just beauty inside and out. Now for my favorite....the GUYS!!!! Cary Grant- another classic Hollywood, dashing, romantic, handsome hero.....:) Keanu Reeves- Matrix, Matrix: Reloaded, Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure, ...ect. He's cute, action hero, funny, cute, and did I mention cute? Paul Walker- Fast and Furious, 2 fast 2 furious....Hot! Action Buff!! That's it for now, I think.....;)

Put either a cold washcloth on your head, warm if it's a migraine. Lay down and try to relax while listening to soft music or sleep. The important thing is to reduce the noise and choas level around you. And if you have a hangover, you deserve it....hope this helps.

What??? Image and Personality are both important; you need personality to build a realtionship on, but if there's no attraction you are better off talking to a wall. Personality is the 1st choice though, but he better have some good features or no go.

In response to Chris, THATS SO NOT FUNNY ABOUT VOMITING!!! I have friends who are so skinny from that, that they are almost like walking ghosts. I'm trying to find a healthy way to lose weight. Good suggestion, i think i'll try going sit ups while watching my favorite tv show....keep up with the ideas.

Please be positive...... :flaming: Okay I recentally lost about 17 lbs at the end of the school year. I thought it'd be good for summer and all, plus I kinda needed to. I'm 5 foot 2 inches and was about 147lbs. Not Good...so I got down to 130. But just now I went on vacation and at the end if the week and 1/2 I thought I looked a bit chunky agian around the waist, so I weighed myself....big problem. I gain 4-5 lbs....All I want to do is to get down to about 120-125lbs. :bawl: I know alot of you are going to say you should just love yourself and that stuff. But I am a short Korean, and people, for some reason, expect all Asains women to be peite and small. Someone told me I wasn't the average Asain. I asked them what that was, and they told me small and peite. Well I'd like to be that, they told me since I came to the U.S when I was a baby, my life diet wasn't probally as healthy as to Asains in Asia. So I'm asking anyone if they know of any good excerises to lose the weight.(NOT CRAZY DIETS OR TAE BO CLASSES) Just lose weight, not become bulky with muscle...especailly with the little bit of chub on the belly. Please help...:confused:

It not a bad idea, but I think not. Kagome, is the one and only incarnation of Kikyou. That shows the attraction with Inuyasha and Kagome, if Sango was a re incarnation of Kikyou than Inuyasha would be also attracted to Sango, which he's not. Kagome only. Nice theory, but not logical.

I think it's here to stay, there are too many hard core anime fans now...and it wouldn't just go away. I hope it never does for it is the fizzle on the televizzle, as Snoop Dogg would say.lol^_^ It's here to stay, even if it becomes not as popular as before, people will stay with it cause it awesome. The anime cartoons are made with an excellence, that rarely is seen in american or any other cartoons. When I see a anime cartoon, I know that's it's anime because of the quality of the animation. It's not passing fade at all, it may just be a cartoon for some, but for hard core animers it's a way of life. And come on once you see anime, you are hooked. And all other cartoons are no longer the same, because anime is the best. And will stay the best if it's loyal supports stay behind it. Anime is here, so get use to it, or leave. Simple as that.

No way...My Geometry teacher was so bad. He had no expression in his face what so ever, and all off the sudden you'll get a chill down you spine, and he'll be standing over your shoulder. CREEPYYY!! And my stupid english teacher, he told stories all the time and never got to the lesson, and he treated us like pre-schoolers, giving us pictures to color and stuff. My spanish teacher, 1st semster, she thought ever activity had to be slow, and taught carefully. Even if it was something so basic as learning the spanish alphabet. None of my teachers really like me, cause I tell them I'm not challenged and then they tell me to just sit there. But then I end up talking, and "bothering the others student who are trying to learn" (yeah right...)I sit there bored half way out of my mind. When i am bored I just choose to take up new hobbie. Like I am learning how to speak and write in Korean. And anyways getting back to the subject, I dislike a few. They all dislike me, except for one. A really cool teacher, he's nice, and know's what it's like for me, so whenever I'm bored, I go to his room and work on an independent study that I choose. This up coming school year I plan to have 3 classes with him, because he's so nice. Take the good and the bad with teachers i guess.

Getting to know new people, it's always nicce to make friends. I know I sound just like Mr. Rogers, but it is nice to find people who can relate. And pie...I love warm pie right out of the oven. (not in the american pie why either!Get you mind out of the gutter)And a good joke now and then doesn't hurt either.

I'm smart(i think), I'm going into 10th grade and taking some 11th grade classes and I'm in ELP(it's a program where if you score in the 90% or higher on this Standard Test you get excepted into this class where it's suppose to challenge you more). I just want to be prepared is all. I try hard, because I know were I want to go in life I'll have to work 10x times harder in life.

My private place is my room, I just like to sit in my room and vibe. You know lissten to music, read mags and books, call friends. I love being able to go in my room to do yoga, meditate(spelling), or to do just relax. It's nice to get away from the world sometimes, but it's also nice to get out wit friends and get crazy!!! I think that everyone needs some space sometimes.
