1. Kristopher sat down at the computer terminal in the lobby. His eyes gazed at the garish images flashing by on the monitors. Somone had flicked it on to the surveillance cameras. "Hmmm..." He switched over the monitor, looking at the various camera videos. He gave up, seeing nothing that could have been put to use. "Damn..." Tahlia cam up to him, and she looked at the cameras. "Nothing interesting to see, huh?" "No. Not really. I'm trying to guess just what to do. I could go and find the crime files, it might help me find anything to take to the government. Umbrella had the police unit here on a tight leash, they over looked a lot for them." "Should we go look?" "Sure. Why not." Kristopher looked over to the cop. "Hey. Officer. I need to get into the crime files. Any incidents regarding Umbrella will come in handy. I swear, when I get out of here, I'm taking them to the U.S. congress." "The anti-virus, too?" Tahlia asked. "Of course." Lance looked them over, and shrugged. "Fine. Let's go." The three took off down the hall, and they came to another, smaller waiting room off of the lobby. Kristopher turned the corner, to see something move across the glass. He reeled back, and his eyes were wide with fear. "What is it?" Lance asked, hesitant to even want to know. "I.... I don't know. It wasn't a zombie, that's for sure." Kristopher's heart was racing. What if there were several of those things? "It's... a monster. I.... haven't seen anything like it." He touched the door, and opened it, if only to come face to face with a zombie itself. Kris raised his gun, and blasted it in the head, splattering its brains everywhere. Off in the distance, he heard a window shatter. Whatever had been outside, it was inside now. Kristopher took a hesitant step forward, but knew he had to get those files. He led the way, his gun held low. He walked around a corner, to see a puddle of red liquid on the floor. He walked slowly torwards it, focused solely on the floor. He came to it, and bent down. He realized it was blood. Something dripped onto his shoulder, and he saw it was clear. He looked up, and saw with frightened eyes the thing that had been on the window. He screamed, and it dropped down on him, he quickly rolled out of the way, and raised his gun at it. He saw it had no eyes, it looked like it had no skin either. It looked like raw muscle, and it opened it's mouth, showing many, many teeth. IT lett out a hiss, and Kristopher's blood ran cold. The gun he was holding wouldn't be enough to stop it. The thing's open mouth let out another hiss, and a tongue slid out like a whip. Kristopher screamed. "Someone help me!" He began shooting, running away. The thing lept from wall to wall, leaving huge claw marks. "HELP ME!" He ran into a janitor's closet, and shut the door behind him. The think slammed into it, piercing the door with long claws. The door buldged, and he put all of his weight against it. The thing pierced the door once more, and Kristopher screamed again, crying. He thought it was the end. He cried out as it clawed the door again, this time the claws even closer. "Help me!" he sobbed.
2. Kristopher looked out the window, and sighed. "I'm far from a normal kid. I worked from Umbrella for almost two years." His face gimanced, and he turned and hopped over the counter. "By the way, Payton, thanks for saving my ass back there." Payton shrugged. "We're all trying to survive here. No biggie." Kristopher started fiddling around, tinkering with various items. "I'm quite valuable to Umbrella. They want me back. I know all too well the methods they use to get what they want." Kristopher sat back, and soon enough, the smell of coffee filled the room. "I'm not going to bother with my real name. I'm sure Umbrella boy over there already knows. However, it's not important at the moment." He started pouring coffee into mugs, and he sighed. Bringing it over, he sat down at the table. His server experience came by habit, he poured sugar and cream into the coffees, and then he looked around. "We each need our energy if we're going to survive. Drink up." He lit up a cigarette, and took a drag. "Umbrella is responsible for what happened to Raccoon City. They developed a virus, unbeknownst to even the government. They developed it right here in Raccoon City, although the labs are an unknown number of feet down. I've forgotten that detail." He took another drag, and continued. "Umbrella manufactured the virus. They created vaccine, but-" "You escaped with the supply." Draco started. "Idiot. Do you really believe everything you're told? I did not take all of it. I merely took a single vial. Can I continue with my story?" Draco grunted, and Kristopher was beginning to dislike him intently. "Well, low and behold, the virus got out, obviously starting in the Hive, the laboratory underneath the city. As I was saying, they had developed an anti-virus, but it never got the chance to be used. If I'm not mistaken, the hive would have shut down all functions and killed all of the employees, knowing they were infected. But I assure you, there wasn't just people down there. There were other creatures, and they are far more dangerous." "But, how did the virus get above ground?" Tahlia asked, intent on knowing. "Simple. Rats escaped the labs. They spread the disease, along with whatever parasites they had on and in them. Then, to make matters even worse, they opened the Hive. And then, chaos. Fast forward, and we have have today's Raccoon City." Draco leaned forward. "I was sent in to extract you." Kristopher looked at Draco. "If you're here to extract me, think again. I'm not going back to Umbrella, after what they did to me, and this city. You know it as well as I do." Draco looked at his watch."We have two days to get out of the city. In two days, the city gets sanitized." Kristopher snorted. "I figured as much. Wiping everything out is their only option. Tell me, is it a nuclear war head? I know a five mega tone nuclear missile is enough to do the job. Will they over do it?" "I wasn't informed on the particulars." "Well, before I leave the city, I have to get to the Zoo. The anti-virus is in my car. I had to abandon it in a hurry, when Chevy's was attacked. A friend of mine borrowed it." "How do you know it's still there?" Payton asked. "He could have high tailed it with your car." "He was one of the zombies that attacked Chevy's, along with thirty other monsters." Tahlia shuddered. "So... It's off to the Zoo, is it? I don't want to even think about what's going on there..." Kristopher stood up. "Neither do I, but I have no choice. I need to get that vial."
3. The subway train rocketed down the tracks, picking up more and more speed. Kristopher guessed that the end of the line was fast approaching. One by one the streets flached by, and he was starting to see limping figures wandering down into the subway, attracted by the sounds of the train. He smiled nervously, trying to make himself feel better about the situation. "I'm going off the rails on a crazy train!" He warbled, singing a classic hit of Ozzy. Soon enough, he saw the light at the end of the tunnel, and prayed he wouldn't be seeing it for real in a minute. He pulled he decelerator lever, and down on the emergency brake. The train screeched, and he ducked down behind the condustor booth, momentarily blinded. The train still screeched, but had only slowed down a littlewhen the end of the line came up. The train car rocketed into the air, and slammed back down, barrel rolling down the rest of the line. Kristopher screamed, hoding on for dear life to the remains of the car as it was ripped apart from the tracks and various obstacles. Finally, the ruined car smashed into another train, and thus did he look around. The car was demolished, half of the roof was peeled away, some of the seats were torn from their bearings. The entire front of the car was a mangled mass of metal, and all of the windows in the car were shattered. He stood up, shaken. His face was bleeding, and he pulled a piece of glass from his hairline. He coughed from all of the dust that had arose from the wreck. He staggered to the back door, only to find it had swung open, ripped entirely from its hinges. He stepped of the train, reminding himself that he was never taking it again. He looked around, several zombies were already converging on him. "Oh god damn it!"
4. "Man...Where the hell am I?" He looked around for a sign, and he saw one. "East Bluff Street' it read. Kristopher sat down on the side of the platform. He didn't know quite what to do. Raccoon City was finished, there was no doubt about that. But, Kristopher also knew that Umbrella had quite a few tricks, Umbrella would be moving to sterilize the city. With what, he didn't know. But, it was a common sense move on their part. They wouldn't allow the infection to spread beyond the city. So, it would have to be wiped out. A nuclear war head would do the trick, but he didn't know if that would be the method they used. "Damn it." Kristopher knew he had to get the subway moving, and he gazed at the keys in his palm. They probably weren't going to start the train, although there was one just to the right of him. He needed to get to the Zoo, but the subway would only take him so far. He'd have to get off the train by the Cityview Apartments and walk about six miles. He was much further away from it now, the train would definitely get him closer. He didn't know what exactly was near the station depot, where he needed to get off. He knew very well that he might never see the light of dawn again. He thought for a moment, pondering what he might be able to do. He got up and inspected the train, finding nothing significant. From the condustor's booth, he could hear sounds that didn't sound like anything a human would make. He groaned, and decided to leave that be, at least for now. He flicked through the keys, and tried them on a locked door. Eventualy, one did work, and he opened it, flinging it open and dodging to the side. Nothing. He breathed a sigh of relief, and walked down the passage. He saw the electrical room, and ventured inside. No monsters, but the circuit board for the tracks had been flipped. He flipped them, but knew his work wasn't done. The tracks may have juice now, but he wasn't sure that was all that needed to be done. He ventured out back into the hallway, to hear a shuffling noise, and a very loud squelch. "Shit...." He breathed. He backed against the door, ready to open it. From around the corner it came, a gigantic insect. Most likely one of the fleas. Kristopher's expression twisted into terror. It jumped at him, and he screamed, flinging the door open, just in time for the sucker to get lodged in the door, having narrowly missed him on the other side. He screamed again, and shut the door, trapping it on the other side. He took deep breaths, the other thing was coming. He looked around, and took his backpack off. The flea had managed to free itself, but it wasn't attacking him again, it was still trapped on the other side of the door. The zombie came around the corner, and he swung his bag, knocking it in the head, causing it to fall backwards. He swung his bag down again, hitting it over and over. But all the bag did was buff it, and he ran back out into the subway at large. He ran out onto the platform. He sighed, and slumped down onto the concrete. Not knowing what the hell to do, he looked around the dimly lit area. The dark tunnel ahead didn't look inviting, but he knew he would be too vulnerable there in the dark. He walked back over to the train, and looked over to the conductor's booth. the zombie was still clawing around, but it was now rattling the handle. His eyes opened wide as he realized what was about to happen. He ran out of the train, crying. "God damn it!" He ran to the platform stairs, if only to come face to face with another zombie. He screamed again, and turned to run back down the stairs. He downed then in a leap, and scrambled to the end of the platform. He looked around for anything he could use as a weapon. He looked around, and saw a plastic 'wet floor' sign. He picked it up, ready to whap anything that attacked. He took a few breaths, and waited for the zombie to emerge from the train. He waited until it had cleared it, and then ran full force with the sign. He swung it up, and clipped it upside the head, sending it onto the tracks. There were several ZAP! noises as it was fried on the charged tracks. He sighed, and turned to the zombie coming down the stairs. IT tripped, and rolled down them, but it wasn't down. It crawled torwards him, the bloody rags it was wearing trailing on the floor. He waited until it was close, and then he jumped down. He looked over now,and saw that the second tunnel was blocked down the way, It had collapsed, probably from the school exploding. In the other direction, he could hear scuffling, like a giant insect was scurrying around. He watched, and avoided the train tracks as the zombie fell from the platform. Kristopher thought it might not make it to the tracks, but it stood up slowly, and stepped torward him. He waited until he had enough time to get away before charging it. He pushed it beside the other zombie, and there were more zaps and frying sounds, until it stopped moving, and smoked just like the other. He sighed, and got back up from the tracks onto the opposite side of the platform. He looked around, and sw another 'employees only' door, and decided he might as well go down fighting if he was going to die. There was nothing he could do, and if he wanted to survive, he was gong to have to take some risks. He opened the door with the keys, and slowly made his way down the hall. He came across the break room, and ventured inside. He sighed, and kicked the vending machine until the glass broke out. He sat his bag on the table, and started eating. He was well aware of the little amount of time he had. Standing up, he walked back to grab his backpack, but hesitated, looking at the lockers around him. There had to be something he could use in here. He lisened for a moment, and then lifted various latches on lockers. He found another key, this one labeled 'janitorial closet'. He pondered where it would be, but decided to go and find it. He knew there had to be some weapons or something to help him, at least a pipe wrench. He grasped his bag, and walked back out into the hall, and looked down the hall. He came to the janitor's closet, and used the key to unlock it. He tossed it away, and looked inside. Finding his desired pipe wrench, he smiled. This was a lot better than the backpack he was wielding. He looked for anything else he could use, but found nothing. He sighed, and walked back out into the hall. Then it hit him to check the switchboard room. Possibly there was an auto start to the train system. that would get him out, and possibly kill whatever was in the tunnel. He smiled, and like he thought, he activated the trains he needed to move. The train system was easy to follow, and he could soon hear something coming down the tracks. He walked back out on to the platform, the distant sound of a train coming comforting to him, as it was an almost normal sound in this nightmare that never seemed to end. He could also hear the the sounds of whatever was in the tunnel scurrying around. It wasn't coming out, that was a good sound. In the dim light, which grew brighter as the lights flickered on, he could see several slime coated masses. Whatever was making the noises was hidden from sight by all of the slime, but he knew it was big. He could hear the train coming ever closer, and soon there was a wet noise as it ripped through the slime and hurtled down the tracks. It slammed into the collapsed area of the tunnel, grinding to a halt. Kristopher could hear sparks, the electricity on the tracks was sparking. He ran back across the platform, and into the conductor's booth.. He saw the reason the train wasn't moving, it wasn't switched into the 'forward position' and the tunnel behind the lead car was collapsed. "I so need to get the hell out of here." He took a breath, and looked over the coupling on the outside of the train. He pressed various buttons, until there was a latching sound, and the cars behind the lead car came undone. He bolted to the front car, and halted, an unearthly screeching sound coming from his ears. "The... queen..." He breathed, realization hitting him like a tone of bricks. Now he knew what had been in the tunnel. Turning to look out the front window, he saw only too well the queen flea coming at him. She let out another unearthly screech, and stepped into the full light. Kristopher's heart stopped. She was far larger than the thing that had attacked him earlier. Kristopher shook himself, she seemed hesitant to come into the light. Behind him, he heard a fire, the oil ised to lubricate the subway cars had sparked. Fire was spreading behind him. He was in a prediciment. He shook himself, he needed to do this. "What's the matter, scared of the light? Don't want to come get me?" He taunted. He switched the train into the forward position, and it started picking up speed quick. "If you're not coming for me, then I'm coming for you!" Kristopher ducked down behind the booth, and heard the scream of the queen. There was a violent thud, and the front window shattered. Bug guts splattered into the car. He peered around, and saw the queen had indeed met her end. However, she wasn't dead yet. Her body all but useless, she flailed her legs, trying to get at Kristopher. He swung his leg up,kicking the queen in her log tube, the tube used to drain her prey. He didn't want to think how many people had met their fate by that. She lost her feeble grip, and began scrambling to recover it. Kristopher swung his backpack at her, hitting her in what was left of her head, sending her under the rolling train. He sat down on the seat, exhaling. He lit up a cigarette, and took a deep drag. He'd barely survived another encounter with a monster. Just for how much longer would his luck hold? He smoked his cigarette, hoping he would find something to better defend himself.

6. oo la la... dirty, gritty, violent, and drugs. Gotta love it. Name: Lust(real name unknown) Age: 24 Gender: male Appearance: Aside from the picture, the tattoo that marks him as a Heretic is located on his lower abdomen, disguised as a barcode tattoo. Personality: Sarcastic, masochistic, and all around sweetie. But he's far sweeter when out for a kill. Toxic love is his game, and he's always up for some fun. Sweet as sugar, and as deadly as poison. He knows how to play the game, he can sweet talk even the most stuffy of prudes. He's got his friends, and plenty of enemies. He just doesn't care. Don't get him wrong, however. He's more than willing to help a girl get her cat out of a tree and such. As much of a sinner as he is, he's also a pretty decent guy, granted he's got a lot of issues, and more than his fair share of quirks. But, unless you piss him off, you'll never see anything but his sweet smile. People often wonder if he has split personalities. History: Nothing is known for sure about him at this time. He is thought to be an elitist, rumor has it he is Vahn Remmington, a member of a narcotics syndacate that greatly funded the resistance, until the group was caught and the members executed as a public spectacle. Vahn's name does not appear on the list of those who were caught, and is one of only two members at large. His artificial limbs are a mystery to everyone, he's never told anyone how he got them. Weapons: He has a simple baretta M.45. He's skilled in gymnastics, ju jitsu, hand to hand combat, melee fighting, tai kwan do, and most of the martial arts. Vice: As his name implies, it's lust. He's a sex addict. Bedding with a different person every night if he wishes, he has only a few steady 'bed buddies'. Seldom does he go to bed alone, he knows how to get anyone he wants. Sample: Lust sat a table in a lush overview of the city, a glass of red wine in his left hand. "Ah, the simple pleasures..." "Well, aren't you accustomed to the life of luxury." A man sat down across from hom, ignoring Lust's feet propped up on the table. Lust's attire was far from appropriate, he wore what he usually did, his bare abs pale in the light of day. The tattoos on his lower abdomen showed up brilliantly, the image of the barcode hiding the real significance of the tattoo itself. "You have some buisness for me to handle?" Lust stated, and took another sip. He breathed in the scent, and smiled. "Heaven." "Indeed. You must really be something to be so... flashy." "I see no reason not to be, Kiba. It's not like I have anything to worry about. I just keep one step ahead of my enemies, and deal with those that get too close." Lust shrugged. "Besides, It's gotten you into my bed on more than one occasion." "No worries?" "Nope. I'll start worrying when I start having problems with getting an erection. On a side note, after we get done with buisness, wanna do some pleasure?" He stood up, taking his wine glass into his hand. His other hand lied flat on the table, until he moved around the table to Kiba. He sat on the edge of the large table, it was sturdy enough to hold his slight frame. His eyes cast their spell once more, and Kiba was his for the plucking. So much for Kiba claiming to be straight, at least when Lust was involved. Kiba looked taken aback by the sheer gall of Lust, but he continued. "I am merely playing informant. There is an important official staying here at the Louise today. He is suspected of leaking information to the Theocracy. You have been asked to kill him." Lust snorted into his glass. "Well, I already knew that." "Yes, there's more. Because of him, the Theocracy is moving ever closer to some of our more established members. Get rid of him." "Is that all? And I thought you had something more challenging for me to do today." Lust sighed in mock frustration and shrugged, before taking another sip. "Which room is he in?" "Two floors up from this room." "Ah. Fine fine. Same layout as this room?" "Yes." "Guards?" "No. He is trying to keep things low key." "Then I will return within a few minutes." Lust got up from his seat and took one last drink from his glass before sitting it down, and stepping onto the wall. He knew his grappling hook would work wonderfully here, bue he didn't have that luxury today. As nimble as an acrobat, he took a running jump, and grasped the balcony above after leaping upwards from the one below. He repeated this motion, and he saw the room to which he needed into. Thankfully, the balcony set up wasn't too dificult to scale, nor too high for him to grasp and clamor onto. There would be no noise to alert the fool. He used his handy glass cutter, allowing only the slightest noise. He tipped the glass onto his hand and gently lied it on the balcony. He opened the handle on the door, and it swing open silently. Like a thief through the night he stole away into the bedroom, and approached the bed. His target was sleeping soundly, and quickly, Lust silenced him permanently by piercing him through the heart with the dagger he had brought for just such occasions as today. "Good night, sweet prince." Vahn said, and walked back out of the hotel room onto the balcony. "Simple as pie." He commented. He jumped back down, and pulled himself back onto Kiba's balcony, where he was waiting still. Lust picked up his glass, and smiled. "Cheers!" He raised his wine glass and took another drink, as if he hadn't killed someone only mere seconds before. "Now... about that pleasure...." Lust smiled, knowing Kiba was only too glad to oblige him. "Putty in my hands..." He thought to himself.
7. Kristopher wandered the halls, his foot steps hushed, he had no desire to cause attention to be brought to himself. He peeked into the cafeteria, if only to see an empty space. He crept along, and hopped the salad bar into the back. He looked around the pantry, before grabbing some bags of chips. He munched on them, and then looked around, most of the appliances were gas. "Hmmm...." He lit up a cigarette, and took a deep drag. He could blow up the school, and fry anything inside. He smiled, thinking that blowing up a school was every kids' dream. He put out his cigarette, and flicked on all of the stoves. They let out a hissing sound, Kristopher wasn't surprised. He could already smell the gas pouring out from the unlit burner. He grasped his backpack and darted for the exit. He skidded to a stop, a zombie lurched around the corner. He screamed, and swung his backpack on instinct. There was a dull WHAM!and The zombie fell over, but it wasn't out. It sat back up, and started clawing it's way across the floor at him. He backed away, scared. He looked around, looking for anything to fight it with. A fire extinguisher glinted on the wall. He ripped it from the bindings, and swung it with all of his might. There was a sickening CRACK as it made contact, and he slammed it over and over on the poor woman. When she no longer moved, he stumbled back, and fell over on to his ass. He reconized her as one of the cafeteria workers. His eyes welled up, and he started to cry. "I'm so sorry..." He knew she had already been dead, A victim of the virus. But still, he had seen her everyday since he had started school, it was almost too for him to handle. He took a deep shuddering breath, and looked around. There were no other monsters, so he got up and kicked the fire extinguisher over the dead woman and through a window. He started walking, the gas was filling the cafeteria. There was already enough to blow the cafeteria section of the school sky high.He walked over to the exit into the hall, and looked around. Nothing. The hall was desolate. He could see the main office down the hall, and the doors leading to the gym were just a little further. He guesstimated he might be able to make it to the outside, those doors into an even more dangerous nightmare were just in front of him, no more than fifty feet away. He turned, and lit a cigarette. He took a deep drag, and then flung it into the gas, turning around and high tailing it down the hall. He took a running leap at the doors leading to the outside, smashing them open, just as the gas ignited. A roaring fireball blasted torwards him, and he scrambled to get away from the fire hurtling torwards him. The heavy metal doors on the entrance to the school were blown off their hinges, and a plume of fire and smoke rose into the air, along with bits of tile and metal. Kristopher crouched, his hands over his head, he had escaped. One of the doors fell onto the ground beside him, bent, the glass in it shattered. "On that note... I think it's time to go..." Kristopher got up and looked behind him. The front of the school was lighting up like the fourth of July. "Yeah... that should do the trick. At least what's inside the school won't be getting out." Kristopher looked around, and ran off down the street. He saw a few of the infected, they turned to him, and started after him. There were far too many, he couldn't dodge them all, they were everywhere now, attracted by the commotion. He looked around, searching for an escape. Then, he saw it. An entrance to the subway. He darted torwards it, swinging his backpack like it was his last desperate hope. He slid into the stair well of the subway, falling onto a dead body. He screamed when it grabbed him by the ankle, and he launched his foot into the face of his attacker. It let go, momentarily stunned. He screamed and ran off down the stairwell. Ahead of him was a shutter, and he grabbed it and slammed it down, the latch was broken. He knew it would hold off any of those creatures, they weren't smart enough to raise it up. He walked down the passage way, finding himself at the turntables. He jumped one, and looked around. Dim lighting, grungy tiles, and blood stains. He wasn't surprised, everywhere was like this. If there wasn't a corpse, then there was blood. To his right were public restrooms, to his left were stairwells going down to the actual subway itself. He could hear nothing, so he walked over to the bathroom. He opened the door, only to see a dead subway worker.Half of the ciling had collapsed, something big had come through it. The body had been there awhile, but it wasn't moving. He collapsed against a wall to catch his breath. He looked over at the body, but saw no blood, save for a small stab wound. But, it wasn't a slit or a bite mark, it was a gaping hole. Nothing that had once been human could have made that kind of wound. Kristopher knew very well that the virus had the power to infect animals, but down here there were only insects, fleas and other such night crawlers. He shuddered, thinking about what kind of mutated creature could have killed the man. He sure as hell didn't want to meet it. Looking over the body, he spotted something glinting on the man's belt loop. A set of keys. He thanked his lucky stars, he could use something like that down here. He crawled over, praying the man didn't attack. He reached over, and removed the keys. The body made no motions, he thanked his lucky stars. He got up, the keys jingling in his hand. He didn't want to stick around in case what killed the subway worker came back. He left the bathroom, and made his way down the stair well.
8. hmmmm welcome aboard, Excel. By the way, love the screen name. EXCEL SAGA ROCKS!
9. OOC: WHA HOO! COLORS!:hippy: YAY MORPHINE! Dunan sighed, and he leaned over to Dawner. "Come on, let's go back to bed." "Huh? Why?" "Because I might want to snuggle up with you before we leave." "Oh." Dawner stood up, and so did he. The two walked back to Dunan's room, and he smiled. "I'm stripping down again." "What? Horny again?" Dawner's jaw dropped. "Nope. Just more comfy." Dunan lied back down, and he felt Dawner lie back next to him. "Hey. Dawner?" "What?" "Karyn heard us, right?" "Yeah." Dunan rolled over. "Why would she listen to something like that? I mean, come on..." "Well, that's Karyn for you." "I see. Next time, let's be even louder." Dawner just stared at Dunan, a blank look on his face. Dunan laughed, and put his head into the pillow, and within a few minutes he started snoozing, oblivious to the world. He dreamed of naked Dawners running around, then sprouting tails and throwing dodge balls. His next dream came in a flash, he and Dawner were embracing in the moonlight, their eyes both a pretty red color. Then, a bunch of can can dancers started marching in on them. His strange dreams continued on.... However, sweet dreams can go on only for so long. Soon, his dreams became nightmares. Dunan walks a dark hallway, his feet thudding loudly on the floor. He didn't reconize anything he saw, until he came to a child's bedroom. Up against the wall, was Dawner. Blood was trickling from his neck, from fresh bite marks. He looked around, and saw his other friends the same way, their eyes dull. Looking back at the figure of Dawner, he gasped. Dawner slumped forward, his blood pooling around him. Dunan raced for him, but the figure just got farther way. He ran as hard and as fast as he could, but to no avail. Dunan woke with a start, yelling out. Dawner had been sitting next to him, and came up behind him. "Shush... it was only a dream." Dunan trembled, and turned around, holding Dawner close. He heaved in breaths, but no words escaped his throat. Dawner comforted him sweetly. Dunan slowly regained his composure, but he was still troubled. He got up, and walked over the window, drawing the curtain open. His thoughts were heavy, and so, he spoke. His dream had shown him something, and he didn't like it. "Dawner." Dawner looked up at his name. "Yes?" "You've been thinking of asking me something, haven't you?" Dunan looked out the window, across the grounds. His eyes followed the coming clouds. Dawner looked startled. "How... did.... how did you know?" "It's not hard to discern, Dawner. You want to know what being a vampire is really like. Am I wrong in guessing... you want to be with me forever?" Dawner's eyes shot open, but he said nothing. He then curled up on the bed, looking at Dunan. Dunan turned from the window, his eyes glowing red in the dark. "For centuries I've been alone. I've always thought I could stop the pain of eternity, if I only didn't think about it, if I lived for only the moment. With you, I've felt more alive than I ever have in all of these years." Dunan took a step to Dawner. "If I wanted, I could take you and you'd never be able to resist." Dunan bore down on Dawner, coming closer, his eyes holding Dawner captive. There was no malicious intent, only a gazed that pierced through Dawner's soul. Dunan came ever closer, his footsteps light, yet audible. "If I made you into someone like me, then your spells would more or less be super charged with vampire energy, and you would grow ever stronger, more powerful. within a few weeks even, You might be able to hold your own against even me." Dunan leaned over Dawner, his hand caressing Dawner's face. Dunan's cold skin felt so smooth, so powerful. Liquid power flowed through Dunan's veins. He kissed Dawner, his lips like heaven, his touch intoxicating, leaving Dawner wanting him so much to remain with Dunan forever. "Eternity is a long time, Dawner. I will live it, and then live beyond even that. You will grow old and die, living for but a glimmer in time. Are you content to be by my side only as a mortal?" Dunan's eyes glowed ever more like embers, they gazed at Dawner almost as if searching his heart for the answer. "I'm willing to stand by you for the rest of your life, even when you are old and grey, and even for the rest of time, should you really desire that." Dunan stood back up, his eyes fading. "I will leave it to you to decide your future Dawner. I don't expect an answer right off, either. Let's wait awhile, I'm content either way you choose." Dunan turned back around and looked back out the window. He watched the clouds go by, his heart just as clouded. Rain drops began to fall. Dunan sighed, and lied back down, his eyes fixed on the window. "There is an old saying about vampire eyes." Dunan glanced quickly at Dawner's figure, lying beside him, before they flitted back to the window. "They say if you look into a vampires red eyes, you'll be taken away by them, held captive by their spell. Sometimes, even I wonder if there's truth in that phrase." Dunan turned over, and Dawner didn't move. He saw Dawner was watching him closely. Dunan breathed in, and his eyes burned. "Do you hate me, Dawner?" "No" came his reply. "It's.... just a lot to think about." Dunan closed his eyes, but he wasn't satisfied. He felt like Dawner was distancing himself, but then Dunan's eyes opened when he felt Dawner move to embrace him. Dunan smiled sadly, and placed his hand on Dawner's. "I love you, Dawner." "I love you, too, Dunan. I honestly don't know what to say. I can't give you an answer right now..." Soon Dunan drifted into uneasy slumber, his thoughts trailing with him into the dreams.
10. interesting signups. welcome aboard. let's hope some ladies join up....
11. Dunan made a funny noise, he looked like he was going to be sick. He groaned, and looked away. Dawner patted his back, and looked every bit as ill as he did. He held his hand up to his mouth as his cheeks expanded violently. He swallowed his vomit, and Dawner grabbed a glass and some water. Dunan gulped it down, and smiled feebily. "HEY! MY COCKING ISN'T THAT BAD!" Karyn shreiked. Dunan just smiled and cocked his head, apologizing. "I think I'm going to pass on eating..." "What, after making all this?" Draco commented, watching Karyn make another 'pancake'. Dawner put his hands on his hips. "You, mister, are going to eat something solid for once." Dawner pushed Dunan's plate at him. "Especially after making such a yummy spread." Grudgingly, Dunan began to eat what was on his plate. It smelled considerably better than the smell wafting through the doorway into the kitchen. He munched for awhile, until Karyn brought several more 'pancakes' to the table. Then, Dunan just couldn't eat any more. He excused himself, and hurried from the dining room after telling Dawner he should eat. He went back to his room, and threw off his trenchcoat before he grabbed a musty old book, which still smelled better than the faint yet still very prominent odor of Karyn's cooking. A normal human wouldn't have smelled it all the way up here, but he could. He concentrated on his book, and sighed. "Sleepy sleepy time..." He mumbled as his eyes quickly grew heavy. Soon enough, he was asleep, and the book tumbled to the floor, falling open on its spine
12. Dunan could smell the concoction, he wasn't sure if whatever she was making was even edible. "Um...Karyn?" "Huh? What?" "Um... let me cook, okay?" "Why?" Karyn looked confused, and Dunan didn't want to break her little heart by telling her she was a horrible cook. The smell coming from the pan was starting to make him feel ill. "Just let me cook, okay? I'm sure it will be every bit as...um... good as yours, okay?" Karyn scrunched up her face, peering at him. "Okay..." Dunan got out all of the ingredients, and proceeded to make pancakes, making a show out of it.He did everything a masterchef would do, and flipped the pancakes using the pan and throwing them up into the air.He made more and more, the pancakes going higher and higher until.... FLOP! Dunan looked down, and realised the pancake he had been making hadn't come back down. He looked up to the ceiling, and saw it was stuck there. "Oops..." Karyn burst into laughter, and Dawner merely looked puzzled, until he saw the pancake on the ceiling. "Oh...my..." He started cracking up too. Dunan shrugged, and said."Eh, that's what I get for being too confident." Dunan went about making another, and finished it in time for the ceiling bound pancake to peel off and come falling back into the pan. "I'll eat this one." he said, and made some more. Soon enough, there was a huge pile of pancakes on the table, and then they were moved to the dining room where a feast began. Dunan prepared some eggs, bacon, omlettes, sausages, and squeezed some fresh orange juice to produce a real breakfast. "Here we go!" he said, and brought in his creations. There were so many dishes, most of the others didn't know where to start. "Just eat!" Dunan exclaimed, and started piling stuff onto a plate.
13. Kristopher crouched in a corner of the room, he could hear shuffling sounds coming from the other side of the door. His breathing heightened, he shushed himself, and raised his school bag, ready to swing several textbooks at a moments' notice. The sounds slowly receded, and Kristopher shook himself. "Damn it!" He said aloud, and fell to his knees, exausted. He'd been running for a year now, but this time his past had really caught up to him. He wore his work uniform, a clean dress shirt and slacks, and on that was his apron. He could only wonder what had happened to his place of employment. He knew that there might be almost no one left alive in the city. From the open window he could hear nothing. The city was eerily silent. On occasion, he could hear random moans, a sign that those monsters were everywhere. He held up his text books, and sighed. He'd have to start moving sooner or later. On looking out the third story window, he saw the nightmarish landscape. Zombified people wandered aimlessly, cars were parked or wrecked, fires had broken out, some of them had burning bodies inside them. And a select few had burning bodies moving inside them. A police K-9 Unit had crashed just across the street, though the dogs inside were no where to be seen, save one, which was ripping apart a dead body down the street. This was the second week after the weird things started happening. He had dismissed the first few newspaper articles and broadcasts as the work of wild animals, but now he knew otherwise. The virus had spread like wildfire, soon enough infecting the entire city. He wondered why he hadn't tried to leave the city sooner, but then he remembered that Umbrella had been keeping a close eye on all of the roads leaving the city. They knew he hadn't left yet, but they didn't know where he was, either. He stood up, and creeped to the classroom door. All around him, there were signs that the undead had already been in here. Bloody hand prints were everywhere, desks were in disarray, and the chalkboard still had the homework of a few days ago on it, the board having been spattered with blood. Papers and text books were strewn everywhere, the floor was a serious tripping hazard. "God damn it..." He swore, and opened the door just a crack. He listened, and he could hear shuffling sounds. An unearthly groan echoed through the dark and bloody corridors. Again, random papers were strewn everywhere. Just across the hall was an open backpack, the contents littering the ground. Blood had pooled around it, the corpse missing. Kristopher sighed, and poked his head out of the doorway. Down the hall, there were two people, neither of them alive. The toddered and slowly moved around, both of them were facing away from him at the moment. Kristopher backed down the hall, careful not to make a sound. He knew they would eventually, but he moved away from them, they were slow, he could easily out manuver them. But, they weren't his concern. There were things far more dangerous in the school. He knew that the scent of living meat had to have drawn a few of the dogs into the school, if not all of them. He had no idea how many there were, nor where. He turned the corner to see one of the said beasts. "Ho' shit..." he said, backing up against the wall. It was eating one of the students. He looked around, and could see a class room door just a few feet away. He slowly stepped over, but it was too late. The dog had caught whiff of him, and turned its decomposing head to him. The dog barked, and what was left of it's snout lifted in a vain attempt to bare fangs. there was no flesh on it's snout to do so, but those teeth could be seen plain as day, even in the dim light. The dog started running, coming fast. Kristopher wasted no time, and ran tothe door. It wasn't locked, and he opened it into the head of the dog. The dog slammed into it full force, and there was a sickening crack. The dog slumped down, and stopped moving. Kristopher breathed out a sigh of relief, and moved back down the hall. He knew his textbook laden bag would get him past the people, but not the dogs. He ran full force down a flight of stairs, whacking a person out of his way. He ran to the office, hoping there was something he could use there to defend himself. He got to the door, and the hall was empty. The door wasn't locked, none of the doors were. No one had had time to lock up when the school had been attacked. He sighed, and entered the office. The office at least was in order partially. There were some paers on the floor, but no blood in sight. He searched around, ruffling through desks, opening drawers, and finding nothing. He walked back to the door, and sighed. "Just how am I supposed to get back to the Zoo? I got no car, no weapon...Man I'm screwed." He sighed, and moved back into the hall, hoping the cafeteria had something to settle his grumbling stomach.
14. The two made their way down to the living room, and Dunan stretched put on a love seat, he had donned a billowy trenchcoat and rolled up the sleeves. He bare abs looked almost translucent, the skin pale, flawless. He muscles twitched, and he drummed his fingers on the elegant wooden backing on the chair. Dawner sat next to him. Dunan looked skyward, then closed his eyes. He lit up a cigarette, he had found his lighter. He inhaled, and Dawner jabbed him in the ribs. "You know, smoking is bad for you." "Not like it's going to kill me, Dawner." "True enough." Dunan took another drag, and exhaled. He looked around, and then leaned back, allowing Dawner to lean against him. His eyes unfocused, listening to the movement of others in the manor. Dean came into the room, and Dunan put his free arm around Dawner. He took a drag on his smoke again, eying Dean. "Dean." Dunan spoke with force, but no anger. Dean looked over at him, and Dunan smiled. "I must say, I have to give you a hand. Not many people don't shirk away at the sight of me pissed off. And one other thing." "Yes?" Dean's brow furrowed. Dunan smiled even wider. "Sorry about the door. I'm still a little angry, but I will apologize for losing my temper." "It's fine, the door can be fixed." "Well, allow me to make up for it. I happen to be the owner of a certain gentlemen's club." Dawner snorted, and looked up at him."You own a nightclub? Let me guess, blood is a house specialty?" "Not exactly. We're a bit.. how do you say... 'risque'." "A nightclub, huh?" Dean's expresion was skeptical. Dunan placed his hand on his chin, looking rather like guilty, his expression mock innocence. "I won't lie, my girls are nicknamed the 'Diamond Dogs'." Dawner shot up, his eyes wide with realization. "You own The Ritz?" "Of course." "The Ritz? The most accomplished buisness in Paris?" "Yes, the one and the same. You might find we'll be going there soon. Information is a precious commodity. My ladies and my gentlemen specialize in gathering it." "Information, huh? And You'll get all of us in?" "Yes. I suggest that if we want to find Holden, we try there next. Who knows? Maybe we'll find something. Besides, a little rest and relaxation might do us a world of good."
15. Very good, Takuuya. Now, let's see who else has the balls to venture into the city....
16. Dunan watched Dawner's receding figure, and thought of Dean's words. Dunan went back into his room and started leafing through the books the librarian had brought to him. But, he just couldn't get into the books, and he thought on Dean's words. Dunan knew he was looking out for everyone, he wasn't angry at all for what Dean had said to him. He looked at his hand, how Dawner had just left him like that. Dunan was hurt. "You know what?" He said out loud. "Fuck this. I'm gonna go see what's wrong." Dunan chased after Dawner, looking around for him. He was getting sleepy, but Dawner was more important. He finally found Dawner speaking with Dean in the living room. Dunan leaned against the doorway, listening, his arms crossed. He cleared his throat, and the two jumped. "Dunan!" Dawner looked slightly embarassed. "I'm sorry about earlier." "It's fine. However, if something upsets you, then I ask that you at least run it by me first." Dunan sighed. "I kind of hurt the way you brushed me off." "What? I-" "Wasn't meaning to, I know. It's alright. Please, continue with what you were saying." Dunan looked into Dean's eyes, his own red eyes piercing into Dean's soul. Dunan looked away, and smiled. He understood quite well what Dean had been saying, and he would honestly try. But, He would still give anything to protect them, he would fight tooth and claw to do so. He listened as Dawner confided in Dean, with him present. Dunan walked over and put his arm around him, comforting him. He kissed Dawner's forehead, he was visibly upset. "Shush now, it's alright. You've got us here."
17. Dunan stretched, and twinkled his toe, gazing up at the ceiling. He pondered what would happen now. I'm all of his intelligence, he couldn't help but get frustrated thinking of the mission to come. There was too much in common, there was something bringing them closer together, but he didn't know why. He found his lighter, and lit another cigarette. "So much, for so little." he muttered. This Holden person, he'd heard that name before. His memory was failing him. "Holden.... Holden..." A possessed human, but possessed by what?" Dunan sat back down, and closed his eyes, thinking. "Holden...Holden..." His eyes popped open, and he stood up. He hurridly hiked up a pair of pants and hurried down to the library. He bumbed into Dawner, and excitedly told him what was going on. He rushed to the library, and spotted the library assistant with her nose in a book. She smiled at him, and said, "Can I help you?" "Yes, possibly. I'm looking for records of the city of Taloma, France, from about four hundred years ago.." "Pardon me for asking, but, why do you want something like that?" "The guy we're after. He's not human, but his body is. I remember him when he was human. I just need to trace him through the ages. I also need references on vampire and demon activities from the last 300 and fifty years." "Hm. I'll see what we got. If I'm not mistaken then I think that we have about sixty related books. I'll bring them to you." "Thanls."
18. Dunan and Dawner were in each other's arms, having already explored each other's anatomy. Dunan got up and grabbed his pants off the floor. He pulled them up, but left them undone. The remains of his clothing had been brought to his room, and he removed a silver ciggarette case from the remains of his jacket. He he searched for his lighter, but groaned when he couldn't find it. "Allow me. Vertos Meridia!" He snapped his fingers and a ball of fire appeared, lighting his cigarette. He took a deep drag, and offered it to Dawner. Dawner took a drag as well, and handed it back. "I'm good, thanks." Dunan sat back on the bed, his cigarette glowing in the dimly lit room. He smiled, and Dawner moved to sit next to him. "So, you were great." "Eh, was I? I just did what came naturally. I just had some fun. You were the one who was great. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were the vampire." "Now you're just flattering me." Dawner lied back down, naked as sin. He smiled sweetly. "Come here. big boy, ready for round two?" "How about the rest of round one?" Dunan chided, and was met with a pillow to his head. "Ass hole." Dawner kicked him playfully, knowing dunan was only kidding. Dunan lied beside him, and kicked of his pants. "Ready when you are.
19. A cool wind blows by me as I write this. My MP3 player sounds off with a meloncholy rendition of a grand sonata, and even still, this makes me feel even more grave. A glass of wine sits next to me, hald empty, the color a deep red, reminding me of the blood within my own veins. I suppose I'm wondering where I should be. I don't really know where the path I'm walking on will lead me. I wander the path, leading those who will follow. I hold the lantern, lighting the way. But, no one walks beside me. Long ago, I remember being happy. My life was full of promise. I believed i was here to bring smiles to people's faces, to guide them through their ordeals. Now, I ponder if I must walk my path alone, with no one by my side. Am I able to lead, but never find someone to walk by my side? Truely, is this my destiny? Life and love ever revolve around me, and I find myself lost on my path. I am able to lead, but I myself am lost to the chaos of time. I'm bless with the mercy of the holy mother, and cursed with the grim reaper's heart of stone. That is the self I portray. I am the dark angel, too good for hell, and too bad for heaven. I walk the path of eternity, forever guiding, forever alone. My tears are like ice, they fall from my eyes like precious pearls, glittering and beautiful, but far away from the sights of others. I suffer alone, all they see is a smile. Rarely have I ever let any one see me cry, and to those who have, you better feel DAMN priveledged. Roses in a vase... dead and wilted. How ironic I'm fascinated. So much inide my head, and no one to talk to about it. My curse, my blessing. It's both, and yet neither at all. I think of people from my past now, and wonder how they're doing. But, I lead another life now, and I don't wish to be dragged back into the past. The past is just that, though it makes us who we are. Sometimes, my life feels like a crazy train of which there is no stopping. I myself often say I crash, bash, and thrash my way through life. I've never burnt bridges, and truth be told, I'm a different person now from just a year ago. Such a short time, and yet, so much has happened. To be honest, I didn't think I would make it to see 23. But, things happened, and I met someone who gave me strength to persevere. But, me and them are no more. And you know what? Oh fucking well. Now, thanks to this past year, I have a whole life ahead of me. I'm weak, but my strength carries me forth. I cannot be destroyed. You wanna fuck with me? Come on, let's play. I'll take anything you got, and I'll rock your entire world. Fuck with me, and I'll roll you. I may have to go to the hospital afterward, but trust me, you'll be in far worse shape than me. I'll just have to go to the hospital because my heart might give out from the pressure it's under. You'll be unconcious with broken bones. Of course, I might die while in the hospital, but still. Despite that, I'm far more sweet than I care to admit. I dislike violence, I hate fighting simply because I know too well the power I have. I've taken on guys bigger than I am, smaller than I am, and the same size as me. I lose only when I want to. I'm not human when I fight. There's something else entirely housed within my mortal body, and it doesn't stop. It stops when my opponent isn't moving anymore. Rage is something I'm full of. It's one of my secrets. I've seriously hurt people because of it. And I hate hurting people. It rips me apart knowing what I've done. I'm not trying to be big and bad. All in all, I'm a softie, a pansy. Just don't piss me off, and all will be cool. I'm a sarcastic bitch, yes, but I will shy away from conflict unless I'm pissed off. Why am I babbling now? I have nothing real to say anymore. I have a whole life ahead of me now, and an inheritance I'm starting to tap into. I got money out the ass. I've got nothing to worry about, my health will eventually be just fine. I'm thrilled with myself right now, in all actuality. I've got a life I'm happy with. I've got people who care, and don't shun me for being who I am. That's more than a lot of people have. Compared to some, I have everything. I'm wild and passionate, caring and care-free. I'm a punk, and yet also a gentleman. I'll give everything I can, and keep no secrets. I've had to go through more than more people have, and seen more than most have. I can give advice, more than likely because if I didn't go through it, then I know someone who did. But, I'm sleepy. I'm going to bed now. Good night people
20. Welcome to the year 2132, and the world is in a very sad state. The supposed apocalypse has come, in the guise of war and disease. The majority of the world has fallen, leaving people to struggle to survive in a world gone horribly wrong. In the year 2103, disease ripped apart the nations of Russia, The United States, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, and Canada. Wars soon broke out, the cause was fear of the unknown disease. But just as it sprung up, so too did it die out, leaving entire cities wiped out, the ruins all but forgotten. In the year 2110, humanity began to rebuild, to make homes and cities. Only a mere 43% remained. Humans are hardy creatures, it's written into them to survive. And, as Humans persevered into the future, technology shot forth, unbridled in the advancements. One of human kind's greatest cities, Nar, is the pinnacle of society. It is the center of science and commerce. Bu, the second major city, is the center of agriculture. The outside world is vast, and curiosity and history speak for themselves. As such, humans began to adopt, and explore the once familiar world, now filled with hostile life. Those who were brave enough to go into the world, despite the danger, were often former mercenaries, as well as well paid to bring back data for scientists. But, in 2120, it was realized that certain problems were growing in the 'Old World', the land uninhabited by society. Nuclear weapons, lying untouched, were being seized, and the world held ransom. But as it was so dangerous, people emerged to rectify those problems, though, that was not the original use for them, as they were simply free lance archeolgists, and treasure hunters. The people themselves often come from various backgrounds. Some are elite mercenaries, some are wild life conservationalists, genetically enginered life forms, cyborgs, and even bureaucrats. And there are those yet from even odder backgrounds. But, they work for their own means, and, if while out doing what hired to do, they get their own desires fulfilled, so much the better. But, recently, many are being recruited for a mission like no other. The retrieval of several key nuclear powered ships, reactors, and several priceless paintings. Also, while on the mission, record what is seen, and the condition of major structures through out the world. The money is good, and going is tough. Are you ready to step up? Okay, as stated, this rpg is about people going into the desecrated world to find whatever they have been assigned to bring back. You may be anything you wish, within reason. Weapons, again, anything within reason, though of course, this is the future. Here is your sign up: Name: Anything goes here Age: 11 to 35 Gender: Self explanitory. Raccoon City Zoo: This fun and exiting zoo has been transformed into a dismal and frightening place, once harboring animals of interest, now harboring only mutated and undead monsters. They may no longer need to eat, but they still hunger......And watch out for Oscar the Elephant....he's not so nice anymore...... Having sent out a majority of the department to combat the monsters that have over taken the city, the building is devoid of all life, but that doesn't mean that it's empty. Umbrella Corps. Raccoon City Offices: Ah, yes, of course you could start here, where it all began, a hundred feet below this very spot.... But be forewarned, not all of the monsters spawned by Umbrella's experiments have escaped into the city. Now it's undead doctors are just dying to meet you...... and perform their own kind of special surgery on you..... Uniforms are required to attend school here, as anyone would know. But now those clean halls and decorative trophy cases aren't helping anyone, unless, of course, those trophies are great for being used as billy clubs...... Raccoon Blue Night Club: The dancers here are beautiful, and now they're deadly, too...... Be careful what you touch, it might be the last feel you cop. Cityview Apartments: Start up here, it's just down from the High School. A lot of people once lived here, and all of them rich. Doesn't look like their money is helping them now......Especially when they're being eaten by their neighbor.... Raccoon City is no longer a peaceful mid-western suberb. It's been transformed into your worst nightmare. Umbrella has insured that no one will be leaving, they've sealed off al the major roads leaving the city. How will you escape? If he can get back to Umbrella labs, then he could make another batch of the T-Virus vaccine, and possibly save other lives, before they become like the monsters inhabiting all of the city. He knows the danger, and he's willing to risk it all to save as many people as he can.
22. (I think he's hard up for some action....) Dunan smiled, and laughed. "You know, if you try hard enough, you might be able to wrap me around your little finger." "You're such a perv." "And?" "You're hopeless." "Yeah. Pretty much." Dawner groaned, and sighed. "So, we were going to your room?" "Yup. And if you don't want to play, then you don't have to." Dunan pulled Dawner along, the pace more relaxed, and Dunan hummed some. They came to his room, and Dunan opened the door. There was a small silver flask, and it smelled faintly of the blood inside. "A welcoming present, huh?" Dunan commented. He let go of Dawner's hand, and flopped back on the bed. "Wow.. It's soft and comfy..." Dawner produced another bottle of wine. "Yeah, the manor takes care of it's own." Dawner let himself the courtesy of sitting down on the bed. "Look in your closet." "Mn?" Dunan got up, and flung open the doors. Inside, was a random assortment of clothing. All of it looked to be made of tight leather, metal spikes, and boots designed to put eyes out. "Wow... They know my style." "There's no point in getting dressed...." "Is there a point in getting undressed?" Dunan flicked a button on his tight pants, and they sprung open, revealing..... "Commando? You go Commando?" Dawner eyed Dunan's man-bush. "Not usually, I wear underwear, but I was rather rushed in leaving my prior home." "Really?" Dunan took a step forward, and let his pants slide down to the floor. He smiled, and then he kicked his pants at Dawner. They flew at him, and hit his chest. Dawner never even looked at them. "If you keep staring, Dawner, your eyes will pop out." "What?" Dawner stared at Dunan's body, It was flawless. He was a perfect specimen of man. Dunan flexed his muscles, and Dawner's eyes really did almost pop out. "I sleep naked." "What? Come again?" "I sleep naked. Is something wrong?" "No... no..." Dawner blinked and looked down. Dunan came over, and lied down on his stomach. Dawner reached over and started diving him a massage. He spotted a tattoo on Dunan's left shoulder, it was a small vined rose, well fitting his personality. "Cute tattoo." "Well, thank you. About what you said earlier.... for how long?" "Yeah, I remember." Dawner continued to massage Dunan, taking deep drinks of wine. "Until the day you die, I will be near." Dawner's breath caught in his throat. "Why?" "Because... I can see things in you that other people can't. I can see a fire unlike anything else in this world. A passion and a heart far more giving and kind than I've seen in almost a century." Dunan reared up, facing Dawner. His hand moved up to Dawner's cheek, gently touching it, his touch cool as always, but with no meanace, no anger. Only a soft sensation of gentle love. "Dawner, with you, I feel safer than I've ever felt in a long time. I've been alone, unwilling to share anything with anyone. With you, I want to share everything." "But... We barely know one another." "I know as much as I need to to be sure, Dawner. Yes, I want to know more, But, I'm already..." Dunan choked. "I'm already falling head over heels for you." Dunan wasn't lying. He moved closer, and gave him a kiss, this time, his hand holding Dawner close. "I'll be with you untill you die, Dawner. Even when you're old and grey, I'll still take your hand." Dawner melted into Dunan's embrace. They kissed passionately, their inhibitions flung to the wind. Dawner began undoing his clothes, and soon they were on the floor and the furniture. They kissed, and Dunan said, "I'm gonna make you laugh." Dawner blinked. "What?" Dunan grasped Dawner's underwear and flung them on the light fixture. "Look... glowing manties." "Oh... oh hell no." Dawner began laughing. They started flinging their clothing everywhere, laughing as it landed on various furniture, being very comfortable with their naked bodies. That, and by this time they were drunk. Soon enough, there was no clothing within their reach, and they collapsed on the bed, laughing and giggling like idiots, butt naked and rasping for breath. "You really know how to make someone laugh.." Dawner commented, giggling lke a little school girl. "Yeah well, the booze helps." "I'm sure..." Dawner glanced down, and smiled. "So. We're naked." "Yep." "Any bright ideas?" "Nope." "Liar." "Yep." "You're hopeless..."
23. (i think it's time to really heat things up....) Dunan looked around, letting go Of Dawner's hand. He peered up at the sky, his eyes glittering with the shine of the infinite number of stars. "Mortals can't see the stars like I can. I can see so many more. Hundreds, maybe thousands." "One of the benefits of being a vampire?" "Of course. But, it's not all fun beauty and games, you know." "Yeah.. I know. You never show weakness.. at least no vampire ones. "That's just it. My weakness is protecting innocent people. But, that's what makes me different." Dunan looked over to a pavilion, where a piano sttod, sheilded from the elements. "Come on, I have something to show you." Dunan walked over to the piano, and flung off the old cloth. Underneath was a beautiful glossed black piano. Dunan ran his fingers along the surface, loving the feel. He could smell the laquer and varnish, the faint scent of the wood. "Perfection." Dunan commented. He sat down on the bench, and lifted the cover. Shining ivory met his eyes, and he smiled. "Almost as pretty as you Dawner." Dunan lifted his hands to the keys, and music began to play. The melody was haunting, and wound through the manor like ribbon, coming to the ears of all nearby. "Wow...." Dawner breathed. He'd never heard anything like it. It felt like eternity, the never ending ups and downs of joy and sorrow. the melody overtook the senses, filling all who heard with a hypnotic peace. Dawner's eyes unfocused as he was taken away by the music. "You're so talented..." "Heh, Thanks. This is nothing compared to what I can do..." "I see...." Dawner shook out of his reverie, and he smiled. "Talented.. why don't you perform in front of an audience?" "I don't want to get famous. I'd rather live in the shadows. I'm also good with the violin, the flute, the guitar, the drums, and the harp." "Oh... you'll have to play them for me." Dunan moved again, but then he looked away. His stomach roared. "Oops..." "Hungry?" Dawner snapped his fingers, and pulled off hi hat. He pulled a bottle of wine and a glass from it, then pulled another bottle of an amber colored liguid. "You can have your drink, I'll have mine." Dunan poured a wine glass full of the dark red liquid. He took a drink, his eyes faintly glowed. He licked his lips, and looked at Dawner, innocently sipping his wine. "You know, your blood tasted better." "I should hope so. That's pig." Dawner miffed at Dunan's comment. Dunan laughed. "Indignant, are we?" "Quite." Dunan took another drink, and poured another glass. "You know something? Your blood made me so.....excited. If just your blood does that to me, I wonder how the person will do." He took a drink, and scooted over. He had a goofy smile on his face. "Just remember, I'll bite if you say I can." Dawner looked away, his nose in the air. "Hmph!" there was a faint smile on his lips. "Please." Dunan turned Dawner's face and then kissed him, his hand trailing down to his thigh. Dawner melted, the farse dropped. Dunan swund his leg over Dawner, straddling his lap. His eyes glittered, he didn't want blood. "You know, I've been known to drink things other than blood..." Dunan's hand reached under Dawner's clothing, his cold hand trailing Dawner's bare skin, making him jump. "That's cold!" "Then warm me up." Dunan said, helping Dawner up. "Come on... let's go back to my room." "They assigned you one?" "They better...Although, I wouldn't mind sharing a room with you..." Dunan headed back to the manor, he was going to get his room. "Come on..." "Don't you sleep in a coffin or something?" "Don't listen to everything you've heard, that's a myth. I sleep in a bed just like everyone else. Hopefully, my bed will be big enough for the two of us."
24.
Dawner blushed and yet he didn?t know why, who are we kidding yes he did. ?And if he tries any funny business you blast his ass off that tower understood??.
oh hell no... i laughed my ass off at those two lines Dunan and Karyn played for awhile, before Dunan glanced up at the water tower. "Karyn I go met Dawner." "Okay!" She crouched down low, peering at Duan through her hands. "I shall be covert!" She tip toed around, causing Dunan to just stare at her blankly. "I are spy!" She cried. "Um... miss spy... I want to go up and talk to him alone." "OH!!!" She said, and fell over laughing. "YOU GONNA DO THE DIRTY!" Dunan just stared, before turning around and walking off. Karyn stayed behind. Dunan jumped up, and climbed the side of the house, before jumping onto the water tower. Dawner was waiting, he hadn't seen Dunan yet. Dunan's breath caught. He saw Dawner standing there, the breeze ruffling his hair. "Well," Dunan said, causing Dawner to jolt. " I hope you haven't been waiting long." "No... not really." Dunan was keeping his thoughts to himself, he knew Dawner couldn't feel a thing from him, other than kindness. "So...talk." "You were really strong....during the mission." "Yeah, vampires are strong. It's a part of our nature, our very being." Dunan smirked, a blot of contempt blurring hiss mind for but a moment. "Vampires are built to be the perfect killing machine." "Oh..." Dawner looked down at the field next to the manor. "I'm not afraid of you." "Come on, that's because you can't help it. My scent drives you wild, my eyes draw you in." Dunan turned to Dawner, and then clenched the railing of the water tower. "If I was serious, I could destroy you and everyone else here in a matter of minutes." Dunan griped the railing tightly, and there was a groan as the metal bent to acomadate the pressure. "But you're not like those... those.... things!" Dawner protested. He took a step closer to Dunan, and inwardly cringed. Dunan cocked his head. "You're not sure about wanting to come near me. You are afraid. That's good." "But not of you! I'm afraid.... you might not like me...." Dunan took a step back. Now it was his turn to be confused. "No one.... has ever said something... so....odd and sweet to me/ Dunan took the two long strides to Dawner. "Why would I not like you?" "Because... um.... uh....." Dawner was frustrated, stammering, and becoming more and more red by the second. Dunan laughed. "Why are you so nervous?" Dunan laughed some more, until Dawner looked away, off into the sunset." Are you.... wanting something with me? Like.... a relationship, maybe?" Dunan grew silent. "When I was human, those thoughts were commonplace in my mind. Even after I was changed, for the first fifty years, they were still there." "What changed?" "Time." Dunan sighed. "Time?" "Yes. Even when you are old and grey, I will still be as I am now. I will still be this way long after you are gone." Dunan looked into Dawner's eyes. "I once watched everyone I know grow old and die. For four hundred years, so it has been. I've lived long enough to have led many lives. I've had many lovers, people I've grown attached to, and watched them die. Seldom have I ever been able to deeply care for someone, simply because I know that they will die. Even for someone as old as me, time doesn't make things easier, when it comes to the death of loved ones." Dunan looked away, his eyes were beginning to water. A single drop of blood trailed down his cheek. "Even still... maybe.... we could????"Dawner started again. Dunan smiled. "Seldom have I opened up to people. I'm sorry to say it, but you're not the first, and you won't be the last." Dunan smiled,"But you're number five." Dunan started laughing, his laughter sad and haunting, sounding as fragile as glass. "For someone like me to fall in love again!" Soon enough, there was a tinkle like he was breaking. Dawner reached out, touching Dunan on the shoulder. "You want to. You can't hide that, even if I can't read you like others." Dunan stopped laughing, looking at Dawner with eyes like rubies. Yet, there was nothing sinister there, only the echo of a heart long since frozen over, a spark of something begging to be found again. Dawner moved quickly, before he lost his nerve. Dunan's breath caught once more, his eyes wide, until he reached up, to touch Dawner's face, feeling his smooth skin, his warmth. Dunan had felt so very cold for so long, he couldn't stop himself. Dawner felt like the heat of a roaring fire, warm and bright. To Dawner, Dunan felt as cold as death, his skin soft but unyielding. Despite having seen what Dunan was capable of, Dunan's touch belied none of that, his touch was as soft as his skin, and his kiss was every bit as breath-taking as he had bragged it was. Dunan let go of his guarded emotions, and Dawner felt only a desire to be wanted, a desire to know someone cared, just like him. Dunan broke the kiss, and smiled. "Told ya...I'm a good kisser..." "Let's get down from here.... We can talk more on the ground." "I've got no probs with that." Dunan grabbed Dawner and hoisted him up, holding him like groom held his bride, and leaped off the tower. "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Dawner screamed all the way down. Dunan landed with the grace of a cat, and thus smiled. Dawner was scrunched up, cowering into his chest. "Dawner... it's alright..." Dawner looked around, and Dunan sat him down on the ground. "DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN, YOU ASS HOLE!" "Heh... sorry..."
25. Dunan paused, thinking. Distant memories were coming back to haunt him, like a ghost that would never vanish. "Why?" he breathed. "Why do these thoughts return to plague me?" He closed his eyes, trying to push them away. "No! Please stop!" "Why me?" "Please stop hurting him!" "Make it stop!" A laughter, perverse and maniacal, bursting through the night as innocent people were killed right in front of his eyes... Dunan held his forehead, dizzy with the onslaught of his past. "No..... I don't want to remember this..." He fell to his knees, blood beginning to leak from his eyes, for tears of salt and water no longer flowed down his cheeks. "Yeah... not being human...Guess this is what I asked for..." All of the memories of his early life, all of the killing, all of the screams, the pain, the suffering, and yet more sorrow than any human could ever know battered Dunan's mind as he wrestled with his mind to shut it out. "Please, Dunan, accept my offer..." Vahn's eyes began to redden, as tears of blood began to pour down his cheeks. "You're far too sweet and giving to die this way... You're one of the most giving souls I've ever known, this is far too cruel. Let me give my dark gift to you." Through labored breath and heavy eyes, Dunan responded. "Death...is what.... gives life... its meaning...... I'm.... ready ....to die...." "Please Dunan! I'm begging you!" Dunan eyes opened slightly, he looked over at Vahn. "Why.....?" "Let me give countless more people the pleasure of knowing you... of giving their lives meaning when all hope is lost for them! You saved me..." Vahn grasped Dunan's pale hand, holding it to his forehead. Drops of red were staining the sheets. "You saved me from that fate, you saved me from feeling that way, from ending my existence." "You...really..... want me.... to live?" Dunan looked back torwards the ceiling. "Sonya... would she?" Dunan's eyes were blurring, and he saw his sister's face. "Make me....immortal...." he breathed. Vahn looked up in shock, before his face broke into a sad smile. "Alright...." "And this comes back now..." Dunan's mind was clearing, and he stood up, wiping his face. "Oh yeah... Karyn and I were supposed to go outside and play..." Karyn came hurtling from around a corner, and slammed into him, knocking him for a loop. "Ow...." He said, his mouth open wide in a semi-concious manner. "gaaaaaahhhh.." He let out a groan, and twitched. "Dunan!" Karyn said, picking him up, and he stood against her limply, still with a goofy expression on his face, in a daze. "You hit really hard......gah..." "I'm sorry!" "Okay... Dunan came out of his daze, and then smiled. "Ok... let's go out and play.."
