"Well now, looks like out fearless leader knows how to piss people off." Dunan commented, opening the door. Deand sighed. "It wasn't intentional." "I'm sure. I know you wanted to talk, so let's talk." "You knew Malachai, right? So did I." "Not surprising. Fate has a funny way of bringing people together. I'd learned that lesson by the time I was seventy." "I still can't get over how old you are.... You look barely older than any of the others." "You know vampires don't age in the way humans do. We grow more powerful, not wrinkled." "I know. I... was a vampire once." "I know. Despite you having become a human, the scent never really leaves. It's faint, but you still smell of snake venom." "Really?" "Yes. I wasn't sure, honestly, until now. But now that its just me and you, I'm positive." Dunan took a seat, and he poured himself a glass of red liquid. "I'd offer you some, but something tells me you'd pass." "You're right." Dean peered at Dunan, watching his movements. "I have a rather personal question for you." "Yes? Feel free to ask. I have no problems answering truthfully. Although, they say curiousity killed the cat." "And satisfaction brought it back. You aren't like other vampires, why is that?" "Vampires are just like humans, only with more supernatural prowess. Each has the choice of being good, or evil. Depends on the person. Vahn, the one who turned me, said I was far too precious a person to die so cruel a manner. "What happened that night?" Dunan sighed, and looked up at the ceiling. "It's been so long...I've grown accustomed to letting memories slip through my fingers like grains of sand. But I remember that clearly. I was lying in bed, thin, frail, and dying. My fever was at its highest, and I was shivering. My breathing had become labored, and he walked into the room." Dunan closed his eyes. "We talked. I grew closer and closer to death. Then, He revealed himself to me. He... made me what I am today. I don't care to get into details." "I know the feeling. I don't like to get into details either. Do you regret making that decision?" "Honestly? No. I've seen so much more that I ever would have If I had remained human. There is much beauty in this world, I've enjoyed seeing it, and whatever else might come. "Can I ask you something else?" "Sure." "Would you ever choose to become human once more?" Dunan thought for a moment."No. I like my existence. Granted, I have to drink blood, but still. I've been able to save lives. Life itself is so very precious. Even to save just one life, my existence is justified." Dunan stood up. "It's been good talking to you Dean, but I have to get dressed to meet up with Dawner sometime soon..." "Taken a fancy to him?" "Well... yeah, I have. He's cute, and a sweet guy. Reminds me of myself when I was human. Anyway, I'll see you later." and with that, Dunan walked away.

"Mn?" Dunan was walking past a door when the sounds of someone crying came to him. "Karyn?" The crying stopped. Dunaan knocked on the door, and a towel-clad Karyn answered. Her eyes were red and puffy. "Dunan? What is it?" she smiled, and if not for her eyes, then Dunan would have thought he had been imagining things. "What's wrong? Why are you crying?"not knowing what to say. "What-I-um...." She was taken aback, tears welling in her eyes again. Dunan dropped the bottle and glass he was holding, and wrapped his arms around her. "Shush now, It's alright...." Karyn sobbed, her tears falling against Dunan's bare skin, he still hadn't gotten dressed yet. Her knees went weak, and he patted her head. "Come on, tell me what's wrong." "My Mom was killed by my Dad....I was just remembering." "Ah..." "Was it my fault? He went into a rage... because I'm only a half breed." "No! No!" Dunan comforted her. "It's not your fault. You father was just a douchebag with an anger problem..." Dunan's exclamation caused Karyn to stop crying. and to giggle a little bit. "Come on, let me see that smile..." Karyn obliged him, and huggled him. "Thank you, Dunan." "I already told you you're alot like my little sister. Can I help but cheer you up?" Dunan smiled. "I have an idea! Get dressed and then we can go outside. We can.... um..." Dunan looked at her ears. "We can play frisbee! We can ask the cook to burrn a pancake." Karyn looked at him blankly. "I'm not a dog." Dunan ruffled her hair. "Yeah well, I can up with an idea. Think of it as big brother teasing you." Dunan smiled, exactly like an older brother would to his much younger sister. "I'm glad you're feeling better, kiddo." "Yeah, I am. Thanks. Okay, let me get dressed and we can go play. BUT WE AREN'T PLAYING FRISBEE!"

Humans are fickle creatures, are they not? They have a habit of destroying what they fear, I'm willing to think it's a part of human nature. Homosexuality is seen with so much adversity, it's hard to keep the facts straight. No one knows why it exists, but it's a common occurence, even outside the human race. It occurs in animals too. Are animals ever prosecuted for it? No. Humans focus only on their fellow man. Why do you think humans are solely responsible for the extinction of so many species of animal? Granted, I can't think of any off the top of my head, but still. If I do some research, I'll find plenty. Humans discriminate so readily, due to their own insecurities. I truely believe that whatever 'God' or whatever is up there would never punish his child for finding what made it happy. Isn't that what a father would want? For his child to be happy? But, there are so many people in this world who are not like that. People who would disown their child for being gay. To me, these people are not even worthy of being parents. Life is the greatest gift anyone could ever know. Why... why would a parent do that to their own child? If a parent would do that, then they don't deserve that child, they never deserved to be a parent, if they can't love their child unconditionally, then... Well, they are the lowest form of garbage on this world. And it's not a choice. It's something that just is. It doesn't matter if they do the opposite gender, they know what he truth is. They're afraid of losing people who are important to them. Yeah it's hard, I'm one of the lucky few who had it easy. Maybe that's why I can so readily say these things, But I feel them to be the truth. I honestly feel that this is the greatest truth there is. Know why? Because there is no hate or anger in what I feel. At least about the subject. I'm furious with the people who would have nothing to do with someone who comes out of the closet, but that's because that person is an ass. I can't stand those people. They make me sick, and because of them, there are people who will live their entire lives and wonder what could have been, hating themselves. It is these people that are the victims of that way of thinking. The emotional issues that are caused...I know what they face. I want to cry when I think of them. I wish the victims would get ballsy enough to tell their families, and get it over with. The people that will support them, they are the real family. Am I so judgmental? People live what they are taught. This is a fact. But, there comes a time to choose what makes you happy over what you've always been taught. Honestly, these are the people who are real heroes. Those who face themselves, and admit what the truth about themselves is. But, unfortunately, most lie to themselves even then. Truely, it is for them i mourn. They are the lost ones. But, I suppose, It is my duty to save people. I see goodness where others do not, and light the way for them to follow. I'm no saint. I freely admit it. But, I think I lead the path of acceptance that humanity as a whole needs to accept. But, humans are humans, I fear my voice shall be drowned out, and never heard. These also are merely opinions, though i have proof to back me up.

Dunan came to, amidst bright lights. "Ow.." He said, his eyes burning. He sat up, and looked around. He was in the mansion, he could smell all of the familiar scents. e turned, and put his feet on the floor. He was alone. He could feel his hunger stirring, and he shook himself. "Ugh...Man, I'm starving!" He muttered. He sat up, but couldn't get up enough, corder were attached to his shirtless abdomen. Dunan looked at the primitive machinery, they looked foreign to him. "Science, huh?" Dunan flexed, and yanked the cords out of their respective ports. "I'm no one's experiment!" "Really? A vampire in our midst, that won't hurt us? Who's on our side? Can you blame them for taking the chance to examine you?" Dunan smirked. "Well, when you put it that way, no, I can't." Dunan stood up, and walked over to Dean. "So. You want to talk to me?" Dean smelled fresh and clean, unlike himself. He reeked of sweat and blood. His pale skin doing a dayglow effect. He looked around, and saw the remains od his coat and shirt in a heap on the floor. Dean sighed. "So, you're a vampire, huh? I don't think we ever had a formal talk. What with the mission, and our first encounter." "Eh, I have no ill will against you for it." Dunan yawned. "But, If you want to talk, let's do it later, okay? Right now, I'm starving and I need a shower." Dean crossed his arms. "We can cater to your unique hunger, the mansion attendants went into the nearby town to the slaughterhouse to get some... food for you." "Good. Are they back? I need some food." Dean nodded and Dunan bounded up the stairs, first taking a shower, then heading for the kitchen. On entering, he was handed a wine bottle and a wine glass. Judging from the scent, cow blood filled the bottle. He smiled, and walked into the dining room. Karyn was enjoying a large plate of pancakes with Draco, Dunan smiled seeing the two of them shove giant mouthfuls in. "Now, that's attractive...." Dunan commented, sitting beside Karyn. Maple syrup was dribbling down her chin. "Mmph shumb?" Karyn asked, her mouth full. "Ah, no." Dunan poured himself a glass, and took a drink, still dressed only in his pants. His skin bore no marks, and his eyes shifted to a reddish hue. "Mn.. yummy." Dawner came into the room, and started shoving pancakes down his throat. "Looks like everyone's enjoying pancakes..." Dunan smirked at the lot of them. "Want some?" Dawner asked. Dunan held up his hand, passing. "Karyn already asked me." Dawner smiled, and scooted closer to Dunan. "Yes? Can I help you?" Dunan peered at Dawner, his eyes narrowed. "You... are really strong...." "Yeah, I get that a lot." Dunan took another drink, and breathed in the scent of Dawner. He smirked and turned. In a rather obvious tone he said, "You know, you smell pretty good right now. And you already know I bite." Dunan took another drink, and started pouring another glass. "Do you want to go up to the water tower tonight? Alone?" Dawner asked, his face a little flushed. "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Karyn sounded off. Dunan cocked his head over in her direction, and smiled. He leaned over to Dawner and smiled. "You know, you are pretty cute...." Dunan leaned over closer, and knew Dawner was inhaling his scent. Dunan smiled, warm and inviting. "I guess I wouldn't mind." Dunan sat his glass down, and placed his hand on Dawner's cheek. "Trust me... I'll only bite if you say I can. Otherwise.. My kiss has been known to leave quite a few mortals breathless." Dunan stood up, grasped his glass and bottle. "See ya later...I think I'd like to get to know you better," he said, and walked out of the room. "I'll see you later tonight, Dawner. I'll come find you. I'l just use my nose."

Dunan kicked, sending Malachai reeling. Dunan was thrashing at Malachai, his strength amplified by the injury to Karyn, Dunan reached up and poked Malachai's eye out, causing him to scream. Dunan moved over to Karyn, and held her up. Blood was trailing down her face, and her eyes were glazed. "Hey,,, wakey wakey..." Dunan smiled at her, and she feebily smiled back. "Dunan? You were such a cute puppy." "Yeah yeah..." Dunan bit his wrist, and placed it near her wound, closing it. His blood oozed into her, revitalizing her, making her come to her senses. "Good, you're back with us." "I feel stronger.." "Yeah... yeah...Vampire blood has that quality, but it wasn't enough to make you into someone like me." "Oh..." "Now then... let's be a little more careful, alright? I keep using blood magic, I'm going to have to feed again before long..."

i do so hope i'm not too late. Intro: "Mmmm.. yeah..." A man groped tighly on Inu's ass, but he didn't respond. He was wearing a school uniform, looking innocent with a lunch box in his hand. "I'm gonna do things to you no one else ever will" The man was an infamous mafia crime boss, and a pedophile. This man was Gregory Mannings, and the person who was responsible for the killing of his family. They were accompanied by Manning's guards, but they would be no challenge, once he got down to buisness. They were in a hotel, going up to the penthouse suite. This was the boss's fave place to do his own buisness. "You like that? huh?" He groped Inu's ass again, and Inu pressed tightly against him, but made no sounds. They walked into the suite, and Inu looked around. It was impressive, albeit dirty money paid for it. Inu's earring glittered in the light. "I like the room." The boss smiled, thinking this was one bootycall he would enjoy. Inu stood near the boss, as he sat at a desk, and fondled his body as he dealt with mafia related issues on the phone. Soon he was finished, and ordered his guards to leave the two of them alone. "Why don't you come give me a lap dance..." The man sat on the bed, and Inu obeyed. He unlatched the lunch box, and sat it on the bed, before beginning to undress himself, sexually stimulating the man. He began to undress the man as well, then straddled him. He proceeded to make the man desire him even more, then took him by the tie over to the bed. He pushed back, and the drew the lunch box to him. "Tell me... do I look familiar?" "Huh?" "Do my lips remind you of someone? Do my eyes? Do I look like someone you killed?" Inu grasped the lunch box, flipping it open, and pulling out a blade. He stabbed the man, over and over again, taking his revenge. "I hope you enjoy hell." Inu removed a gun from the lunch box now, and left the room, covered in blood. He walked to the door, not caring at all the guards saw him. He looked only to the door, and shot at the men, not even grimancing from the bright flashes. His job was done. Later, he met his client in an alley, and received a large briefcase full of money. He left, taking care not to be seen as he opened his car door, and got inside. "Inu? Did you get the job done?" asked his partner. She was a young child, her innocence already sullied. She was much like him, but she was far more pure that he would ever be. "Yeah. Wanna go out for a bite to eat tonight? I'm thinking mexican." "Sure! Sounds great!" she said, excited for the meal they were going to have. Name: Inu-Yasha Fandom Age: Unknown, appears to be a teenager Appearence: Weighing in at 134 lbs, he stands at 5'4". He's often seen wearing a school uniform, from Otakusin Academy. His uniform is jet black, with red trim, made in the tradition of Japanese school uniforms. His hair is long, down to the middle of his back, and is a stark white. His eyes are a ruby red, due to his being an albino. He has a single earring, on his right ear, fashioned to look like a cross. Personality: A sweet guy, but one of the most cut-throat individuals on the street. He's willing offer a helping hand to those who need it, and yet by the same token, to him, any life can be bought for a price. He's merciful, to those whom he kills, their deaths are swift, unless they've pissed him off. Then, hell will be a welcome respite when he's finished with them. He has no problems dressing up like a woman to get what he wants. Family: None known, but is often seen with a small Asian child during the daylight hours. Witnesses have heard him call her 'Arianna' Occupation: Assassin, whore, drug runner, he'll do anything for a price.

Dunan lied there, annoyed as all hell. "I do have something to prove..." He mumbled. Dawner responded. "And why would you have to prove something? Is it not enough that we let you come with us?" "No." Dunan's wound had closed, and he sat up. He rushed a breath, it made a ratting sound as he stood up. "What is it you have to prove? You're strong, we know that." "That I'm not one of those....monsters." Dunan's face grimanced in sorrow. "I honestly don't think any of you believe that quite yet." Dunan crouched, ready to attack. "I am a monster. I have been for almost four centuries. However, I'm still not like these things we're fighting. My darkness is used by the light. Fighting fire with fire, as they say." Dunan drew a deep breath, and turned to Dawner. "Dawner, I have a favor to ask..." Dunan motioned for Dawner to come to him, and Dunan grasped his hand. "My strength is drained, even with your healing powers......" Dunan looked down. "I....I... Want to.... ask....." "If you can drink my blood?" Dawner took a step closer. "Will that make you strong again? Will you be able to fight?" "At full strength... despite the vampire blood I've drank today.... The mystic powers it holds were used to sustain me, not make me stronger." "You're asking? Permission?" Dawner was taken aback, he had never been drank from, let alone asked to be drank from. Dawner pulled his collar down. "Don't take to much.... Will it hurt? "My... my meals, for lack of a better term, I choose what they feel." Dunan stepped up to Dawner, and kissed his neck. Using his scent, he enveloped Dawner, Dawner becoming placid. Dunan bit, quickly and painlessly. Soon enough, Dawner felt as if every fiber of his being was being massaged. Dunan felt the warmth of human blood come surging into his mouth, the hot heat instantly causing him to sprout an erection. The magic within his blood felt like it was supercharging him. Dunan grank only a few mouthfuls, before lightly letting go, Dawner's eyes were glassy from the experience. "Hey, sugar, wakey wakey!" Dunan lightly tapped on Dawner's face, making him come to from his reverie. "Come on... the fight's waiting..." Dunan jumped up and away, laughing. However, turning in midair, he focus on the sexual energies surging through him. He landed beside Dean. "Mmmmmmmn," Dunan rocked on his heels, he was completely taken by the bloodlust. His breathing was heavy, and he looked at Dean. He leaned over, and ran his hand across his cheek. "Can I play with him? I know I can wear him down....Oh..... oh the power of Dawner's blood..." He closed his eyes, and it was almost like he had an orgasm. "The power...." "Do as you see fit.... weirdo." "Oh thank you...Malachai... oh come on..." Dunan jumped up, and grabbed a rope hanging of of one of the pilliars. He yanked it from the ruined cart it was attached to, and came running at Malachai. Malachai swung his sword at Dunan, but Dunan vanished. "Huh? where'd he go?" Dunan jumped down, the tips of his toes touching the blade. "Oh come on... you can do better than that, can't you?" Dunan laughed as Malachai tried to grab him, using the awkward balance of Malachai to kick him into a wall. Dunan trailed the rope behind him, and swished it around, letting his energies over take it, and possess it. Soon, it was like an extention of himself, swishing and snapping like a whip. "Work with me,baby! Work with me!" Dunan exclamed, and the rope slapped around Malachai's wrist. Dunan launched himself in the air, and landed on Malachai's back, using his momentum to start strangling him with the rope. Indeed, Dunan was litterally gettng off on the movement, every motion was sexually stimulating, thanks to the blood of Dawner. Perhaps it was the magic within it that was making him feel this way. "Oh god yeah...." Dunan smiled, but Malachai managed to snap the rope, causing Dunan to fall to the ground. He used his position to land on his hands, and then pivoted to send Malachai sailing. "Mmmm... I like my vampire tenderized..." The supercharge was wearing off as Dunan stepped to Malachai, but he took a step back, when Malachai stood up. There was only a few scratches on him... "Ho'shit......"

Dunan and Karyn watched, time ticking by. Time was not their ally at the moment, all of Dunan's power had faded in this new form, he wouldn't be much use. He looked around, and spotted a vampire sneaking up on Karyn. Dunan leaped away from Karyn, lunging at the vampre, floating a few inches above the ground, so she wouldn't be able to hear him. He bit into the guy's throat, frothing at the mouth. "Some one get this rabid mutt off me!" The Vampire batted at Dunan, before ripping him off and throwing him into the air. The vampire lashed out, sending Dunan hurtling into a wall. He let out a yelp, before dropping to the ground. "Dunan!" Karyn shrieked. Dunan lied motionless on the ground, his fur ruffling in the breeze, his eyes closed. "You're next, little girl." The vampire encroached on Karyn, seizing her and bending her to his will. Dunan stirred, his body rippling as he returned to his normal self. He began to gasp and grunt, his wolfish features beginning to fade away, his muzzle shrinking, his fur disappearing. Seeing that Karyn was in danger, he launched himself, using the wall as leverage. Dunan came flying into the fray again, and grasped the vampire. "GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER!" Dunan began to rend the vampire limb from limb, Dunan tossing the chunks of flesh aside and grasping more. His eyes seethed with the darkness he knew himself to possess, he flew into a rage, he cannot be stopped. All the while, he steadily growing more and more powerful as The werewolf faded from his system. The vampire screamed in agony as he was being torn apart, causing everyone, good and bad, to pause in their own fights. Even Malachai, high and mighty as he was, looked on in horror. Dunan still tore away at the poor vampire, even after his dying screams faded. Soon enough, Dunan turned, his face covered in blood, the vampire's heart danging from his clawed hand. Dunan Tossed it over his shoulder, and smiled. Malachai looked as if he was staring into his own open grave. Dunan began to take slow deliberate steps, speaking, his voice a loud growl, his movements like some twisted god of death. "You killed Vahn. You have slaughtered an entire village for nothing more than your own merriment. You've crossed my path once more. A mistake that has cost you your life." Malachai took a step back, before masking his own fear. "Look boys and girls... it's little Dunan, my how he's grown." Dunan cocked his head, his eyes red as blood, all traces of the sweetheart gone. "Dunan..?" Dawner made a step for him, but Dunan only stared at Malachai. His ears could hear nothing but the racing heart of the one before him. "Last time we saw you, you were lapping Vahn's blood off the floor like a lowly dog." "And you see how strong it has made me. Now, you die." Dunan ducked forward, moving far too quickly for human eyes to see. He jumped into the air in front of Malachai, using his momentum to kick him in the chest. Malachai reels from the blow, And Dunan used his backward momentum now to flip onto his hands, bringing his legs down into a crouch. "Let's play....." Dunan cackled. OOC: okay, Dunan's gone crazy.....Can I kill Malachai? Can I can I can I? Pretty pretty please?*pouts*

Dunan stepped forward, and motioned to Dean. "This won't be any real challenge, the hardest part about this fight is dealing with their stench." Dunan peeped around, and came face to face with a woman who was very beautiful, despite her ghastly appearance of being covered in blood. "So I see you enjoy torture..." Dunan commented. "Yes...and I'll love torturing you too..." She withdrew a blade from her riped and torn dress, and Dunan only smiled. "Aw, baby.... Only four inches?" The woman lashed at him, shrieking, "You'll feel me!" Dunan side stepped her, and grasped her hair, smiling widely as he bent her back, exposing her throat. "Foolish child. You beleive you can kill me? Only those who are consumed by stupidity charge to their deaths." Dunan opened wide, and tore into her neck, ripping chunks and blood flying everywhere. Dunan dropped her, and she crumpled to the ground, holding her hand to Malachai. "h-help..... me..." "There is no help for you." Dunan twisted her head off, and threw it at Malachai. "You're next..." Dunan turned to see a young man, his teeth bared. "Aww... look, he's mad." Dunan taunted, his face dripping the woman's blood. "Come get some." The vampire charged, and Dunan was just barely able to dodge. The man turned, and charged again, this time ripping Dunan's arm open. "So you're faster than average. Interesting." "I'm gonna rip your throat out..." "Many people have said that to me. You see that I'm very much alive." "Not for much longer." Dunan watched as the man charged again, and this time Dunan moved just quick enough to avoid having his heart removed. "You die now.." Dunan coughed up blood, thick and black. "You will have no such pleasure as dispersing me, you ass!" Dunan reached up and grasped the man's arm, and yanked. Hard. Really hard. With a sickening POP the man's arm severed, and Dunan staggered back, blood pouring from a hole in his chest. He fell to one knee, and smiled. "You're more of a challenge than I thought..."

To fly on one?s own wings is a dream we all have. Once upon a time, I believed I was put here on this world to bring smiles to people?s faces. Many years have passed since then, and now I am torn between what I once thought, and my present beliefs. Am I here to hurt others? To do so eternally even without meaning to? Am I destined to forever throw knives into the hearts of the ones I care for? Eternity is not something I?ve really thought about. I know all that is born dies. That is the unalterable truth. Life ends, but the pain and sorrows of the past are something that can?t be erased with the coming of death. I know this, better than most realize, due to the fact that I pretend to be shallow and upbeat most of the time. Even when I'm cying, the world only sees a smile. It?s not hard to fake one. And then, there is the matter of the heart. It?s fragile, illogical, and yet, is the biggest part of what makes us human. For me, to show you want to care about me, is that you cause me to fall for you. And then, when it?s all over, you hate yourself, and your heart begins to chill, and then to freeze. But a frozen heart no longer has the ability to fly on its own angelic wings. Ironic, isn?t it? It?s crazy, irrelevant, and yet a part of humanity. But perhaps that is what makes us human. The ability to love, and to feel heartache, is that really so unique? Human, to be human, to FEEL human, what does that mean, really? In essence, to be able to ask one?s self those questions is the answer. But seldom is that a satisfying answer to anyone. Kind of depressing, to know that. Humans are ridiculous, that is the never-ending, unbending unaltered truth. And It?s so bleak, people often refuse to even contemplate such things. But still, even I don?t want to accept this. It?s almost painful. By by knowing this to bethe truth, to understand it, isn't that accepting it? And yet, even though this is the truth, humans are not without their merit. The humans species is a dying race, loaded ever more with degenerates and idiots. However, humans are capable of showing such compassion, and generosity. Human kind is not yet without hope. To fly on your wings, is to be free. Untamable, wild, and passionate. That was how I saw myself. But, I still long to feel someone next to me, the warmth of that person letting me know that someone is there for me. I think most people feel this way. And I can?t admit it to anyone. Does that make me foolish? Does that make anyone foolish? No, I don't beleive so. I often wonder if it because of this that I can't seem to fly on my own wings, that I need someone to help me through it....to help me fly on my own angelic wings....

Dunan's team had receiced the telepathic message to meet up in the square, so he dusted himself off and the three of them made their way to the others. "Dean! Dawner!" Dunan exclaimed, and hopped over a bloody "Welcome to..." sign. IT had been broken, and the remainder was covered in coagulated blood. "It's nice to see the two of you are unscathed." "And you're covered in soot." "Yeah well, when you're the cause of several explosions... you'll have that." Dunan peered at Dawner, and bent forward, and smiled, his face level with Dawner's. "Nice to see ya again, honey." Dunan licked Dawner's cheek, just to make him squeal. "Oh come on! It was a JOKE!" Dunan laughed, pointing at Dawner hiding behind Dean. "NOT FUNNY!" Dunan just laughed some more, and between hurried breaths, he said, "I thought it was.." "Dunan." Dean was all buisness. "You know where Malachai is?" "Of course. He's in the clock tower. Not exactly a smart move." Dawner cocked his head, peering out from behind Dean. "Why?" "It's predictable. I would have taken the school as my base, and kept the kids alive, to make sure their scent was still wafting around." Dunan sniffed the breeze blowing, it was coming downwind frm the school. "Hmph. Looks like school's going to be out for summer and then some..." Dunan could smell everything he needed to know. "Looks like the kids were the last to be killed...Pity. A fool's move. He has no bargaining chips, but he's hoping we're stupid. Apparently, he didn't count on so many factors in this fight, like me. By now, he's spotted me from his roost, but his plans remain unchanged. He still thinks he's as powerful over me as I am to humans. Too bad for him. It is a miscalculation he will pay dearly for." Dunan grit his teeth, his eyes flaring red, his jovial mannerism changing. "And he has no comprehension of the power of vengeance. He will pay for the killing of my maker... and of the slaughter of all of these people..." Dunan turned to look at the devastated village. "I despise vampires like Malachai...." Dunan turned to look at Dean. "I will enjoy his dying screams as I feast on his throat. Would that be so wrong?" Dunan smiled wide, his tongue sliding like a snake to and from, his teeth ringing it like spikes. Shaking himself back to his more human form, Dunan looked to the clock tower. He was just itching to run and over take it. "So, Fearless Leader, what's the plan?" Dunan took another step. "Vampire blood, at least to me, is kind of like a rare treat, like fresh cool watermelon on a warm summer's night... Please don't deprive me of such a treat." Dunan smiled at the thought of making Malachai beg for mercy he didn't deserve, of making him feel the same as all his victims had. "I will make him feel like hell is a welcome respite after I'm done with him."

Dunan seized Draco and Karyn, And leaped for the doors, barely making it out, before several more chained explosions brought the building down. "Well then..." Dunan looked at the tangled expansion of broken wood and metal before him. "I hope they have bomb insurance..." Dunan looked around, there were familiars encroaching on them. Off in the distance, Dunan heard a clock tower chiming the hour. "The city clock tower..." he muttered, and peered at the tower. It was built high, from the top, the entire town could be easily seen. "Hey, you two, I think I've just discovered where the big bad boss man is..." He pointed to the tower, and his eyes scaned the face of the building, his pupils expanding and shrinking as his vision became binocular. Focusing on the clock faces, he saw what he was loking for, a man with a tattoo on his face. "Found you.." Turning to his team members, he jerked his thumb at the clocktower over his shoulder. "That's where Malachai is hiding. He's taken the highest vantage point to direct any assault against us." He smiles, and bowed his head, shrugging. "Predictable. It's warfare 101. Take the highest ground. So, what do we do? We bring the fight to him." Dunan jumped up, and into the smoking debris of Town hall, and several grinding noises could be heard as he shifted the rubble around, before he appeared with a plaque, with a map of the city bound in it. "I think this might be useful."
-
"Run? Why would we do that? I mean, come on, seriously?" Dunan said aloud after hearing the psychic message. Dunan shrugged. "Ah well. First things first." Dunan and his team finished off the vampires, and then set out once more. "Draco? You realize that Malachai is the vampire that killed my maker? He's the ringleader here. But, something's not right. Why hasn't he shown himself? Is he letting his nest finish us off?" Dunan peered into rooms, searching in what he knew was a hopeless endeavor. There were no survivors. He already knew that. He grit his teeth thinking about it. "Hey, Karyn? Tell me, can you sense any life here? This place... seems like a trap." "Yeah, I feel it too." "Good, I was hoping it wasn't just my imagination." Dunan stopped, listening to a sound. "That's..... a fuse! We have to get out of here!" Dunan ran down the hall, his acompanyment close behind. Dunan darted behind a corner, and ducked down. He grabbed Karyn, and used his body like a shield for her, just as a blast rocked the building. Dust came roaring at them, thick and choking. Dunan looked at Karyn, and smiled. "You alright, Karyn?" He asked when the smoke and dust had partially cleared. "Yes, I'm fine." "Good." Dunan didn't know why he had instinctively grabbed her like that, but a distant memory came to him, of the family he no longer had. The family that had died centuries ago. "I had a younger sister once, she died not long before I was changed... Her name was Sonya. She had died of the same disease I almost did." Dunan sat up, and offered his hand to help Karyn up. "She was alot like you, always bubbling, always a sweetheart. Forgive me my weakness to protect you." Dunan helped Karyn up. The building began to echo with a gut wrenching groan, the floors and walls vibrating. "Damn..." Dunan could feel the building shifting. He moved back to the gaping hole, several floors of the building were damaged, central supports and girders gone or fractured. "The building's superstructure is damaged. Looks like Town Hall isn't going to be standing much longer. One more blast, And we'll be buried under it. And this entire building is rigged. I don't think we're going to be finding anything else here other than decomposing bodies. My suggestion, Let's get the hell out of here."

"Dawner." Dunan held up the ankh to his mouth. "Let Dean know there's a powerful vampire somewhere in the town. His name is Malachai. He's one of the most dangerous creatures on this planet, Dean should have heard of him, Malachai is in every hunter's bingo book. If we find Malachai, what does he want us to do?" Dunan bent backward, avoiding a vampire's attack, then used his motion to pivot on one leg to bring the vampire smashing to the ground with his other. To onlookers, it looked like a morbid dance of death, beautiful in inspite of the blood being strewn everywhere. "Let us waltz." Dunan said to the downed vampire. He picked up the vampire, and begin to smash him into various things. "My my, you just seem to have two left feet..." Dunan smiled, and snapped the vampires neck. "Oh dear... I think I broke him..." Dean finished the job on the vampire, and looked up to see several vampires coming around a corner, causing Duna to lose interest in his 'dance' partner. "Oh man.. they just keep coming....
-
He turned, his smile wide and toothy. All in all, not a reassuring sight. "I have no intention of showing mercy, I'm merely asking God in heaven to forgive his foolish children." Dunan walked down the hall, his footsteps deliberate, and echoing. He knew the other vampires knew they were there, like it mattered. Life an death, a waltz that never ended. Dunan stopped, there was someone at the end of the hall. "So, little boy. You've come again into our web." Dunan merely cocked his head. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Do me a favor. Run away from me. You'll live a lot longer. Where's Malachai?" "He's got better things to do than deal with you. I'm here, so let's play." Dunan wa ready for the man to attack, he sidesteped, and stuck his foot out. The man face planted into the carpet, and Dunan grasped his ankle, and violently twisted it. There were several sickining CRACK noises, and then he slammed the man around, before grasping the back of his head. "You know, I'm much more powerful now. More powerful that you ever will be. I hope you liked killing, now you're going to die." Dunan licked the man's neck, his perspiration salty. "Mercy... please..." "Sorry, fresh out of mercy." With that, Dunan whipped around, and decapitated him. "Damn it..... I never did like gushers.... They stain my clothes..."
-
"You know Karyn, you really should get a grip on that whole brain-mouth thing." Dunan said, smiling. "PBBBBBBBBT!" she said, blowing a rasberry at him. "Meanie!" Dunan side stepped around the building, his face a mask of concentration. He knew very well that they were waltzing right into a trap, he couldn't wait for anyone to contact him. "Alright, I'm setting off the trap. Any way this goes, they're about to know they have company." He moved up to the door, and used his sense of hearing to establish where the boms were. "How do you like your vampire..." Dunan mumbled. "Original recipe or extra crispy?" He hiked his leg, and positioned himself to kick. This wasn't going to tickle. He was going to get burned regardless, even though he could move quickly enough to avoid becoming a piece of flame-broiled vampire. "This... is going to suck." Lashing out with his foot, the door popped off it's hinges, and there was a tiny 'click' before a resounding BOOM! He leaned back, allowing the blast to hit him, managing to avoid most of the force from it. Dunan is slammed against a neiboring wall, and for a moment, he sees stars. "Damn..." He removes himself from the wall, realizing he's dislocated his shoulder. Slightly singed and his face slashed by debris, he darts around to the other side of the building. The other two have already smashed a window, and he jumped inside the gaping hole. "Nice going." Karyn smirked. "I thought you were fast enough not to get hurt?" "I was fast enough not to get killed, wasn't I?" Dunan retorted, the cut on his face closing up. "I need some help, here. I dislocated my shoulder when I hit a wall. Help me pop it back in." Clutching his shoulder, he motioned for Draco come closer to him. Draco seized Dunan's arm, and there was a resounding POP as it was yanked back into place. Dunan grunted, but didn't yelp from the short spasm of pain. He flexed his arm, feeling the tingle s the muscles repaired the little damage they had incured. "Ah. That's better. Thank you, Draco." "You're welcome." Dunan moved to the opposite wall, near the door. There were rushing footsteps moving to the other side of the building. "There's four of them." "Only that many?" Karyn asked. "Yes, but I know at least one of them. He's powerful, you two can't take him." His eyes moved to his companions. "Not that I'm doubting you two are strong, mind you." Dunan waited until the footsteps faded, before turning the knob on the door. He opened it, withdrawing his knife from his boot, then jumping out into the hall. "Coast is clear. Come on, let's go." Dunan raced down the hall, untill he spotted a sign on one of the doors, labeled 'Marice Buchanon, Mayor' "Maybe we can get some answers..." Opening the door, he ventured inside, only to cringe at the sight of someone sitting behind the mayor's desk, his eyes vacant and clouded. His throat had been slashed, but there was almost no blood. "Poor man... May you be at peace." Dunan reached across the desk, and closed the sunken eyes of the decaying figure. He had been dead for awhile. He turned around, to find his two comrades behind standing at the door. "This is what these monsters do to humans, and once tried to do to me. This poor man was just another meal for them, and as you can tell, they like to play with their food." Dunan's eyes began to glow faintly, the hue the same color as human blood. His fury was beginning to show, and he placed his knife back within his boot. "I'm beginning to grow hungry." He said, a cruel smile playing on his lips. "I think that, in the circumstances, it will be quite alright to kill and feast? After all, maybe these bastards need to feel what their victims did. It's their turn to be hunted." He walked back out of the room, before cocking his head in the direction of their enemy. "You two might see a side of me not many live to tell about." He smiled, his teeth eerily shiny in the gloom, his eyes visibly glowing a deep crimson. "May God have mercy on their souls."

My god, everyone here is nuts! Dunan thought to himself. Looking around the small town, and smiled. "Don't worry about me, Dean. I'm more than capable of handling a few lower vampires. I can smell them from here." Dunan looked ver his shoulder, and noted Dawner eyeballing him. So, he's an empath huh? Dunan had never met one before. Dunan knew that this one couldn't read him all the time, Dunan was easily able to shut him out. But, Dunan liked him already, Dawner was a funny person. Then, there was Karyn, Seemingly a little girl, and exteremely hyper. Apparently, she was the craziest out of the bunch. But that was ok, he liked crazy people. He was here with all of them, right? He had to be a little crazy himself. Next person: Draco. He couldn't pass for human if he tried. But, he seemed like a well natured person, although Dunan was barely able to resist reaching out and touching Draco's ears. That.... might end badly. The others, he hadn't gotten quite a feel for. Dean was obviously the leader, and had a thing against most vampires. He couldn't blame Dean for their earlier tussel. "So....Dean. Fearless Leader. Numero Uno. I can smell your fear. And It smells kind of like pineapples." Dunan smiled, hoping his joke would relax Dean some. A leader who is scared shitless won't be much good to anyone. Dunan really could smell Dean's fear, apparently, whatever they were going to have to face, it was bad, really bad, at least in his eyes. Dunan was completely unafraid, These vampires... their scent was everywhere. Curling his lip, he set out. "Come on boys and girls, or I'll be having all the fun for myself." And with that, he about faced and started down an alley. Town Hall was a pretty building, the history it must have had was evident in the structure. But, It wasn't all that inviting, blood stains on the white alabaster walls proved to be a better deturrent. Leaping up to the second story, he peered into a window. Nothing. Whatever was going on inside, was being kept out of view. He dropped down, and sniffed the air. Furrowing his brow, he motioned for his companions over. "This is a sinch. Nothing to worry about here." He moved to the front doors, and knelt down. He sniffed, and the scent of gunpowder came to him. But, there was something else, something... familiar. He knew it was a vampire, but he couldn't quite place it. Vampire scents varied, but they were all reminicent of snake venom. It wasn't unpleasant, rather intoxicating, Dunan had used it many times, to coherse both human and vampire alike. However, this scent was nauseating, and smelled bitter. Judging from the scent, this particular vampire was strong, but Dunan was stronger still. Drinking the blood of other vampires had a pleasant side effect; for Dunan's age, he was much, much more powerful than he would have been otherwise. He looked to Draco and Karyn. "You two keep behind me. I have no idea what you two are capable of doing, and I'm not saying you two are weak either. But, I know I can survive an attack that might kill either one of you two. I would rather me get wounded than you." He picked up a rock, and in a motion far too quick to catch by human eyes, he launched it through a window, and ducked out of sight, dragging his comrades with him. He listened, and heard something stirring inside. Footsteps. Peering from around a corner, he saw a man. Dunan's eyes widened, he realised who he smelled. His face contorted in anger, he knew who the man was. It was a familiar, one belonging to the same vampire who killed Dunan's maker. But, Dunan was much more powerful now, centuries had passed since he had last seen the two that killed Vahn. "Bastards." Dunan remeoved the ankh from his clothing. "We got problems, boys and girls. The Town Hall is rigged with explosives. And there's a powerful familiar here, he serves the vampire that killed my maker. I know I can take him, but I need to know what to do. I can't protect my team if I'm fighting this guy."
-
A woman brought a tray of foodstuffs into the room, all the makings of a breakfast fit for a king. Or rather, a bunch of adolescents. "Mmmmmnnnn, yummy." Dunan grabbed a breakfast sandwich and shoved half of it in his mouth. Realizing everyone was staring at him, he swallowed. "What? Can't a guy eat with out all the stares? Jesus Christ, people." Dunan hastily finished off the sandwich, before grabbing a plate and some pancakes. He smothered them in syrup, and began eating ravenously, like he hadn't eaten anything in days. "We've never seen a vampire eat actual food..." "Well, now you have. Wow, you guys have a lot to learn about vampires, don't you? Good thing I'm here.." and with that, Dunan begins to scarf down the pancakes, they were delicious. "Well come on, I can't eat all of this myself.
-
"My, the lot of you are interesting." Dunan found himself amidst the company of several people who he could tell they were...off. Though if they were crazy, he had yet to find out. The female who had just entered the room smiled, and sat down next to him, ahe was still undressed. "So, you're a vampire and you want to join us, huh? Why should we let you?" Dunan's demeanor didn't miss a beat. "Because I think that a vampire on your side might just be the secret weapon you people need." Dunan looked at each of them, they were looking at his clothes, and sniffing him out. "I see. Why are you covered in blood? I note you've gotten most of it off, but there re faint stains all over you." "A group of vampires intercepted me as I was making my way here. They had the intent of making sure I didn't make it here. I simply dealt with them. They failed in their task." "Evidently. How old are you?" "What is this, twenty questions? I'm almost 400, girlie. And Yes, I met some historical figures, and yes, I willingly became a vampire." At this they freeze. "Why? How?" Dunan looked down to the floor. He slumped slightly, his eyes narrowing as if he was looking into his own memories. "I was only twenty-two. I was very sick, the doctors thought I wouldn't make it through the night. I had made a freind the prevous summer, and he came to see me that night." One of the boys perked up."And he was a vampire?" "Yes, though I didn't know it. He sat beside me, and red tears began to flow down his cheeks. he said,'Dunan, you're such a sweet boy, this is far too cruel for you. I can either end your suffering, or I preserve you for all eternity.... I can make it so other people for hundreds of years can know your love of life, your cheery self...I will give you the choice." Dunan smiled again. "We talked for an hour, before he turned me into a vampire." "If only all vampires were like you and him, we wouldn't have to hunt them. Where is he?" "Dead. Killed by a much older, and much more powerful vampire." Dunan's face became a mask, his sadness tingling and making his eyes burn. "If you want me to join, I will. I think I might be more than a weapon, I'll be bait. You'll find that the longer I'm here, the more and more vampires will come seeking me. I already have quite a few enemies in the supernatural world, but then again, four centuries of fighting assholes will do that." Dunan had smiled at the last part, but it now faded. "In all matters of truth, I want to protect the innocent. There's a lot of fighting going on between vampires, countless innocent people have lost their lives because of it. I feel.... that someone has to protect them. And even if you don't let me join, then that changes nothing. I will still fight to save them, I'll just keep doing it alone."
-
oops... edit edit edit....... "Off with my head, huh? Sounds a bit too much like 'Alice In Wonderland' for my taste. Trust me, this isn't any fairy tale." Dunan says, on entering the living room. "Why are you really here?" asked the boy who had been called Draco. "I've come to employ my services, like I said. I find that, as the humans say, it is best to fight fire with fire, no? Besides, the younger crowd is better in bed. People my age are rather dull, and seemingly no fun at all. Most of them are the monsters you guys hunt. I can't say I have any sympathy for them, being killed. I'd rather kill the lot of them, too." Dunan chuckles, and smiled at the baffled expressions on their faces. He had already proved to be nothing like the things they hunted. "You know, I can't blame anyone if they are hesitant to trust me. But they can go ahead and check me out, all anyone around here has to do is take a whiff of me, I reek of vampire blood, it's all over my clothes. I must admit, I was hoping to be able to take a shower..." "Maybe later you can." The boy called Dawner spoke up, peering cautiously at the vampire in front of him. "Um... can I ask you something?" "Sure. If it means getting people to trust me, then go for it. Ask anything you like." "How old are you?" "I'm pushing 400." "Wow. You're old." Dunan blinked. "Why, thank you for most astute observation." he responded, mildly miffed at being called 'old' like that. "Keep in mind, I was only twenty-two when I became a vampire."

Xen had begun to move, he walked into the chaotic city, to the fires. He could hear the mortal screams of panic, and of despair. "Someone, help me! "I don't wanna die like this!" Such were the outcries. Xen closed his eyes, damning his sense of hearing. A little girl fell in front of him, panic in her eyes. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" On looking her over, he saw her clothes were dirty, and singed. "My mommy...she's still in the fire!" she pointed to an older apartment building, and Xen looked up. His eyes became red as blood as he looked, he could tell that there was someone still alive in the building. But, who ever it was, wasn't moving. "Alright, I'll get your mommy." Xen stood, and leaped up to crash through a third story window. A woman was unconcious on the floor, she had apparently hit her head on the coffee table. Flames roared mere feet from her. Grasping the woman, He jumped back out the window, and to the little girl waiting for him. "Here, take your mommy. She's hit her head, call a hospital." And with that, Xen spun around on his heel, feeling good, albeit the fact most of the cring and screaming had died out. But, he had saved at least one life, he was happy. He had made sure that the little girl wouldn't be left alone in the world. And that made it all worth it. Despite his jubilance, he paused, the scent of burning vampiric bodies was heavy in the air, mixed in with all of the other scents. "So, the war goes on even here...." Xen became angry, and he sighed, pushing his anger away. "This is barbaric. Why must the ones who suffer be the innocent?" Xen punched a wall, putting his fist through it. "This is enough..... I've had it! This stupid god forsaken war of theirs knows no price, all of the innocent lives stolen because of it.... And they aren't wiping each other out." Xen punched the wall again, his face contorted between rage and sorrow. "I'm tired of all of this. Now, Xen is involved." Xen flexed his fingers, looking rather animalistic. He roared, his cry echoing through the night. But, his rage was not just vocal, it was sent out on a psychic note to all of the supernatural. Pain, misery, anguish, rage, sorrow and tears are all on his cry.

I got to go with what I read. Dunan stood amidst the chaos of the aftermath of battle. Blood sprinkled everything, bodies littered the ground. Holding a frightened vampire close, Dunan smiled, revealing all of his teeth. "Shush, now, it will be over quickly." "Please! Please spare me!" The poor bastard pleaded for his life, but to no avail. Dunanran his fingers through the man's hair, smiling ever still. "You know, I already showed my mercy. I gave you the chance to run. Now, that time has passed." Cocking the vampire's head back, Dunan licked his lips. "Vampire blood is a rare treat, like a rare steak sprinkled with salt and pepper. Any last requests?" "Spare me! Please, show mercy....." "You cornered me, and wished to kill me, you and your cronies. I'm afraid I'm all out of mercy. It's on my grocery list, right next to compassion and cookies. Now, I'm sorry I can't grant your last request. Say good-bye to life, moi cheir" Dunan's hand trailed the man's neck, before moving to the hack of the neck. "And say hello to the devil for me. Tell him I'll be there soon, to join you." Dunan's words are a cruel joke to torment a victim who deserved no mercy. Dunan opened his mouth wide, yanked the vampire's head back, and bit deep into his neck. Till death do they part. On finishing, he drops the last vampire, and looks to the mansion, where he had heard that they were training to fight that which goes bump in the night. He wished to join them, but he didn't think showing up covered in blood would be a wise idea, whether it was human or not. Sighing, he flexed his body, and with a motion like he was thrusting double doors apart, the blood on him was flung off. And thus did he make his way to the mansion. He knew he smelled like a vampire, but also there was no scent of human blood on him. He hadn't drank human blood in nearly two and half centuries. Even still, he WAS a vampire. Not many organizations welcomed his kind with open arms. Slowly, he walked up to the mansion, and saw the armed guards posted at the entrances. The early morning sun was beginning to bother him, and his supernatural abilities were beginning to dwindle some. Daylight made him weaker, but it wouldn't kill him. Thank god or that, at least. "Alright, I guess I'm not going to get an invitation inside...Might as well make one." Turning on the charm, he walked up to one of the guards. He smiled brightly, a very different smile that the one the vampire had seen a few minutes ago. This one was a genuine, freindly smile. "Can I go inside?" okay, here is a pic of Dunan.....and his name is pronounced Doo-nan
