The question wasn't Which company influenced ONLY, It was which did the MOST.

I used codes after playing for 2 years, and didn't want to get bored. I got to get about half of the NES games, which were really fun. Why do you garden? It's not like you have to.
. I've heard that you can actually take the disc out while you're playing and the game will keep running.
Yeah, I've done it many times before.

FLCL was kinda weird. A guitar in the head makes a horn shoot out of a kids head. Very weird. The Excel Saga was insane. It called itself the quack experimental anime. She kills the creator of the show! That's crazy!

Can anyone make it so that URLs are parsed when you start a new thread. It's very minor, but would make things smoother.

Also, I don't see how all of the ps2 ports on the psp will work. Ape escape uses dual analog, and PSP doesn't have it. I'm also hating the battery life. Only playing a game for 2 hours really bugs me. Great graphics are impressive, But that doesn't save the system. Game Gear is an excelent comparison.

I just ordered futurama vol. 1 about and hour and a half ago. I would like to get vol. 4, which has some episodes I haven't seen. I've got the money, but not a car. and my parents hate going anywhere. For now, though, I'll watch chinpoko mon on southpark season 3. "We are very simple people, with very small p****."

I have South Park seasons 2 and 3 because I found them for $18 apiece and was giddy for the rest of the day. Punk'd S2 was also cheap($23), but it only has 8 episodes. kind of a bummer. Chappelles show is too hilarious not to buy, especially for the Great NY Boobs segment. I found family Guy volume one in Florida for $20 and had to have it. 28 episodes including my favorite of all, E. Peterbus Unum. Can't touch me! Na, na na na...

How good is America doing in their foreign affairs?
Morpheus replied to Morpheus's topic in General Discussion
Does the vast majority eat with forks? Yes. You are missing the big picture. While a few might like us, they don't let the others know. They are pretty much seen as disgusting, as slobs are here. -
I define a country by its people. And as far as I am aware, I do not see them running around the streets saying how much they hate America and capitalism. Maybe I am not looking hard enough, *shrug* Again, show me where the people say they do not like America and capitalism, then I will believe. Show me vote results saying they do not like capitalism. Hell, show me them raising their hands saying they hate capitalism. Show me proof. I repeat just because they are taught something does not mean they all believe it. I read on the CIA factbook that people are pouring over the borders to leave their country. Obviously they don't believe their government, some do some don't. You can say it wtih as much certainty that I can say the country as a whole does not hate capitalism.
You are too thick. Did we run around in the streets saying how much we hated the USSR? No. Do you know why? We were scared of them. The North Koreans know of our power and are scared. They don't want to test us. It's not taught! It's a moral over there. Just like you were told to eat with a fork and spoon as a toddler, they are told that capitalism is evil. If they like capitalism, they are punished. We didn't say people liked it there. When they find out the truth about us and them, they can't wait to get out. -
Erm, where did you get that information from? lol A Mac G5 isn't the "development kit". Do you know what an SDK consists of? Right now, developers won't be operating from the hardware itself -- they'll be using emulators based on performance targets/benchmarks for Xenon. Bear in mind that these developers already have high-end computers -- most of them are using SGi workstations, which are far more expensive than a $1,500 Mac G5. If they only needed a G5, they'd be pretty happy -- the workstations that developers use generally cost upwards of $10,000USD and carry multiple processors. So, the whole Mac G5 thing is erroneous for a variety of reasons there. Secondly, the workstation itself isn't what contributes to the ultimate cost -- many developers will use the same workstations for a variety of platforms. What matters is the SDK itself and how complicated the hardware and middleware tools are. I doubt that Xenon/Xbox 2 will feature a difficult toolset, considering that the first generation Xbox was driven by well-known components (like Direct X, for example). The architecture will probably be easier for developers to grasp, rather than tougher. And sure, Halo is the big seller on Xbox. But don't assume that Xbox relies on that one game. lol Xenon's success will be centered around the continued rollout of Xbox Live and, to a lesser extent, a new version of Xbox Live that may feature further entertainment features.
You were right, James. The SDK is merely released on a mac G5. I doubt, though, that microsoft would release the SDK on such powerful hardware unless it is needed, so the price point still looks expensive.
I do not consider online playing an option because, I mean, Other than playing against other people it doesn't seem to grab me. If i get an adaptor then maybe i'll play online. But I can always play at a tourney.
The only thing I play online are games that you actually take out, in some way, shape, or form, a person. Even with not owning a headset, it is pleasing that you just killed a human, that someone somewhere in the world just spilled their drink on themselves when you got that headshot. It feels nice.
That is like saying America hates Muslims, because a vast amount of people do hate them, or have strong dislike of them, but we don't say America hates Muslims.
Plain and simple, the majority of americans DON'T hate muslims, or have any dislike for them whatsoever. Most of the dislike is directed towards the middle east, but that doesn't mean we hate the middle east nor does it imply that we hate muslims.
Now when they are taugh that Capitalism is bad and they see that their form of government is crap compared to the United States, I don't believe they will follow it, nor believe it.
Bad is such a weak word. They are taught that it is an evi, vile system as we were taught so about Communism during the cold war. It's not simply asked of the children. It is enforced.l -
How big a factor is online play when you are considering whether or not to buy a game? For me it is a nice part of a game, but not essential. I have an online adapter for my PS2 and Broadband, but I don't play online very often, so online play is a somewhat small consideration. Playing Ratchet and Clank:UYA against 2 other people with my cousin and me screaming at each other as we battle it out was a lot of fun. Maybe I'll consider online more if I can find an alternative to Sony's US$35 Headset.

Are you sick? As in with a disease or illnes or flu?
Morpheus replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
I, luckily, was a very sickly baby. I had 3 cases of pneumonia and 1 of Bronchitis before I was 2. I guess I'm just lucky. TOOD-Just to add to the irony a little, Ratchet and clank is made by a company called insomniac games. -
I believe the official title will be "Everyone Loves Katamari Damacy", but I'm not sure.
Yes, that is what Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy means.

My dad "accidentally" hit my uncle over the head with a croquet mallet....twice. Not at the same time, but we always joke about how it knocked a few screws loose.

Things get drastic when Scoob and the gang can't unmask the koala chief.

I had a blast with this game. The controls take some getting used to, but once you get thhe hang of it, it's great. I can't wait for KD 2.
Morpheus, no offense, but before you make anymore arguments, please look at this in a business perspective for the general public, and also get some solid evidence to back your arguments up. None of the next-gen consoles will fail, I personally feel the 'superpowers' learnt from Dreamcast's failure, and what they need to do. It's just about diversity, but keeping within the same market. For example, the DS and PSP are completely different in layout or features for example; the DS's touch-screen feature - the PSP's music playback feature; But they're both handheld systems. The competition levels will rise, that's it.
I'm saying that the market is growing but as much as the PSP and DS say that they are not competing, they simply are. Sony is competing by making a handheld to fight for market share from Nintendo. Nintendo is coming out with the play-yan, a media device for GBA and DS that plays MP3s and MPEG video off of an sd card. I don't know many people that will drop $340 for 2 handhelds. I'm starting to think that the PSP will survive, if at least on the market strain sony puts by making only a few hundred thousand units. XBOX 2 will fail because of sheer loses. Microsoft either won't sell many because of a high price point, or will take high losses(like XBOX) to get it out there. Their market share means nothing if they put the company at risk. Here are a few articles: XBOX http://www.internetnews.com/bus-news/article.php/3851_927971 http://www.itworld.com/App/4201/030203xboxlosses/ http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/11/15/microsoft_sec_filing_shows_hideous/ Play-Yan http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/12/15/news_6115158.html

Here's another: Pikachu decided to get in on the new "tough trend" by attacking a group of helpless building blocks.
