As far as those three charas you showed, sage, I did a very rough translation with my katakana pages I have. Guy on left: Sano(?) Lday: (Ru)buraso/(Ru)purann/(Ru)puraso/(Ru)burann (Could be (ugh) LuAnn or some form of Ruby? Just my thoughts.) Guy on Right: Uno(?) I haven't the foggiest idea what the dashes in the guys' names mean--I don't claim to know katakana at all! :bluesweat

I didn't know you could DRINK them. I knew if you used the bottle with them in it, the Poe would be set free. Though my brother once said if you tried to drink a Poe, you'd get hurt. oO;
-
Yup! The first asks for 1, the second, 2, the third 3, and the fouth 4. When you talk to each one again, they want the same number again. So, O=2, Go=4, Gr=6, and Tw=8. *counts* Huh, that's odd, I thought you had to give up all your masks by the end of the game. But that only equals 20. ANYWAYS, ask away, friend.
-
That is incorrect. They ask for different amounts. Bonus: "Name" each Moon Child AND the number of masks each one wants?
-
:bluesweat: I'm pretty sure that's right-- All: YOU DON'T KNOW FOR SURE?!? --hush, I'm typing here. :p That's what I thought too, so go for it, CWB.

Definitely. Your going to another country bit should help to avoid any long term embarrassment, if any. Don't live in the "if onlys" or "what ifs". Give it a try, and who knows? ...though it'll be rough with the two of you in different countries. And I thought I had problems with different states. *grins at the person that is directed to* ;)

Question:In MM, how many masks must you give to each Moon Child? And no fair cheating. Let's see who can remember this.

Here's more weird fun: I seem to get siblings every seven years. I am the oldest, followed by my next brother, who is 7 years younger than I am, then followed by my NEXT brother, who is 14 years younger than I am. When I was 21, we got our first dog. FRED! *loves him so much* I have dreams that can sometimes "predict" things. My grandmother was an only child. My mom was the oldest of two, and had a brother. I am the oldest of three, and have two brothers. Does that mean I'll have four kids, one girl and three boys?! :confuse2: Heaven help my future husband, whoever he is. :blulaugh: -
Indeed--my turn! Ah, I'll go easy on you all. What is Barrett's wife's name?

Aren't they supposed to be guarding the graves until the Captain returns?
-
Mmm, if they don't have potions, they can't heal him, so steal their potions, (make a jeering face at them,) and slice them (while commenting that their techniques SUCK). Heh. Just had to throw that extra stuff in for heck of it. *eyes glow red* Tell me I'm right.

Ocarina is definitely a favorite of mine, for said reasons. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is great, the play is one of the first games to be improved by 3D graphics rather than hampered by it. One of my first N64 games, too. The Link to the Past was one of my first SNES games. I was captivated by the music (which was pretty incredible at the time), and the gameplay simply enthralled me. I was hoooked. Link's Awakening was my very first video game, ever. And I loved it. And I still do. There's just something so satisfying about getting everything...and watching the ending. My first heart-twisting ending. *sighs*

You mean the Seymour with all the funky colored circle wheels? Heavens, I hardly even remember that fight. I waltz in with a Overdrive'd Yuna, Auron, and forgot the third--Tidus, prolly, and proceeded to GrandSummon my Overdrived Anima. When in doubt against Seymour, use Overdrive'd Aeons. You can usually pull off an Overdrive and MAYBE an attack before he banishes them. Save your GrandSummon for the strongest Aeon in your party--there was a time when I was able to pull Anima's Overdrive twice against Seymour, and totally blew him away. I think that might have been this very version of him, too.

OK. In LttP, what are the three different color schemes of armor (tunic, hat, and, I think, belt)?
-
No, wait--it was six! It was the last one the lady (whatever her name is o_O) had to check, though Cid told her there wasn't any point to making all the last minute checks. And the one she didn't check was the same one that blew up, costing Cid his lifelong dream. Six, right?
-
Yeah. If you listen to the different Aeon songs of the Fayth (ie--the FFX OST), you will hear a lady singing Valefor's version. Anime is also female, for obvious reasons--but that is a spoiler, so BLEH! :p

*grins* Love that last line, James. Awww, no, really. You know we love you. Just don't kill yourself doing all this stuff. I tried it once. Eh. Many times. Ended up either letting others down or going crazy. And thus is the story of how Ginny became who she is today. :D

I don't drink, swear, smoke, or have intimate relationships with others. Does that count as being weird? :D -
Nope, can't avoid it. It's only you against the Black Waltz and his big pet Sea Lion. It's been a while since I last played...hmmm. Well, take advantage of Trance as soon as you hit it, and make it count. There's a good Dyne, either the first or the second (told you it's been a while oO;.), that totally smacks the Lion up. The first time around, I was able to take the Lion out first, and the second time, the Waltz was the first to die. Either way, hit hard, hit fast, and keep your health up.

Actually, that wasn't the answer I was looking for. Anyone else care to try?

While the forum concept has not been tried, attempts to share jokes in the Lounge have. And, as TV:E pointed out, they quickly descended into unclean realms. In the times that it remained family friendly, it just became spammy. I'd suggest trying to squeeze jokes and riddles into the fanfic forum. Makes sense to me.

Heh, that would be the bottle. What mark/symbol is commonly found on special objects (ie-obelisks) in Ocarina?

*looks indecisive* 4 or 5? 4 or 5? Mmmm.... I pick 5!!! *cringes* Am I right?
Originally posted by Break I've also found out this weird thing: when you use Valefor's Sonic Wings technique when fighting one enemy in battle, it lets you use it over and over again (which is good, since each connecting hit raises the overdrive bar a little). Has anyone else had this happen?
I've noticed that myself. While Valefor may not be the strongest or the healthiest (HP wise), she is still the fastest; speed is sometimes the difference between a win and a loss. And filling up the Overdrive with that method is also nice. Ah, question. Does anyone know if the Aeons have options as to HOW to fill up their Overdrives (for the characters, it's stuff like "Ally", "Victor", "Warrior", etc etc etc)? If not, does the Overdrive filling depend on what Yuna's is set to? Or are the Aeons' Overdrives like the Limit Breaks of FF7--damage=energy (plus the Boost option). BTW, everyone, Valefor is female. Just FYI. ;)
