1. There's only one catch on Anima--
if you don't have all the special items from each temple
, you can't get her. Which is especially bad, since you cannnot return to the Guadosalam Temple (I think that's the one) once you leave it. The Guards won't let you. Anyways, Anima in Overdrive may be a cheap shot, but she is also an extremely powerful one.
2. Know what's really sad--people don't even have to be fake to get money from the public. I read an article in the newspaper a few days ago about a woman who made a website asking for money. She apparentally had a major shopping spree, but couldn't pay, so she made a site asking for people to give money out of the kindness of their hearts. This lady was buying stuff like gucci bags, designer clothes, and the like, so it wasn't like she was poor. The odd part is, people actually gave. I can understand giving to the needy, but to a lady who can't control her Tommy Hillfigure (sp) urges? Please.
3. We once were able to breed our gerbils--we had a black mother and an albino father. If I remember correctly, it was winter when it happened. Lots n lots of toitet paper rolls (they shred them not only to keep their teeth sharp, but for the warm strips that are left over) and shavings, too. Ours had a sad ending. After we found she had given birth, we had to take the mother away from the babies. Out of three, one died right after it was born, and another disappeared completely (gruesome end). The third we tried to nurse ourselves, but...it died in our hands. That had to be one of the saddest things ever for me. :bawl: Anyways, yes, keep it warm! Treats, food, shavings, rolls, all that good stuff. And make sure you have two healthy, young hamsters--older ones are a lot less likely to breed.
4. Aren't fish useful? Heh. OK, in "Link to the Past", where can you strand a fish? And what will it give you if you save it?
5. *giggle* Everyone who wants to be God, raise your hand! *a forest of hands rises up instantly* oO; Well, what fun is that? Ken: I could be the GOD of Gods. Everyone else: Me too! *Ginny dies of laughter*
6.
Beh, I don't know why I bother trying to participate in discussions. Everyone seems to freak when I come on the scene...V_V;
Anyways, I still say what James said is nice in theory, but... This is not something brought on by my faith (if that's what's bothering you, James :)), but my opinion. I have had multiple instances where I had all the answers and everything under control--and I still get thrown a curve ball. Besides, life is interesting when you don't know what to expect next! Like Deus said, the roughest times are the times that build our character (no matter how much they suck :rolleyes:.). *falls off of soapbox* OWWWW!!!! Heh, back on topic--anything that flies. Preferrably a griffon, but Puck is cool, too. I just want to be able to fly.
7. Kehho: *kicking something* Think he forgot about us? All of us? *The plushies wait to tackle the PM the instant it shows up.*
8. I believe it was the Zoras. I don't really remember Gerudos being in the early games. ...but then, I never played the early games. :bluesweat
9. OOoo, Master as in the blue guy that steered the Shoopuf or at least, the same species as him? Wakka and Lulu?!? *screams*
I thought for sure it would be Wakka and Rikku!!!
Mr. Mech could be a Seymour/Auron clone hybrid that got injured, so they attached metal stuff to him. :haha: Does Jester=Bard? Or should we say that Rikku is a Thief in that one piccie of her? I'm becoming quite interested in this game.
10. In theory that could work. But James, there are still some answers that none of us have found yet, and not all answers are ones we like or agree with. And having all the answers doesn't make life perfect, IMO. Like a video game--just because you know everything that's going to happen the second time around doesn't mean that you'll avoid problems--or unhappiness. Just IMO--don't ban me, please! OK, if it were possible, bleh heh, :p to turn into something at death, I'd be a griffon or something else with wings, because I love the thought of flying. I'm leaning on my faith here when I say that when I die, I'll go to Heaven with God. So when I die, I'll be a saint. Go me. ^^; *laughs gently*
11. All RIGHT! Now we're talking! Name: Owen Burnett/Puck (and Alexander) Race: Human/Third Race (1/4 third race, 3/4 human) Picture: Strength/Power: (Owen) He is everywhere Xanatos can't be and seems to have knowledge about anything and everything. (Puck) Being of the Third Race, he has powers (which include shape shifting) beyond mortal comprehesion; however, he can only use them in conjunction with Alexanader now (see Background Info). (Alexander) Like Puck, Alexander has Third Race powers in him; Puck is teaching the infant how to use them. Favorite Weapon: (Owen) His knowledge and his stone fist. (Puck) His word-twisting wit and fluter's pipe. (Alexander) Um, he uses his cuteness? Or his daddy's anger? Background info: (Owen) He is employed under Xanatos after working for the Renards, and has proven to be the multimillionaire's indispincible major-domo. Being the right hand man, he has knowledge of everything--and ways to cover his master's tracks. He obtained a stone fist when testing the Cauldron of Life for Xanatos. During the battle for Alexander, it was revealed that Owen is actually Puck. (Puck) One of the Third Race, or Fay, Puck is the servant of Oberon (the very same found in Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream). He followed Oberon's wife, Queen Titania, who dwelled with the humans; Puck soon followed suit. He made himself into Owen Burnett, and kept an eye on Titania (who posed as Mrs. Renard). Later, Puck revealed himself to Xanatos, and gave him the option of having any one wish from Puck--or a lifetime of service from Owen. Xanatos chose Owen, and Puck has forever remained with him. During the battle for Alexander, Oberon faulted Puck for siding with the humans, and stripped the Fay of his powers, save only when training or protecting Alexander. Oberon also decreed that Puck is now exiled from Avalon, the home of the Third Race. Puck, knowing of Xanatos' cruise, wishes to find some way to return home again... (Alexander) The baby born to David and Fox Xanatos, he was sought after by Oberon for being Titania's grandson. Fortunately, Fox proved to still have powers, forcing Oberon to allow the baby to stay with his parents, and develop his powers under Puck's care. WHEW! That was a lot. Heh. BTW, if anyone wants to refresh their memories on the show itself, there are good episode summaries here.
12. Unless they do some weird sort of time traveling, that can't be Auron, because
Auron gave up his pyrefly to give life to Tidus at the ending of FFX
and this guy doesn't have a scar over his eye. This guy reminds me of someone in FFX...but who? (Funky hair...oO)
13. The twist near the end of the game was interesting...but by that time, it was also predictable. I reiterate, four disks is WAY too long for a story. >.
14. *looks torn between perverse fascination and stunned disgust* What the HELL?!?!? What was up with all the pauses between each chara "talking"? ("Rarrr!")
15. Now THAT is an idea--to put all the original FF games (1-6) on one PS2 disk. I would definitely buy that, heh. Do you think it would be possible?
16. If knowledge serves, you must edit your template before you post. Also, if you are having problems seeing if your posts are updating or not, check the chronological order of your posts. Do you have it in reverse order (preferred method) or the "proper" order? If in proper order, later posts appear after the earliest post. This has confused me before. Just scroll down, and they should be there. As far as the archives go, there's been a lot of problems with those lately for all Bloggites, so... A final word--I've noticed Blogger does not update the second you post. I usually go to my page, wait about 15 seconds, then refresh--and the posts/changes/what have you show up.
17. It's going to be PS. The box art, for one--that's a typical PS box, not a PS2 one. And the graphics--Sony could not get away with graphics like that on PS2--they'd be slaughtered. ^^; Just my thoughts.
18. Yeah--I'll say this much: I enjoyed iX a lot more than Viii. The fairy tale atmosphere was great. But dragging the poor tale for four disks was a bit of overkill. oO;
19. I tend to use one or two word phrases: "Oh, spaz!" "Bwee?" (stole from Ken) "Bleh!" *said while sticking your tongue out* "Freaks." Nothing terribly thought provoking, heh. Just pure, unadulterated feelings. Bleh! :p
20. *Kehho waits patiently for her PM.* Kehho: Maybe Bent Metal forgot about me? AuronPlush: Now how could he forget about the girl that slam kicked the star into the lighthouse while drug induced? Kehho: Anybody could do that. (That was a star?) AP: Name one. *Kehho points to Seifer, the pot smoking towel.* AP: :therock: :bluesweat Yeah, but that's different! Kehho: Whatever. :rolleyes:
21. I like "nomadhood". Just the right quality to *shivers*...ah, yeah. Just the right quality to make it look...well....well, SHOOT--of all the times to run out of words. My first time to use a rating ever: 9.7/10
22. Wow, those ARE good graphics--better than the originals. *is immediately pummeled to death by Pixel Puritans* :blackeye: Ow. Let's face it--in today's graphic day and age, these new graphics are the only way the game can sell. Mmmm, I might have to get me Origins (and then see if I can find Anthology anywhere...:grumble:.). Without spoiling them, are the storylines good--does anyone know?
23. Don't blame God. And definitely do not blame yourself, Liam. I'm not terribly good at the comforting thing, but there is this--things will work out. They may not work out the way you expect or want, but they will work out. Sadly, bad things happen in this world 'cause this world is freaking screwed up. (That's why I take comfort in knowing that this imperfect life isn't all we get.) I'll keep you in my prayers. Please hang in there.
24. Kehho: *wailing* The DUMP?!? Auron plushie: That seems rather extreme. Baku: *nervous* Don't forget that we lost money from the last contest, too. //>.
25. That's odd--the banner doesn't show up in the first post of this thread. But doesn't the OB run on a database, and therefore...*looks puzzled* Anyways, I like this one--especially how one half of the face is in your avie, and the other half in the banner. Nice!
