1. Well, yeah, we can always take more people on. If you really want Demona, you can have her. If you have someone else you'd like to play as (for example, Elisa), you can. Feel free to sign up--the RPG will be starting very soon.
2. Um....yeah? *blinks* It's not a pigtail, it's--whatever guys call their version of ponytails. It's always been there, just tucked in his big collar. *wishes Auron was in this next game* :bawl:
3. *eyes James for a moment* M'kay, you're screwed. :bluesweat All right, all right--that was a little mean. I dunno about your situation on Anima (I keep thinking there's one temple you can't go back to, so if you hadn't got the special item from there...), but you can still get the Legendary Weapons for sure. I never beat the game without Anima, so...whee lookit me! So full of answers today! :worried:
4. I wanted to do that too, but to be honest, if you are past Yunalesca, and you have Anima plus a few Legendary Weapons, max health is rather a moot point. At least, it was for me. My unlocked Masamune-equipped Auron was running 6000 HP, my unlocked Nirvana-equipped overdrived Yuna had Overdrived Aeons, and Sin never know what hit it. :D But there's still something special about max health, granted. And one of these days, I plan to unlock every node, if it is possible. As soon as I get everything in "Ratchet&Clank", I'm going back to FFX. :D:D:D
5. It would be nice to have some sort of 3D RPG with Pokémon--one with a real storyline--but the truth is, you can't have every monster with every stat, and still expect there to be room in the programming for the story, too. =\ I think Nintendo should try something Spyro/Banjo-Kazooie/Jak&Daxter-ish. You know, be able to go to different worlds and collect items and money, unlock new worlds, new characters. You wouldn't have a chance to play as every mon, but maybe the enemies could be Pokémon, and, instead of character moves like Buttstomping and Punching, you could use a Pokémon instead (I can see using Snorlax for the butt-stomp move). It's a thought.
6. Or you could already be strong enough to go where you want, if you aren't getting sphere levels for each battle. It's a thought. :) *looks at James' avie* :twitch:
7. A few things I read in a magazine today: ~~Link can pick up weapons that enemies drop--though they will quickly find other means to fight back. ~~the Wand doubles as the "Ocarina" object As you can see from that piccie directory, there also seems to be multiple Tingles. God have mercy on all our souls. oO;
8. You mean the battle arena, right? Then I want to say Nemesis.
9. Really? Gosh, I kept getting sphere levels really fast at Omega Ruins. As far as Lvl 3 and 4 ones go...that's a different story altogether. To my knowledge, Omega Ruins is as hard as you can get, before the final area. But once you go into the final area, you can't come out again, so.... I have no answer for you, James? Sorry.
10. *floats* I want mooooooooore....driving me craaaaaaaaazzzy!
11. What the heck. I originally wanted Demona, so I'll toss her into my list too, if that is ok with Shy. Name: Demona Race: Gargoyle Picture: Strength/Power: Her strength is matched only by Goliath's, for she was his second in command at Castle Wyvern. What she cannot do with brute force, she covers with her magical abilities, a talent scorned by most gargoyles. Favorite Weapon: The biggest portable laser cannon money can buy. Background info: Demona's primary thought in life is "Humans evil." In 994, she conspired with the Captain of Castle Wyvern to help the Vikings ransack the Castle, so she and her clan could live in peace without humans. Unfortunately, the Viking leader smashed her clan, with the exception of the Manhattan Gargoyles (Goliath, Hudson, Bronx, Lexington, Brooklyn, and Broadway) and the Rookery eggs, of which one was Goliath's and Demona's--Angela. Later on, Demona made a pact with MacBeth and the Weird Sisters to be an immortal. A thousand years of life has only hardened her revenge and resolve to kill all the humans. A curse by Puck causes Demona to turn into a human during the day, instead of stone like the other gargoyles. She has used this to her advantage to start her company Nightstone, and is close to catching up to Xanatos in money and power. Her only other thorn in her side is MacBeth. Though her thoughts on immortality are unclear, she knows that she can still die by his hand.
12. OOC: I don't know how much I'll be able to type this week, but I've been begging my parents nonstop to bring our net access back (almost to the point that I'm willing to pay for it. xX). In the meantime, here we go. Lotus was lost in her dreams. Darkness. Then a spark. She walked toward it, and the spark blossomed into a large fire. Light flicked on a campsite set around it, and Lotus recognized her old troupe, the Miraculous Miramazzos. The members seem pale, wraithlike. And Starlet was nowhere to be seen. Lotus brushed her worry aside as a mandolin began to play, joined by a flute, and a few drums. Unable to deny her heritage, the dancer was instantly leaping about the fire, twisting like the wind, her raven hair twirling in mimicing motions, her bracelets clacking together in rhythm. Lotus wasn't bothered when she saw the statue had joined the dance. For a solid creature, it moved gracefully. But with every turn about the fire, it seemed to be leading her elsewhere. Soon enough, Lotus and the creature stood at the very edge of the campsite, where the last of the firelight could touch. "The time is near... Free me, traveler... Find the Aeolian Harp... When the future is in jeopardy... The salvation lies in the past..." The exhilarated feeling was fast leaving Lotus, and she turned to look at the statue. As was the nature of dreams, though, it was no longer there. "Where do I find the Harp?" she cried out. "Find the Aeolian Harp..." "Where?!" she cried out again, in exasperation. "Listen for its music..." the voice answered, before fading away completely. Lotus woke up in the cave. She was upset. The dream had seemed so real, that she was still with her troupe. But here she was, stuck with the statue that didn't talk, or, when it did, it made no sense. Lotus sighed and leaned against the statue. And the slightest thrums of a Harp could be heard.
13. I'll be back as soon as I can, too. In about a week, prolly--about Heart's Day, most likely. *hopes* ~EDIT~ If you whine enough, they will give in. ^^ I'm baaaaaaaaaaack!!!
14. *stands over Shaun* You need to hurry up with the midterms and write MORE. Shaun: Then quit standing over me! :p
15. While there is no real moral implications held in the issue (you surely won't be "damned to Hell" if you smoke), it's still a black and white case for me. I'm quite allergic to cigarette smoke. So much so that the managers have to always make sure that I am in a nonsmoking section when I serve at my store. Once, I had to train in a smoking section, and got pretty sick, headache and nausea wise. This kills the "oppurtunity" of me ever being addicted. I have a manager I care about a lot...and he smokes. He knows it's wrong. I'm pretty sure he wants to quit, too. But, being a high strung sort, it's his way of relaxing. A lot of the servers argue that point, too--they smoke because it calms them down after a shift, or it helps them make it through the day. Sounds like addiction to me. Anyways, there's my two cents.
16. The worst I ever got was trying to say BTW IRL. I would say the first two letters...then pause...and wonder what the heck was going on with my brain. (Internet junkie!) The only real thing that's carried over is bwee and bwa. And worse yet, it's catching on over here. X_x
17. OK, it's all good. Go for it, Bremma. :)
18. What amazes me is that this game is more randomized that many I have come across. The
Yunalesca
battle is the MOST pronounced example of this. The AI will do something unexpected, unplanned for, or just totally, plainly unfair. So FFX tends to be based more on chance than anything. Not having Yuna also sucks. But you got to keep trying until you win. Evrae was the second hardest for me.
19. Kehho: That does it. *She pulls out her magic paintbrush and paints herself gianormous.* GiantKehho: I AM GOING TO FIND BENT METAL AND BRING THAT LEADER OF THIS RPG BACK HERE! *she runs off, every step shaking the earth* Faris: *yelling after her* Does this mean you don't want pudding?
20. Coolies! ^^ Describe the locations of five of the Big Poes that wander the "future" Hyrule Field in OoT. (How many are there in total?)
21. Well, but that's true of ALL the Cids, so bwhaha on you! :p I've only played a little of 4 and 6...um um um...is each Cid related to one of the playable characters of the game?
22. I think I understand what you are asking. Cojiro's owner is found at the base of a tree in Kakariko village when you are little Link. As adult Link, you find him in the Lost Woods, leaning against a tree stump. Later, he is replaced by a Kokiro girl, and yeah, I noticed a repetitive word in there, too--something like "always", "forever", or some other eternal type word. She kept saying it over and over again as she was talking about how Cojiro's owner was forever a Stalfos now.
23. Oh...my...:faint: Hey, the laughing scene wasn't that bad. Well...it woulda been better if Yuna had looked so freakin' STIFF! (But then, that's the characterization showing there--properly brought up Summoners aren't supposed to show emotion, right?) The idea was well meant, the execution just went wrong. I can see an oppurtunity for some really good music in this cutscene, though.
24. The greatest impact I've seen in the few FFs that I know (again, 7, 8, 9, and 10) would be in the Sphere Grid, though. As many pointed out, flexible customization is a beauty. My primary example is Auron. The worst magic user, and arguably the slowest fighter. Once I got the general run of his area of the Grid (power and HP), I quickly took him through Kimahri's small area to Rikku's and Tidus'. Tidus' provided Agility, while Rikku's provided badly needed Speed. Pretty soon, I had a powerhouse that could strike first or carry the group away from battle before the enemy even moved. Very nice (especially in Omega Ruins--downright necessary). Though my small attempt to extend his power into the realm of magic failed rather miserably. V_V; Such incredible enhancements like this I never really noticed in the other games (that or I'm blind). The other systems tended to carry a watered down version of this.
25. I know they are yellow colored, but beyond that... *points and screams laughingly* No shame, no shame--Tasis copied that straight out of the player's guide! *Everyone stares at her* How would I know that? I...ah...well, see, that is...uh oh... Ummm, no i didn't Ginny.... i don't use/need any of them books, i find it cheating :whoops: - Tasis
