Here's another shot of the trees. They look great compared to the other ones.
-
I guess this was a double post, but I've done more if anyone's interested... I added more realistic trees and a lot of scenery and such.

This was my one and only wreck. I was on my way to pick up Tara for school. I rounded the same curve I had for a whole year, and hit some ice. My little Ford Probe's Anti-lock brakes failed and I went straight into a guardrail. I remember the hood crumbling, and all the noise, and finally one big explosion. All was black for what my brother said was the next 20 minutes. And I do mean black. There was nothing. I woke up to find myself draped back in my driver's seat, and my brother trying to pull me out of the car. I tried to talk and couldn't. My mouth was full of something gritty and blood. My face and arm hurt more than anything. The airbag had done all the injury. The crash was rather minor, although it totaled my car. The air bag exploding hit me dead on in the chin, shattering all my front teeth, tearing the skin off my face and neck, and burning my arm, as well as straining it from the force. The impact gave me a medium grade cuncusion.(sp) I remember the cop telling me that had I been 2 feet to the left or right, I'd not be there. I'd have gone under the guardrail, between the posts. The rail would have killed us. One thing echoed in my mind the whole time. "Wake up, Shaun." It took my mom to point out that I survived for a reason.

I had a friend once. We were quite close up until I went to high school. Then he got into drugs and stuff really bad. I saw him on the bus one morning and talked to him a bit. It was nice to catch up. Then a while later, he committed suicide. That's rough.

Finally a new chapter....:) Chapter 9: Home In The Past ?I can?t believe you, TK. What happened to you? We were best friends. How can my love of a man other than you change that?? Kari pleaded with him. ?You left me. I didn?t leave you. I was going to give you everything I had. You knew how I felt. You said yes to Davis to rub it in my face. Well, two can play that game.? TK sneered. ?What?s happened to you?? ?Me? You want to know what happened to me? Fine. Don?t say you didn?t ask.? TK sat down on a stool on the stage as his mind wandered back to the day it all ended. TK walked down his home street, both arms full with bags from the store. His brother Matt was off on some kind of tour, so he had the apartment all to his self. TK unlocked the door, and set the bags down. He pulled a dozen red roses from one of them, and placed them in the refrigerator. Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a tiny box and opened it. There set a stunningly cut, heart-shaped engagement ring. TK had saved all year for it. He knew it would be a surprise to Kari, but he was sure she?d say yes. TK dug around through the other bags, and pulled out candles, rose petals, and some spiffy boxers he?d found in a catalog Matt had. Tonight was going to be a night to remember. His heart beat faster just thinking of it. Next he pulled out a red tablecloth, and then put the dinner he?d ordered in the oven to keep warm. He began to set the table with the fine china his mother had lent him. He carefully placed each candle, and all the rose petals around the table. It was just perfect. TK smiled. He looked at his watch. 6:00 p.m. Kari should be getting home any time now. He?d go over about 7:00. He dressed himself in nice looking khakis, and a button-up shirt. He didn?t wear his usual hat, or tennis shoes. He wanted to make a great impression. He gelled his hair, and was out the door in ten minutes. It was the beginning of a night he knew would change his life. TK?s first strike out came just as he hit the sidewalk. The wind blew fierce and it started to rain. Lightning flashed overhead, signaling that the storm was here for a while. TK decided to take the bus instead of walk. He sat down in the front seat, and held the roses close. Kari?s apartment was just a few blocks. The bus let him off at her apartment building, and TK took the elevator to the 12th floor. He walked around the corner, and got to Kari?s door. He rang the bell. No answer. He tried again. Still nothing. He told himself that she was just working late, so he?d wait there. He sat down on the bench by the window, and waited. Minutes turned into an hour. One hour turned into two. Finally at 9:30, TK heard the elevator chime at the 12th floor entrance. Kari walked out looking cheery and very blush. She looked a little surprised to see him. TK thought she looked a little frightened too, but he didn?t care. ?Hey! Where?ve you been? I?ve been waiting on you for hours!? TK smiled. ?Oh, I?m sorry. Was I supposed to be here?? Kari asked. ?No, I was just coming over to surprise you.? TK replied. ?Well I?m surprised. Come on in! I have great news!? Kari chimed. The two walked in and Kari went to change out of her work clothes. She came back in her pink shirt and her khaki shorts that she always wore. Then she noticed TK. ?You?re all dressed up. What?s the occasion?? Kari asked. ?You?ll find out soon enough. First though, I want to hear your good news,? TK answered, blushing a little. Kari held out her hand. On it, was a ring with a diamond in the middle and small pink stones surrounding it, so that it looked like her Crest of Light. ?Wow! Where?d you get that?? TK asked as he stared at it. ?It?s from Davis. He asked me to marry him!? The words echoed in TK?s head, and down through his heart. ?Wha?what?? He managed. ?Yeah! I?m engaged!? Kari resounded happily. TK turned almost white. He shivered a little. ?What?s wrong TK? Aren?t you happy for me?? ?I should go,? TK stammered. As he stood he dropped the roses from his lap, and as he bent over to pick them up, the ring box fell out. It opened and the ring popped out and rolled over to Kari?s feet. It all became apparent to her then. She let out a small gasp. TK sat there on one knee, and placed the ring back in its box. This was not how he?d envisioned the night at all. He wanted to cry. He didn?t realize it, but he already was. ?TK, I?I thought we?d discussed this before? You knew Davis and I had been going out.? Kari tried. ?I?thought I could give you more. I guess I was wrong,? he said as he went out the door. ?TK?I?m sorry.? Kari called after him. She shut the door, and slinked to the floor in tears. She hated to see her best friend in that much pain because of her. TK walked recklessly out the apartment door into the rain, not caring where he went. He kept walking and walking. He passed his apartment, then went passed Davis?s. He thought about going in, but didn?t. The wind and rain hammered him, but he didn?t even feel it. He just walked on. Finally, he came to the park, and sat down on a bench. Feelings of anger and hate and sorrow paced through every part of him. He felt a side of himself come back that hadn?t surfaced since the days of the digimon emperor. He felt more hatred than anything. He wanted revenge. A very dark presence crept over him. ?So here you sit. Alone again.? A cold voice said. ?Who?s there?? TK jumped. ?It doesn?t matter. I can help you get what you want.? ?How do you know what I want?? ?It?s simple. You want revenge. It?s written all over your face. I can help you get it.? TK sat for a moment. Whoever this was, was right. He did want revenge. ?I want it.? He said under his breath. The next thing TK knew, he was lying on the bench in the sunshine the next morning. It had been a dream. The sun hurt his eyes, and made him feel sick. He just wanted to go home. He went to his apartment. Matt wasn?t home yet. He dug around in his closet to find some dry clothes. He pulled out a black shirt, and black shorts of Matt?s. It seemed right. He walked into the living room to find the answering machine full of messages from Kari. He didn?t eve listen to them. He walked into the kitchen to find it decorated the way he left it. It angered him to see such bright beautiful things. He walked over to the table, and jerked the tablecloth, and everything on it, to the floor. His mother?s china shattered. TK couldn?t stay here. It just wasn?t happening. He packed a few things and headed out. His grandparents had left him some money in an inheritance fund, so he?d live off that. He wasn?t sure where he?d go, but it wouldn?t be far. He?d made up his mind that his heart would be avenged, no matter what the cost. ?And after that is the first time you attacked me.? Kari interrupted the flashback. ?Smart, aren?t you?? TK sneered. ?TK. Let us help you. Something?s very wrong here.? ?You?ve helped enough. It?s time to end this nightmare.?

Who would you like to meet in real life?
Shaun replied to Yu Yu Hakusho!'s topic in General Discussion
I've always wanted to meet Reba McIntyre, Roma Downey, and Naomi Judd. Short list, but hey... -
Another Odd thing happened this weekend. Not quite so strange, but I've never seen it. On the ground right now, we have 2 inches of ice. Then, on top of that, there's 3 inches of snow. THEN on top of that, there's another 3 inches of ice. And now it's snowing again. This is the biggest storm to hit the area in years. Make's for some pretty pictures though.
-
I spent FOREVER on this thing. I really like the way it looks, and it incorporates all of my favorite animes. What do you all think?
-
I love the coloring in it, though it is a bit uneven in places. I give it an 8/10. :)
-
The snow rolled up like tumbleweeds. When they got too heavy they stopped like that. I swear, they were everywhere. Some of them rolled down hills and got huge! I saw one on the way to work that was at least a foot tall. It's so cool how some things happen!:)
-
That was a truly inspired comment, Justin. Thanks! That made my day.:)
-
OOooohh. I see. It's not my theory. It's my faith. The rest of you are being really big pessimists about this. It's all true. Why would I have nothing better to do than to go out and roll a few hundres blocks of snow and hollow them out? Here's one up close. Look at it's path. So interesting. For you that doubt, look at the one's in the background. There's not a single footprint around them. Still need more proof?
-
The snow rollers were all over the southeastern part of Ohio, and some of northern west virginia. Don't believe me? Do a search on WSAZ news channel 3. That's the news station here. They did a whole story on it. They even used the pictures mom and I took, as well as many others.
-
Theory? About how they were made? That's what the weather dude on TV said. Not me. And that's a yard stick.
-
They explained it on the news. The snow was a sticky kind, not wet, and the wind was fierce. The snow just caught up in the wind, but was too heavy to be drifted, so it rolled over. Then the wind kept on blowing them, so they got bigger. Say what you will, but this has only happened twice on record. SO I call it an act of God. It's just His way of reminding us who look for him that he's still there. ^_^ Here's another photo to show size.
-
I originally did this in pencil, but I sat and colored it tonight. WHat do you all think?
-
The wind howled all night last night. I wondered if it was ever going to let up. But then this morning, we awake to find these weird shapes in our yards. The whole area had them. I took several pictures, and I sent them in to the news. We've been on TV all day! They're called snow rollers. The wind made them. I consider it nothing less than the hand of God. How great and awesome this is!

Chapter 8: The Darkness Before the Dawn. Davis was healing so fast that even the doctors were amazed. He?d only been out of the hospital for a week, and already he was up and around on his own, despite his broken ribs, and sprained ankle. Soon, Kari and he would be returning to Tokyo. Davis could hardly wait. He loved visiting Joe and Mimi, but the comforts of home were calling. His only regret was that Kari?s birthday trip had to be ruined by that crazy boy, TK. Davis was dwelling on that, and it only made him angrier. ?Don?t worry about it, Davis. It?s not your fault. I don?t know why he?s doing this. I still had a nice time.? Kari assured him. ?I know, but I didn?t get to share it with you.? Davis whined. ?Heh, you are getting good at this whining thing!? Kari giggled. ?Hey!? Davis laughed. Just then, Mimi walked into the room. ?Hey guys, would you like to go down to Central Park for a walk? It?s a beautiful evening.? ?Sure!? Davis was glad to get out, even if he did have to use crutches. ?Sounds great, Mimi!? Kari agreed. Soon the group made their way to the bottom floor, and Mimi hailed a taxi. It was about 6:30, so the evening rush was pretty much over, and Mimi got a cab easily. They arrived at Central Park about 15 minutes later. It was truly a beautiful evening. The wind was blowing in the warm summer air, and the sunset was gorgeous. The group started out along the sidewalks through the park. Kari took in all the sights, especially the wildlife. She gazed at the various birds, and squirrels she saw as they walked down the way. After about an hour of walking, Davis had to rest. ?You guys go on ahead. I?ll catch up.? He panted. ?We?ll wait,? Kari said. ?Hey! I?ll go get us a hot dog!? Mimi chimed. ?Sounds great Mimi. I?m starved!? Davis agreed, and Mimi went off to find a vendor. Kari sat down on the bench beside Davis. ?Isn?t it a wonderful evening? I?Hey! Look at that!? Kari pointed over to the trees nearby. There, way up in the branches, was one of the Bald Eagles that had been set free in the park. ?Oh, wow!? Davis said quietly. ?Quick! Go get a picture!? ?Right!? Kari dug her camera out of its bag and went over to the tree the eagle was in. ?Davis? I?m going over here to get a better angle.? Kari pointed. ?Okay. I?ll be right here.? Davis replied. Kari walked over to a nearby rise, and set up here camera for a good shot. The surrounding area was rather thickly wooded, and it was a little dark. But the sunset cast the perfect light on the eagle. Kari began taking pictures. ?I?m back!? Mimi announced to Davis. ?Where?s Kari?? ?She went over there to get a picture of that eagle up there.? Davis pointed up. ?Oh! I?ve seen him before. Isn?t he gorgeous? He has a mate somewhere around here.? Mimi said. Right on cue, another eagle flew up into the tree with its mate. ?Oh, wow!? I hope Kari?s getting all this!? Davis smiled. Suddenly, both eagles flew, along with dozens of other birds. Everything got eerily quiet. ?I wonder what scared them all away?? Mimi asked. ?I don?t know. I hope Kari got some good pictures.? Davis replied. Almost at the mention of her name, the two heard Kari scream. Mimi got up and ran in that direction, with Davis hobbling along behind. Kari was nowhere to be found. ?Kari?!? Davis and Mimi called. Silence. They called again. ?Kari?!? This time, another scream was heard. This one was much further away. Mimi ran as fast as she could. She got to the fence in time to see TK knock Kari into the backseat of a car, and speed away. ?Kari! Oh NO!? Mimi screamed, and climbed the fence. She tried to run after the car, but the traffic was too thick. It sped away, dashing in and out of lanes as it went. Mimi noticed some blood on the sidewalk. ?Oh no?Kari!? ?Mimi?! What?s happening?? Davis drug himself over the fence. ?He?s got her, Davis.? ?WHAT?! CALL KEN!? ?On it!? TK had used the same chemical on Kari as he had on Davis. When she woke up, she found herself in a dark, open building. ?TK!? This is stupid! What do you think you?re going to do with me? Do you hear me?!? ?Oh, I hear you.? Lights flashed on all around Kari. They nearly blinded her. When her eyes adjusted, she found herself sitting on an old, abandoned stage of some kind. There were rows and rows of seats in front of her, and props from old plays around her. At the back of the auditorium stood TK. He had the most ridiculous look on his face Kari had ever seen. If she weren?t tied up, she?d have laughed. He looked crazy. He even reminded her of Ken at one point, when he was the digimon emperor. ?What are you doing?? Kari asked lightly. ?You are going to star in a little play I have written, called The Tragic Death of Kari Kamiya.? ?Oh that was original. Did you think of that all by yourself?? TK slapped her face. She turned her cheek, and then spat at him. ?Cute. I almost hate to do it. In fact, I think I?ll make you sit there and listen to just what I?ve gone through since you broke my heart.? TK said in a low voice. It almost didn?t sound like his. ?Oh, is this some form of torture?? Kari jested. ?Quiet, girl! You will hear me!? TK threatened to slap her again. Kari sat back and prepared for some sort of huge drawn out story. She expected it from him now. What she got answered more than she bargained for.

Chapter 7: The Eye of the Storm. Due to their current situation, the Tokyo News agreed to let Kari take a leave of absence. Kari was grateful that she was able to have such an understanding boss. She was soon on the phone with the general management of Davis?s restaurant as well. They assured her that everything would be in order, and wished Davis a speedy recovery. Kari thanked them, and called her mother to give an update. They made arrangements for her to fly to New York, and bring Kari some clothes and things. She?d be staying with Mimi and Joe until Davis recovered. It was to be a long road ahead, especially with TK still out there. Night after night, Kari sat by Davis?s side, hoping, praying for some change in his condition. He was stable, but he?d lost so much blood, and sustained so much internal injury, that the recovery process was hampered. He?d wake up, and manage a smile at her, but would cringe in pain, and fall right back out of consciousness. Through it all, Kari stayed. She refused to leave him at night until she was sure he?d be okay. She spent a total of two weeks in that room Then one day Davis finally woke up. It was as though he?d only been sleeping this whole time. He wanted food. He wanted out of bed. He tugged at the IV?s in his hands and arms. Davis was back to his stubborn self. He was even out of the hospital within three days of waking up. Joe took some much needed time off to watch him. His condition was still guarded, though Davis insisted he was healed. Nevertheless, he obediently stayed at Joe and Mimi?s apartment for Kari?s sake. They?d made plans to be there, until they were sure that TK was nowhere in the area. All the while, Kari kept thinking about the image she saw in the light. It had been at least five years since she?d seen that form. She often wondered what her childhood partner was up to. Could it have been her? If so, how did she get here? Was it her own will that had brought her partner back? Kari stared out the 19th story window, gazing at the nightlights, thinking to herself. Little did she know her every move was observed. Directly across the busy street on the 15th floor, sat TK, in his hotel room. He made every attempt at watching her without being seen. He was doing good, so far. He sat in his dimly lit room, thinking; wondering. Why hadn?t he just killed them? The thought surprised him. He couldn?t kill?could he? Sure he wanted revenge, but was a life worth it? ?Was any of this worth it?? A voice asked. ?Huh? Who?s there?!? TK demanded. ?Let?s just say you?re not crazy.? The voice returned. ?Where are you?!? ?I should be asking you the same thing.? The voice said grimly. TK thought he recognized the voice as someone from his past. ?That?s right. Those were happier times weren?t they?? The voice read into his thoughts. ?What the?!? TK fell to his knees, holding his head. ?Get out! Out of my head!? TK opened his eyes. There, in front of him, was a blonde-headed boy, in a blue and yellow shirt, with a familiar hat. The bright blue eyes stared down at him. ?You?re not real!? TK screamed. ?I?m very real to those who know me. At least, I was.? The boy answered. ?You?re not me!? ?No, I?m not. But you WERE me.? TK finally got the courage to look up again. The boy was right. That was him, six years prior. The same clothes, hair, eyes, everything. TK cried a little. ?I can?t be you. It hurts too much. Just go AWAY!? ?I?ll leave. But you can?t get rid of me forever?? With that, the boy vanished in a bright light. As he faded out, TK could have sworn he saw a man?s outline, not a boy?s. It looked somehow familiar to him. As darkness swept back over the room, though, the image was erased from his thoughts. Kari sat in the window seat in Mimi?s room looking at the city below. She was quite relaxed. Davis was feeling better. She?d spent a wonderful afternoon with Mimi in the stores of Times Square. Things looked like they were going to get better. As she sat thinking, a strange feeling crept over her. It felt cold, and dark. It only lasted a moment, then a light flashed somewhere outside. She turned her head back to the window, but didn?t see anything. Then something else caught her attention. One of her duffle bags was glowing. ?What in the world?? Kari went over to it. She unzipped the pocket to find the remnants of TK?s Crest of Hope glowing a bright gold color. ?What could this mean?? Kari wondered. She decided to keep this to herself?for now.

Too cute. *whispers* I know what it's about!

Chapter 6: Light of Hope Kari drove along the interstate, the black van not far behind her. The steel mill was out of the city a good bit, and Kari was now passing the forest that was on the map. As she rounded a curve, there was the mill in front of her. It loomed like a forgotten castle over the foggy valley. The dark rust color was almost black in the evening twilight. It gave Kari a chill. It didn?t look of this world. The turn off was just ahead, and Kari steered her car into it. There was a gate, but it was open. It swung back and forth in the wind of the oncoming storm. She could hear the creaking noise it made as she drove past. The road approaching the mill was longer than Kari expected. The mill also covered a lot more real estate than it looked from the main road. Kari should have been scared. She would have any other time. Yet strangely, she was full of hope and confidence. She drove her car up to the base of the remnants of the blast furnace. It was the largest structure on the lot. Pipes and wires created a maze of webs above her. Roads and railroads created another maze of them on the ground. Where to start? This looked as good a place as any. Kari turned around. The van Ken and the swat team were in was back at the main road. They?d proceed in on foot. Kari reached into her pocket and clicked on the wire she was wearing. She should be hearing from Ken at any time now. She walked along the base of the massive furnace. A cat ran from one of the other buildings into an open door and vanished. Kari decided not to follow it. The wind was picking up, and the clouds getting thicker. It was going to rain soon. Kari could see the lightning in the distance. As she neared the end of the furnace, there was a section of building that was three stories high, and open on the sides. Kari peered up at it. ?Kari!? She nearly fell over in shock. ?Ken! You about gave me a heart attack!? She whispered forcefully. ?Sorry. Just letting you know we?re in place. Don?t talk anymore, lest he should suspect.? ?Okay,? Kari whispered. Things got quiet once more. Kari listened for any sign of a clue. She got more than she bargained for. A gasp, followed by some heavy breathing and shouting came from the second level of the open building. It sounded like TK yelling, and Davis coughing and gasping. She had to get up there. Kari looked at her watch. 6:45. She was still early. Maybe TK wouldn?t expect her. She looked around for a possible way up to the second level of the structure. She didn?t see anything. Suddenly she saw another cat. This one was white, and it went through the same door as the black one. Kari decided that this was her best chance. She ran after the white cat, hoping she could see it in the dark building. She was in luck. There was still enough light left outside to give a glow to the inside. Kari could see the white cat at the top of a set of stairs. Creeping up the stairs quietly, Kari tried to adjust her eyes. She had no idea what was around her, other then immediately in front of her. At the top of the stairs, a beam of light shined through a small window right onto the white cat. It sat, licking its paws. Kari arrived at the top, and leaned over to the cat. She stroked its head, and the cat began to purr. Then it suddenly ran off. It stopped about twenty feet away to see if Kari was following it. Kari took that as a hint. The cat led her through long, cold corridors of brick and steel until finally Kari could feel the breeze once again. She?d reached the open part of the furnace. A long trench lead from he vats that used to contain the molten steel. It led down the length of the building to open places in the floor where the slag was poured into railcars to be taken to the rolling mill. Kari followed the trench. Massive beams supported the roof. Kari was sure TK was going to jump out from behind one of them. She was extra cautious every time she passed one. Finally, on the third beam from the end, Kari heard something. She came around the beam to find Davis hanging over some chains, and blood coming from his mouth. He didn?t even realize Kari was there. ?Davis! What?d he do to you?! Oh, I have to get help for you?? Kari cried. ??Kari?you?get out of her,? Davis managed. ?Not a chance. I?m going to stay right here with you.? Kari took a cloth from her pocket and wiped his mouth. She tried to loosen the chains, but they were locked. ?TK?! Do you hear me?! You?re not going to get away with this!? Kari screamed. ??But I already have,? a cold voice said behind her. A pale hand grabbed Kari?s shoulder, and she instinctively grabbed it, and flung its owner to the floor. TK stood, and brushed himself off. ?I should have seen that one coming. You always were the strong type,? he mumbled. ?Let Davis go. I?m here. I?m what you want.? Kari pleaded. ?Correction. You were what I wanted. Now, I want you both!? TK lunged at Kari, but just as he reached her, the white cat leaped at him, and latched itself onto TK?s head. It hissed and screeched as TK fought with it. Finally, TK pulled it off his head, and held it, still clawing, away from him. Blood ran down his face from multiple wounds inflicted by the animal. ?Stupid pest!? TK yelled, and he threw it over the edge of the building. Kari gasped, and ran at TK. He was ready for her this time. Just as she got to him, TK grabbed her, and used her own velocity against her. Before she knew it, Kari was on the floor, much the same way she?d been when this all started. TK grinned evilly. ?This time, it?s different!? He scowled. Kari fought for all she was worth. It was no use. TK was stronger than she was. Davis was trying as hard as his broken body would let him to get free. Just as Kari thought there was nothing else she could do, the room filled with light. A beam of light shined in the exact spot where TK had thrown the white cat over the edge. It grew so bright that TK couldn?t stand it. He rolled off of Kari, and behind one of the beams to shield his eyes. Then he ran from the room. Kari looked up. She was nearly blinded. She tried to open her eyes to see where TK had gone, but couldn?t. As she turned back around, Kari saw something in the light. It was the outline of a woman. Kari gasped, ?Could it be?? Just as she said it, the light faded. Kari stood up, and kicked something metallic as she did. A key scraped across the floor. TK had dropped it in the struggle. Kari picked it up, and began to free Davis. ?Kari?? Ken yelled from the ground. ?Where are you? Are you alright?? Kari went to the edge once again. ?Did you get him? TK ran out!? ?We didn?t see anything!? Ken shouted back. ?What was that light?? ?I?never mind. Get up here and help me with Davis!? Kari kicked herself for letting TK get away. How could he have gotten past Ken?s team? She didn?t know. All that mattered now is that she got Davis the care he needed. The ambulance arrived, and soon they were on their way to the hospital. Then came another period of waiting. It wasn?t long, however, before a nurse came out to explain Davis?s condition. ?Your husband has some internal bleeding, and a few broken ribs. We need to operate to stop the bleeding?with your consent.? ?Yes of course. Is he going to be alright?? Kari pleaded. ?He?s lost a lot of blood, but I think he?ll make it. We need to get in there right away though.? ?Yes, absolutely.? Kari was a little relieved, anyway. ?Great. Now Tess over there will have some papers for you to sign and fill out while you wait. I?ll be out to fill you in as soon as we?re finished with the operation.? The nurse said, as she headed back to the double swinging doors. Kari went to the desk to begin her paperwork. She had gotten through most of it when the others arrived. Kari was glad they were there, and as soon as she was finished with the papers, she explained the whole thing. ?So what was the light, do you think?? Joe asked. ?I don?t know. But I could swear I saw a woman silhouetted in it.? Kari said. ?Who was it?? Mimi asked. ?I don?t know?but I could swear it must have been?? Just then the nurse walked back out. ?I have good news Mrs. Motymia. Your husband came through the operation just fine, and you can go and see him now.
