ALot of us talk about who we would like to meet and such, but given the chance, would you actually do it? If a member recognized you from a pic or something and introduced him/herself, would you be courteous or just freak out? I just bring this up, because internet meetings have bad name (but for a good reason).

Now, I'm sad (tear rolls down my cheek). I know that I don't have my own computer, but am I that forgetable? Anyway, I would like to meet BabyGirl, TN, James, Raquel, Raiha, Lady M...... On Thursday nights, the people at my school (Northern Illinois University) like to party. This was a particularly big weekend, because it signified the end of Finals Week. Yeah, I'm hungover, but that's not what this is about. For those of you who drink,[color=blue] have you ever done something while you were intoxicated that you regret?[/color] Lord knows I have (I'll tell you later).

I was thinking about this the other day. I wasn't really into it in high school (not counting the "old school" like voltron,etc). I used to watch sailor moon in the morning before I went to school(high school). Then I saw Armitage. And since then, I've been watching anime as much as I can (fourth year of college).

No, I liked the movie too. I actually enjoyed it more than I have the other recent bond movies. The whole not drinking thing is pretty lame though. But I'm a big sucker for[color=white]sword fighting[/color] and there was enough to keep me happy. I think that if they take something out, they should add something extra.

Openly laughing, Elise advances once more.[/i] Elise: Starting to figure it out? Good girl. You gave me all the time I needed. (she holds up her hand) See? All healed. Celest: (rising to her feet) What are you? Elise: All Necreens are hybrids. Part of me is descended from a line of Malerrisi in the south quadrant, they are known for their healing abilities. Celest: (in a soft voice) Just mean I'll have to kill you quickly. Elise: Try me. Celest: (with something almost feral in her eyes) I will.[/color]

Yeah (heck yeah)lol. Sorry about that. Anyways, I'm done with the first four episodes and I am desperately craving the rest. I might just go on ebay and look for some vcds or something. I've never wanted a series this bad before!

In my Integrated Marketing Communications(IMC)class, a group gave a presentation in which their commercial was flash animation and included chibi-sailor moon. One of the guys in the group sits in my row, so I asked him who did the flash. When he said that he did it, I asked him if he was into anime. He said yes and the next time I saw him, he gave me a disc with the first few episodes of X. Have you all seen it already? I love it!!!! It looks like this will be my favorite! What do you think of it?[/color]

Could someone tell me the plot of Chobits? Someone I know suggested it to me, but I don't know anything about it.

I'd lie to protect those that I love. A little white lie doesn't hurt anyone. Besides that, I like to stick to the truth. When you lie, it almost always leads to you telling other lies to support the original. Why start down that path if you don't have to?

I want my Seth back. Someone has bonded with him and I want him back. We used to be so happy....... (begins to apply more pressure to her grip)...... He should still be with me, not that other girl. Celest: (cringing from the pain) Then go find him! He's not here and I don't know where he is. Elise: Please. I know that he doesn't trust you. So I might as well have a little fun. You ever fought a Necreen? (she pushes Celest away). Celest: (barely catching herself) There is no reason for us to fight! [i]Elise completely ignores her and pulls her two short swords. She hold one upright and the other cross-handed. She assumes her fighting stance.[/i] Celest: You have no choice mind-reader. Either fight and try to live, or just stand there and die. [i]She rushes at Celest[/i][/color] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [color=blue][i]Seth walks down the corridor and his instinct leads him to the lab. He doesn't feel a human presence, but still feels the flooder. What he sees repulses him. It's the brain of the last flooder encased in some kind of clear casing.[/i] Seth: What in the hell? I wouldn't even have done this! This must be some kind of twisted research ship. (he takes a step towards the brain) Don't worry, I'll end your suffering. (he takes another step and is knocked back violently) Computer: Intruder in laboratory!!!! [i]The brain is lifted by a crane into the headpiece of some strange-looking robot. The Robot raises up and extends blades from its forearms. It runs straight for Seth.[/color][/i]

Homer: "hmmmm, pistol whip." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Burns: "this is a secretion from the pocket fox, a creature that existed for three weeks in the sixteenth century." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Marge: "We're not sending him to some snobby school!" Captain: "arrrgh. Then, do you have any spare change?"

I don't mind watching subs at all, but some good points were mentioned earlier. It's kinda nice to be able to talk to someone else in the room and not miss the dialog of what you're watching. And like James said, I get really sick of people downing someone who watches dubs. Oh, and "Americanize this" and "Americanize that" needs to stop too. If it's possible to convert the language while keeping the plot the same, do it. I'm a Marketing major, and we always talk about how the message has to be changed somewhat for it to be understood. The cultures are completely opposite, deal with it. Or don't. Either way quit crying.

Yeah, I'd love to be a part of this, but I have no idea where I can rent anime. If I did, I would have been doing it for years.

I, for one, do think that it is over-rated.

I enjoyed the break, because I've been burnt out for a few weeks now(college will do that to you sometimes). As for the actually day, it was alright. I ate way too much, and will pay for it in the gym later. A certain family member of mine was acting a little too rowdy, so I just sat in the other room and watched the trick shot competition on espn2. I would have rather just ate and left.

[color=blue][i]Rae stumbles into the room and begins again to help Siren past the pain. Seth does not follow. He knows that him even being in the vicinity of them will just increase the backlash. Besides that, there were two things that he knew. One, If Siren went into this "rage", there would be no way he could protect Rae and that he himself would probably die trying to stop Siren. He didn't really need that kinda situation on his hands. Next, the little energy he himself had kept from the flooder, told him that his Necreen mission was almost complete. There was only one flooder left in existance, and for some reason he was here. Seth couldn't use his abilities with the near-psycho being down the hall, so he opened himself up, and began walking down the corridor waiting for the flooder to sense him.[/i][/color]

[color=blue]Seth: You need to take it easy for a day. The flooder energy I gave you you will speed up the healing, but you still need at least some rest. Rae: Later. We need to go to Siren! She's dying! I can feel it! Seth: (thinking she's delirious) Okay. Let's go. [i]With shakey legs Rae stumbles, but is held up by Seth. He picks her up and starts to carry her toward the teleport pad. She would normally protest, but she know that she is too weak to walk the distance on her own. Instead, she clutches on to him and seeks solace in his arms.[/i] Seth: (reaching the pad) Where are we going?[/color]

I don't want them to make a sequel to FFVII. It was a good game, but adding a sequel will definitely take away from the original. Plus, as crappy as I thought the ending was, I still believe that the game still came to a final-enough end. Why screw around with it? I am anxiously awaiting the sequel to FFX, because ended such thata sequel would perfectly complement the game. This not being the case with FFVII, they should just leave it alone!

[color=blue]What are some of the things that you want to do before you check out? I want to write a fantasy novel, sell at least one of my songs, earn an award for one of the commercials I make, and see my children excel at something in which I have no talent.[/color]

Yeah, things would be different. I like the fact that I can come here and talk anime and stuff with other people and not get a puzzled look. It's an added bonus that I can talk about anything else here as well. Now if only I could meet a cute girl who likes anime........
