There is no need to feel like you've sold yourself out. What you're doing right now is assessing your short term priorities. It doesn't mean that you can't follow your dreams later on. This job is only a stepping stone to your other goals in life. Be happy you still know what your dreams are. :) Lots A Luv

Yeah, I've seen Primal Fear, although it was a while back. It was a great movie. I love it when a movie makes you think like you've totally figured it out...then they drop a killer of an ending that just surprises the crap out of you. It seems Edward Norton is always brilliant when he plays psycho characters (eg: Fight Club) and Richard Gere is always great of course.

Breaking Up: Advice Needed Desperately! (please read)

I'm really sorry this happened to you. Love can be dangerously blind sometimes...i'm very much relieved that you're no longer in danger. I can't imagine how it must have felt for you. You're truly a beautiful and interesting person....It would be a real shame if you let a low-life scum without a soul, ruin the confidence and belief that you have in yourself. I hope the divorce goes quickly and you get everything you want out of it. Make sure your lawyer is a ruthless one;). They're the best kind. It's great to know that you'll be getting on with your life now. I think now is the time to be around family and friends and eventually, when you're ready you will find that special person who will treat you like gold. Good luck with everything Lots a Luv -
Hardest thing I ever did is come to terms with one of the main causes of my depression, buy discussing a horrible past with my family, something which my mum and dad thought I had forgotten. This was a few years back.

Valentine's Day has always been just another day for me, whether I get anything or not. I really don't care much for secret admirers (who choose to remain secret)...and I believe that if you're with someone, Valentine should be 365/366 days a year...if you get what I mean.

Musically speaking, I'd say Michael Jackson is a genius in my opinion. I absolutely love and respect his extrodinary talent, his music and his dancing. However, given his childhood abuse and traumas that were discussed in the documentary, I can understand why he grew up to be so child-like and eccentric. His home Neverland is a perfect example of that. He never had a normal childhood and it seems like he wants it now and having children around him can give him that feeling. It is a little strange how they sleep in his room sometimes, but I doubt he'd ever do them any harm. I don't care about his face or what cosmetic/plastic surgery he's had. Trust it, he does look strange but it's his face. He seems devoted to his children and I don't blame him for covering them up like that, but I don't like how he dangled his baby off the balcony. That was just wrong. All in all I kinda tend to feel sorry for him. He can't go anywhere without being mobbed and I can't imagine how that must feel.

Your friend sounds either like a self-centred, disrespectful drama queen, or she could have PMS. Either way just ignore her and do your own thing. Soon enough, she'll realise you don't give a crap about her mood swings and she'll go back to normal. Personally I would demand an apology.:)

Although age differences isn't a big issue for me, I wouldn't really date a guy who's more than 3 years younger than me, considering the age that i'm at now. However, I wouldn't mind dating someone who was like 10 years older than me or something. It all just depends on the person really...their personality and character

I never wanted to work in places like McDonalds or Hungry Jacks or anything...Arghh...Anyway, my first job was a medical receptionist at a Specialist Medical Centre

I would choose the baby without a second thought. It seems the grandmother has had a great life and nature will take its course eventually. If the teenager tried their hardest without a tutor, then they didn't try hard enough, and it will be their own choice...but a baby must be given the chance at life. It's not even a question!

I had friends like that a while back. In the end I just lost interest in both of them and a couple of their other friends and did my own thing Now i'm not saying you should do that, but you should set them both straight...let them know you're not going to put up with their B/S. If they're not willing to make an effort to get along, then they should at least show some courtesy to each other and to you, when the 3 of you are together. You need to let them know that...and if they don't listen, it kinda shows their lack of consideration towards you. If all else fails just hang with them seperately.:therock:

It's really great that your relationship ended on good terms. When you share a special bond with someone, even for a little while they leave their mark on your life..Then they go and you move on, knowing that you've gained something from the experience (whatever it may be).

Numerous people have told me I look very much like Jessica Alba. I can't see it but apparently everyone else can...Now if only I was as tall as her...oh well:rolleyes:
Originally posted by Domon Nope, never. Never in a million years would i get a tattoo. Not only would it hurt like hell but you also run the risk of getting Hepititus C, even from CLEAN needles. So my answer is never would i get a tattoo.
True...it does hurt...mine did. It just depends on where you get it. It took me a short while to find a tatoo parlor that had high hygiene standards and sterile equipment and unused needles. Most should have, but I tend to get a little paranoid about that kind of stuff...

Tattoos can be quite nice...I have a tatoo...but you can only see it if I wear a bikini or really low hipsters...It's of a little pixie/faerie (black ink) and i've been wanting it for such a long time and I don't regret doing it. I'm not sure if I will get another one. If i do, it will be something that would be of significance to me...I'm not one to get something permanently imprinted on my body just to look cool or for some other stupid reason. Hehehehe... my sister has my name tatooed on her arm...isn't sisterly love great

If the situation came down to that and there was no other, then yes I would sacrifice myself for someone I loved, definitely. I wouldn't be able to live with myself, knowing that I could have prevented their death.

Well I lot of my friends say I'm generally wierd...I think they use the word 'freak' also: *I write with both hands, but i'm generally left-handed *Sometimes i'd be sitting next to my friends and I'd turn to one and i'd have this smile on my face and a psychotic look in my eyes...it freaks them out when they look at me and sometimes they start getting nervous...it's bloody halarious.:D *I can have a person who's been crying laughing their heads off 5 minutes later. *I have fallen over a million times from various heights and have walked off with just a scratch (knock on wood) Yep...I am a freak. -
If he gave you his phone number, then you might as well make use of it. No use letting it go to waste...the worst thing he could do is say no...but what if he says yes....If you don't call, you'll never know...

I've had this experience I guess...probably back in college cause I quite popular with a lot of people until I became selective of who I hung out with...some girls got a little jealous cause I was also mates with the guys aswell, and proceeded to say those little snide remarks as I walked by....But I didn't give a damn what they thought or said about me or to who even...I believe in myself and I can never be bothered by the pettiness of insignificant people.

Although, I loved watching Gambit and Rogue, I'd have to say my favourite character in it's time was the Dark pheonix. Although it was a part of Jean Grey, it wasn't really a part of the X-Men...just an entity on it's own. However, in the X-Men Evolution series, i'm going to say my favourite character now is Wolverine, cause he reminds me of the old X-Men series and also Beast.

That's quite disturbing...We can always ask ourselves how a mother could do this to her own little child? It's incomprehensible how someone could be so brutal. Unfortunately this kind of thing probably happens everyday and everywhere. It's very upsetting and makes you very angry at how cruel these kind of people are, even if they seem wonderful on the surface. Sadly some of do get away with it, either by claiming temporary insanity, post natal syndrome or it never gets recognised. That's just wrong The woman should be jailed for life. If she gets beaten in prison, all the better. She deserves whatever cruelty is inflicted upon her.

I must say, I do agree with the death penalty to an extent. Serial killers, serial rapists, murderers who were in there right mind and fully aware of what they were doing, etc...They definitely should deserve the death penalty. However, I don't believe in the 'eye for an eye, life for a life' thing. Each case is individual and it all depends on the circumstances.

I love Paintball. It's great fun...extremely painful...but great fun:D I must admit I don't play often, otherwise I'd have constant bruising, but whenever I have the money to throw away....sure, i'm there...

What you are does not change who you are. Your still the same person as always and it's good to know that you've had the courage to let your parents know. Don't worry, they will accept this and I highly doubt they'll think of you differently. Be happy with yourself...It's all good:)
