Abob leaves the potions classroom and walks slowly down the hall towards the stairway that lead up to the defense against the dark arts classroom. He couldn't wait for lunch, which was when he was going to be able to go to Herbology. Professor Sprout had given him a "punishment" last week, he now would have to help our with a first year Hufflepuff class. It would be so much fun to scare them with the venomous tentacula, the oldest and most foul tempered of all the plants. Or maybe forget to give them earmuffs while they repotted mandrakes. School could be so much fun...

Abob runs through the forest towards the spot where he had seen the trolls last. He had to get to them soon, because this shrinking potion, although extremely valuable, was only temporary. He saw some movement to his left, and took a swing at the bush from which the movement had come. A troll the size of a gnome fell out of the bush it two pieces. Abob smiled and slowed down, listening closely for any sounds of movement. There were only three Trolls left. He stepped over a fallen log, and snapped a twig on the ground. Suddenly he saw a small figure running madly out of the forest. Abob notched his bow and fired, sending an arrow straight through the miniature trolls head. Abob sits down on the log and begins to watch the woods around him. They have to be here somewhere, they can't run very fast or far in their current state. Suddenly he feels a piercing pain in his lower leg as a miniature set of teeth bite down on his leg. Abob gasps in pain and pries his opponent from his leg. Then he proceeds to strangle it. It gasps for air and struggles madly, but finally dies. Abob drops it, and then begins to look for the last one. He hears a noise behind him and turns to find the corpse growing. The potion was wearing off. He needed to find the last one fast. He noticed something behind a tree, as tall as a teenage child, and rapidly growing. Abob charges forward and cleaves off its head. He steps back looking satisfied as giant corpses begins to take shape all around him. Then he begins to run back to assist the rest of the fellowship...

Abob sits at his desk, taking notes as Professor Jarlith rambles on about poisons and antidotes. This was his favorite subject. He spent a lot of his spare time reading potion brewing books and copying down recipes into his notebook. He was so far ahead of this class that he didn't pay attention in class, let alone study for tests. This stuff was basic, and he had already brewed many potions and antidotes. He had just begun to daydream about herbology, which he would have later. Professor Sprout had been at the school so long that she was nearly deaf, and wasn?t up to keeping tabs on all her students. That gave Abob ample opportunities to "borrow" exotic plants and herbs for his potions. Today they were working with mandrakes, and he planned on stealing one or two. They could make a potent anti-petrification potion, which could come in handy. Professor Jarlith: "This particular anti-venom was developed in the eighteenth century be Sachus the Splendid. Abob, are you paying attention?" Abob: "What?" Professor Jarlith: "Abob, you should pay attention in class. If you don?t you will definitely fail our test tomorrow." Abob: "Professor, I have top marks in this class. I will do fine on the test." Professor Jarlith: "Fine. Do you know how much xenthondell to add to a burn healing potion? Or how many doses of anti-shock potion to give to a werewolf attack victim? Or who invented the delayed action love potion?" Abob: "Three spoonfuls. Five. Magio the ugly." Professor Jarlith: " Er, well class, let's get on with our lesson?" Abob sits back in his chair and smirks.

Voldemort and his few faithful followers advance down Diagon Alley, destroying shops and killing pedestrians left and right. They had almost reached their goal, and had only met token resistance so far. He laughs insanely as he sends a giant fireball hurtling down the street, sending several running witches scrambling for cover. It had been a brilliant idea of his to put a powerful spell on the alley that would stop wizards from apperating in or out. Unfortunately it wouldn?t last for long with the ministry of magic up there performing counter curses. He could hear them flying overhead on their broomsticks, trying to break through the invisible barrier that prevented them from reaching the alley. Voldemort stops in front of a particularly old shop, and blows the door up with a flick of his wand. He bursts inside, and begins to shoot destructive spells in every direction. He hadn?t had this much fun since his very first outing with the Death Eaters. That was when he had first met Alex that fool. Almost as bad as Dumbledore, and incorruptible. A pity too as he would have made an excellent Death Eater. Malfoy: "Master, the wands have been destroyed, there won't be, many new wizards attending that stupid school next year without wands?" Voldemort: "Excellent, now gather round the portkey." He pulls a black disk from his robes and each Death Eater takes hold of it. Then they are gone in a flash of white light?

Abob and Lalaith continue towards the lower levels of the enormous city-planet, hoping not to run into any more trouble. They take a series of ancient turbolifts down to the lower levels, where none of the government law enforcers or law abiding citizen dare go. From there they climb down ladders and walk cautiously across ancient turbolift platforms until they finally reach the surface of Coruscant. It was pitch black, and Abob has to use the force to see anything. Lalaith: "[Master, something doesn?t feel right.] Abob: "[I know. I've felt this presence before, a long time ago. If we encounter it, I want you to leave immediately. Your life will be in danger. Do you understand?]" Lalaith: "[Yes master.]" The surface of the planet is covered in rubble of ancient buildings, speeders and the decaying remains of dead scavenger animals that inhabit these lightless regions. Abob and Lalaith walk slowly forward, using the force to silently move the rubble aside. They had to stay very quiet, there were creatures down here that made blood crazed rancor's look like cute pets. Only the desperate or the stupid came down here, reason or not. ???: "[Abob, we're over here. Towards your left, and under the large metal fragment.]" Abob: "[Should have known you'd be here Jarlith. After all, the Sith do seem to pop up in the most disgusting places.]" Jarlith: "[At least we don?t let ourselves be bossed around by a moisture farmer.]" Abob: "[Skywalker isn?t my master any longer. I work for the good of the galaxy.] Abob and Lalaith come into sight of the huge, twisted metal fragment, and see a figure dressed in black robe standing under it. The figure seems to know they have arrived, despite the darkness, and ignites a crimson lightsaber. Then he begins to advance on them, his lightsaber held in an attack position. Abob: "[Lalaith, go.]" Lalaith: "[But master, I can-]" Abob: "[Go now.]" Lalaith sighs and begins to jog away towards the exit to the underground. Abob ignites his lightsaber and charges at his opponent?

Abob and Lalaith land on Coruscant, where they immediately head for the lower levels of the planet. Abob pulls his hood over his face, he has seen the posters of himself and Lalaith posted outside every Justice Department building. Wanted: Abob Ttef and Lalaith Ril Reward: 5000 credits Crime: Classified by request of Luke Skywalker Return targets to: Jedi Temple It wasn't a large bounty as far as bounties for Jedi went, but they were on Coruscant. There were so many petty criminals looking to make it big here that he had doubted they would get this far without a fight. ???: "Doonta moovsa Jeedi! Meesa gotcha cooverd reel goodsa. Put your handsa upsa niice and slow." Abob rolls his eyes and puts his hands up as his attacker walks in front of him. A gang of Gungans, holding blaster antique blaster pistols were trying to capture two Jedi. Gugans weren't made to be hunters; they were just too darn stupid and funny to be taken seriously. He waves his hand through the air in front of their faces, which causes them to lower their weapons and look at him with blank stares. Abob: "You will all leave me alone and go home, where you will forget you saw me." Gungan Gang: "Meesa will go homee and levae yousa alone. Meesa will forget meesa saw yousa." Abob: "You will also disband this gang and get legal jobs." Gungan Gang: "Meesa will disbandee dis gang and get leegal job." Abob motions to Lalaith to follow him and the two Jedi walk out of the alley, barely able to contain their laughter...

If you could stand on a cloud high above London and look down on the wizarding parts of the city, you would instantly notice that there was one enclave of magic that was far larger than the rest. It is rectangular in shape, and has many entrances. The area seems to be divided in half, the first half being brightly lit and filled with shoppers. The other half is barely lit at all and sparsely populated, for good reason. Only the daring or stupid enter Nocturn Alley without good reason... Voldemort stands inside a small abandoned store in Nocturn alley, barely fifty meters from Gringotts Wizarding Bank. He is surrounded by a circle of Death Eaters, all of whom are much more nervous than usual. Voldemort: "It has come to my attention that a large portion of you, my most faithful followers, has recently begun to question their loyalty to me. Apparently they lost their ambition and their minds to the lies of the Ministry while I was in exile. I have decided it is time to clear out the deadwood." Several of the black robed figures try to run, and another draws his wand. But Voldemort hasn't become the most powerful dark wizard of his time by sheer luck. Before any of the cowards can get away he draws his wand and shouts an incantation. Voldemort: "Avada Kadavra multi-strikus!" Green lances of light fly from Voldemort's wand and strike the unfaithful servants, killing them instantly. Then Voldemort transfigures their lifeless bodies into cockroaches, which he promptly crushes. Voldemort: "The remaining four of you have proven your worth to me. McNair, Malfoy, Crabb and Goyle. My true followers, lets go destroy the haven of the fools." The five black robed figures walk out of the building and into Diagon Alley, destroying all in sight...

Abob and Lalaith come out of hyperspace at the edge of an asteroid field in the Hoth system. Directly in front of them is a Corellian Blockade runner that has been modified to support two heavy turbolasers and four anti-starfighter turrets. Abob: "[Lalaith our contact might try to pull something on us so be alert. Also, don?t be intimidated by his ship, I know for a fact that none of the heavy turbolasers work and two of the anti-starfighter turrets are severely damaged.]" Lalaith: "[He must have his power supply rigged in a feedback loop so that our sensors read the weapons are operational.]" Abob: '[Exactly, now let's dock.]" The two fighter craft attach themselves too empty escape pod launchers, then power down as their owners depart their craft. Abob climbs out of his ship and punches a button on the outside of the door, causing it to open with a groaning noise. He walks out into a long semicircular hallway. By them looks of it the corridor had once been painted white, but now it was covered in trash and excretions from hundreds of Vong light bugs that covered the ceiling. He walked about ten meters right and met up with Lalaith, and then they proceeded quietly towards the cockpit. ???: "Hold it right there! What's the password?" Abob: "May the force be with you." a Bothan with filthy fur steps out of the shadows, his blaster pistol drawn. ???: "Nice to see you again Abob. Looks like the council finally entrusted you with a youngling." Abob: "Haskil, where it the information you said that you have?" Haskil: "This way." They follow Haskil into the cockpit and gather around an ancient hologram generator. Haskil hits a switch and it projects a map of the galaxy, except this galaxy goes beyond the outer rim. It shows a large cluster of planets one hundred eighty thousand light years from the outer rim, and they are labeled "Vong Space". Haskil: "There you have it, the Vong home system." Abob: "Thank you Haskil, this information will be most valuable." Haskil: "My reward?" Abob: "Yes, you have been given a pardon for all your crimes. I cleared it myself from the Temple database." Haskil: "Excellent." Abob and Lalaith leave the ship, and fly off back to Coruscant?

Abob and Lalaith enter high orbit around Coruscant, then jump into hyperspace just as Kwaz enters orbit. Abob smiles as a tunnel of elongated stars surrounds his ship as it enters hyperspace. Nothing in the galaxy could track a ship in hyperspace. He had heard of tracking devices that were attached to ships that would transmit coordinates once a ship came out of hyperspace, but he was sure nobody had placed anything on his ship. He had spent three standard months putting the starfighter together, examining each and every part for defects and tracing/tracking devices. He had found several of both. Abob had also customized his starfighter by hardwiring the R-6 unit into the mainframe and removing all parts unnecessary for spaceship operations. The final modification to his ship was a special holonet connection that hooked up to one other source, and one only. It was for secure conversations between himself and Lalaith while they were in hyperspace. If tampered with it is programmed to self destruct, which gave Abob peace of mind and a sense of security while he discussed sensitive matters with his padawan. Suddenly there was a jolt and Abob was thrown against his safety harness. He looked up and out the veiwport to find a Yuuzan Vong interdictor ship. He used the force to flip on his shields and began to charge his lasers. Suddenly he realized that they weren?t being attacked. Abob *using the force to reach out and talk to Lalaith*: ["They are attacking a refuge ship, it looks like an ambush."] Lalaith: ["What can we do?"] Abob: ["I'll drop a distress buoy, but that?s all we can do since we are outnumbered. Reset your course heading and initiate hyperspace transport on my mark. 3?2?1?Mark"] The two starfighters reenter hyperspace and continue towards their destination?

Abob: "You believe in a Laporin afterlife?" Tarlain: "It's not an afterlife, it kind of like... I can't really describe it." Abob: "Whatever just make sure it doesn't interfere with out mission." Tarlain: "Do you always have to be so to the point?" They continue to walk down the hallway in silence, and they only resume talking when they reach the secondary docking bay. Dooku: "Welcome, I hope you're all well. The freighter you're going to be flying is a standard model, no modifications as they would attract undue attention. The piloting systems are functioning perfectly and whichever one of you is flying should have no problem after a few simulated runs. I will be showing the other three of you which decide not to fly the ship how to activate and control the droidekas. They are quite touchy I'm afraid. So, who wants to fly the ship?" Kain shakes his head no, and Tarlain looks at Abob. Tarlain: "You fly, I'm not as good of a pilot as either you or Kain, but I don't want to entrust my life to him." Abob: "I'll fly Dooku." Dooku: "Very well, Abob this battle droid will escort you can go to the far side of the hangar where the simulator is. The rest of you can follow me."

Abob walked out of the great hall after breakfast and headed down to the potions dungeon. He had to find out what was had happened last night. He knew several ways he could accomplish this task, most of them were stowed away in a secret compartment in his trunk. He could use some pollyjuice potion to turn himself into Percy, that idiot professor. Or perhaps a little truth potion in some of the witnesses drinks. But the best plan of all would to sneak into the Gryffindor common room and find out what was going on. He had put a spell on one of the first year boys so that the boy would tell him the passwords each week, and conveniently forget he had done so. Abob smiled as he walked into the potions classroom, to find it empty except for Professor Jarlith, who was sitting at his desk reading the Daily Prophet. Abob: "Hello professor, I have been hearing rumors about some unusual happenings on the grounds last night. Could you tell me what happened?" Professor Jarlith: "Sorry my boy, the headmaster told all the staff to keep it a secret. Might frighten the younger students." Abob: "Oh, ok. Wouldn't want that to happen " He sits down at a desk and waits for the rest of the class to arrive...

Abob is halfway up the ladder when he hears the sound of footsteps approaching the manhole. He quickly lets go of the ladder and falls three meters to the stone floor of the sewer, landing catlike so as not to make any noise. Then he walks over to Lalaith and pours what little water he has left in his canteen over his friends head. Lalaith's eyes open and his hand searches for his weapon. Lalaith: "What's going on? Wher-" Abob: "Shhh, I dragged you into the sewers and the Krauts are coming. Take my rifle. Can you walk?" Lalaith: "I'm fine, only a nasty headache." Abob: "Good, go to the end of this pipe, and then take cover at the corner. I'll set up a grenade here so that when the Krauts come down the ladder, you shoot the pin." Lalaith: "Ok." Lalaith runs off to the end of the filthy pipe and Abob places the grenade, just as the manhole cover lifts. Kraut: "Com uut Amrican! We vill keel yuu ef yu stay!" Abob begins to run, and the Germans begin to pour machine gun fire down the manhole. One bullet hits Abob in the left leg, but he keeps running, ignoring the head-splitting pain. Then there is a huge explosion as one of the German bullets hits the grenade pin and kills the Krauts. Lalaith: "Abob, are you alright?"

Abob takes a step back, causing an Orc who had been about to stick his sword through Abob's side to trip over one of his dead comrades. Abob raises his long knife and plunges it into the back of his opponent's skull. Then he withdraws his sword and begins to move to the left side of the fellowship, fighting as he runs. He chances a quick glance at Lalaith, who is at the center of the fellowship line, fighting an Orc chieftain. Abob knew that staying here longer would be suicide, but any one of them leaving would be a blow to Lalaith's leadership that his friend could never recover from. He reached the left end of the fellowship's line and reached deep into his potion bag. He remembered a gift he had been given shortly before his first quest, a temporary shrinking potion. He withdrew several vials of the potion and tied each one to an arrow. He notched his bow and fired again and again, finally hitting the last Troll. He then began to run into the forest towards where the trolls had been. He needed to finish them off fast otherwise they would resume their normal size n a few minutes...

Abob notched his bow and began to fire arrows all around Lalaith. Orcs fell to the ground, killed by Abob's arrows or Lalaith's sword. Then the other members of the fellowship joined the fray, drawing their swords and forming a line. They fought off their opponents with great skill, and soon the bodies were piling up. Orcs were stumbling through masses of their dead and dying comrades, who were grabbing anyone in reach to plead for help. This slowed down the enemy army immensely, making the battle into a slaughter. Lalaith charged back and fourth in front of the line, filling in where needed and using his sword to dispatch any Orcs which came into his area of the battlefield. About twenty minutes into the fighting, just as the fellowship was beginning to tire, the ground began to shake with giant footsteps. Abob looks up and sees several trolls advancing from the left. Strider: "Look out!" Abob shifts his attention to Strider, to find his friend pointing to their right flank. Several dozen Orcs riding wolves were rapidly approaching. Abob: "Lalaith, we have to get out of here!"

Voldemort stood in the great forest, a look of utter disgust on his pale face. Voldemort: "Wormtail, you blundering fool! You neglected to give the boy the second page of his letter! That prevented him from finding us in the forest promptly. You need to pay attention to my instructions, or else I will have to find a new assistant." Wormtail: "The second page must have fallen out somewhere along the way master. I will find it! I promise I will not let anybody find out about our master plan, or fail you again! I am so sorry!" Wormtail throws himself at his master's feet, whimpering. Voldemort: "Accio Lettera!" There is a rustling sound, and a piece of dirty paper comes flying though the trees and lands at Voldemort's feet. He shoots a small ball of fire from his wand at the paper, which burns quickly." Voldemort: "Don't fail me again Wormtail. Brock and my other young friend will soon be my equals. Together our triad will conquer the world and force the muggle into submission. It is our destiny..." Wormtail: "Is that all? Am I free to go?" Voldemort: "Yes, but first I want you to call the other Death Eaters to Nocturn Alley tonight. It is time for the second wave of attacks..."

From what I have read on the Star Wars Galaxies official homepage, it seems you must buy the computer game to play it online, but you can also play it one player on your own PC. I have seen posters in several stores which promote preordering, but I plan to buy it when the price comes down. So what if I am not one of "the first". I can still register online with a decent user name right after it comes out... :naughty:

DigiFan, I would be glad to help you. PM me if you want any ideas, possible plot twists, etc... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Abob was halfway to the hangar when he stopped running and looked over to Kawz. Abob: "Myrkr isn't a good place for us to go. The force doesn't work there because of a unique ability of one of the native species. I think I will go somewhere else." Kwaz: "But Master Skywalker said w-" Abob raises his green scaled hand and waves it in front of Kwaz's face. Abob: "You want to go to Myrkr by yourself, and we can go somewhere else." Kwaz: "I want to go to Myrkr by my s- Hey! You just used a mind tri-" Abob snaps his fingers and Lalaith draws a blaster pistol from his robes. Kwaz ignites his lightsaber, but Lalaith fires a stun beam into this opponent. Kwaz looks at Abob with a hurt and puzzled expression, the sinks into unconsciousness. Abob: "Let's go." Lalaith: "Was that really necessary?" Abob: "If the information my Peace Brigade contact has found turns out to be authentic, then this will be worth it." Lalaith: "I hope you know what you're doing." Abob: "I know, you question my hasty actions. But if this effort fails, you can claim I was controlling you through the force." Lalaith: "That won't be necessary, if you are exiled, I will go with you." Abob: "Thank you." They climb into their starfighters and take off for Hoth...

Abob awoke early the next morning as he always did, and took a warm shower. He had a very easy course schedule today, Potions, Defense Against the Darks Arts and Divination in the morning. After lunch he had a double period of Transfiguration and arithmancy. He finished his shower and dressed in his black Slytherin robes, then walked down into the common room. He could tell before he even got there that something was wrong. People were up already, he was normally one of the first awake. He walked into the common room to find a quarter of Slytherin house talking to their friends in hushed voices. He was only able to catch snippets of their conversations. "Sean says there was a monster on the grounds last night and..." "That girl who was expelled for the time spell, she was let back in. Can you believe it?" "Pansy says she saw someone riding a flying horse on the grounds last night. What a liar." Abob frowned, something unusual had happened last night, he would have to find out what was going on...

Abob and Tarlain retire to the Idiot's Array, and awake the next morning to the sound of thousands of marching feet. Abob: "What in the galaxy?!" Tarlain: "They're probably loading droids. What time is it?" Abob: "Two hours before the freighter launch." Tarlain: "Dooku must be counting on our success if he is already loading droids for the capture of the planet." Abob: "I would be concerned if he wasn't counting on our success, after all, three million credits is an awful lot to waste..." Abob walks back into his stateroom and begins to prepare for the upcoming mission. He places his sniper rifle in a storage locker under his bunk, and then pulls a locked rifle case from the locker before closing it. He lets the electronic lock take a DNA sample and scan his eye before speaking one password and typing another into a miniature keypad. Finally the case pops open to reveal a long, thin rifle coated in a diamond/boron casing. He slings the rifle over his shoulder and then pulls another weapon from under the rifle. The second weapon is a blaster pistol, with a very effective stun setting. He closes up the rifle case and walks back out into the cockpit to find that Tarlain has left. He climbs down the open hatch and out onto the cold metal floor of the docking bay. On the far side of the bay a landing craft is being loaded. Thousands of super battle droids march into light personnel carriers, and the full personnel carriers queue up to enter the cavernous mouth of the landing craft. Abob spots Tarlain and Kain standing near the entrance to the docking bay, watching the loading with amusement. Abob approaches them. Abob: "What did I miss?" Tarlain: "Only incoherent mutterings of a mad force wielder." Abob: "Darn. Could you repeat whatever you said Kain?" Kain fixes Tarlain and Abob with an ice cold stare, then speaks in a flat, dangerous monotone voice. Kain: "I came here to tell you two that we are ready to board the freighter for instruction in how to fly it onto the planet. Once that's done it will be time to depart." Abob: "Then let's go." They foursome walk silently towards the secondary docking bay...

Abob jumps out of the window and runs across the street to help his friend. As soon as he is halfway across the street, the tanks begin shifting their large gun barrels towards him, intent on killing two birds with one stone. Abob Grabs Rev and hoists him over his shoulder. He looks around and finds that all the other buildings in the area have been destroyed and provide no cover. He can't go back to the house that John and Tom are in because then all four of them would be in danger. The tank barrels were nearly on him, he needed to think fast. Suddenly an idea burst upon him. He ran up the street a few meters and pried open the manhole. He quickly began to climb down the ladder as a tank shell soared over his head and down the street. He reached the bottom of the ladder and sat Rev against one of the walls, then climbed back up to close the manhole...
