He uses style two, which he learned from a holocron. Description: Abob is reptilian humanoid who has green skin and stands 1.6 meters tall. He wears his hair in the traditional fallen style, a single topknot. Abob wears regular tan robes and a black utility belt.
 3. Star Wars: The Battle of Ruusan It is 1000 years before the Battle of Yavin. The Sith and The Jedi are engaged in a titanic battle on the planet Ruusan, the outcome of which will decide the fate of the galaxy. The Jedi are led by a Powerful Jedi Master named Lord Hoth. The Jedi have taken a beating, and are recruiting force sensitive individuals and pressing them into battle to make up for their horrific losses. They are in dire straights, and must hold out until a transport of Jedi reinforcements arrives from Courscant. The Sith are lead by a Sith Lord named Kaan. He is not a very powerful sith, but is a brilliant tactician. He is defeating the Jedi so far and needs to finish them off before their reinforcements arrive. His rival among the Sith is an extremely powerful warrior, Darth Bane. Bane is a master of the dark side and feels that the Sith shouldn?t fight the Jedi in ground engagements. He wants the Sith to combine their powers and create a firestorm that will destroy the remaining Jedi. You can be a Jedi, a Sith, a bounty hunter (recruited by the Sith), or part of the Jedi army (non force sensitive). This is what you need to sign up: Name: Age: Species: Weapons: Force Powers (ignore this if you are in the Jedi army or are a bounty hunter): Vehicles (no spaceships as this battle is on a planet): Bio: Description: Other: Note: NONE of the characters from any of the movies are alive, not even Yoda. However you may be one of the main characters (Lord Hoth, Darth Bane or Kaan).

Your right, Command Decision is in and Adventure Journal.
Sounds like a good place to start looking. I'll take another look today and let you know if I find anything.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo I will find the maps for you, if you have AIM you can contact me at LoveHina4Life, and I will give the URL there, or I will PM you them.
Mitth'raw'nuruodo, you're on my AIM buddy list. Feel free to contact me any time.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo From the Unoffical Encyclopedia at Theforce.net: Wild Space the true frontier of the known galaxy, Wild Space separates the known galaxy from the Unknown Regions. The planets of this region are virtually ignored by the rest of galaxy, since they are so distant from the Core. But with the NJO map, Wild Space is on the entire other side of the Galaxy, and is only a small section. Now from what I am getting from that entry.....it is more than a small part, but more like a large part that seperates the known galaxy from the Unknown Regions.
I took a look at my latest NJO novel, and found your statement to be accurate. However, since this encyclopedia is "unofficial", even though I would be willing to trust it more than other sites, I can totally trust it.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo And this is what the Heir to the Empire sourcebook says about Wild Space: Wild Space is today's true frontier Now in my mind, that again says that Wild Space is more than just the small chunk of the galaxy that the NJO map gives it.
The reason Wild space is portrayed as a small chunk of the galaxy is that unlike mapmakers of old, the people who drew this map didn?t show more of wild space than had been already explored.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo And could you tell me where the NJO map has been used 2 years before the NJO books came out? Really would like to see that.
My large map of the galaxy, while not in a swirl shape as the NJO map is in, was copyrighted in 1998. Didn?t the NJO come out in 2000? I'm not sure? Anyway, these maps are identical in their portrayal of wild space and the unknown regions. On a closing note, I am beginning to greatly enjoy these debates we are having. I must make time to spar with you some time.

 7.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo Nirauan is supposed to be on the edges of Wild Space and the Unknown Regions(said somewhere in the HoT Duology). Now if you look at the NJO map, Wild Space is on the FAR side of the NJO map, so they just place Nirauan in the Unknow Regions by the Imperial Remnant. Big mistake right there. In the short story Command Decision by Zahn, it says the Star Destroyer they are on, has just left Wild Space and entered the Unknown Regions. Another mistake right there.
I looked all through Vision of the Future and Specter of the Past, but couldn?t find any reference to Wild space or the unknown regions. Could you give me the pertinent page numbers? As for the information found in Command Decision, I can't seem to find the story anywhere. Where was it published? For some reason I think it was published in the Star Wars Adventure Journal, but I doubt I am right?
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo And if I remember correctly from The Empire Strikes Back, after the whole Hoth thingy and what not, Han says that whole thing about Lando and how he's on Bespin. Now, I may be wrong here since I havent watched it in awhile, but doesnt he say that Bespin is pretty far from Hoth or something? But in the NJO map, there practically neighbors.....now in my mind pretty far is like the distance between Endor and Bakura is in the NJO map.
Actually, you remembered wrong. Hoth and Bespin are in the same are in the same sector, if they were farther apart Han, Leia, Chewie and the droids would have been in for a long trip with only lightspeed travel capabilities on the Millennium Falcon.
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo Now I have seen countless other maps online made by regular fans, that are tons more accurate than the NJO map. They at least have the Wild Space and Unknown Regions case down flat. And just think, the other day I went to the map and drew the Vong invasion path on those maps, and it works as well.
Could you PM me the web addresses of those sites? I would like to see their maps very much?
Originally posted by Mitth'raw'nuruodo In my mind, the NJO map is crap and will always be crap. It sucks, inaccurate. The points with Wild Space mentioned above, is clear proof that there is one big mistake in the map. Now if you find that map accurate.......shame on you. :p
Mitth'raw'nuruodo, the map used in the New Jedi Order was in use for two years before it appeared in the NJO books. The map is also approved by Lucas Film; they wouldn?t screw up in a major way on something as important as this. It would have been corrected by now. I also have another reason to argue for the existing map  I am too lazy to rip down the map of the galaxy I have on the wall behind my bed?
 8. Rokar walked south through Kakariko Village, using his sword to destroy any unwanted object that could possibly contain rupees. He walked into the overgrown garden of a house on the east side of town. Didn't look like anybody lived here... He went to work, hacking away at the weeds in the garden, and finding a rupee here and there along the way. After ten minutes of furious work he sat down on the fence and cleaned his grass stained sword on a rag. He counted the rupees in his pocket. Only 78, it wasn't a huge amount, but it would do for now. He was about to leave the newly cleared yard when he heard a shout behind him. Man: "Wait!! Thank you stranger for cleaning up my garden. Would you like to come in for a bite to eat?" Rokar: "Uh, no thanks I'm in a hurry. Thanks for the offer." Man: "How could I ever repay you? I am too old to weed my garden, and you have done it for me without a though of reward. Here, take these rupees." Rokar: "You keep them." The man presses the rupees into Rokar's dirt stained hand. Man: "Keep them. Rokar: "Thanks!" He watches as the man returns to his house, and then continues through the town, looking for rupees. He passed by several houses, none of which looked promising. As he approached the edge of town he noticed a huge patch of weeds outside an abandoned house. Rokar smiled, and went to work on the weeds. After all, who knows what could have fallen out of the owners pockets while he or she lived here. He found many things around the house: seven green rupees, five arrows and chicken which had been hiding in the weeds. Rokar watches the frightened chicken run back across the street to its coop. Then he counts his rupees. His pouch now contained 172 rupees, in small change. His pouch was full and getting heavy. He would need to get change before they went on their journey. No sense lugging more than a hundred one rupee pieces around...
 9. Abob and Lalaith walks solemnly out of the depths of Coruscant and onto the more heavily traveled levels of the planet. Abob pulls out his commlink, and calls a hovertaxi. They had to get off planet soon, the Jedi were already beginning to search the planet. After a few minutes wait, a hovertaxi pulled up to where they were standing, and the driver called out to them in a raspy, croaking voice. Genosian hovertaxi driver: "Climb in friends. Where are you headed?" Lalaith: "The docks, I would appreciate it if you would hurry." Genosian hovertaxi driver: "Sure, but it'll cost ya extra." The hovertaxi begins weaving through the air-lanes of the city planet at breakneck speed, dodging spaceships, private speeders and other airtaxis as they raced towards the docking bay. Abob held on tight as the taxi executed a sideways roll that placed them in the middle of the spaceport complex. His attention was drawn to Lalaith as he sensed a sudden surge in the anxiety of his friend. He turned to see Lalaith's lightsaber had fallen out of the taxi during the taxi's haphazard maneuver. Lalaith was desperately trying to pull it back up, but kept losing his grip on the tiny object. Abob: "Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Concentrate." Lalaith reluctantly closes his eyes and concentrates, and seconds later his lightsaber comes flying into his outstretched hand. Lalaith: "Thank you master." They pay the airtaxi driver and walk across the spaceport complex toward the private docking bay they had rented. Abob suddenly sensed several Jedi ahead, and turned to his padawan to warn him? 10. I was wondering if someone was ever going to post here again... I think the Star Wars map in the NJO books is completely accurate. After reading your post last night, and looking back at my copies of the Hand of Thrawn series, I found the authors descriptions of the galaxy to closely match the map. The map used in the NJO is no different from any Star Wars map I have ever seen, and was in use before the NJO came out. I don't see how anybody can dispute its authenticity.
 11. Rokar, Tasis and Elsyan walk slowly across Kakariko Village towards Sahasrahla's house. Rokar makes a mental check of his things; he had his bow, sword and potions. All he would need now would be a spare bottle. He could never have enough of those. His problem was that he didn?t have enough rupees left for a sturdy, well made bottle. He could usually buy them from the man who sat on his rug in on the west side of town, but he didn?t seem to be there anymore. A lot of things had changed since his childhood, a great many things. They arrived at Sahasrahla's house, and knocked at his oaken front door. They waited with apprehension for several tense minutes, and finally the door opened. Sahasrahla ushered them inside and had them sit around a large table in his kitchen while his wife bustled about making food. Sahasrahla: "What brings you back friends? Not another injury I hope?" Rokar: "No, not this time. We want to catch up with Drake. We think he may run into trouble in the dark world." Sahasrahla: "Hmmm, I see. Well, if that is really what you want to do I will help you. Do you happen to have a map?" Elsyan: "I do." Elsyan hands Sahasrahla an old map, on which the village elder marks two paths. One is in red, the other in blue. Sahasrahla: "The red path is the route Drake is taking. The blue route will get you to him faster, but is much more dangerous. However it is the only way to reach him before he gets to the graveyard. Be sure to stock up on supplies and weapons before you leave, outside of this village, people aren't very friendly." Rokar: "Thank you." The three companions leave Sahasrahla's house and head back towards the inn. Rokar opens his pouch of rupees and counts them. Not enough. Never enough...

 15. OOC: Just a question, DigiFan, why are all of your words capitalized in your posts? :drunk: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Jarlith blocks with his lightsaber, and then uses the force to hurl a jagged piece of ancient duracrete at Abob's head. Abob halts the duracrete in midair, five feet behind his head. He pushes against it with all his strength, using his mind to keep the deadly piece of artificial stone at bay. Jarlith gasped for breath as he gave the stone another mental push. Abob pushed back, hard. The stone moved slowly towards Abob, inch by inch. It was only a matter of time before Abob would be forced to give up. Unlike Jarlith, he didn't have a reservoir of powerful emotions to draw on for strength. Only his clarity of mind and willpower could save him now. Abob suddenly released his force grip on the stone and ducked, sending the stone flying towards Jarlith. The Sith brings his lightsaber up in front of his face and slices the duracrete slab in two, each piece hurtling past his head. Abob uses the distraction too bring his saber upwards into Jarlith's stomach, then upwards. The Sith falls to the ground in two pieces, a look of pure venom on each side of his neatly split face. Abob: "Sorry..." The Jedi Knight picks up his opponents crimson sword and turns the deadly blade off, then attaches it too his belt. These were troubling times, and he might need an extra weapon... 16. OOC: Sorry I haven't been around for a while, we had a series of important tests in school. I'll try and make up for lost time over the next week... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Rokar strolls out of the village tavern after finishing breakfast. That bartender sure was something, moping like the world was going to end. His milk had seemed watered down, no doubt with the bartenders tears. The man just had to get over his daughter leaving. It had to happen sometime. He takes a brisk stroll across town, heading back to his room at the Inn. He has been wondering if the stranger he and Elsyan saved had awoken yet. He enters the Inn and climbs the creaky stairs up to his room on the third floor. He walks into his room at the Kakariko Village Inn just in time to catch the end of and Tasis's conversation with Glen. Rokar: "I don?t know about you two, but I think I'll go down to the tavern before being on my way." Elsyan: "Where are you going?" Rokar: "I honestly don?t know. I had been planning on finding an out of the way place where I could settle down and avoid the monsters." Tasis: "And miss all the fun?!" Rokar: "I think we can leave that to that Drake Desbreko. He seems to be going on some type of journey." Elsyan: "How do you know that?" Rokar: "The way he left us, like he had somewhere to go. I was over at the tavern earlier and all the bartender could talk about was his daughter running off to go on a journey with Drake." Elsyan: "Sounds like they have a plan. What about us? We can't just split up and go hide while the monsters grow stronger." Tasis: "Can't we?" Rokar: "I suppose we could try and catch up with Drake. What do you think?"

 18. Rokar watches as the boy and girl kiss, oblivious to his presence. Then there is a shout as another figure walks down the stairs, his face red with anger. The newcomer is an older man, and seems to be very angry at both the boy and the girl. Older Man: "Joan! How many times to I have to tell you to stay away from this ruffian! I told you he was no good and you still disobey me. Off to your room!" Joan: "Father, leave us alone. Max isn?t bad; he just has a few prob-" Older Man: "OFF TO YOUR ROOM!" The girl runs upstairs crying, and the young man begins to move nervously towards the door. Older Man: "You get out of here, and don?t show your face in this Inn ever again!" The boy nods sorrowfully and then scampers out of the Inn, and the older man turns to go back upstairs. Rokar: "Excuse me; is there any chance I could get a room?" Older Man: "Oh, I didn?t know you were here? We do have a room; it'll be 50 Rupees a night." Rokar: "Fine." He pays the innkeeper and pockets the room key, then heads off to the tavern for some food. He used to know the bartender; they had gone to school together as children. Maybe he could call in some favors? As Rokar walks through the empty and windswept streets of the village he hears a shout. He turns to see a woman carrying a wounded man into the village. She looks very tired, and worried. Rokar runs over to her, and takes the injured man from her. ???: "I found him right outside a portal at the edge of town. We need to get him some help." Rokar: "I'm Rokar. I haven?t been here for a while, where can we find a healer?" ???: "Sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Elsyan. I'm not too sure where we can find a healer either, is there an Inn around here?" Rokar: "Yes, I have a room there, can you take him to the Inn while I go for help." Elsyan: "Yes, of course." He hands her his room key and heads towards the tavern, to find help for this stranger. The wind has been gradually picking up as the evening light fades into darkness. He struggles against the wind and pounding rain as he walks towards the tavern. He finally arrives at the tavern and steps inside. The building is large, with many tables on one side of the room and a bar on the other. There aren?t many people here, mostly travelers from out of town. He approaches the nearest stranger to ask for help?

 20. The EU is my favorite part of Star Wars for one reason. Everything that happens is connected so intricately you would think one author had written the whole thing. No one story is isolated and autonomous from the rest. There had been no contradictions in what, ten years and one hundred plus full length novels? As for the triple creation of the Death Star, I prefer to believe it was created in the maw facility. The Geonosian's and Raith Sienar can be shoved out an airlock without vac suits... :shifty:
 21. Rokar walked silently through the small forest that lay on the other side of the river from Kakariko Village. He made his way south, down through the tall trees towards the edge of the river that separated the forest and the rest of the outside world, which was now in a state of utter chaos, from the peaceful inhabitants of the village. He knew of that chaos all too well, having tried to hide from it in the most uninhabitable regions of the dark world as a hermit for so many years. But even in the most remote parts of the light and dark worlds, evil was growing. Growing faster than ever before by what he had seen. Something had to be done, soon? He reached the end of the forest and walked down a sloping hill before turning left towards the village. Then he noticed that the weather had taken a turn for the worst. Rain was falling in torrents, and the wind was howling like a wounded monster. He must not have noticed it in the forest because of the tree's protection from the elements. There was a trail here, and Rokar suddenly felt uncomfortable. What if he didn?t belong here anymore? He had left so long ago nobody would remember him, would they? There was only one way to find out. He walked into town, and headed for the Inn, where he knew he could find shelter for the night. He pulled out a pouch of ancient coins from his belt and looked through them. Enough for two, maybe three days of food and shelter. Then it hit him, a horrible thought. What if he couldn?t talk? He hadn?t spoken to anyone for least four years. He stopped in the middle of the street, the wind howling all around him. Rokar begins to talk to himself in a scratchy dry voice that he hasn?t used in a long time. Gradually his speech returns to normal and he continues down the cobblestone road towards the Inn. He enters the Inn less than a minute later and sits down in the far corner after taking off his soaked traveling cloak. He only notices two other people in the bar. A boy and girl, both looked in their late teens?
 22. I have moved around a lot, every two years to be precise, and I have been just about everywhere in the US that has a navy base and then some. I have lived in: Washington D.C. 23. I think that producing the Prequel movies was an excellent idea that could have been fine tuned better. I think that Episodes I and II are both great movies, and while they don't match up to the original trilogy, they still are critical parts of the Star Wars timeline. If I could have had some say in the production of these movies, then there would have been several things I would have changed. Jar-Jar would not be one of them. As much as I despise him, he does serve a purpose in the movies. I also would have removed any reference to the Death Star construction from Episode II, since the EU had stated that both of the gargantuan battle stations were designed in the "Maw Facility". I might have also removed some of the cheesier script, such as the conversation between Anakin and Padme right before they enter the Geonosian Arena. Overall I think these are great films, and I strongly disagree with Mitth'raw'nuruodo's opinion that the prequel movies shouldn't have been made. But this is just my opinion...

He wears leather traveling boots and hunting clothes, underneath a black traveling cloak. His bow and quiver of arrows are slung over his left shoulder, while his long hunting knife is stored in a sheath attached to his belt. He walks moves slowly and in an unhurried fashion, projecting an air of confidence to mask his insecurity, Background/Bio: Abob was born in Hyrule, and grew up there under the care of his parents. He was quiet, and studied to become a knight. He left home at seventeen, and set off into the wilderness. He wandered through both the dark and light worlds for several years, like a leaf blown by the wind. He never stopped, slowed down or stayed anywhere for long. He kept moving, learning how to survive in the wild, to hunt and to protect himself from the evil that lurked in the Dark world. He wandered for three years, until he finally fell in love with a Hylian woman who lived in the lost woods. They married and had several children. Things were going right for Abob, but suddenly a disaster struck. While he was off hunting a band of roving thieves stumbled upon his house and demanded everything they owned. His wife refused, and the thieves killed her and all of the children in a fit of rage. Abob returned hours later to find his family dead in his burning house. He was devastated, and has never recovered from his grief. He has lived in self imposed exile in the swamp ruins of the Dark World for many years, grieving. Lately things had begun to change. The evil creatures which served Ganon were getting more common and more powerful. It was no longer safe for Abob to live in the dark world. So he has gone through a portal back into the Light World, looking for a purpose in life? 25. Voldemort walks calmly through the Dark Forest, alone. His mission to Diagon Alley was a major blow to the wizarding world, and it would be years before they could fully recover. Wandmaking was an ancient art, preceded only by potion brewing. It took a wise and skilled wizard to make a quality wand. There were several overseas wand makers, but none as good as the English wand shop in Diagon alley. Voldemort stopped thinking about the damage he had caused to the wizarding world as he approached the edge of the dark forest, which had been marked by the Hogwarts gamekeeper's cabin for nearly three centuries. He watched as two figures exited the castle through the main door and began to walk across the sloping lawns, heading towards the lake. He couldn't tell who they were, yet...
