I was walking a little behind the group. A lot had happened in such a short amount of time. I wasn't sure I fully understood it. I heard from Gal'Hof that there were troubles in Mordor. I went to Mythanmyre to ask infrmation. I got inducted into this new Fellowship. Now we were marching across the land to our, more than likely, demise. I shook my head and felt the Symbyote shudder with bordom once again. I gave it some food, which it threw away. It went and perched on top of my head. The only time I can remember actually yelling at a game is when I was playing FF VII the third time through. I just got to the chocobo farm area and was doing some leveling up. When I got there I was on level 17, give or take a few levels. I stay there for a good three hours. By the time I was done it was about two in the morning. I guess I knoded off while pressing my directional pad. The next thing I know I woke up and was staring into the "GAME OVER" screen. The last time I looked I was on level 23. I got into a battle whn I was asleep and got killed. I screamed so loud that I woke everyone up. I also recently screamed at my computer, and broke something. I could not get my printer to work. Everytime i would try to print it would say something like "An error has occured. Check all connections and try printing again." I would check all connections and they would be fine. I determined the problem to be the USB hub I had it hooked up to. I, against the opinion of a Best Buy proffesional, took it apart. Now I know my way around electronics pretty well. There was a bunch of gunk inside it. Hair, dust, etc... I cleaned it and put it back together. I hooked it up and turned on my computer. The thing started sparking. I unplugged my computer and shouted at it in a raving fit of rage. So the moral of this story is to listen to Best Buy people. Always!

I completely agree with Transitic. I failed my Jazz Theory Exam back in December and my parents were seriously pissed off. Ryan- "It was Ifrit... Phoebie- "What?" Ryan- "Ifrit... The fire summon... We failed to stop them from getting the Huge Materia and now they are all-powerful..." I hung my head and drifted in-between different segments of our mission. Everyone else looked troubled as well. Even Vukodlak looked a little worried. "Ifrit hasn't been seen in years. After Cloud and his friends defeated Sephiroth they merged all of their materia with the Huge Materia in Cosmo Canyon. They didn't want them to be used ever again." I shook my head. Vukodlak- "They have all of the magic now. The three Bahamuts, Phoenix, Ultima, Slash-All... Knights Of The Round... They're unstoppable." I looked up at him with dead eyes. I gave him a smile that showed no sign of joy. Ryan- "Your right." I put my head back down. "The Resistance is dead..." The Rover halted outside of Corel. I grabbed my pack roughly and walked out.

I would have to say that they are okay. I was too cheap to buy a pair of real SoapShoes so I just soaped up mine and did it. It worked ok for a while but then I had to stop because I started falling a lot. I still long for the days when I could tickle people pink by attempting to slide across a whole park bench. ...It usually ended with me falling.

My mind was troubled. What was going on in Mordor? Why does no one know about these things? I heard from my master that we have spies there. What happened to them? I shook my head and contiued walking to Mythanmyre. It would still be a good day before I got there. I pulled down my hood and looked around. Everything had suddenely got very quiet. Nothing was making any noise except for my throbing heart. I gripped my staff tightly, expectantly. Something moved to my left. I turned and pointed my staff. Nothing was there. Behind me something moved. I whirrled around and sent a firebolt into the meadow. Something jumped into the tree's squabing. I pointed my staff and heard a weak cry. [b]Ryan-[/b] "Who's there?!" A small black imp-like creature jumped from the tree and landed in front of me. I followed it with my staff. [b]Creature-[/b] "Do not hurt me Wizard! I am but a symbyote! If you fall behind I will not wait for you. I am in a rush." The creature, whos name I found to be Jork, made an interesting little happy sound and jumped along beside me as I walked down the road.

Vukodlak slashed violently at something making us all jump. When we turned to look at him he was holding an arm. Vukodlak- "One of them jumped at me." He shrugged and we walked up the ladder and inside of the house. There was a smell inside. It smelled like molding flesh. Kabuki vomited and ran outside of the house. Darken and I grimaced and looked to our leaders. Phoebie was scanning the area looking for signs of life. Vukodlak was busy stuffing the arm into his pack, probably for later study. Phoebie motioned for us to spread out. She went up the ladder to the top level. Darken went to the second level. Kabuki was still outside of the place. Vukodlak and I went inside of Bugenhagens machine to check on the Huge Materia. We got onto the machine and I pressed the start button. The entire area went dark. The machine turned on and we were carried upward. All of the orbits of the planets lit up and everyting became illuminated. I dropped to my knees trembling. Vukodlak surveyed the scene with a grim face. Everywhere around us body were tossed. Some were burned, some frozen, some apparently poisoned. A few were turned to stone, and crushed. I looked up with a twisted face. The Huge Materia were gone. I grabbed Vukodlak and pulled on his sleve. Ryan- "We gotta get out of here! We are gonna be slaughtered!" I ran out of the door, jumping from the machine. "Phoebie! Darken! We gotta leave! Darken jumped down from the second level and Phoebie slid down the ladder. ?The Materia?s gone!? We ran out of the building and down the stairs of Cosmo Canyon. The entire canyon blew just as we jumped in the Team One Rover. Pieces of debris fell around us as we sped away. Both of the eams looked down as we started motering toward the Gold Saucer.

A lot of my money goes to cloths but not all of it. Also, I don't buy designer cloths. I buy what I like. If something had a Ralph Lauren tag or a Tommy Hillfigure label I wouldn't buy it unless I liked it. People at my school buy some of the ugliest cloths I've ever seen, and when I ask them why they bought it they say 'It's a name brand." I myself would rather go get somethign that looks exectly like it at a WalMart than go to a fashion store and buy a $79.99 tee-shirt. Am I alone here?

Most of it was useless but some of the chatter the trees made was quite interesting. I held up my redwood staff and a flash of light billowed out of the tip of it. Suddenly a thousand conversations entered my ears. I pressed a hand to my ears and dampened the spell a little. The noise was contained to the area immediately surrounding me. I looked toward one specific tree and walked over to it. [b]Ryan[/b]- "How are you doing today Gal'Hof? Good I presume?" [b]Gal'Hof[/b]- "Oh Ryan, the world is troubled today. Everyone is talking of the trouble in Mordor. No one seems to know exactly what is going on. I have seen many things during my long life on this world. I have seen the bloody battle between Middle Earth and Sauron. I have seen the Fellowship prevail against Him the second time." His braches uplifted. "I was given the great honor of giving you your weapon. And now it seems, before I die, I will see yet another chapter in history unfold." [b]Ryan[/b]- "Hmmmmm..." My brow furrowed. I took out a small blue orb and clutched it. The face of my master suddenly appeared before me. [b]Master Uents[/b]- "Yes my young aprentice, what is it? I thought you were taking a short holiday? The Redwood Treefolk have told me some unsettleing news. there seems to be something happening in Mordor. I need to talk to them as soon as I can." His image faded and I stuffed the orb back into my pocket. I turned back to Gal'Hof and smiled. [b]Ryan[/b]- "Gal'Hof, I'm going to have to leave for a while. It may not be anything big but I need to know more about the things happening in Mordor. I promise I'll come back to see you before you pass on." I gave him a firm rub on his trunk and started to walk away. I was tapped on the shoulder by one of his branches. [b]Gal'Hof[/b]- "Please take this." He thrusted a small velvet bag into my hands. I opened it and saw brown powder. [b]Ryan[/b]- "Gal'Hof! I couldn't. I can't take this from you. It's what is keeping you alive." The brown powder was the innermost part of the Treefolk. It's like a lifeblood. This substance sustains them for over 500 years after they were supposed to die. [b]Gal'Hof[/b]- "Go. Take it. My life is almost spent. I'm ready to move on. That would only have kept me alive for another twenty years or so. And that's tweny years I don't need. Anyway, it will help you more than it will help me." His branches sagged and my face fell. One of my best friends in the world was going to die. I dropped my staff and wrapped my arms around his trunk. One of his branches came and rubbed my back. "Go now. You need to get to Mythanmyre." He nudged me away, gently, and gave me a wave as I started walking toward the road. I waved back and wiped away a small tear that formed in my right eye.

We ran up the steps of Cosmo Canyon. I contiued running when we got to the top. Phoebie paused. I stopped and turned to her. Ryan- "Phoebie! What are you doing?! We have to get to the top!" She looked at me gravely and pointed across the plateau that was the first level of Cosmo Canyon. I followed her stare and saw the Cosmo Candle. It was out. All that remained was a smoldering pile of charred wood. I shook my head and turned to run for the stairs. Phoebies hand caught my shoulder. Phoebie- "Ryan, there are no survivors. Everyone is dead." I noded and motioned for her to hurry up. We climbed the first set of stairs and found the weapons shop. The shopkeeper was slumped over the counter, frostbitten and cracked. I fought the urge to turn around and run. We contiued up the stairs untill we reached the Gi cave entrance.
