1. A chair appeared in the center of the room. I sat down. ????- "This is your challenge. Answer this question. A flower blows in the wind on a weak plant. A day later, it is found on the ground. Whose fault was it that it fell: the wind, or the weak plant?" After a good hour of contemplation I still could not figure out the answer. _____________________________ OOC: Good god Evie... I said I wanted something not too hard... I'll get it though. Even if I miss out on fighting Auron.
2. I found this picture a while ago and decided to post it here. What do you people think of it?
3. Name: Daniel F'Lor Race: Human Loction: 1 --Just to clear things up, I'm a peasent under Harlequins rule... This should be interesting. :)
4. Man that was a great story. And it was the first 'dude' story I have read. I plan to read the rest now. :D
5. OOC- I need someone to give me a mental question. Something like "Is it legal for a man to marry his widow's sister?" the answer is moot because the man would have had to die in order for his wife to become widowed. I will supply the rest. And please don't make it too hard. :(
6. My user name is DarkOrderKnight. I have often included The Dark Order in my stories and novels. Also I sometimes include them in the RPG's I play. The Dark Order is also a site now... My avatar is of Gene from Outlaw Star. I had no idea of that when I chose it I just liked it. I thought it suited me. My signature is on one of the few very good complimets I recieved. (thankyou Mist!) And my banner is of the wonderful Es Clan. As you can see I am ES-Malice. (thankyou Phantom!)
7. I really like the patchwork filter. It really only looks good on large images like that. 8.5/10
8. Feed this guys ego a little. Soon he will be back to normal and you won't have to take another job that messes up your scheduel.
9. Sweet and beautiful. I really like it. 8/10
10. OOC: Hope you get better JC. ---------------------- My mind was the same black void. The fellowship was standing there, in the middle of the expance. They were all looking surprised and a little afraid at the desolate landscape. Bahamut laughed and the fellowship recoiled. iwas suddenly kneeling about 50 feet away from the fellowship. Abob- "RYAN!" Ryan- "Leave now! While you still can!" I shouted at motioned at them. I felt a blast of icy air hit my back. Bahamut was behind me. I held a knife to my throat. Bahamut- "Would any of you happen to know what this place represets? It represents this dear boys mind. And this knife is exactly what it is in the real world. If I kill this boy here, then I will be the only mind in this vessel. And that means that I will have no more interference from this mind!" He jerked my head violently by the hair. My eyes lit up with hate. There had to be a reason that I was not yet dead. Did he need me? No. Maybe my mind was still partially my own. Maybe he had not corrupted it all yet. Ryan- "I've figured it out Bahamut. You still need me. You won't kill me." Bahamut- "Do you want to bet, boy?!" Ryan- "Yes I am. And this place is still partially mine." I closed my eyes and concentraited. The knife flew out of Bahamuts hand and into the 'ground'. He was then hurled backward. The vortex formed in the middle of the place and i dived in. Everyone was seeing through my eyes now. I could hear their scared yells in my mind. I saw their bodies lying limp on the ground. With a quick chant their bodies rose and their minds were back in their bodies. "Go! Part of him is still in Mordor! This is only his mind!" I blasted them with a white light and they dissapeared. My eyes rolled in my head and Bahamut was once again in control. Bahamut- "What have you done?!" Ryan- "I sent them to Mordor. So they can kill you."
11. Ryan- "Hmmm..." I walked up to the door slowly. I pressed a hand against it and it was immediatly thrown away. I rubbed my hand in pain, then raised it. I traced a symbol in the air and lit it with red light. The symbol floated in the air and had a smoky quality about it. I pushed it against the door hard. The magic field sparked and protested, then snapped down. The door opened. "That wasn't so har-" I was suddenly on the other side of the door. I heard the field snap back up, and the door creak back closed. "What the?" I looked around. I was in a black room. There were no windows, no doors (exept for the one I entered in), and the only thing that was in it was a table. I approached it and four vials appeared there. ????- "Pick one of the four and you will begin another trial. Whichever you pick, I would wait for one more person to enter that section of the sector." I looked at the vials. There was a green one, a violet one, a blue one, and a yellow one. I picked up the violet one and fingered it expectantly. I uncorked it and drank half. I put it back with the cork in, and had a sudden rush of vertigo. My body crumpled to the ground. I had a sudden feeling of flying. I looked around and saw my body on the floor. I yelled and it reverberated in the room. I looked at my hand and saw it was see through. "You have choosen the mental trial. I sincerely hope you are strong of mind" A red swirling vortex appeared and I was sucked in.
12. Ryan- 'Iondarc NOOOO!!' I screamed in my mind. Bahamut heard evrythign they had said. He was prepared. He would kill me if that is what it came to. If anyone were to come into my mind he would simply destroy them. I watched through My eyes as Bahamut looked to Iondarc. His spell was gaining power. He stood up and walked over. Everyone eyed my body with suspision. Bahamut- "What's wrong guys?" Lauren put a hand on Iondarcs arm, stopping the spell. Lauren- "Ryan? Are you ok?" Bahamut put on the most convinceing smile I had in me. Bahamut- "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" Abob- "Why did you use a Dark Magic spell to vanquish the Orcs?" everyone did a little head movement thing to look at Abob. Bahamut- "I really didn't want you guys to know this... I thought it might exile me from the fellowship. I have a little bit of Mordorian blood in me. I've been developing my powers in secret to aid myself in battle. Please don't be mad. If you want to contiue with your spell Iondarc, please go ahead." I sneered in my mind. Ryan- 'What a crock of shi-" Bahamut- 'Hush fool!' He smiled broadly at the group.
13. I think PiroMunkie does the best job. I honestly haven't heard of half the people on this list. Piro is fair, tolerant and worships the Quizzical God of Entropy.
14. I really like it. It's simple, appealing to the eye, and has a cool pic. 9/10
15. How about weapons that never wear down. Guns and stuff are pretty durable, but eventually they will start miss-firing. When a pistol fires more than 5000 rounds in a one-hour period it is definitly going to be damaged somehow.
16. Perhaps you should check out the thread related to that in the Sony Forum, wristcutter. Sexual Content isn't everything. If you think that then you are most likely going to be one of the people that buys Dave Miera XXX when it comes out. A good RPG needs to have a good plot, like SS and many others said. It also needs flow. You have to be able to go somewhere with the story. I find that to be the reason many, not all, RPG's die. Detail is good, to an extent. To much detail = boring as Juuthena said. I can't wait to see your RPG SS. It sounds great.

Quotes

Simpsons... Gotta love em. Homer: "This is a drug that will allow you to see and hear things beyond your wildest dreams. You must never take it!" I don't think that's exactly right...
18. I agree with Semjaza Azazel. The words should be up a little longer. As for the second one, it's pretty cool too. Will I be permitted to join this RPG? It sounds interesting. I think they will let you use it in your sig. I've seen bigger things than that in sigs. I want to make soemthing like this and put it in my sig... Maybe just the music. :D http://www.columbia.edu/~sjt59/allyourbase.swf
19. I wish I could have seen the first draft... The second one is pretty good though. 8/10 Very deep, and it makes me think.
20. Beautiful poem. Another addition to the OB Book of Poems. How odd that it perfectly captures my recent sad event. 9/10 Great Job Evie!

I just rented this game with the hopes of someday buying it. I found it to be one of the best racing/stunt games I have played to date. It's myriad of characters combined with the intensity of the tracks is enought to make any racer drool. How do you all feel about this game?
22. I was going to post something but Ed took care of it all. Good for you Ed. :D
23. My trip to town was uneventful. The only thing that was actually jumping was my mind. I had finally come to terms with my parents death, by starting a tree on fire. As it burned down I realized that I had gotten over the horrible ordeal of my parents murder. I stepped into the bustling town with a smile on my face. This was the first day of the rest of my life. The twn was crowded. Merchants on the streets, higher price items inside of shops. A weapons shop, a magic shop, a potion shop. Anything you could imagine, it was here. I walked into the magic shop, just for curiocities sake. The man behnd the counter was old, and badly shaven. ???- "What can O'Riely get you son?" I looked around. Ryan- "What's that?" I said pointing at a severed finger. O'Riely- "That is the finger of Kefka! It will grant you increased healing power. 700 Gold!" Ryan- "I really don't know any healing spells. All I know are elemental attacks." O'Riely looked at me for a long time. He grabbed a box from beneath the counter. O'Riely- "I came into this a long time ago. It will tell me what type of magic user you are. Put your hand in the box, palm up." I did. The symbols on the top of the box all lit up. I felt a blast of cold air fall onto my hand. Three of the symbols flickered off. Then another, and another, untill all that was left was the symbol with the elements on it. Air, water, ice, fire and earth. He knoded. "An Elementalist. I haven't seen one of you for quite some time. Here take this. It will do you more good than it will do me. Only 20 gold." He handed me a medalion on a leather band. It was a necklace. I put it on and it imediately flashed to the shape of a rock. "And your a Quake master! How rare!" I paid the man and left the shop. My earthen powers felt quite a bit more powerful. Maybe I had just graduated into the 3rd magic of Quake.
24. I was suddenly plunked into a vast expance on blackness. This was my mind. Bahamut appeared in front of me. He was nothing more than a shadow with red eyes. Bahamut- "Your body is pitiful! It succums to energy drain much the same way a mouses neck is snapped under the heel of a boot. This is your mind. This is the emptyness that is your mind when no one is at the helm. We are both here, in this simple plain of existence. All I have to do is wait." Ryan- "Wait for what?" He started to circle me. Bahamut- "You will see." My mind suddenly changed from black to white. A red circle appeared in the center of the 'world'. Bahamut dove into it. I felt the place swirl and suddenly he was looking up at the felowship through my eyes again. Abob was holding a vial very close to my mouth. Bahamut hit Abobs hand throwing the vial far into the oncoming orcs. Abob had a confused look in his eyes. Bahamut- (OOC- From now on when Bahamuts voice is not in 'arial' font, he is speaking through my body.) "Go behind that tree! Now! Don't look, the spell may blind you!" Everyone, in their confusedness of me wakening so suddenly, did as they were told. Iondarc was carried off by Abob just as a bolt of white light shot from his staff. It killed many Orcs. My body moved in front of the Orcs. He held out my hands and a burst of black rimmed fire shot out. All of the orcs burned to cinders where they stood. My body smiled and turned to the tree. "It's ok now. You can come ou..." Iondarc was staring at me from around the tree. Bahamut curled my face into a look of utter disgust and restained himself miraculously from killing Iondarc. He put on the smile again and walked over to the tree. ---OOC: I would be happy to take up the character of Bahamut... Seeing as he is in my body and everything.
