2. OOC: Alright, I am now throughly mad at your character... ------------------------------------- Mara gritted her teeth as she watched Auron stab Elsyan's horse, and the horse fall to the ground. Forgetting about her companions, the time mage burst into a deft run, light as the wind, yet fast enough, for she was soon on the heels of Auron. They ran through a dank corridor, the must that clung to the air hangiong heabily upon them as they ran, their breathing irrecgular and heavy. Mara's hair flew free, and her body felt free, but she was angered beyond reason. This man...this thing...was trying to destroy everything that she stood and fought for her. He was cruel and unforgiving, not to mention cold-hearted. She didn't notice that as they ra, he laughed. His laugh was as cold as his personality, pale and rigid as was his skin. She shuddered yet again. It was going to end. Now. She forced herself to a skidding stop, and willed herself to say what would soon flow from her mouth as if her words were honey from a plastic bowl; slow and steady, yet delicious when said. "Auron," she called, her voice with the might of a seasoned time mage tinting it, "You have been a worthless coward all your life. You have hurt many people, and show no regret. If you die, and I guarentee that you will reach the land of death before dawn today, you will die fighting, as all should. Be noble in this way for the first and last time in your life and accept my challenge. It is my challenge and my challenge only, comrade."

 4. Jaster swore heavily, and then flipped on his COM unit once again. He waited patiently for the static to clear, and soon he heard Montross' response. "Montross," he shouted over the pulse blobs, "coming to our position isn't a good idea. They have pulse tanks!" "Pulse tanks?" the Vertigo leader asked increduously. Jaster confirmed. "There's a bit of marsh about 400 meters to the right of our postion. We're moving there for the moment. That way, when you reach our current positon, we would have already pulled them off of you, and if we're lucky, the marsh will be too weak to hold the tanks steadily." Jaster replied thoughtfully. Montross agreed. "Take care of yourself, Jaster!" the other man joked, and then switched of his COM. Jaster turned, vigorated, to Kwaz and Kredion. He smiled and gripped his blaster rifle tightly, preparing himself for a 400 meter dash to wetlands. "Well, boys," he said, bringing his gun to his face, "You heard me. Fall out!" And with that, the three men ran, slowly being followed by natives, as Montross and Jango quietly sneaked their way to the Headhunter division's past position.
 5. Speaking of redundance, hasn't anybody noticed that most mainstream animes are based along the same line? Kids, with animals who have special powers, (Or have special powers themselves...) are trying to save their world or accomplish life long goals. That, or DBZ, which is a whole other genre itself. When I speak of DBZ, you can tell I look at it with the upmost loathing. When a friend and I were speaking about anime, he said, "DBZ is the greatest!", and when I countered that I hated it, he said that I didn't like it just because I didn't understand it. Well, I blew up at him. How could one not understand dying character that keep coming back for five minute, six shows long fights, that hardly contain any sense at all? How could one not understand ultra powerful people who are always right, and are never learning anything out of the lines of fighting techniques, etc.? My question is: How can anyone like a show like DBZ?
 6. That and the Goo Goo Dolls. Their first ice-breaking album," Dizzy Up the Girl", was fantastic! But thier recent "Gutterflower" is good, but it can't ewven hold a candle next to it's predecessor.
 7.
Originally posted by genkai_yyh yes, i agree with james, the IRA have shown signs of receeding, and attacks would lead to rioting and more violence.:(
Of course the IRA have shown signs of receeding, but the fact that they still exist peeves me out a little. Who knows, maybe they're planning something... (Been hearing too many conspiracy theories lately...)
 8. My dad is a huge fan of the Red Hot Chili Pepperes, so he's naturally listening to them every opprotunity he gets. I like the new CD, but I agree with whoever said it doesn't quite compare with some of their previous albums.
 9. Not offended in the least. I said that you were probably right, seeing as how I don't really pay attention. I have the attention-span of a kindergartner...^^;;
 10. I voted for the 'above average' setions, look!
A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 111-128 is considered to be "above average intelligence".
I was right! ^^ (I got a 126...)
 11. OOC: Thanks for the note, Boba!(You know what I'm talkin' about...) Would I happen to be the only girl in this? ^^ ---------------------------------------------------- Jaster, Kwaz, and Kredion ducked behind a large amount of rock after a swarm of armed natives performed a complex miltary maunever and had soon out numbered them. "Kredion," Jaster called, as three men fought of the group of targets, "have and thermal detonaters?" Kredion shot down two natives with a blaster rifle, and then shook his head. When Jaster asked Kwaz the same question, he recived the same indirect response. "You think they'd answer me with words. No respect for authority these days..." he muttered, as he took down another native and flipped on his COM unit once again. "Abob! Where are you and where is Jango!? We can't hold out here much longer!" "You're in trouble?" Abob asked, his voice cracking from the COM's static "About 10-12 natives down here," Jaster replied, "get over here quick!" Jaster switched of his COM unit after that. He pointed his blaster pistol at yet another nameless native, and watched as the body fell limply to the ground, the warrior's eyes glazed in silent, sweet death.

 15. "Blonde is not a color; it's a state of mind." "Air head! Push her off the Empire State Building and she'd float!" "I have no earthly clue..." "I'm pretty sure the spelled bologna wrong." "Leave me alone; I'm eating...Well, not really, but it's a good excuse." All of these are from me, by the way. ^^*
 16.
Originally posted by Jesus Chicken Yeah, sorry if anyone gets pissed at me, but I really can't stand people who say they like underground music, just because they are trying to be alternative, that pisses me off.
Now that's just stupid. Some people may like underground music better just becaquse they like it. Not eveything has a negative reasoning, ya know.
Anyway. Tool, brilliant band, they have a new album coming out next year, and that is definatly something to look forward to. Also if you get the chance, see them in conert, they are brilliant.
I wouldn't go as far as brilliant, but they are pretty good.
 17. I think that America is going to take this 'war' in steps. I'm sure we'll reach the IRA in time, due to the fact that everyone is so hyped up about Iraq...

 22. Oh goodie! Did I ever tell you that I love you, Aries? ------------ Mara blinked in suprise, yet kept her hand locked firmly on her once companion's throat. Auron blinked and the smiled. "Kill me. I dare you." he said simply. Mara just stared at him. "Why?" she whispered. Auron laughed at her. "Why not? You won't be able to," eh spat venomously, "you're too weak." Mara set her jaw, contemplating her next action. Her jade eyes slid out of earthly focus for a moment, and a cold chill danced it's way slowly up and down Auron's spine. Mara grip tightened. "Why did you betray us?" she asked, her voice void of emotion. Again, Auron's cruel laughter cut through the night. "Do you not hear? How can I betray you is I was never onyour side." Mara's grip tightened a little more. "So all of it was a lie?" she inquired. Auron smirked. "Yes." Mara shook her head, disgusted and threw him against a wall. She stood up from her crouch. "Stand up, you worthless piece of scum. You will fight." she said, her voice now full of passionate rage.
 23.
Originally posted by James I was just one of those people that everyone seemed to know and generally like.
That's the position I seem to find myself in at the moment. Although, I'll be moving soon, so I'm more than sure my status will be changing. ^^'
 24.
Originally posted by DaRicanRhyno Many people asked why they didn't get any main stream people to do their album, but instead they chose underground rap artists, who in my mind are alot better than the garbage rap that hits the mainstream these days, i.e. Nelly.
Actually, I think there's just as much underground garbage as there is in mainstream. Most underground stuff is based off of mainstream, so therefore, most of it sucks. The fact that the artists haven't been noticed has nothing to do with it. Hmmm...bum blub... *adds to dictionary of funny words* ^______________^;; (Don't poke my mouth, Juu!)
