Well, we'll all be zombies eventually. When Oprah's in control, that is. (I really need to stop with the Oprah crap...):animeknow

I forget almost everything. I forget where I put a book, or I take off my watch and forget to put it back on and go the entire day not having a clue what time it is. Good thing I don't have to wear glasses, or they'd be long gone. Although I'm badly farsighted, so I need glasses. The idea of contacts frightens me. I forget toast in the toaster, food in the microwave, and the countless times I've put a soda or something in the freezer to get cold faster and I'll forget and it'll freeze and explode.
I don't know about forgetting embarassing things, but I do have this irrational fear about forgetting times and dates. For instance, if I am supposed to meet someoneat a certain time, the closer it gets to that time the more I start to panic and believe that I'm remembering the wrong time. Nine times out of ten, though, it's the right one.
I have the same problem! Oh geez. Good thing I'm not the only one. I stress and panic over forgetting the simplest things.
Is it not just possible that God created stuff... and then it evolved? Either way, I don't really mind. The other posts in here are far too well-constructed for me to attempt trying to form an opinion of my own.
That is the theory of intelligent design, which is NOT the same as Creationism. Creationism is HARD-CORE in the belief that we were created by a God, and in the case of Christianity, the world is only several thousand years old. Intelligent design is that we were created at SOME POINT, and anything could've happened along the way, i.e. evolution. But to the guy that started this thread: I am SO glad I didn't get flamed like this when I started out on here. I remember similiar posts of mine that make my stomach turn to read these days. To answer your question, yes, I believe in evolution. But I don't begin to speculate on the origin of life, because it simply doesn't matter to me and I'd really rather not argue/debate about it with people who are set in their ways.

What, were you just sitting there eating a waffle, and the idea occurred... "Hmm... I wonder how other people feel about waffles. There should be a thread about this!" I swear, that wasn't meant to sound mean in any way.

At age 12, he managed to sneak on a cargo ship headed for the US. He lived in New Jersey from that point on, but was staying in NYC, New York when the virus hit. ( :As everyone else seems to be: ) He carries twin switchblades and a fully loaded pistol, due to severe paranoia. Not much is known of Sebastiaan's past. He isn't a legal American citizen, no one seems to know of him, and it is unknown how many people he's killed, if any. His true age is shrouded in mystery, as he can't remember which year he was born in. Cold and emotionless, he says very little, and only as much as necessary. Currently, he stays with a friend, after having been homeless for a year. --------------------------------------- "Empty your pockets, I said!" Sebastiaan commanded, one hand clutching the throat of the man he held against a brick wall. The other hand pressed the cold steel barrel of a pistol against the man's temple. "How many times do I have to say it?" The venemous purr of heavily French-accented words gripped the anonymous man in terror. "I don't have any..." The victim's mouth gaped mid-way through the sentence, his eyes drifting beyond Seb, widening. Seb whipped around, letting go of the man, who scrambled away screaming. Another man stared at Seb vacantly; almost hungrily. Before he could say a word, the man lunged at him, growling. Reflexively, Sebastiaan fired two shots into the man's head and he flung back into the opposite wall. Cursing to himself, Seb began running down the narrow alleyway, seconds before the streetlights flickered out. Alone in the dark, he continued running, no destination in mind. He was worried. Worried about being caught by the police. If he only knew. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ( : I haven't RP'd in forever. But I saw this and had to sign up. This is one of the best I've seen in a long time. Good job. Also, I added a little more info, kind of bringing the story up to the present. : )

"CYAL8R" What? No one said that yet? "I was right about Oprah!" I'm serious about the second one. If I die mysteriously, it's because Oprah knows that I know about her plan to take over the world.
User name: Vietnamese for peach blossom. I used it in Fire Emblem .. and it got stuck. xD Also shows my Viet pride ^-^;;
Ah! I love it. That is so (oh no... I can't use that word... agh. Screw it.) KEEEEEEEEEWWEEEEEEEELL!! Did I tell you about that time I found a Vietnamese coin? Well, I was at the mall, see, and I fished coins out of the fountain. ...long story short, I found out that all the money went to a charity and was thoroughly embarrassed. And now you know! But it's not as bad as it sounds, really. They couldn't use any money that wasn't Canadian or American. And now you also know how often I ramble off. Nice meeting you! Awesomeee.

Please excuse me for asking this, but... why does it really matter? o.O I mean, there's this thing that's been bothering me lately (Since I changed my username, it's been alerting me when I've replied to a subscribed thread, instead of just other people) But as long as your reply shows up in the thread, what's the big deal? ...unless that's the issue? If that's the point, I apologise. :animeshy:

Yeah, I'm not the best to give advice on this kind of thing. Except well, maybe you should go see a counselor, maybe she should too? I pretty much just figured out that she was jealous. Jealousy is bad. I had to call off an engagement recently because of jealousy. He demanded my time ALL THE TIME. I couldn't do anything but talk to him, ever. Needless to say... I got really sick of it. Just tell her how it is, really. Unless she's no good at talking about problems, or she plays mind games. In which case you should probably just break it off.
Besides, we both masturbate so there really isn't any change with that situation for me.
I think that's a bit personal. o.O I think you should break up with her ONLY if it seems like she's being emotionally abusive. Just make sure to stay there for her and she won't feel abandoned. My boyfriend threatened to kill himself if we ever broke up. Guess what? That was just another one of his mind games too.
Waffles aren't that great. Too crispy, unlike pancakes. Pancakes are nice and soft, and with fruit like blue berries or strawberries, they become even better~ The only pro about waffles is that they don't become rediculously soggy when you swamp them in syrup. And choco chips seem to fit better in them. And they are quicker and easier to make. I guess that is three pros. Oh well :(
I'm only quoting this because I am in love with your avatar. Seriously, my email was laughingman2828@yahoo.com for a year. But alas, it isn't anymore. I can't bare to think about food right now. My doctor thinks I'm anorexic because I only weigh 100lbs right now. So he told my mother to make me eat a lot. And god, am I sick. x.x Anyway, I like waffles... but really, I like a bagel and an apple for breakfast (See why I weigh so little? I can't eat anything unhealthy!) sometimes maybe a Gatorade or something. Maybe a Monster. I don't care for RedBull. Pancakes? My grandma made pancakes every Sunday for the first 14 years of my life. So no, no, no. I have no personal problems with waffles. Those little microwave pancakes are a bit better though. And those circle-shaped slabs of sausage at McDonald's are pretty much all I go there for.

Well just read enough of the old series' to get the gist of the plot and characters and stuff, and move on to something a little more appealing. Batman, eh? That's even older. Even older than that is Superman, stretching back to the 30's, I believe. Maybe even 20's. But Superman doesn't appeal to me much, the old stuff is alright. I like Green Arrow, though. And that's not easy to find. Yeah, it really is the concept. Back then, the art and the plot for X-Men weren't too great. At all. But the concept... that is pure genius.

I just realised I don't have 3 Libras on here. It's an amazing song, and one of my favourites by them, but then again, I did delete my entire music collection and begin the task of getting only my favourites. I didn't remember some of them, however. I'd like to note another band that just send pure electricity through my veins. Purple Rain by Prince I don't know if it's possible to NOT like this song. It's one of the most beautiful songs in history, in my opinion of course. And this isn't just because I lived in Minneapolis, and the song just aches of the city. The guitar, his voice, everything just coalesces into a song where you don't care how good the guitar is, how good his voice is, but how mindblowingly amazing it all is together. And even if you were to pick it apart, each instrument is well-played. And the pain in his voice... Okay, if I don't stop now, I'll go on and on about this song. :D

Well, geez. Everything I've read of X-Men is completely out of order. Mostly new stuff that reads like fan-fiction and such. I tried reading the older ones, but I really like good art. And the old, original stuff is... well, old. I have a great respect for it. But it's old. I say start at the very, very beginning. If you can find it. =/ Sorry to not be of great help, but I had to reply the second I saw the word 'X-Men'.
Question by alice nine. This song just strikes a nerve every time I listen to it, bringing me to tears. Very few songs have actually been able to do that. I can just connect to the lyrics in this song so well, every lyric reflecting what I'm feeling. The vocals also reinforce the raw emotional lyrics with an amazing duet between Shou(vocalist) and Saga(bassist). A recommended song indeed.
I searched for it, but couldn't find it. But I'm a huge AliceNine fan and it's the only one I think I've never heard... but I know it must be great due to the standard they've set with their other songs.

In my town, I was extremely pissed off when they wouldn't show Brokeback Mountain. They did the same thing with Fahrenheit 9/11. And I was the only one angry about this! I mean, there was no protest, no rating, they just flat-out WOULDN'T SHOW IT. Do they really think watching a movie about gay cowboys (and we live in a cowboy town) is going to make all the guys in town gay? Or that watching an anti-Bush film is really a threat to their political views (well, it is. Maybe they just don't want to risk that.) It happens. I mean, I waited until the DVDs came out and bought them. But it's the principle.

Just think. You're traveling across the country, and in two years I'll be travelling to another. I wonder if that means they'll tighten the security or they won't care as much. After all, I am the number one terrorist threat to America. It's so obvious. And I think any metal that doesn't attract a magnet won't see off metal detectors... but this could be wrong. Believe me, I've tried to hang magnets from my lip and tongue and ears countless times to no avail. You'd think I'd figure it out the first time around... Don't quote me on this. I mean, coins don't attract magnets and yet you have to take them out of your pocket when going through a metal detector... thing.
Well canned and sold after being altered from it's original meaning. I'm partial to Halloween though, it is my birthday after all. Anyway, you're exactly right, as is Allamorph... no whining people... enjoy it! If you don't, you have only yourself to blame. After all, I've spent more years being single on the day than I have dating. It's not that hard to just have a regular good evening on your own. And it's a lot more fun than going around thinking... I hate this day!
Well, yeah. It seems like we're going to have to start forcing people to have fun at gunpoint. But if you're going to hate the day, just keep it to yourself and act as if it's any other day, instead of seeing how many people you can get to feel sorry for you.
Yeah, but then you're getting back to the 'one-thread-per-anime' stance with added sub-forum clutter.
That definitely reminds me of waaaay back when. But the question is... would that be progression or regression? It doesn't sound like a terribly horrible idea, but at the same time it might not be the best.
-
Well, you have Easter, Halloween, Christmas... Every single holiday is canned and sold. I think it's the candy companies, myself. ¬.¬ It's one of those things... 'Don't think about it, just enjoy the damn holiday!'

Now That We've Narrowed Down The Candidates...
[Sound_Nin] replied to Morpheus's topic in General Discussion
It sounds to me as if Romney doesn't know a thing about his own religion. I could be wrong, but it seems that way. I'd like to see more people providing a reason for their religion other than 'it's how I was raised'. But alas, that's another subject altogether. I've been wondering why people take so easily to Hillary and yet when Barrack says something it's analysed again and again and over and over. Shouldn't we be doing this with EVERY candidate, regardless of party? And Obama in the northwest is a sure thing. Is that already over and done with? If so, give me the details. I don't watch much news, sad to say. -
You have a point. If it weren't for that, he'd be set up almost exactly like James A. Garfield.
Along with that, he's far from qualified. But that doesn't seem to matter much in the case of actors. (Ala Ronald Reagan) Or the sons of former Presidents, for that matter. -
-Ramen. Seriously.
Good job, Tim. You just made me hungry. Nice to meet everyone. I'm Shain (Insert looooong unnecessarily foreign sounding name here) But most people call me Mik or Mikä. (Feel free to call me Nin if you can't remember all this. ._. Unless you don't want to talk to me! D: ) You'll be surprised how long you can stay here. I've been around since '02 and they haven't kicked me out yet. -Shifty eyes.-
