I recently saw this movie on Dvd and realised why it has been labeled as one of the best looking anime's of all time. The effects in the movie were amazing and if I saw it in the cinema I think the effect would be even greater. Incase there is already a thread about this my sincere apologies but I just thought I'd ask about what everyone else thought about this movie if they have seen it \ if not. I quite liked the dragon while, the scene where it is being chased by the whitches razor paper things is quite good. And despite it's unpleasant meaning the way the blood whacked up against the wall when it shot out of the building was really well done.

Hmmm lessee (there's one). SOK! is one of our good ones, most of our stupid* words just kinda circle around our friends group. Sauce* is a new one, started of as sumfin* like "I'm hot like SAUCE!" or something like that. Cheezepuff*, weird*, coolz*, Kewl*, narley*, whoop-whoopwhoopwhoop!* and booya!* hmmm number of * = 10 and counting, we're not weird, just origional!

Well you all seem to be able to pull in an A easily. I worked pretty hard for my english class and got around 85\100 for all my for, an a grade is 80+. I don't spend all my time working so Iprobably could do better. My problem is that I don't find all areas of math interesting so my grade kinda drops there. I really love making things so I'm probablt left brain oreantated. I think alot of perople don't really push themselves in classes and just choose acredited (meaning you got the skills in that class but not a Uni entrance score). I chose 6 T classes and some of the were hard (especially top level math!....I dropped down one though so it's K). But yeah not everyone puts the effort in and I think that if I don't feel like I'm using my full potential, how must they feel?

[/B][/QUOTE] Firstly dream creature that chase you are actualy a part of your subconcious that act as a barrier, if you can defeat them or face them you usually gain something from your subconcious (spiritual well being, a song, pictures, peace of mind, depper more interesting dreams etc.). The repetition part of your dream is common with nightmares and is actually something that can be overcome...I'll get onto this in a moment. The part where you were paralised is called sleep paralasis, this is where you 1\2 wake up,. you're concious but the movement parts of your mind are usually asleep. Onto that repetition dream of mine. I had this many years ago and was a turning point in my dreaming. I was running through a bunch of hexagonal rooms with a heaxagonal comumn in the middle. The side and middle of these rooms were filled with alcoves with burning people and skeletons reaching for me. I knew that if they touched me I would become like them so I had to get out. I ran to the exit and entered the same\identical room. I kept going but the room kept repeating. I just got angry and 'forced' my dream to leave the room, I was touched by one on the way out but didn't care if i became like them cause I hopped into a car which was waiting with a friend t the wheel and dove off. I think this was my first lucid dream (I posted about lucid dreaming in an earlier thread, if you don't know what it is look for it).

I've had a few 'interesting' teachers in my time. On teacher was really cool, she swore and took her shoes off in class but really cared about your education and if you were understanding the work and such. I had abnother one who we dubbed 'stress ball', she yelled at you for talking and eventualy got so stressed she threw boxes at a student. Apart from that I have had REALLY good teachers that are cool to talk to and really try so I suppose I haven't had a bad run :p

Some other easter eggs in the waiting room were the mobile phone form monster inc. A book "M for Monsters", and something about a poster. Other ones were the pizza truck from toystory drives past in one of the scens. All the boats were named after the directors and Mike Shinoda (I can't remember how that's spelt) swims past in the closing credits.

It could also be the spirital representation of a desired personality or a extrnal way you would want to be seen by other people. For instance I would prefer to be seen as a calculating, patient and observant person. Problem is I;m realy an energetic, fun-loving and as far from serious as hotdogs are from mars.

Good concept but perhas a bit sharper and some transparencies would go a long way. Otherwise top stuff

I'm loking forward to it coming out on DVD. But has anyone seen the mcdonalds ad which has a scene special made for it? It has MArlin, nemo and dorey playing with one of the collecatbles you get with a happy meal.

Theryan is a spiritual energy where you are most closely related to one sort of animal or creature. The beleif goes that a person will have habits, actions, thought or abilities that seem most closely linked to a certain animal. For instance some brezerkers in norse history focused energy in a certain point on their body and went into a brezerker rage when they beleived they had the energy of a bear in them. I beleie I am most closely related to a wolf and use it as my wolf. What's yours?

These mixtures gave us a very good insight not only into the mindframe of eachothers beleifs but also we got to find what was proper and what was wrong in the bible. Well the chest isn't see through actually, just really shink and without a proper enviroment it reflects pretty much everything..in this case the BG and the head. I tried to stick some lamps in the head but my programm is unable to support rounded lights, at the moment it has linear lights inside the eyes. As to what programm I am using it is Rhino, a sort of CAD based programm. I was going to do it in Maya but haven't installed the PLE yet (unfortunately it's all I have of maya). Rhino is good cause You can do renders and it comes with lots of texture, though I am going to make some of my own. So far I've been bogged down with work and haven't had time to do much more on it, am going to re-model the hand and all but I should be able to have a better version up in about 4 or more days.

"Inspiration is the key to creativity" - alter ego This immage is actually a title page for a game assignment I am working on. The origional image was the ship and cargo module with the background applied. I used photoshop's Lighting effects to create the thruster effect and blur to simulate the heatwave. The light reflection is done using a lens flare. For my first real photoship piece it's not too bad. Any comments\suggestions would be great :)

Though short this poem hold alot of symbolic gestures for me. I conjoured it up whilst surfing the web for pictures and came across a website called 'tangled dreams'. I have practiced in lucid dreaming and found that this poem represents the shifting mists of the subcouncious. Yet if you keep a hold of yourself and those you love...you'll have the key to unlock any door which bar your way.

They are well though out and even if they may be aimed at kids\families they do contain a bucket load of humour that you cant help but at least smile at. This movie starts with a couple of clownfish just moving into a new anemone. The beggining is actually rather morbid and depressing as the mother and all eggs bar one get eaten by a rater toothy looking fish. The main plot of the movie is that Nemo, the sun of overprotective fater Marlin. Gets taken away to a dentists office in Sydney (Australia) and Marlin then goes out to save son and live happily ever after. The plot could do with some work but the movies comedy aspect is mainly delivered by Marlins blue counterpart Dorey, a small blue fish with a memory span of about 3 seconds, if that. Dorey spend most of her time backflipping and having a 'Whale' of a time while Marlin is stressed as a coconut in a cannon. The cast is voiced by a large portion of Australian actors so at least they got the accent right. Overall this movie is quite good but if you are extreemly wary of movies which may make you feel a bit kiddy this is one to seer clear of. But if you like having a good time and seeing some really great animation definitly fork out the cash to see it.

If this movie had a good point it would be this rewrite... Monster is looking for teenages to terrorise Finds a little girl Monster gets pissed off because the girl wouldn't give back it's hat Girl runs off Monster finds teenages Monster roars and looks vicious Teenages swear profusley Teenages run away Teenagers find girl SOMEHOW someone comes to the conclusion that the girl stole the monters hat and SOMEHOW it will make everything all better. Teenaager says "Lets sacrafice the urchin!" Teenagers throw girl out to be eaten\maimed Nobody cares cause she was a brat anyway Monster goes homeand has a nap Teenages continue on journey full of team spirit and liquor they found in some shed Movie ends, is able to be rated as 'B' grade. Now come on, as movies go this sounds really bad. If they can't put the effort in...don't show it in cinemas.

*Avoids inserting cheezy ironic cleshe* Here's one thatmey seen a little self centered but true. Whilst in highschool we always talked of how bad the schools reputation was the year or two before we got there. We spent the usual (for Australia) 4 year in highschool and then graduated without so much as a broken table or a hole in the wall. Recently talked to one of the year tens (I'm now in college) and they said that quite some happenings have happened there and the reputation has gone down tbelow sea level and then some. Irony? or Coincidence?

Sorry It has been a while but work is work and I've had alot of it. This is Sparkey a CG character I've been modeling for a short movie I will eventualy complete. The model is as of yet..unfinished. But I will have a proper render posted in about a week or two. The colors are a little melded because without an enviroment to put it in and some very shiny metal textures it tends to reflect everything. Hit me with some feedback.
