Cael adjacent to Reese and was amazed at the large platters of food. Obviously the cooking staff had gone to great lengths to prepare such a feast. Sighing, Cael mentally groaned as Hayden proceeded to wolf down any food that was placed in front of him. Edana must have caught on to what Cael was a little perturbed at and immediately proceeded to drive her boot down onto Hayden's foot, causing him to yelp in pain and gag on some food. Prynn smirked in amusement at their antics as Hayden smacked his chest and was able to swallow again. Breakfast was soon interrupted by a chain of curse words and some laughing. The group walked out of the main doors and back into the courtyard as two large feathered masses walked up to the group. "What the **** are those!? Either those are some sort of feathered horse or some really big *** chickens!!" Hayden yelled as he drew his guns and pointed them right at the birds, but in a flash Prynn's staff was pressed down on Hayden's guns and aiming them towards the ground. "Those are Cid's chocobos, and I'm most certain he would not appreciate his prized birds being killed by you." Hayden realized that shooting at the birds would be an absolute no-no and holstered his guns. As he did so Cid climbed off one bird and a young man with a staff climbed off the other. Cid gave the two birds some green vegetables as the young man walked up towards the group, noticing this Cid bolted up next to the man and shook Prynn's hand. "Prynn, this is Bedros and he will accompany you guys to the lake, now all I can hope for is that my message got to Vela's father by now."

Mobile Suit Victory Gundam was made in 1993. The story starts off 74 years after the One Year War and 30 years after Formula 91 ended. Again the Earth Federation is helpless as an even bigger threat appears on the scene. This organization is called the Zanscare Empire and is much more dangerous than that of the Zeon and Crossbone Vanguard. Eventually the conflict between the two political powers erupts and the feds are crushed. Insert the League Militaire, a civilian-led resistance force. Usso Evin is the main character, and unlike most Gundam series pilots he is only thirteen years old. This time, instead of feeling it his obligation, poor Usso is thrown into combat by the Militaire and forced to pilot the Victory Gundam. Running at a ground-breaking 51 episodes, Victory Gundam by far suceeds all of its UC predecessors. I say this because the series not only got a larger budget which meant that it got the best orchestral music in Gundam history, courtesy of Akira Senju, but it also recieved a full-year airing period. What's also good about this is Tomino added an extra touch of folklore and mystery to this series, along with the great plot twists and suspense. This series is presented in a kind of David vs. Goliath style, the Militaire being David and of course the Zanscare Empire being the massive Goliath. Tomino is able to amplify his message of childhood, innocence, and the brutality war has on those traits through his characters. Yet you would think that the children would become corrupt and heartless, but they are able to retain their kindness. Kunio Okawara, Hajime Katoki, and Junya Ishigaki are able to crank out some of the best looking mecha and in turn created a whole new generation of Gundam. A lot of the mecha though are able to trace their roots clear back to the One Year War. V-Gundam proves Tomino's creativity is as strong as ever and you really are able to appreciate his brilliance in this Gundam series. So I definetly suggest all of ye big mecha fans try and watch this series or just wait for it to get released in English. Either way, this series is awesome, its right up there with SEED. Hell, this series was SEED of the 1990s so I definetly suggest you watch this.
Gundam X is currently unlicensed. In other words, there's no dub track, and you can only see it by downloading digisubs or purchasing R2 DVDs. The latter method may be inconvenient and incredibly expensive, but it's also considerably more ethical. Episodes 1 through 21 have been fansubbed by Suteki-Yume; I don't know whether they plan to continue working with the series. With Gundam SEED airing in America, X's chances of coming over here are greatly diminished--it's not flashy enough to compete with a more recent anime, and heaven knows it doesn't have much of an edge in terms of sheer originality. Besides, if we assume that Domon represents a good portion of foreign mecha lovers, Gundam X's overseas fanbase must be somewhat lacking. That's not exactly a fantastic incentive for companies to spend their money dubbing and releasing it. ~Dagger~
Well, that's not all true. Gundam X may come over here. I mean Gundam Zeta is a lot older. It was released in 1986, and its getting released directly onto DVD this September, Formula 91 was released in 1991. But I'm sure X has a decent following in Japan, I haven't really done a check on that, but no worries. I mean look at some popular animes over in Japan that have yet to hit U.S. shores, such as Naruto, One Piece, and some other ones. Anyways, I think that X might get released over here sooner or late for ye X fans ^_~ I really can't be sure when, but I definetly suggest you watch the website mahq.net This site is the best site to get updates on Gundam Release dates. But again, I think the series has some major positives such as good music scores and good mecha but the characters are boring a big meh for me.. But not everyone shares my opinion, I mean Dagger yourself find the series interesting, and I really can't tell ye what to think. I mean a lot of people think that Turn A Gundam is a crappy series while others think its awesome. What I'm trying to say is that you should watch what you like, I just tend to take things with a little bigger spoon of salt because of what I look for in anime.

Cael was at first doubtful of this "summoning", in fact he thought the whole thing was a hoax concocted by Prynn and Reese. That is until the two were eveloped in auras that were of different colors and then, a large black dragon appeared on the stone walkway. The dragon had a multicolored belly and massive wings, but on its back was an immense golden ring, it let out a roar that shocked Cael. That was what had saved them from the Malboro! Just then Reese's summoning took its own form, a large creature with a red mane and tufts of red furon its legs and on its face, but its horns were what made Cael think that the creature was a demon. "Wha..What are those things?" Reese let out a small chuckle. "The one in front of me is Ifrit, the fire demon. The one in front of Prynn is Bahamut. These are only a few of our summons, we can summon more but only one at a time. Now Ifrit, I think we should give our guests a good show." The girl winked and the monster snorted in response as it growled at Bahamut. The dragon didn't flinch at Ifrit, but it merely seemed to shrug Ifrit's threat away. "All right Bahamut, nice and easy." Prynn said in a calm tone, and the dragon took flight, but only a little bit off the ground and shot towards Ifrit. The spar had begun.

Sighing, Cael picked up his blade and looked at Reese, who had stopped jumping around now had a perplexed look on her face. "What are you doing???" Cael smirked and motioned for her to get her rapier. Nodding, Reese grabbed her rapier and took a fencing stance while Cael took a regular sword fighting stance, and then it began. At first the pace was light and slow, but soon picked up when Cael threw his trenchcoat aside for more mobility. He smiled mentally at Reese, she didn't look strong, but yet she was able to hold her ground. "Let's get a little more serious." Cael said as he got into a more offensive stance, while Reese took on a defensive stance. Quickly bringing his sword down, Cael found it blocked by Reese's rapier and a rather confident Reese. Propelling himself backwards, Cael was most definetly surprised at her swordsmanship, obviously she had gone through some rigorous training. As the two were just about to go into another match they heard loud foot steps of several people. Both of them gripped their weapons and ran out of the room and down the hall towards the main entrance. Cael about gagged at what he saw, Tylan and the torn up and bloody figure of Hayden. Edana came running down from her room and looked from the second floor at Hayden. Prynn came out of his meditation room and was taken aback at Hayden's condition. "Bring him here, I know a minor Cure spell. It should probably be enough to heal his wounds." The group carried the still groggy Hayden into Prynn's room and placed him on the bed there. Giving the High Summoner some room the group was surprised to see a lot of Hayden's wounds start healing after Prynn had made some simple hand motions. As soon as he had finished Prynn looked at the group. "Well, I think we've had quite a day. How about you guys go to sleep and be sure to get up at eight so you can see a summoning." Cael nodded and headed back towards his room, but before he did he grabbed his coat from the training room. Entering his room, Cael was still in awe the size of the place, it was just so large and it was all for him. There was a small table by the windows, and instead of chairs its seats were rather large cushions, and over near the bed was a large Go board, either Prynn could read minds or he liked Go too, Cael simply admired the beautiful wooden table and yet he knew he would never find such craftsmenship back at his home, the Go board he had was shotty and old. Sighing, Cael simply dropped his coat over the foot of the bed and set his sword within his arm's reach and slid into bed.

I will admit that X has some major positives, but unfortunately the series IMHO is poorly done, its too much like 0083 and conisists of too much pale character impressions. For example, Garrod Ran is a pale impression of Ashta from Gundam ZZ and Tifa is just too whiny (makes some of the other Gundam universe girl's skin crawl.) I mean yes the combination of Kunio Okawara and Junya Ishigaki are great, but I guess Victoroy Gundam and Gundam Wing were their only big master pieces, teamed up I mean. Yasuo Higuchi is a brilliant music composer and I was actually hoping for a good series with the combination of these three, but I found out that the doomed 39 episode series was actually supposed to be 52 and therefore that definetly sends up a red flag for me, it says that while it may have some good stuff, the script would probably end up going nowhere for quite a bit before picking up, or there would be a lot of clip shows, and yes I loathe clip shows. GW and the others I'll forgive because they only did it once or twice. Like I said, the music and mecha look awesome, but the plot and characters are just horrible. I mean the script just reminds me of a wannabe original Mobile Suit Gundam, I know SEED was made as that and obviously it has done well, but X just is a testament that most things with Gundam in their name doesn't usually mean that its all good. Of course, this is just my opinion and I can't brainwash anyone to think what I think. I mean X is not my cup of tea, but for others they would like it. I like Kill Bill and someone I know doesn't, it doesn't mean I'm going to force them to watch it. Anyways, X does have good qualities which I'll give it credit for such as the great mecha designs and the music.

Cael had waited for the others to get their plates, as soon as Reese took her's, Cael quickly grabbed one of the more well done steaks and found the only open seat was next to Reese, sliding next to the young girl he started eating his food. After a few silent moments, Cid intwined his hands together and looked at Cael with intense eyes. "What brings you people all the way over here from your homes? Did you think maybe that you'd find something of worth here?" Cael wiped his mouth off calmly and slowly placed his fork and knife down on his plate and returned the calm stare at Cid. "We came this far so we could find an access route to the third lake and see if any of the land here was agriculturally worthy because, with over 2 million people residing near Lake Thyala we have a slight problem with the crop growing at Lake Mi'hel, so that's our mission." Cid guffawed in amusement and then looked at Cael with a grin. "Well I guess you should definetly have an escort, because there is an abandoned city right before the lake and that city is home to some mighty strong monsters. Prynn, Reese, I'm requesting that you two go along with this group and help them. Also, I know of two mages who would find this little adventure quite entertaining. One of them would be Vela, her family is a little to aristocratic for my tastes, but that girl has been an independent spitfire since the day she was born, I know her father would not want her to go but she'd go anyways. The second is a very adept black mage named Bedros, he's a loner but he'll work with you. I'll go speak to them after we eat. Now, where will you five stay for the night, I don't have any room because I converted all of my guest rooms into my lab....Prynn, would you be kind enough to open yer home up to these five young warriors?" Prynn nodded and Cid clapped his hands in approval and the group finished eating. As the group left Cid's house, Cael hoped Cid would be able to tell Edana and Hayden where to go and how to get to Prynn's house. Nearing the massive mansion, Cael let out a whistle of amazment especially at the lush front courtyard, it resembled his swordmasters home, it was oriental looking with cherry blossom trees blooming and a small coy pond with several of the fish swimming lazily about. The house was what really caught Cael's attention, the house just looked like a beacon of elegance and yet simplicity amongst the village. Grinning, Cael followed the group into the house, but not before taking one last glance at the outside.

Finally finding his voice, Cael looked at the man who had given Cael some sort of antidote. "Who are you two, and where did you come from?" The man looked over at the girl and chuckled lightly. "Well, your guess was right, they aren't from the village. But anyways I digress. My name is Prynn and this is my apprentice Reese." Prynn said as he pointed to the girl who was now heading towards Hayden with the bottle that contained the antidote. Realizing that the girl was about to either get groped or worse, Cael bolted over to Reese and grabbed the bottle and gave it to Hayden who then came to his senses, but that was the bad thing. Because as soon as he did he saw Reese and was about to start flirting with her, but thankfully Cael had shot enough of a warning look to back off. Turning his attention back to Prynn and Reese, Cael introduced himself. "I'm Cael, the black-haired man over there is Tylan, the girl with the interesting tattoo is Edana, the other girl is Acacia, and perv boy over here is Hayden. Always avoid Hayden's hands and never let him get within reaching distance of you if you're a girl.." The others chuckled while Hayden glared daggers back at Cael, but he knew the party leader was joking, otherwise Cael would have proceeded to make Hayden look like an incompetent boob. After a few more exhchanges in conversation, Cael looked down towards the village and then back at Prynn. "Would you be able to take us to the leader of the village? We'd like to meet him." Prynn nodded and the group started down the mountain trail. As the group was near the last leg of the trail, Cael noticed that Reese had slowed down and was walking by Cael's side with an intriuged look on her face. "So, you're from the other side of the mountains." "Yep." "Is it a desert over there, or does it have a great water supply as well?" "Well, yes and no. I mean, its a desert in a sense that there isn't much plant life, but around Lake Thyala and Mi'hel there is excellent plant life etc." Reese nodded and fell silent for a few moments before she thought of something else. "So, how big is your home village?" Cael chuckled which caused Reese to put a puzzled look on her face. "We don't have villages anymore. Since the drought came around, there is only one big city and it consists of about 2 million people." Reese's jaw dropped and her eyes widened in shock. "I've...That's...wow...." Was all she said, she then looked back towards Prynn and she fell into more deep thought for the rest of the journey down the mountain. Nearing the village, the group, besides the two summoners were shocked by the simple look of the village, they were used to hi-tech vehicles, massive skyscrapers, , and other things of the time, this village on the other hand looks like it was about a century or two behind the cities surrounding Thyala and Mi'Hiel. Most of the people were walking or riding bikes. The attire was simple for most people, either regular clothes or they wore robes over their clothes, something that caught Cael's attention was that a lot of the people in black robes were mainly conversing among themselves as the ones wearing the white robes conversed amongst themselves as well, and then some of them wouls just ignore the norm and converse with whoever the hell they felt like talking to. As they walked further inward Cael and company drew some rather odd looks from the people, maybe it was because of their clothes, or maybe it was the fact that they were oblivious to the fact that the village was a mage village!! Suddenly a lightning bolt came out of no where which caused Edana to jump and of course Hayden caught her.. Prynn turned with a rather shocked look because not only had Edana smacked him but she also took her whip and wrapped it around Hayden's neck and proceeded to choke him. "You son of a *****!! I'll teach you to grope my butt!! DIE!!" Hayden was letting out a gagged laugh as he tried to pull away from the angered girl's wrath. Cael continued walking on and while Prynn stood there and then finally found his voice. "Shouldn't you help him??" "As the old Adage goes. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. So I'll just leave Hayden to his own demise, save me the time and effort." Still hearing the loud gags, Cael whipped around with a dead serious voice. "ALL RIGHT KIDS!! STOP PLAYING AROUND AND COME ON DAMMIT!!" The two quarreling teens (in Cael's opinion) went motionless and looked at him with rather shocked eyes, the rest of the village was staring at them too from the whole scene... Prynn on the other hand was rather calm and motioned for them to follow him. After the group left the large mass of mages staring at them one Black mage finally spoke up. "What the hell was that all about?? I only casted one small lightning bolt..." Prynn finall stopped in front of a large house that had pieces of machinery laying about and other miscellaneous things as well. Suddenly a large explosion was heard coming from the lower part of the house followed by a long line of cursing. "Goddamn son of gun! Why the hell won't you work dammit!? I swear if you don't work I'll throw ya across the village and then haul yer sorry *** back here and then tear you apart piece by piece!!" Prynn chuckled as he cupped his hands around his mouth. "That hunk of metal giving you hell still Cid?!?!" Just then the front door swung open full force and slammed against the wall as a man that had white hair and a white mustache stalked out rather angrily, but his face lightened as he saw Prynn and Reese. "Good to see you two, how's things for you two?" "They're good Cid. I found these five on the mountain, they're from the other side. I wanted to introduce them to you." "From the other side of the mountain!!! Jesus crimeny why didn't you say so?! Com'on in then I think I can russle up some grub for us all."

Finishing up his food, Cael took the bowl over to the pool and cleaned it out rather quickly and then placed it back on the horse that was carrying the food supplies. Striding back towards the tent, Cael started to fold the tent down to its traveling size, which was about the size of a regular backpack. As he slumped it onto his horse's side he looked at the rest of the group, which was staring at him like he had some sort of disease. "Look, get all of your stuff together, we're going into the caves so we can get to tha village before twilight, so get your stuff together and get ready to move out!" The others nodded and quickly finished off their food. After the party had finished off the food they packed the rest of the supplies on the designated horse and they started into the caves. Thankfully the caves weren't that badly inhabited by monsters. The group had an easy trek through the last part of the caves, which seemed odd to Cael because the reports he'd recieved said that the last part was the heaviest populated area. As the horses trotted out of the caves, Cael could see a large village spanning out near the base of the mountain. Hayden let out a small whistle of amazement, but the good feelings were soon cut short when a squishing sound could be heard to the left of the group. The five turned to face the new creature which was a Malbro. The green mass that looked like some mutated plant advanced slowly towards the group, its tentacles lashing about hungrily, its massive mouth opened and closed for food. Suddenly Cael found himself falling to his knees, his sight darkened and feeling posioned. Groping around Cael tried to grab his sword but he was deafened by the squishing sound of the Malbro. Suddenly a loud roar pierced the air and suddenly the squishing sound ceased. After staying in a kneeling position Cael heard two pairs of footsteps crunching the ground, bumbling around blindly Cael groped the rock face and called out, but his voice wouldn't work. Suddenly, Cael's vision returned. At first it was blurry and then finally it was back comepletly and he was looking at a young man who had a concerned look on his face and a young girl who was helping the others.

Having feeling like he'd slept much Cael slid on his boots and buttoned his trenchcoat all the way. Stepping out into the cool night he knew it he should have brought along a couple of flood lights to illuminate the area, but due to weight constraints on the horses he had to settle for wrist mounted lights that were okay for now, but once they got into the caves Cael knew they would need not only the lights, but their wits also. Keeping his sword within range of a quick grab, Cael started the task of making some decent breakfast for the crew. Looking around slightly he noticed that Tylan's tent looked somewhat empty, but maybe he was in there and was sleeping still. Pulling out the pot he'd used last night for the stew, Cael went about of putting some fresh water from the mountain pool into it and then proceeded to dump some instant oatmeal mix into the water and started stirring. As he let that cook he looked over at the dead dragon. Maybe he could get some good cuts of meat off of its body, he knew from the data he'd been given that the meat on certain parts of the body were great for food sources. Hefting his sword, Cael took the blade and cut deeply into the back quarter of the large creature and cut most of the thigh meat away, leaving a large portion of the creature's bone exposed to the elements. The corpse hadn't decayed as fast as Cael had thought, so the meat was still edible. Slapping decent portions onto a skillet he began frying up the meat as if it were a stir fry hoping the smell would attract the people out of their tents. Thankfully his plan had worked and Hayden was the first one out with a rather eager look. "I had a dream about food, and look here. All this good food for..." Hayden was silenced by a death look from Cael which basically said "You even think of eating all this food and it'll be your last meal." Getting the point Hayden picked up a bowl and dished out a decent amount of oatmeal and then took a few small pieces of meat and placed them on the edge of his bowl and then sat down and started eating slowly as he eyed the pot and skillet with glazed over eyes. Edana was the next one to emerge from her tent with a sigh of relief she sauntered over towards the two, her hair was a little disarrayed and she still looked half asleep. "Mmmm...What smells so good?" Cael gestured towards the meat and the oatmeal. "Dragon's flesh and oatmeal. I would have cooked more, but we should conserve the food rations because we'll be going through some caves pretty soon." Edana nodded and took a bowl of oatmeal and some larger pieces of meat and sat as far away from Hayden as she could. Acacia soon emerged from her tent, she looked like she had slept in her clothes, she'd already prepared herself for the trek through the caves. Nodding at Cael she grabbed a bowl and got herself some food. Cael was starting to get worried when Tylan didn't show up. "Anyone seen Tylan??" "Right here." Cael whipped around and saw the black-haired man standing with a bite wound on his shoulder. A little shocked Cael walked over to his horse and pulled out a first aid kit and brandished a potion and handed it to the man who graciously drank it down and looked at the food with interest. "Where'd you get the meat?" "The dragon was kind enough to loan it to me." Cael said jokingly but Hayden just busied himself with finishing off the last of his food before he took a nose dive at the rest, but of course just as he was about to Cael shot him another death glare and Hayden just stared right back this time. Moving slightly towards the food, Hayden moved closer too until they practically ran at each other, but Cael had the pot and skillet in both hands while Hayden looked at him with a rather pissed off look. "It's mine dammit!!" "You've eaten already you pig!" "So!? I need mor..." Hayden didn't get anymore out because Edana had taken her whip and wrapped it around Hayden's legs and pulled him down into the ground. Snickering Cael dished his food up and plopped down next to Tylan and ate his food.

Looking around, Ryan wondered who he should duel next. Maybe that joke, Jon Wheeler would be fun to torture and make fun of. After looking around the beach some more, Ryan saw Jon and his dumb little flunky sitting right next to Joey, who was taking his time eating his food. Guessing that Jon had claimed a duel on Joey, Ryan sauntered over to the group and cleared his throat. "Jon Wheeler, I challenge you to a duel right now! According to Battle Island rules, Section 3, paragraph 2, it states that you cannot refuse. So get ready to lose!" Jon stared daggers at Ryan, who was already staring death glares towards him. He stood up from the bar and walked towards Ryan with a look of intensity. "Fine, I accept your challenge and I will not lose, but in fact I will win." "Pfft, not even in your dreams you wannabe." Slapping his deck into his duel Disk, Ryan smirked rather happily, he would eliminate the brat so Joey would go to the finals. But before the duel could start Kou bolted up between the group and brought his disk up as well. "Aww, you weren't going to have all the fun now were you?" Ryan grinned at his new friend and glared at Jon and his iggle buddy Chris. "All right Jon, I'll go first!!" Drawing his opening hand, Ryan smirked. It held Sapphire Dragon, Spear Dragon, Rocket Warrior, Marshmallon, and Witch Of The Black Forest. Drawing his sixth card which was Blue Eyes, Ryan took his turn. "I set this monster in face-down defense mode and end my turn." Jon snickered a little and took his turn.

Cael was the last one still sitting out by the fire. Running his hand through his hair he glanced around at the tents various spots. Tylan had retired to his already made tent and the light soon flicked off, leaving Cael with only the light of the fire and the constant reminder that there were things out there that may want him for a midnight snack. Smirking, he knew that even if he fell asleep in a tent wouldn't do that much good. Grimmacing in regret, he knew he should have requested a portable forcefield generator. Had he requested that the group would be able to sleep more easily. Sighing, he threw some more wood onto the fire and retired finally to his tent, which was only a few steps away from the fire. Slumping down on his sleeping bag, Cael pulled out a portable type of PC. One of Axerion's little perks for working in the main office. Attatching the wire that came with it he then slid the other end, which was meant to be worn on the fingers of the user, and proceeded to bring up several holograms at once. One was a personal log, the second was an inventory of things, and the third was an accurate map of the area that the satellite could make. Closing the inventory menu, Cael then proceeded to speak into a thin headset, which in turn then proceeded to make the computer type out what he was saying. "Day 1. It seems that this group is much better than I expected. I can say this confidetnly by two events that happened today. The first was the fact that our sharpshooter, Hayden had quite an accident today on the way to the ranch for our horses. Seems like he has quite a deal of strength in him, or he just has a lot of dumb luck, either way I consider him a valued member of the team. The second incident was not all that long ago, a green dragon attacked our group and knocked Edana unconscious. Hayden, surprised us all with his serious attitude and by the way he helped Edana regain herself. But I just can't talk about our sharpshooter, everyone else has shown themselves quite capable as well today too." Closing that menu out, Cael then slid the PC and everything else into his duffel bag. As he did so he laid his trenchcoat over the bag and placed his boots on the left side of his sleeping bag and his sword on the right hand side, after that little thing he slid right into his sleeping bag and fell into a semi-relaxed sleep.

Cael looked down at the stew he'd cooked up. Grinning inwardly, usually his stew was just when he wasn't really expecting company or he just felt in the mood for it, but he was glad that everyone was enjoying it. Looiking around the fire Cael realized that he was actually comfortable to be around these people, however looney some of them may act. Unfortunately though, the nice little fuzzy feelings were ruined when the group suddenly fell silent when they heard a hissing sound followed by what sounded by large claws striking the stone. Turning to look where it was coming from, Acacia pointed towards the way the group was supposed to head. Picking up a lit piece of wood, Cael hurled it in the direction, the flame went under a large dragon which then proceeded to let out a high pitch bellow at the group. "Get your weapons now!" Cael yelled as Hayden quickly unholstered his pistols and aimed them at the creature. Acacia yanked out several throwing knives from a hidden holder near her thigh and she placed the tips in her mouth and bit down while she unsheathed her katana. Edana grabbed her shotgun and got right up beside Hayden and they both aimed towards the monter's face. While this was all happening Cael picked his sword up and ran towards Acacia and Tylan. "Eat lead you piece of ****!!" Edana yelled as she fired off a high impact round at the creature's face while Hayden followed up with backup fire, but he didn't aim for where Edana's shot had fell. Instead he fired both of his guns at the large dragon's eyes which quickly blinded it, but that was nothing to celebrate about because as soon as it fell blind it started stomping about, snarling and swinging its massive tail around. Edana tried to jump out of the way but she was broadsided by the dragon's massive tail and sent flying into the cliff wall and she slumped over onto her side unconscious. Hayden saw this and ran over to the fallen girl and tried to wake her up but she just mumbled a few words. Noticing that this monster's hearing wasn't all that great, Cael ran for Hayden and handed him the Hi-Potion he had tucked away in his coat pocket, nodding Hayden uncorked the concotion and managed to get Edana's mouth open and poured some of it down her throat before she spluttered some of it out of her mouth as she came to. Letting out a mental sigh, Cael turned his attention back to the dragon. How on earth he, Acacia, Hayden, and Tylan were going to take this thing down was a doozy. Just then Hayden walked up behind Cael and tapped him on the back. "Hey, how about you have Acacia pelt that thing with her knives and I'll provide as much cover with my guns while you and Tylan gut that thing. I saw Edana's shot do nothing to its hide but piss it off so I'm guessing that its underbelly is its weak point." Nodding Cael told the plan to Tylan, who nodded in agreement and the two of them charged at the creature's underbelly with their swords held above their heads. As Cael was runing the length of the monster he could hear Hayden's pistols screaming out bullets as he continually fired at the creature's face. Tyaln soon stopped Cael about midway and pointed upwards, and Cael realized what Tylan wanted him to do. Quickly moving his sword to the same point as Tylan's. Both then rammed their swords up into the monster's stomach which caused the monster to howl and bellow in pain and collapse dead.

I just tinkered around with this RahXephon picture in Arcsoft Photostudio, its kind of like a diluted down version of photshop. Basically I added the sky background and Film Grain effect to make it look like a distorted video tape kind of effect. Thanks for any suggestions ^__^

Sitting at the edge of a pool that was in the vicinity of the clearing, Cael could hear the constant babbling of Hayden harassing Edana. Laying down on his back, Cael just watched the slit of sky that he could see from between the cliff walls. The clearing was decently covered with grass and had a few sparse tree, of course they didn't go up that high. Letting out a small sigh Cael continued to lay there until he heard Tylan's boots crunching the earth as he walked towards Cael. Propping himself up Cael turned and faced Tylan, the black-haired man then squatted down and looked at Cael with rather serious eyes. "I need to talk to you about something." Cael nodded and Tylan then pulled out a small data pad. "I pulled up some information about this mission before we left, and I know that if we are trying to get land from anyone near that lake that we are to pay them off. My question is, where is all this money??" Cael rolled his eyes, obviously this Tylan was very thorough and didn't miss a thing. "All right, fine. You got me, the money is to be shipped when Axerion sends some big shot officials over." Tylan nodded. Cael still remembered when he was told about the whole deal, it just felt wrong to him. Hauling himself out of his sitting position, Cael dusted off his jacket and turned towards the group. Seeing some Acacia already placing things within her tent, Cael decided he should start unpacking some of the other things like the food and his tent. Looking back towards Hayden and Edana, Cael yelled at them. "ALL RIGHT KIDS!! I'M STARTING FOOD HERE IN A BIT SO QUIT PLAYING AROUND!!"

Hittokori Zero is right, SEED is being released on Toonami, but this really is the year of the gundam. Three great Gundam hits will be landing this year in the U.S. First we start off with Gundam SEED which just ended over in Japan, I haven't downloaded the series, but I plan on buying it on DVD. Secondly we have Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta which was made a year after the original Gundam Series was released, this takes place about midway through UC 0080s and was one of the more popular UC timeline gundam series, it is being released directly onto DVD, at least what I have gathered from www.mahq.net I think its a good move to directly release this series on DVD because if it were to air on CN at all it would have to air on Adult Swim. And finally the creme de la creme, Mobile Suit Gundam Formula 91 is a full length movie that will be released in theaters and then onto DVD, Formula 91 is another UC gundam movie that was very popular and was next to last of the UC timeline gundam sagas, it was later followed by the 51-51 (not sure) episode series Victory Gundam. So this is definetly the year of the Gundam so be on the watch for these great things to hit the U.S.

After saddling up their horses the group continued towards the mountain, there no longer were any roads so they were going all across desert with minor watering holes that the goverment had provided along the route to the mountains. Cael just kept his eyes covered and watched as the mountains started to loom in front of them, he knew that the peaks being so far up had accumulated vast amounts of snow, which meant large quantaties of water, but the problem was getting it. Turning his attention away from the mountains Cael noticed a few wild cactaurs running about like children. He'd heard people that moved into the city call the cactuars "Children of the desert." At first the lead one stopped and just stood there unblinking at Cael and then it just scampered off with its friend chasing it. Smiling Cael just clicked his tounge for his horse to move a little faster so they could get to the mountain base faster. "Hey, Cael. What's the plan for when we get to the mountains??" Hayden asked in a serious voice, which shocked Cael for a moment. "Well, we'll make camp in a decent area and then the next day we'll go as far as we can and then make camp again. That is if we live through the night." Being rather cryptic at the end of his sentence Cael grinned inwardly at Hayden's obvious shock that they would be sleeping out near monsters and such. The proceeded on slowly but surely, by about twilight the group had finally reached the base of the mountains and Cael could already feel the cool air rushing to greet him. He breathed in deeply and sighed as his horse's hooves clomped down on the rock path. Climbing off Cael stretched his body and watched as the others did the same. "All right, how about we walk for a decent ways and then make camp for the night." The others nodded and they started down the decently cool pathway.

I hate to say it but this just seems somewhat unoriginal simply because this seems a lot like the Universal Century timeline Gundam. I mean you have two warring factions (course that comes with any kind of gundam series) and then you are derviving your colony names from the name of the colonies in the UC timeline which were also called Side something or other like Side 6. Then you have the development of the Gundam as a superior secret weapon. You really should be original in your own sense such as not combining all of the gundam series and such into one big lump, that really is just not pretty. I mean yes the gundam is nice but you have all these gundams from their own series being massed into this one series and it just doesn't seem right, I mean a Jagd Doga, a Virgo, and a Gera Doga all working together?? I wish it would happen but its just to off kilter and it just doesn't seem like you really took time in the main plot of the story. In my own opinion you really should just go with an orignal plan and work with it from there otherwise you're just selling yourself short. Go back and re-evaluate this story, take out all of the gundam series that are existing and make your own from scratch. If you don't want to, you can make an extention of another Gundam timeline but pick one, all of these time lines and such being lumped together is not very original.

"Rocket Warrior attack his life points directly!!" The little warrior shot towards the man without any kind of defense and wiped out his life points. The bomb started beeping louder and Ryan grinned, they were down to one and since Kaiba had activated his Virus card. "I'll end my turn for the time being." Ryan said smirking. Kaiba drew his next card and began laughing very gleefully. "You fools! Now I sacrafice Vorse Raider, Terrorking Archfiend, and Rocket Warrior for OBELISK THE TORMENTOR!!" The three monsters shot into the sky and a pillar of blue light enveloped the area as Obelisk's outline appeared and as the light receeded Obelisk stood covering all three player's field. Its massive body was a testemant to its name, like the tall pillars in Egypt it stood at its full height. "Obelisk! Attack his Sangan and then I end my turn." The massive blue god brought its fist down upon the three-eyed fiend and then it went back to standing like a statue. The man then took his turn and smirked, also he retrieved his card from Sangan's effect. The last card he drew was a Kinetic Soldier, smirking he summoned it in attack mode. It was then Kou's turn and he quickly summoned out his second Archfiend Soldier and ended his turn. It was Ryan's turn and he almost died of happiness, it was Spear Dragon. "All right, I summon Spear Dragon in attack mode and I attack your stupid machine for 550 difference!!" The small green dragon shot at the machine and blew it away in an instant. For the final turn the man merely passed his turn and Kaiba ended the duel quickly with Obelisk. The three men all crumpled and cowered in fear and Kaiba brought up his radio which was now working and ordered a chopper up there to pick them up.

Still a little surprised from the little escapade Hayden had put on Cael could only smirk in amusement. At this rate the group would either become good friends or end up murdering each other. Either way it sounded odd, Cael friends with other people?? Really the only friend Cael had was his sword master he had been trained under, other than that he didn't have anyone else. His parents killed in the Coup D'etat and his uncle dead (at Cael's own hands.) Cael really didn't have any family left to be around. Turning his attention back to what lay ahead of him he saw the outline of the ranch, the group had actually made good timing. Glancing at his watch Cael let out a small whistle, they had definetly made good timing, his original thoughts were that the group would get there maybe around a later time and have to spend the night, but if they kept this up the group would probably be halfway through the mountain trail by nightfall, that is if the monsters didn't swarm them.. Picking up more speed Cael finally led the group to the ranch's long driveway and finally up to the house. The house was all on one level with a tan coloring to it and a black roof, aside from the house there was a standard water tower meant for storing the surplus water that any rural estate needed, and two large barns. One Cael guessed housed the horses, because of the loud neighing and the bales of hay stacked next to it, the other one then contained some small farm equipment. The owner of the farm finally walked out of the barn with a look of shock on his weathered face. "Damn you five are early! How about you guys just take it easy and.." Cael waved his in thanks but his look remained emtionless. "Thanks, but all we really would need is some food, the rest of our supplies, and the horses." The man nodded obligingly and led the group towards the house. "My wife just got lunch set up and she makes plenty." That proved to be an understatement because within ten or so minutes all the food was gone and the wife was left in awe, mainly due to Hayden and his total goofiness. Cael on the other hand was not in awe but sheerly annoyed, his left eyebrow twitched in slight anger. "Thank you ma'am for the food, now we'll be on our way." Cael said as he paid the woman at least three hundred gil for the trouble of feeding all of them. As soon as that was done Cael left the house and headed for the stable and saw the farmer slinging some supply bags onto the horses while the others picked out some horses for themselves. Sighing, Cael walked over towards a horse that was copper colored and had a pure black main and tail and some black coloring around its hooves. Stroking its face Cael decided this was the horse he'd take with him through the trail.

Still standing against the left wall next to the doorway smirking at what this group was like, there were two others that were very quiet, and two that were practically new. Though Edana had very high level of maturity for her age. Cael held his sword at his side and waited for someone else to make an apperance, after about five more minutes Cael finally decided it was time for him to make the briefing. Pressing a couple of buttons the room darkened and a hologram of the entire world appeared in the center of the room. "As you are all aware there are two lakes on this side of the world, Mi'hel and Thyala. But there is one more massive lake, but all attempts to access it from the air have failed, as have the three ground missions because the high infestation of monsters. So, at the moment I'm sure you all are wondering why the hell we would attempt another ground mission. The reason behind you four being chosen is because of your fighting talents and your other attributes.." Cael said as he shot a glare at Hayden who was eyeing Edana, the youngster quickly turned back towards Cael and nodded for him to continue. "Anyways, we are to travel via vehicle to a ranch just at the mountain base, there we will pick up horses and the rest of our supplies and continue through a path in the mountains. Now, any questions?" Hayden raised his hand as Cael let him ask the question. "What kind of vehicles are we taking??" Cael only looked at him and motioned for them to follow him towards another elevator at the other side of the room. The five of them crammed into the elevator and found something to occupy themselves while they waited for the elevator to finally reach its destination. Cael found himself messing with the collar of his trenchcoat, he noticed Hayden twirling his guns around his gloved hands, Acacia was merely looking bored as was Tylan, and Edana had her eyes closed but she was tracing her whip at her side. As the elevator finally came to a halt Cael stepped out of the elevator first and the automatic fluorescent lights came on and illuminated the vehicles for transporting the five. Five very new looking motorcycles in several different colors sat waiting for them. Hayden let out a loud whistle of impressment. "Damn these are sweet *** rides! I call the red one!!" Cael smirked as he ran for the red motorcycle and lept on it. The others took some that they liked until Cael was finally seated on the blue motorcycle. Nodding at the group they all started up their engines which triggered the garage doors to open. "All right, keep me in sight and don't pull any crap!" Cael said jokingly as he fired his bike towards the doors followed by Hayden. Their mission had finally begun. Meanwhile in a dark board room in the Axerion building several figures sat around looking towards each other. "So they won't find out about the experiments will they?" "I'm sure they won't make it past the other side of the mountains, not with the powerful monster lurking there. Of course if that village does truly exist, we might have to find something else to stop them from finding it.." A familiar voice lilted in. "If they find it, they find it there's nothing we can do until then got it?"

This is a Water themed deck I came up with, I know some of the monsters in the main deck and side deck aren't exactly this kind of deck material but until a regular 1900 Water type hitter comes out I'll just have to go with these. Anyways here's the deck. Tribute Monsters Orca Mega-Fortress Of Darkness Levia-Dragon-Daedalus The Legendary Fisherman Low Level Monsters Giant Red Seasnake Gagagigo x3 Kuriboh x3 Cyber Jar Breaker The Magical Warrior Gemini Elf Torpedo Fish Sangan Sinister Serpent Witch Of The Black Forest Aqua Spirit D.D. Warrior Lady Tribe-Infecting Virus Magic Cards Raigeki Premature Bruial Delinquent Duo A Legendary Ocean x3 Heavy Storm Monster Reborn Dark Hole Pot Of Greed MST x3 Graceful Charity Harpie's Feather Duster United We Stand Change Of Heart Traps Imperial Order Ring Of Destruction Mirror Force Call Of The Haunted Side Deck Terrorking Archfiend Jinzo Archfiend Soldier Magic Cylinder Slate Warrior Kycoo The Ghost Destroyer Strike Ninja Torpedo Fish x2 Suijin Revival Jam Sasuke Samurai Swords Of Revealing Light Snatch Steal Terraforming Now I know some of you are wondering why would I have a Terraforming side decked instead of Main Decked, the answer would be I have no clue why at the moment. But I can explain the Terrorking, I did that because of his negation abilities and that alone is good for me, because I simply hate slamming into those damn Cyber and Fiber Jars all the time. I only Main Decked 1 Torpedo fish because with it I have quite a nice Monster Removal force, I mean what with Levia Dragon, Orca, Raigeki, Dark Hole, and Tribe-Infecting so I really only needed one. Breaker is a great addition to this deck because of his ability. Jinzo was side decked mainly because I will need to go on the major defensive once or twice and I would need my traps to be active so no Jinzo for the time being.

The wam water trickled and winded its way down his muscled tan back and then melded into the water at the bottom of the tub. Turning the water off, Cael reached for the towel rack, but his wet hair had plastered itself to his face and he couldn't see very well and he about fell over and out of the shower as he grabbed his towel and proceeded to dry himself off. As he stepped out of his bathroom Cael draped the towel about his waist rather loosely and he propped his right arm at the side of his window and stared out over the city, his white hair was now pulled back in a small ponytail for the time being, his eyes just stared out blankly at the landscape. For a few minutes Cael's mind just was somewhere else, until his phone rang. Picking up the black reciever Cael was greeted by his boss's voice. "Cael, you're needed here pronto." The gruff voice said and Cael muttered something and then hung the phone up. Quickly shedding his towel Cael quickly dressed himself in his usual attire of his black long sleeved shirt, black pants, black strap boots, and a light tan trenchcoat. Glancing around his apartment Cael took his sword off its display hooks above his bed, then he grabbed a Hi-Potion out of his nightstand top drawer. As he walked out of the apartment building Cael was greeted by a balmy, arid breeze, quickly he signaled down a taxi. Sliding down onto the cushioned seat Cael set his sword across his lap. "Where to sonny boy?" The elderly man said as he looked in his rear view mirror at Cael. "Axerion Corporation Headquarters." With that the man floored the taxi and headed towards the global company's headquarters. The car came to a slow crawl in front of the massive building stood amongst the sea of smaller skyscrapers and smaller buildings, its windows all melded as one made it look like some massive crystal. Pulling a crisp 100 gil from his pocket, Cael paid the driver and walked into the building's lobby with his trenchcoat billowing behind him as a breeze greeted him from the wind blowing out of the lobby. A young quirky secretary sat answering the phone and directing calls to offices and to other people. Before Cael could say anything she mouthed for him to go to the top floor. Nodding Cael stepped into the elevator and propped himself against one wall and waited for the elevator to reach the top floor. While the elevator climbed the building at a medium pace, Cael looked out over the city and saw the shores of lake Thyala, its pristine water glistened in the sunlight and Cael suddenly thinking about his pedafile of an uncle. The way he treated Cael was horrible, making him.. Quickly shaking his head to dispel the thoughts Cael undid his ponytail and let his hair fall loosely about his shoulders. After a few more minutes of waiting the elevator finally came to a halt and the doors pinged open. Stepping into a lavishly furnished room Cael realized he had just entered the President's office. Sitting at a large oak desk was the persident, he was about thirty some with dark blond hair piercing green eyes. "Ah, you must be Cael. Its a pleasure to meet you." Cael nodded and took a seat. "As you may know Axerion sent a space satellite into space to survey.." "Yes, I know that already. Now , was I selected for the team or not?" The president chuckled and nodded that Cael had definetly had been accepted. "The rest of your team members are in the next room, so I suggest you go and meet them." Nodding, Cael stood up and headed towards a large oak door and pushed it open and saw a group of other people. Okay, that means that Hayden, Acacia, Edana, and Tylan will be interacting with Cael. Mages and Summoners will be doing their own thing for the time being.
